InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Time Heals All Wounds ❯ Fated Meeting ( Chapter 3 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Hi there it's me again!! I have a couple of things to say
To answer ladydeath31178's question, yes I do plan on Shippo coming into the story. I used Souten because it just seemed better to me and I needed some girl-on-girl rivalry. In fact, I plan on having most of the characters in the story. Maybe even Naraku ::Does evil cartoon laugh:: excuse me. =^^=
Also I dedicate this chapter to my first reviewer unistar and Meru for providing me with what I needed ::round of applause::
I own Inuyasha. ::Hundreds of lawyers appear from nowhere:: Okay maybe I don't!
“Oww! That hurts!” Souten yelled.
“Souten be still!” Kagome yelled back. She was trying to clean the cuts that got from the fight with some peroxide, but Souten was proving to be very difficult. “You wouldn't be in this situation at all if you wouldn't have been fighting.”
Souten sighed. She loved her mother dearly but the woman had a nagging disease. She knew it would be a long time before she heard the last of this. `And God forbid if Aunt Sango hears about this.'
As if someone read her mind, the phone began to ring and Kagome went to go answer it.
“Hello?”
“I've been knocking on the door and ringing the door bell for the last ten minutes!” the voice yelled.
“Alright, don't get your thong in a bunch I'm coming,” Kagome replied. She went and opened the door where she found a glaring Sango.
“It's about damn time! I was about to turn around and leave. And I don't wear thongs!”
Kagome rolled her eyes. “Oh shut up, the door bell doesn't even work. Plus I was upstairs cleaning up Souten.”
“Cleaning her up? Why? Did something happen?” Sango asked, worry evident in her tone.
“Nothing serious,” Kagome replied when she saw the worry etched onto Sango's face.
“Then why are you cleaning her up?” Sango asked.
Kagome sighed. “She got into another fight at the park. She was doing just fine too, Sango.” Souten actually had an anger management problem. It wasn't anything too serious but Kagome tried her best to keep Souten from acting on her anger. The girl had a very short fuse and would blow up on anyone that wasn't related to her or she didn't know.
“Well that's not anything to unusual, although she and I have to have a chat. So why are you so upset?” Sango asked.
“Because we had an agreement that she wouldn't get into any more fights. And the girl's father had to pull them apart. I was so embarrassed until he told he thinks his little girl had a hand in it. But still she shouldn't let some childish words get to her.”
“Well Kagome you can't expect her to never get in a fight ever again, look at her. She's the most independent, outgoing, short-tempered, and aggressive girl I know. Besides you weren't exactly the most perfect angel either. You had your share of fights when you were younger too,” Sango replied. Kagome was a very sweet person until you pissed her off. When you made her mad, everyone would go and duck for cover. She and Sango were very popular in school so it didn't help when someone would try and fight her for her status or for Hiten. It always resorted in a badly beaten girl and a suspended Kagome.
“Well I don't want her to be like I was. I want her to learn how to control her anger and not let every little girl or boy get to her!” Kagome complained.
“Well, just give her time Kags, time and patience,” Sango replied. She then went upstairs to have a talk with Souten.
“Hey Auntie Sango,” Souten greeted Sango when she walked through her bedroom door. The look on Souten's face meant that she knew she was about to get lectured.
“Hello Souten. Your mom told me what happened.”
“It wasn't my fault Auntie! She started with me first. She always starts with me first! She's nothing but a little conniving-”
“Whoa, whoa, WHOA! Who exactly is this `she'?”
“She is Shiori Takahashi and she is the most arrogant, self-absorbed, dumbest person I have ever met. Her dad is Inuyasha Takahashi and he owns almost half of Japan and spoils her freaking rotten. Everything she wants, she gets and she thinks she can do whatever she wants at school. She tries to pick on me and my friends everyday but we just won't have it. The day that happens is the day hel- heck freezes over.”
Sango quirked her eyebrows at her obvious save from cursing. “I see. So basically the reason why you don't like her is because she is very rude and prude.”
“Yes and not just that. She and her best friend Koharu always pick fights with me. They call me names like `Thunder Blunder' and `Red-Eyed Wench'. And they call Kanna names like `Ms. Oblivious' and `The Void Wench'. They are really mean and total bullies.”
“Yes from what you said they are really mean. But that still gives you no excuse for fighting. Sometimes you just have to ignore people and their ways. I know it can be really hard but in the end you will come out on top and they are sure to get in trouble. If you fight them back, then you can be sure that when they go down, you will go down with them. And besides, you made your mom a promise that there will be no more fighting. Your not gonna break your promise are you?”
