Chapter 2
|Sesshomaru's P.O.V|
I lived in that village for most of my life, but it had long since been discovered and destroyed by 'filth' as Lord Saito had called them, I was the only one to escape the attack, that I know of. "Lord Sesshomaru! Rin has something for you!" I heard the 'filth' that I had grown to love like, but she was young and could easily be steered from the human ways, "Hn?" I asked hned when she gave me a small bouquet of flowers, I took them snd gave her a small nod of thanks, as she scrambled on Ah-Un. 'Naomi' I whispered in my mind, she was one of my bestfriends in that village, well actually for a year or two she was my girlfriend, I remember I even laughed a few times when I was with her.
.:FLASHBACK:.
"Come on Sesshomaru!" she giggled "Yeah I'm coming!" I hollered at her, I was panting by the time I caught up with her, I was glaring at her... and she smiled!? "How dare you smile when I'm mad at you!" I shouted jokingly "Should I frown?" "Yes," she did frown at that "Nevermind you look much better with a smile," I said when she jump-hugged me "Haha, let me go!" I laughed trying to get her off of me, she ran off after giving me a peck on the lips, I would ran after her but i was to stunned my first kiss and right out of nowhere. I eventually did move, and found her sitting at the edge of a lake, I immediatly ran up to her and started a make-out session; we were young, wild, and didn't care what others thought, we stopped when we heard a sound from the village I was frantically trying to hide, scared it was her father. She ran back to the village and asked me to stay there incase it was Lord Saito.
.:END FLASHBACK:.
That was last time I saw her I sighed sadly, a little louder then I wanted. "M'lord, are you okay?" Jaken squeaked "It's nothing, just old memories." We walked on in silence for near and hour, when I smelled a strange and familiar scent, I couldn't believe my nose it was Naomi's scent! I ran off leaving Jaken and Rin in my dust, as I went further into the forest the scent got stronger, and another scent joined. The scent of demons rutting! I could feel my eyes widen "No," whispered to myself "She wouldn't," I shouted to the heavens as I was running, not on the ground but rather in the air.
I got to a clearing and it was her, Naomi was right there on the ground, covered in blood and other 'stuff' no other demon around just her, in tattered clothing, she was awake and a look on her face that would make you think she was guilty of hanus crime. I jumped down in front of her and almost instantly she fell on her knees "Do what you want, just don't kill me," she pleaded at my feet. I knelt down in front of her "Don't be foolish, Naomi." she looked up with a shocked look on her face "Who are you?" she asked gruffly, I guess she didn't recognize me "It's me; Sesshomaru," I decided not to use Lord she wouldn't recognize me by that term "Who?" How could she not remember? It had only been 6 years! "I'm sorry if I do know you, I don't remeber a thing before my 14 birthday," she apologized "Yea well, someone like you shouldn't be out all alone, why don't you come travel with me?" I asked "Uh, sure anything's better then here," she said willingly
