The gunshots were deafening to Kagome's ears, even though she was wearing the ear protectors. The force behind the bullet still surprised her. She was shooting off rounds in the shooting range that Sesshoumaru offered. Hojo had told her it was built below the whole facility. Kagome believed it the place was huge. Even though it had been two weeks she still wasn't done exploring everything and some places she wasn't even allowed to be. She had been there for a while, trying to get her aim better. It was okay. She could hit a really big guy a couple feet away but it was nothing compared to Yura.

The girl was firing rounds off like it was nothing and getting most in the center. She looked so comfortable holding the weapon. It was just her and Yura practicing. Kagome had no idea what time it was, there were no clocks and she had no watch. All she knew was that it was after school when she got to the hideout.

Kagome was concentrating very hard. She wanted to be good at this; it could be the thing that saved her life someday. She was about to shoot off another bullet when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She whirled around still holding the gun up.

Yura starred back at her with a surprised look on her face and her hands up, "DON'T DO THAT!" she yelled.

Kagome put down the gun and slid off her ear protectors, "Don't sneak up on a person with a gun!" she retorted.

"I was just going to ask if you want something to drink. I'm getting something." Yura asked. She was actually quite nice, when Kagome wasn't in her way. The thing was, was that Kagome was in Yura's way a lot. It was like the girl had double personalities or something. Kagome could ignore the bitchy side of Yura if it wasn't her more prevalent side.

Kagome shook her head and turned back to her shooting while putting on her ear protectors. Yura left leaving Kagome alone. Kagome preferred not being alone anywhere in that place. When there was no one around the silence got to her. Silence could get really bad and she would feel like screaming. The carpets upstairs killed any noise a person might have made walking.

There was no carpet down here. A person couldn't sneak up on her, unless they got her while she was firing. She was concentrating still trying to make the center. She was almost close only an inch or two more. She was focused on her shooting but not so focused that she didn't notice the body that pressed itself against her. Kagome gasped and dropped her gun in surprise. She spun around to be faced with Naraku's smirking face.

Kagome had gotten to know almost everyone at least by name, except for Naraku. Kagome had made a conscious decision to stay away from him. He always seemed just so greasy and perverted. Always leering at her, like it was his permanent face. He hadn't tried anything with her because she was always with someone or someone was close by that all she had to do was yell and they would be there. But not right now. She was the only one downstairs, and the place was soundproof so the gunshots wouldn't annoy anyone.

"What do you want?" she was trying not to sound afraid. She didn't know anything about him. She had asked Yura and Hojo and they said he was perfectly fine. But Kagome didn't quite believe them. She had also asked if he was human. They just gave her an idiotic smile and said "duh." But she didn't believe that either. Something in her told her he wasn't human, at least part of him.

"You know Kagome I really think we should know each other better. Don't you agree?" he asked. His voice was smooth but he was too scary for her to fall for it.

She shook her head, "Yea. Fine let's go upstairs." It was the only thing she could figure out to get him to stop leaning on her. He pressed on her even harder and she could feel his fingers sliding up her leg. She tried to control her breath.

"No. Maybe we could start right now. Here." He said sternly. Kagome started pushing on him to get off of her. He wouldn't budge. He was bending down to kiss her and she turned her head. *Where is my gun when I need it?*

She could feel his dick pressing against her. *Eww. I will not be raped.* The tiny cubicle of room was beginning to suffocate her. Pushing him wasn't going to work. Her mind was racing for some solution. She could feel his breathe as he sniffed her. *What is with the sniffing?*

Suddenly he let go and stepped away from her. She was surprised. *Huh?* He bent close to her and whispered, "I'll get you next time Kagome." His voice made her skin crawl. He was taking another step from her when Yura appeared. Kagome never thought she would be so relieved to see the girl.

Yura gave her a peculiar look as Kagome pushed by Naraku and pulled her by the arm upstairs. Yura could see the fear in Kagome's eyes.

"What's wrong?" Yura asked. She had never seen Kagome so stirred up. "Why was Naraku down there?"

