Chapter Five- Old Friends
It has been a couple of months and there was still no sign of Sesshomaru alive and Inuyasha and Koga grew worried they would not make it in time. “Hold on this is the cave that was under Narakus castle. We should check it out.” Koga said lighting a torch he brought, Inuyasha unsheathing Tetsaiga, Koga giving him a annoyed look. “WHAT?! There might be a hungry, blind, worthless demon in there waiting to devour us.” Inuyasha said the two continuing forward. About an hour later they found a cave pocket with a lake and an island in the middle of the lake. “What is this place?” Koga asked aloud. “The Fountain of youth?” Inuyasha joked receiving a glare from Koga. “Our home boys!” Came a deep strong and cold voice that was very familiar. “Huh? No it can’t be.” Inuyasha and Koga said in shock and in unison.
It has been a couple of months since Sorn had set out to look for Sesshomaru. “In here men this the cave.” Sorn said to the soldiers going into the same cave as Inuyasha and Koga did. “Sesshomarus scent is everywhere same with another scent. He has to be here, but whose scent is the other.’ Sorn wandered to himself seeing a light up ahead. “Huh? I thought we would find him dead though!” Sorn said as the person he was looking for stood in front of him Inuyasha and Koga off to the side. “Sorn where is Kagome?” the man asked. “She is at the castle Milord Sesshomaru. We need to hurry back though. “Why?” Sesshomaru asked not really concerned all that much if thinking Kagome wanted him to meet the kids and be tortured by playing with them 24/7.
“DADDY?!” Came a young male voice. “Huh? MARCUS? Your alive.” Koga said hugging his 10-year-old son. “Milord, we must hurry before it’s too late.” Sorn said once again. “WHY?!” Sesshomaru yelled annoyed he didn’t want to go back mainly because he was afraid Kagome hated him for leaving. “Because Kagome is being forced to marry Shinjitsai-Sama in two weeks. The elders ordered it if you are not there before she says I do then she has to marry him.” Inuyasha finished receiving the whole story from Rin before him and Koga left. “Then lets go kick a sorry lords ass!” Sesshomaru said growling at Shinjitsais name.
At the castle Kagome carried her newborn daughter not son her son Kino next to her to the gardens. “mommy do you have to marry that Lord?” He’s mean to us though.” The boy asked. “Hai id Kino. Even though I really don’t want to touching the bruise she received last night on her cheek. ‘Two more weeks until that dreadful day.’ Kagome told herself looking at the flower patch she was sitting in. “MOTHER!” Came a warm female voice. Kagome looked up to see Rin and her husband Kohaku. “Hello Rin. How are you?” Kagome asked as the two sat down. “We’re fine. He hit you again?” Rin asked all worried. And you’ve became very pale you need to eat more.” Rin said. “I know but I notice there is no use fighting anymore if he’s just going to kill me after the wedding.” Kagome said sadness in her eyes. Rin became worried and hoped Sorn returned with Sesshomaru soon.
With the others Koga carried a sleeping Marcus. “Sesshomaru to warn you Rin sent me. Not Kagome.” Sorn said. “Why not Kagome?” Sesshomaru asked halted from walking. “Because Kagome was afraid of being hit again by Shinjitsai. Rin became worried when Kagome stopped eating and didn’t get much fresh air.” Sorn explained Sesshomaru punching a tree growling. “Shinjitsai will lose his life from this disrespect.” Sesshomaru growled. “We’re a week away. How are we going to make it in time?” Inuyasha asked leaving everyone defeated. “KOGA!!!!” Came a angry female voice. “SHE FOLLOWED?!” Koga asked handing Marcus to Inuyasha. “Ayame why are you here?” Koga asked his wife. “Shinjitsai jumped the wedding to Tuesday…tomorrow. Kagome tried to argue to give you and Inuyasha time. I don’t know how she found out but he hit her in the end locking her, Kino and the new born girl Tiara in her room, but Sango opened it and now her and Rin are in there protecting the three…” Ayame paused when she heard Sesshomaru growl. “Huh? MOMMY!” Marcus yelled happily catching Ayames attention. “We’ll never make it unless we fly there.” Sorn said. “I have your answer…(WHISLTE).” Ayame whistled AhUn and two other dragons landing on the ground. Ayame, Marcus and Koga were on one dragon Sorn and the Soldiers were on another and Inuyasha and Sesshomaru were on AhUn. The group was soon on their way to the castle. At the castle on the wedding day Lords and Guests were starting to arrive. Sango helped Kagome cover the bruise. “(Sigh) I can see neither groups found Sesshomaru.” Kagome said trying not to cry.