Souten hung her head guiltily, “No I won't.”
“Okie dokie then. Now we are gonna ignore this girl and won't let her get to us right?”
“I'll try,” Souten replied.
Sango sighed. “That is as close that I'm getting to a yes I suppose. Come on lets get you cleaned up and then I want you to go to your room until we call you down for dinner. Your mother and I need to have a talk. Okay?”
“Okay Auntie. And thanks for the advice by the way.”
Sango gave her a small smile and began to clean up her scratches and put cream on her bruises. She then escorted Souten to her room and went downstairs to talk to her sister.
She found her in the kitchen starting on dinner, which she guessed would be spaghetti and meatballs from the ingredients she had out.
“Well I think I might have actually gotten through to her,” Sango told her.
“That's good. I knew you probably could. You always had a way with words,” Kagome replied.
“So, you met the infamous Inuyasha Takahashi,” Sango stated as she gave Kagome a knowing face.
Kagome blushed three shades of red. “Yeah I did. From what I can tell he's a pretty nice person.”
“Uh-huh I bet. So, is he hotter in person than he is in the magazines?”
“Sango! I wasn't even looking at him like that!”
“Yeah and I'm the queen of England. Come on Kags tell me,” Sango pleaded.
“Well, he has the most gorgeous eyes and he has a great body—not that I was looking!”
“I think somebody has a little crush,” Sango teased.
“I do not! I just met him a couple of hours ago so how can I have a crush?”
“The same way those idiots down at the club fall in love with you after performing for all of five minutes! Come on Kags, I'm your big sister and I have been knowing you for all the years of your life. I think that I can tell when you're lying to me, which by the way you are.”
Sango waited tables down the club that Kagome worked at. She already had a good paying job at the car lot she worked at, but she didn't trust Kagome working down there with all those drunks. That and their mother didn't want her youngest girl working at a place like that alone.
“The only reason why they `love' me is because they are perverts. Speaking of perverts, what's going on between you and that man that's comes to the club just about every night?”
“Oh you mean Miroku? Nothing is going on between me and him. He's just a dirty minded man who is gonna die if he touches any of my private areas ever again!” Sango exclaimed at the mention of the pervert.
“Well something must be up considering the fact that you know his name, Sangie,” Kagome teased.
Sango blushed. “The only reason I know his name is because he introduced himself before I found out he was a perv.”
“Most of the men down there introduce themselves too and you don't remember their names,” Kagome added slyly.
“Oh shut up! Are you almost done?”
Kagome quirked her eyebrow at the obvious topic change but let it go. “Yeah let me get the garlic bread out the oven and I'll be done.”
“Okay I'm gonna go get Souten then,” Sango replied as she left the room to go get her.
Kagome thought as she set the table. Sango really seem to like that guy, even though she didn't want to admit it. She had to like him. If anyone else would have groped her as much as he had they would be six feet under. The guy was nice but he just had a problem with keeping his hands to himself. He would always get kicked out of the club because he couldn't follow the `NO TOUCHING' rules. But he really was a nice guy.
She sighed as her thoughts drifted to work. It was now almost nine o'clock and she had to go in at eleven. Sango had the night off so she was going to watch Souten tonight. It wasn't that she hated the job, it was just she didn't like her boss, Bankotsu. He was a complete and utter asshole. The only people at that club that she considered decent were her friends Kagura, Jakotsu, and Ayame. Kagura and Ayame showed her the ropes when she first started and Jakotsu came along a couple of months after her. They were close to her as family and they always had her back.
Kagura was a wind demon and Kagome was closer to her because they were in a similar situation. She had a daughter named Kanna that was in the same class as Souten. Kanna was always quiet for some odd reason. The only person she would actually hold a conversation with was Souten. She had pale white skin with even paler hair that was cut to about her shoulders and grey eyes that were so dark that the almost seemed black. Kanna's father was abusive to both of them. One day Kagura had enough and ran away with Kanna. Now she worked at The Shikon with Kagome and the others to provide a living for her and her daughter.
Her thoughts were interrupted when Souten came in the dining room. “What's for dinner mom?”
“I thought I would go ahead and make your favorite: spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and a tossed salad,” Kagome replied.
“Alright!” Souten exclaimed while sitting at the table and stuffing her face.
