Chapter 3: You came back

Kouga wiped the tear that fell down his face. He always ended up thinking of Kagome. Especially today, today was the day she had left. Kouga cursed the seven hells and Inuyasha. But he knew he really couldn't blame the inu-hanyou. He was following his heart.

Ever since Kagome left, everything went back to normal…before she came. Well as normal as it can get. Miroku and Sango got married, had twins. The boy named Kouga and the girl named Kagome. Kouga was pleased when they named the boy after himself. Inuyasha wasn't though. He had a fit saying that they should have named it after himself. But all that caused Inuyasha was no SEX for a month, thanks to Kikyou. Kouga chuckled, life was somewhat good.

The Inu-hanyou and himself were on good terms, as good as it could get. And Ayame had forgiven him for not wanting to mate with her. She understood that he loved Kagome and still does. So she mated with his younger brother Koiichi. And had a baby boy named Yukito.

Even the Inu-hanyou had pups, 2 girls and 2 boys. Sesshoumaru and Rin had mated, and Rin was with pup at the moment. Shippou, Kagome's son had gotten himself mated. But his mate didn't want pups yet.

Everyone was happy. Everyone but him, his father tried countless times to get him mated to some of the nobles in the Eastern Lands where he was soon to take over. But Kouga rejected all of them, if they weren't Kagome then they were out of the question. He didn't care if he died without a mate, as long as Kagome wasn't in his life, then to bad for everyone else.

"Hey Kouga!" Koiichi called.

"What is it?" Kouga asked annoyed. He specifically asked that no one was to bother him today. It looked like Koiichi had other ideas for him.

"I smelt Kagome's scent. But there was something different about her," Koiichi said plopping himself down beside his brother.

"You smelt her scent?" Kouga asked shocked.

"Yeah, but there wasn't that normal ningen sweat based scent mixed there too," Koiichi said confused.

"Well, what was there then?"

"A demonic smell. Like an ookami," Koiichi said.

"Do you think she turned into a demon? That's why she didn't come back?" Kouga asked.

"I have no idea onii-chan," Koiichi said.

"Interesting…"

"So tell me again?" Kagome asked a very annoyed Shippou. Hime giggled.

"Okay, Ayame mated with Kouga's brother Koiichi, they have a son named Yukito,"

"But wasn't Ayame betrothed to Kouga?"

"Hai, but he didn't want to mate with anyone unless it was you," Hime said. That caused Kagome to blush. 'Did Kouga really care for her that much?'

"So, he refused to mate with Ayame?" Kagome asked.

"Yeah,"

"So who did he mate with?" Kagome asked curiously.

"No one. He made a huge declaration in front of all the people in Eastern Lands, that he wasn't going to mate with anyone if it wasn't you," Shippou said.

"How did you know this?" Kagome asked.

"I attended. Same with Miroku, Sango, their 2 kids, Inuyasha, Kikyou, their 4 kids, and Sesshoumaru and Rin. Also every noble there is. And all the Lords and Ladies of the Lands," Hime said.

"Wow," Kagome said. "Wait. Miroku, Sango, kids?"

"Yeah. Better believe it," Shippou said.

"What are the names?" Kagome asked curiously.

"Well, they have twins. One boy and one girl. The boy's name is Kouga, and the girl's name is Kagome," Shippou said smirking.

"Awwwww. That's so sweet! They named the girl after me!" Kagome said clapping her hands. Shippou sighed. They were currently on there way to Inuyasha's house. To tell him the news, next would be Miroku's and Sango's house. Then Sesshoumaru and Rin. Then Kouga. Everyone would be overjoyed to see Kagome again. Most likely each house they visited would make them stay. But that wasn't Kagome's goal. She wanted to tell them all in one day. Which was okay with himself and Hime.

"So what's Inuyasha's and Kikyou's kids names?" Kagome asked. "Ewww. Too many S's!"

"Well, from oldest to youngest it's…Touya, Syaoran, Mamoru, and Usagi. All full demons," Shippou said.

"Weird names if you ask me," Hime said.

"Oh what an idiot Inuyasha is!" Kagome exclaimed.

"Why?" Shippou asked confused.

"He got those names from Card Captor Sakura, and Sailor Moon!" Kagome cried.

"Come again?" Hime asked confused.

"Well, when Inuyasha came over to my house in the future, he would always watch these TV shows called Card Captor Sakura and Sailor Moon. Along with Yugi-Oh, Pokémon, Digimon, and Escflowne," Kagome explained.

"I see," Hime said.

"Yeah. Did Inuyasha name his kids?" Kagome asked.

"Yup," Shippou said.

"Well no wonder," Kagome said. Hime and Kagome broke out into a fit of giggles. Therefore causing them to stop. Shippou was annoyed. If they planned on travelling from the Western to the Eastern Lands in just a day, they better hurry up.

"We're not going to make it all in one day you know!" Shippou exclaimed throwing his hands in the air.

"Okay. We're calm now," Kagome said smiling.

"Good, let's go," Shippou said.

"She's not coming back is she?" Kikyou asked her mate.

"Have faith in her," Inuyasha said wrapping his arms around her.

"I do. Each day I pray to Kami that he would bring her back," Kikyou sighed.

"Don't worry. She's going to come back," Inuyasha said confidence evident in his voice. Though he didn't feel that sure himself.

"It's all my fault that she left," Kikyou said tears pricking in her eyes.

"No it's not," Inuyasha said.

"Yes it is," Kikyou said. "If I hadn't chosen to come back…."

"Don't say such things!" Inuyasha scolded her.

"I know it's just…" Kikyou trailed off.

"It's just what?"

"It's just that-" Kikyou didn't get to finish her sentence. For Inuyasha brushed his lips gently against hers. She felt his tongue trail on her bottom lip asking for entrance. Kikyou gladly opened her mouth, Inuyasha's tongue plunged into her mouth.