Kagome stopped pulling Yura and looked around to make sure they were alone before answering her in a quick whisper, "Naraku he was trying to take advantage of me."

Yura's eyes widen in surprise. Kagome nodded her head and pulled the girl closer to the garage. She just wanted to get out of there. She knew she didn't want to go home, Souta was gone he had some new club thing. She didn't like being home unless absolutely necessary.

As they sat in the car, Kagome became very quiet. She didn't really want to talk about because then she would remember what it felt like. Him on her. She felt a shudder pass thru her. Yura kept on glancing at her.

"So. What happened?" Yura asked anxiously.

"He tried to rape me. That's what happened." Kagome said sternly.

"Are you sure?" Yura questioned. Kagome looked at her like she was stupid, "Well maybe you gave him a sign or flirted with him or something." She said sheepishly.

"How is minding my own business 'sending a sign'?" Kagome was mad. How dare Yura not believe her? Now she wanted to get of the car. She needed to think.

"I mean Naraku? He usually keeps to himself."

"Well he didn't keep to himself when he touched me." Kagome said angrily. "Stop here." She said suddenly. They were a block from Keade's shop. She quickly got out and slammed the door. Before she could walk away, Yura leaned over and said, "Kagome Naraku has been here longer then you. Sometimes this stuff isn't unusual. Just deal with it. He's been here longer then you."

Kagome could not believe what she just heard. She stalked away without replying, she heard the car pull away. She sighed, *Why is this happening?* She walked into Keade's shop, already knowing what she wanted. What always made her feel better. Cookie dough ice cream.

"So what are you having them do now?" Miroku asked.

"They're just scouting some guys who owe us money right now." Inuyasha answered. They were on their cells discussing their newest member, Souta. Inuyasha wanted to break the kid in easy. So for now he was just looking with Shippou for some guys that owed money. It wasn't like this assignment was unimportant the guys owed 10K. He wanted to see what the little kid's skills were.

"Do you like him?" his friend asked. Miroku had yet to meet Souta. Miroku didn't much concern himself with the newbies unless they were female and cute. Inuyasha thought that was idiotic because the way he saw it there always had to be a foundation.

"I wouldn't have asked if I didn't." Inuyasha was headed towards his favorite ice cream shop. Kikyo said she wanted some for 'later'. The suggestion was clear and made him smile.

"It also doesn't hurt that his sister is in the Demons." Miroku said laughingly. "Have you figured out what you're going to do?"

"No. But I have time to think about it." When Inuyasha thought about it. He would have asked Souta regardless if his sister was in the rival gang. He just wouldn't admit it though. Inuyasha had made it clear to the kid that he couldn't tell anyone. Souta had said that he told his sister that he had joined a club at school. *Stupid girl.*

"Are you going to get those plans?" Inuyasha asked. Miroku was the computer geek and got them floor plans and almost any type of plan to anything public from the city records. They needed the plans for a job they were going to do on a shrine across town. The outline was to pull it sometime in the next two weeks if they ever got all their supplies.

"Yea yea I will. Don't worry. I just don't see why a shrine. Don't you feel it's even just a bit wrong? You know how mad Sango got when I told her?"

"It doesn't matter what she thinks. If she doesn't like it then she doesn't need to be there. I don't need her for this one." Inuyasha said indignantly.

Miroku just sighed and said, "Don't worry about Inuyasha. I'll see you later."

"With the plans." It was more of an order then a question. Miroku got that and hung up.

Inuyasha was almost to the shop. While he drove his mind wondered to the new recruit and his sister. *I wonder what she would say if she found out?* She didn't seem like the kind of girl who just accepted things. He still remembered her scent; in fact he recalled it every time Souta was around him. *I wonder I I'll see her again. Probably, I do know where she lives and I will seeing Souta.* The thought brought a smile to his lips.

He parked in front of the little store and got out. All his thoughts of the two disappeared as he tried to remember what Kikyo wanted. *Cookie dough ice cream.* He, personally, preferred chocolate but whatever his lady wanted.

He walked and smiled as he spotted a raven-haired girl. *Kagome.*