“Souten, not everyone is sitting at the table and plus you haven't even said grace,” Kagome reminded her with a frown.
“Sorry mom,” Souten apologized with a sheepish smile.
Soon Sango came in and after they said grace, they began eating. When they were done, Kagome went to put Souten to bed as Sango washed the dishes. After taking a bath and brushing her teeth, Souten was soon fast asleep and Kagome went back downstairs to talk to Sango, who had already finished cleaning.
“Thanks again for watching Souten, Sango. I really appreciate it.”
“Anytime Kags. Are you sure you will be okay by yourself tonight?”
“Yes I'm sure and besides I won't be by myself. Kagura, Jakotsu and Ayame will be there too.” Kagome's eyes drifted over to the clock. “Well looks like I better get going so I won't be late. Call me if you need anything.”
“Okay I will and be careful,” Sango told her.
“I will. Bye!” Kagome called out as she walked out the door and to her car.
~*~*~*~
“Shiori what has gotten into you? You don't go around fighting in parks like that! What were you thinking,” Inuyasha scolded his daughter in the car on the way to their house.
“But daddy I don't like her. She goes around school saying mean things about me,” Shiori whined.
“Just because she says things about you doesn't mean you can just go around picking fights. And since when did you care about what people say about you?”
“I don't care. She's she ruining my reputation by telling everybody that I'm mean to her and her friends. She does it just to make me and Koharu look bad.”
“Well if you know she's doing it to make you look bad then why are you letting it get to you?”
“Because even some of the teachers are starting to think that I'm some spoiled brat with no morals!” Shiori yelled.
“First of all, I need you to lower your voice. And second, I don't think that the teachers believe that.”
“Ugh! But what else are they suppose to believe if that is all that those girls say about me?”
“The teachers will believe what they see for themselves. You are a bright, pretty and intelligent young lady with morals,” Inuyasha replied.
Shiori looked uncertain for a minute or two. “Are you sure that's what they see?”
“Positive.”
“Okay daddy. I won't let it bother me anymore. Much,” she added.
“That's my girl. Now let's go inside and wash up for dinner. I think Kaede might have made your favorite tonight.”
“She made spaghetti with meatballs? Yes!” Shiori then got out the car and zoomed into the house, leaving her father staring wide-eyed at her.
`Boy if I didn't know how much she liked that stuff I would seriously consider getting her put on some Ritalin' he thought.
When Inuyasha entered the house, Shiori was already sitting at the dining room table with a plate of spaghetti with meatballs and Texas toast in front of her.
“Daddy would you hurry up! I'm practically starving!”
“Oi, give me time. I didn't run in here like some people,” Inuyasha replied annoyed.
As soon as he was seated, Kaede came out with a two plates of dinner in her hand. She placed one in front of Inuyasha and one in front of herself. Kaede was thirty-three years-old, about five-foot three and had long black hair she kept in tied up at the base of her neck. She worked as a chef in Inuyasha's home and also was Shiori's baby-sitter when he needed one. Inuyasha was very found of his sister-in-law and still considered her family after the divorce.
“Hello Inuyasha and Shiori. How was your day at the park?” Kaede asked as soon as she was seated.
“It was okay,” Shiori replied quickly.
“Yeah except the part where she got into a fight,” Inuyasha replied when he saw her trying to sneak her way out of a scolding.
“You did what? Shiori Marie Takahashi you know better than that. You know that your father did not teach you to behave that way!” Kaede yelled at her. Shiori sighed and hung her head low. `Well so much for not getting yelled at' she thought as Kaede continued to rant.
~*~*~*~
Inuyasha had just put Shiori to bed and was about to do work on a court case he had, when the shrill of his cell phone reached his ears. Aggravated, he grabbed his phone off of his desk and answered it gruffly.
“What?”
“My, my, someone isn't in a good mood,” the voice replied.
“Shut it Miroku.” Miroku and Inuyasha had been the best of friends since high school. Miroku was the only person who could put up with Inuyasha's gruff attitude and Inuyasha was the only person that could put up with Miroku's lecherous behavior.
“Come on my friend, I was only joking. Let's go out tonight.”
“Sorry Miroku, I only like chicks,” Inuyasha replied with a smirk.
“Ha-ha, you are so funny,” Miroku replied sarcastically. “What I meant was let's go to a club or something. There's that new club The Shikon we could go to. Great place to pick up women by the way.”