"Ewww! You guys, it's rude to make out in front of guests that are as special as myself!" Kagome said smirking. Shippou, Hime, and herself had just walked in on Inuyasha's and Kikyou's make out session.

"Go away Kagome, I'm busy," Inuyasha said. 'Wait was that Kagome?' Inuyasha turned around and looked into the sapphire orbs of his former lover.

"Kag…Kagome!" Inuyasha cried.

"That's my name!" Kagome said. Inuyasha ran over and embraced her in bear hug.

"Easy Inuyasha, I need to breathe!" Kagome said.

"Heh, sorry," Inuyasha said letting go of her. Kagome looked over at Kikyou who looked shocked.

"Where's my hug?" Kikyou asked recovering. Kagome was a bit reluctant to hug Kikyou, but did so anyways. Inuyasha sensed Kagome's reluctance, and frowned. He'd speak to her about it later. Wait a minute. 'What the fuck is up with her scent?'

"Kagome. Can you please tell me why you smell and look like an ookami youkai?" Inuyasha said frowning.

"Well I guess it's now or never," Kagome said. They led her and Shippou and Hime inside the hut. Kagome explained everything, about the boom from the well. How it wouldn't let her back to her own time in the feudal era. How she would have to wait for around a billion years for it to work and how she would be dead by then. Kaede telling her about the past 7 years, and that she was an ookami fate youkai.

Inuyasha was shocked, same with Kikyou. They were looking at Kagome as if she had gone mental.

"Freaky," Inuyasha finally said.

"You can say that again," Hime said.

"AND YOU INUYASHA!" Kagome began. Inuyasha gulped. This wasn't going to be good.

"Yeah?"

"Are you that idiotic that you can't think of a name for kids and name them from CCS and SM?" Kagome asked.

"Feh, I'm smarter then you think," Inuyasha said.

"What ever," Kagome said. "We should be leaving any ways,"

"Why so soon?" Kikyou asked.

"We have to tell Sango and Miroku, then Sesshoumaru and Rin, then Kouga," Kagome said.

"Well, were coming with you," Kikyou said.

"We are?" Inuyasha asked.

"Yes, go get the children," Kikyou instructed.

"Okay. Haven't travelled like this since the search!" Inuyasha said. And within minutes he found his kids. They all ran to Kagome happy that she was here and that their Uncle Kouga would be out of his depression.

"Okay, let's go," Inuyasha said with Kikyou on his back. They all ran, except Kagome. She used her wings, much to Usagi's envy.

"Kagome! Kagome?" Sango called frantically. Her daughter was no where to be seen.

"Kouga?" Sango called.

"Yes okaa-san?" Kouga asked.

"Thank god! Where's your sister?"

"Right here!"

"Oh thank Kami!" Sango said hugging both of her children.

"Did you find them?" Miroku asked.

"Yes," Sango answered.

"Praise you Buddha," Miroku said. Little Kagome started giggling.

"What's so funny Kagome?" Miroku asked.

"Me? I wasn't laughing," Kagome said.

"Not you Kagome-sama, my daughter," Miroku said.

"KAGOME?" Sango screamed. Kagome winced. Along with all the other demons. Sango jumped onto the younger girl. They fell over.

Once everyone calmed down, Kagome explained everything that happened in the past 24 hours. And once again they were off. But this time with Little Kagome on Kagome's back, and Little Kouga on Shippou's back. And Kirara was carrying her mistress and master.

They all went to Sesshoumaru's castle.

"Rin, we are expecting company," Sesshoumaru said.

"Who?" Rin asked curiously.

"You'll see. Come let's wait outside for their arrival. And we should have Jaken prepare Ah-Un," Sesshoumaru said.

"Why?" Rin asked.

"Too many questions koi," Sesshoumaru said smirking. Rin 'hmphed' and stalked off after her mate.

"Sesshou-kun, do you know what today is?" Rin asked quietly.

"Yes, 'tis the day that Kagome left our time," Sesshoumaru said putting his arm around her.

"Yeah. I miss her so much," Rin said softly.

"It's going to be okay soon," Sesshoumaru said. Not noticing the company that had just arrived.

"Awwww. That's so cute! I need a tissue!" Kagome said. Rin and Sesshoumaru broke the kiss they were sharing.

"KAGOME-CHAN!" Rin cried. She ran towards Kagome and hugged the life out of her.

"Kagome why do you smell like a youkai?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"Surprised you didn't forget to ask," Kagome said smiling.

"Explain," Sesshoumaru said, no more like ordered. Kagome sighed, and started explain, thinking to herself that this would be the second last explanation of the day. Once she was done, Rin begged to see her wings. Kagome gladly obliged.

"Well, we shall accompany you to your next destination," Sesshoumaru said.

"I'll go tell Jaken to get Ah-Un ready," Rin said.

"That is not necessary," Sesshoumaru said.

"Why not?"

"Because," Sesshoumaru said. And lifted Rin bridal style. Kagome giggled and everyone was off for the 3rd time that day. (A/N: It's around 2:00 there. So They'll be at Kouga's den around 6:00)

On the way to Kouga's den everyone was silent. Well besides Kagome and Little Kagome. They were talking all the way there.

"Hey boss!" Ginta called.

Kouga growled. "Yes?"

"We have a surprise for you!" Ginta said happily.

"What is it?" Kouga asked annoyed.

"Come see," Ginta said and walked off.

Kouga growled but followed anyway. They were out of the den and passed the water fall when he saw her. The only one he would ever love, Kagome.

"Kagome?" Kouga asked rubbing his eyes making sure that he wasn't day dreaming.

"Hey Kouga. Long time no talk ne?" Kagome said smiling.