“No thanks, I have work to do.”
“Work you can do tomorrow at the office. Come on you need a day off.”
Inuyasha gave an exasperated sigh. He knew Miroku was not going to give up. “Fine. I'll meet you there around eleven-fifteen.” And with that Inuyasha hung up the phone and attempted to get some work done before he left.
~*~*~*~
Kagome arrived there around eleven. When she parked her car and locked the doors, she went through the back door and headed towards the dressing room. She was scheduled to go on around eleven forty-five and needed to get dressed. When she entered the humongous room, she saw Kagura and Jakotsu getting dressed and Ayame putting on her make up.
“What's up girls!” Kagome yelled.
“Hey Kagome,” they all replied.
“Kagome, will you switch outfits with me? I want to go out as a little devil tonight,” Jakotsu asked Kagome.
“Sure. Let me wear your black and white outfit.”
“Okay no problem. Thanks,” Jakotsu replied as they switched outfits.
“So Kagome, what song you gonna dance to tonight?” asked Kagura.
“I was thinking that I would dance to TLC's Red Light Special,” Kagome answered her.
“Whoa Kags, why something so sexual?” the young wolf demon Ayame asked with a smug grin.
“Well from what I can tell by all the cars that are parked outside, there are a lot of people here tonight and I wouldn't mind making a little extra cash,” Kagome answered with a wink.
“Yeah I see what you're saying. Well you better hurry up `cause Bank moved you to the eleven-thirty performance,” Kagura informed her.
“What! Ugh he makes me so fucking sick! He can't do that! I outta go down there and give that piece of shit a peace of my mind, the no good—“Kagome ranted as everyone winced and got out of her way. They winced again when they heard the bathroom door slam as she went to get dressed.
“That, my friends, is the only girl that I am afraid of when she gets mad,” Ayame replied. The other girls nodded in agreement and went back to getting ready. They all looked up when she stormed out the bathroom, dressed and make-up applied, and put on her shoes, still ranting about Bankotsu. They all winced again as she slammed the door on her way out. “And she gets ready superfast,” Ayame replied. Once again the other girls nodded and went back to getting ready.
~*~*~*~
Inuyasha scowled as he sat at the table. Miroku wanted to sit at the table directly at the front of the stage and so far every stripper who knew who he was kept staring at him like he was Sunday dinner.
“Cheer up my friend. Surely you will find some girl you like in here,” Miroku commented. Inuyasha only grunted and took another sip of his wine cooler. It had been fifteen minutes and he had not seen one girl who caught his interest.
“And nowgentlemen, is the time you've all been waiting for. Here's is our most talented dancer. Introducing the one and only,Bam-Bam!”
As soon as she was announced, every man in that club rushed to the front. `What so special about this Bam-Bam girl?' Inuyasha thought to himself. His question was soon answered as he saw the young woman he met at the park earlier was revealed when the curtain was pulled back. `Oh my heavens, she's HOT!' He screamed in his head. She had on a white, long-sleeved button down shirt that's was barely button and a black tie that hung loose. She wore black boy-shorts as bottoms and had on fishnet stockings. She topped it off with white steeled high-heeled boots, with a skinny heel and came up to her knees.
She had a smug grin as she scanned her audience and Inuyasha almost pounced her when her gaze landed on him and she licked her lips.
~*~*~*~
Kagome was looking at the crowd when her eyes clashed with a pair of amber ones. `Oh my God. That's Inuyasha,' she thought. Their gazes remained locked until the music began to play and the words flowed through her as she began to sway her hips.
Take a good look at it
Look at it now
Might be the last time you'll
Have a go round
Look at it now
Might be the last time you'll
Have a go round
Kagome slid to the ground on her knees and began crawling towards the stage with a mischievous glint in her eyes. When she got to the edge, she did a graceful front flip off the stage and landed on the ground on the splits.
I'll let you touch it if you'd
Like to go down
I'll let you go further
If you take the southern route
Like to go down
I'll let you go further
If you take the southern route
She then began to grind her hips into the floor as she undid her tie. Men began to throw her money, as she grabbed it and slipped it into her boy-shorts. Once she had the tie undone, she got off the floor and headed directly towards Inuyasha.
Don't go too fast
Don't go too slow
You've got to let your body flow
I like 'em attentive
And I like 'em in control
Don't go too slow
You've got to let your body flow
I like 'em attentive
And I like 'em in control
She took the tie and wrapped it around Inuyasha's neck as she straddled him. She then began to give him a lap dance and she felt Inuyasha's hands wrap around her waist.
Baby it's yours
All yours
If you want it tonight
I'll give you the red light special
All through the night
Baby it's yours
All yours
If you want it tonight
Just come through my door
Take off my clothes
And turn on the red light
All yours
If you want it tonight
I'll give you the red light special
All through the night
Baby it's yours
All yours
If you want it tonight
Just come through my door
Take off my clothes
And turn on the red light
She then got off of him, took his hand, and led him to the stage, taking the money men held up to her as she passed.
I know that you want me I can
See it in your eyes
You might as well be honest 'cause the
Body never lies
See it in your eyes
You might as well be honest 'cause the
Body never lies
Once the got to the stage, she seated him in a chair that must have been brought out when no one was paying attention. She then turned her back on him and began taking of the shirt while swaying her hips. When she had it unbutton she left it open so everyone could see her lacy, black bra.
Tell me your secrets and I'll
I'll tell you mine
I'm feelin' quite sexy
And I want you for tonight
If I move too fast just let me know
'Cause it means you move too slow
I like some excitement
And I like a man that goes
I'll tell you mine
I'm feelin' quite sexy
And I want you for tonight
If I move too fast just let me know
'Cause it means you move too slow
I like some excitement
And I like a man that goes
She turned back to Inuyasha and began dancing in front of him. Suddenly, she turned around and sat on him and began to give him a lap dance. Inuyasha grabbed her around the waist tightly and began to dance back.
Baby it's yours
All yours
If you want it tonight
I'll give you the red light special
All through the night
Baby it's yours
All yours
If you want it tonight
Just come through my door
Take off my clothes
And turn on the red light

All yours
If you want it tonight
Just come through my door

She then kicked her boots to the side and did a serious of leaps and turns, her shirt flying up now and than to reveal her bra that barely contained her breasts. She then slid to the ground and began to thrust her hips in a sexual motion causing the men to throw out all the money they had.
If you want me
Let me know it
I'll make time but
You've got to show it
If you need me
I want to see
But don't mistake me
I don't want you down on your knees
I need someone a real man
I need someone who understands
I'm a woman a real woman
I know just what I want
I know just who I am
Let me know it
I'll make time but
You've got to show it
If you need me
I want to see
But don't mistake me
I don't want you down on your knees
I need someone a real man
I need someone who understands
I'm a woman a real woman
I know just what I want
I know just who I am
Inuyasha just about lost his mind when she began thrusting her hips. She then got off the ground, letting her shirt fall to the ground and moved forward to him. She straddled him and began wildly grinding on him wildly.
Baby it's yours
All yours
If you want it tonight
I'll give you the red light special
All through the night
Baby it's yours
All yours
If you want it tonight
Just come through my door
Take off my clothes
And turn on the red light

If you want it tonight
I'll give you the red light special
All through the night
Baby it's yours
All yours
If you want it tonight
Just come through my door
Take off my clothes
And turn on the red light
As the song ended, Kagome the unthinkable and leaned over and kissed him lightly on the lips. The lights then stage lights then cut off and the curtain dropped leaving the two of them.
Kagome then abruptly got up with a blush staining her cheeks. She led him to the door that went back to the audience and let him out. Inuyasha, too shocked to day anything, looked at Kagome and gave a small smile as she closed the door.
When he came back to the table, Miroku had a grin that could almost split his face. “I knew you would enjoy yourself, my friend.”
“Keh, lets go,” Inuyasha replied and the left the club, but not without Inuyasha giving one last glance at the stage.
~*~*~*~
`Oh my God I can't believe I did that!' Kagome thought as she headed back towards the dressing room. When she got there, she was greeted by applause from the girls, who saw the show from backstage.
“Wait to go Kags!” Jakotsu squealed.
“Yeah Kags wait to go! That's how you seduce the famous Takahashi!” Kagura yelled.
Kagome blushed and went to go dress back into her clothes for waitress. A woman came to bring her the clothes she discarded and the money she left on the stage. As she went through it, a white, folded piece of paper fell from the stack. Curious, Kagome open and was blushing again when she read it.
Nice performance Miss Higurashi or should I say Bam-Bam. I would love to hear from you sometime. My number is 577-1017. Call me
Inuyasha.
Kagome let a small smile grace her face and stuck the note in her purse. `Looks like I got more than a little extra cash.'
