Chapter 1
Life was peaceful and there were plenty of fun-filled days and good times for all members of the group. Inuyasha had given his plan a lot of thought; he spent quite a long time figuring out every move and exactly what words he needed to say when the moment called for the correct response. He was ready to put his plan into action.
Inuyasha had grown accustomed to her wonderful ways; the cute idiosyncrasies, moods, likes and dislikes. He smiled to himself at the memories that came flooding back. He wanted her to be a more permanent part of his life, and so he set out to make this a reality.
Inuyasha had acclimatized himself to Kagome's timeline. He had undertaken countless journeys back and forth, and felt confident he understood it reasonably well. He needed to speak with Kagome's mother as soon as possible.
Inuyasha had taken pains to come up with a plausible excuse to travel through the well once more. He told everyone including Kagome that he was going hunting and would be back soon.
Inuyasha chuckled to himself; Kagome had no idea what he was planning, but The others new what he was up to and smiled conspiratorially as he made ready for his trek.

Inuyasha sat with Kagome's mother and discussed his intention to marry her daughter. She had given him advice on how to ask Kagome to be his wife. She surprised Inuyasha by taking him to a jeweler to select a ring. Inuyasha felt guilty because he didn't have money, but Kagome's mother was a kind and loving woman and simply smiled. She explained the fact they'd planned for their children's weddings well in advance. She also understood Inuyasha's situation regarding the money side of things, and re-assured him it was okay as she only wanted them to be happy.
Inuyasha was very grateful to her; he had grown to love Kagome's family as his own. After Inuyasha's return; he immediately made preparations for his proposal to Kagome. He wanted it to be a special day for them both. He even managed to co-opt the others to help out.
Kaede prepared the food; Sango picked up one of Kagome's bags and some blankets and took these items to the appointed location. Sango dragged Miroku along to help out and began to set everything in place. The food had been arranged perfectly, and it was a veritable banquet. They winked at one another and slapped their palms together laughing uproariously. They were overjoyed their closest friends were soon to make a deep commitment to one another. Sango picked some flowers and arranged them beautifully upon the blanket. They stood surveying the scene.
"Quite romantic don't you think?" Sango asked winking at Miroku.
"Its perfect, Sango!" Miroku replied smiling as he took in everything before turning back to the others.
Satisfied, they headed back to the village.
'Kagome is going to just simply adore this ... she'll be so happy ... I wish I could see the expression upon her face when he brings her here and proposes ... it's truly romantic!' Sango thought to herself. Little did she know that Miroku also had plans of his own concerning her and simply smiled as they turned for home.

Kagome was in Kaede's hut reading a book with Shippo lying in her lap. No matter how old the fox demon became, he still loved the way Kagome stroked his hair. Inuyasha stood in the doorway when Kagome's eyes met his.
"Excuse me, Kagome ... may I have a word with you please?" he asked framing her image in his mind as she sat like a princess before him.
"Yes you may, Inuyasha ... what about?" she asked in a curious tone.
"Let's take in some fresh air and stretch our legs and enjoy the sunshine," he invited smiling down at her, and without hesitation she climbed to her feet like an awakening goddess.
She took his hand and they left the hut as Shippo winked at Inuyasha seconds before they stepped through the entrance to the hut.
"I packed us a picnic lunch ... as you call it in your time, so tell everyone we won't be back until dinner," Kagome's eyebrows arched slightly in both amusement and puzzlement, but nodded and left to inform the others of their plans.

Kagome walked casually towards Inuyasha who stood by the riverbank admiring the graceful movements of her body as she approached.
"Inuyasha, what's going on?" she asked sensing he was up to something. She folded her arms beneath her breasts in that way Inuyasha loved so much; it was all he could do to keep himself from losing his self control as he dragged his eyes to her smiling face.
"You'll see," He smiled secretly.
They walked a ways' before eventually arriving at their destination. Kagome knew this place well; it was where she had first met Inuyasha and Kagome smiled.
"It's our tree, Inuyasha!" She said linking her arm through his. Then she noticed the beautiful picnic food and drink that had been carefully set out for just the two of them to enjoy. Inuyasha was pleased with her enthusiasm.
'I will have to thank Sango and Miroku for doing such a fantastic job setting everything up, and they've really outdone themselves!' he thought while he held Kagome's hand and led her to the blanket and she sat comfortably. Inuyasha then handed her the flowers.
"These are for you Kagome my love, I hope you like them!" he said his eyes full of love for her.
"The flowers are beautiful Inuyasha, thank you," She said as she held the delicate blooms to her nostrils while breathing in their heady scent.
As they ate there meal; they reminisced about their first meeting and everything since. They had been through so much together; it felt good to just relax and enjoy the moment.
Kagome finally had to ask.
"Okay ... Inuyasha, what's this all about, we're under our tree ... you planned a wonderful picnic, and given me flowers, so spill or I'll sit you!" She said her gaze fixed on his face.
Inuyasha was stunned; she hadn't sat him in years, but he knew it was time to give her his surprise.
"I wanted to spend some time alone with you that's all," He started.
"That can't be all. Please talk to me," Kagome was beginning to get worried.
Inuyasha grabbed Kagome's waist and pulled her gently into his lap. He looked deeply into her eyes.
"Kagome, we've been together a long time now ... You know I love you more than anything in this world," He said taking her hands in his.
"Of course I know that Inuyasha; ... you're beginning to scare me ... please tell me what's wrong," She said squeezing his hands firmly.
"From the moment I first laid eyes on you, I knew you were special ... we have had our fair share of ups and downs, but we've always overcome these obstacles. You've changed my life more than you could imagine ... you're a part of me ... that missing piece of my heart!" He said sincerely.
By this time Kagome was in tears as she listened to the most beautiful words coming from the man she loved.
Inuyasha gently pulled her to her feet. He kissed her gently upon the lips, and then knelt upon one knee and took her hand and looked deeply into those eyes he loved so well.
"Kagome, I love you, and I want to be with you forever," He said smiling as the love light in his eyes struck an answering note in Kagome's heart.
He produced the ring and placed it on Kagome's ring finger. Kagome's eyes shone so brightly while her mouth opened to speak, but she was unable to. Kagome couldn't believe he was actually proposing. Inuyasha took Kagome's hands in his then spoke.
"Kagome will you be my wife?" he asked smiling as more tears poured from Kagome's eyes.
"Yes Inuyasha ... a thousand times yes! ... I would love to be your wife!" She laughed flinging herself into his arms.
"I love you Kagome!" He said with a joyous heart.
" ... And I love you too Inuyasha!" She said
as they began kissing before they fell to their knees upon the soft thick blanket. They were as happy in one another's arms as they made love under their tree making it extra special. It was the place where she would become his bride. The two lovers stared into one another's eyes, for their love and happiness was written in their gaze. After they were spent; they drifted into a peaceful sleep.

Miroku and Sango were returning to the village when Miroku stopped by the lake; he met Sango's eyes as she too slowed and stood with him on its verdant banks and looked at him quizzically.
"What's wrong Lord Miroku? Are you okay?" she said as her eyebrows danced.
"Yes, I'm fine Sango. I was just thinking about Kagome and Inuyasha, and how happy she probably is right now," He mused half in thought.
"I envy her; she will be with the man she truly loves forever," He sighed bending to pick up a pebble and threw it into the lake.
Miroku couldn't help but smile, for Sango had a dreamy look in her eyes.
'She's so beautiful,' he thought to himself, 'I love her so much,'
then before he thought about what he was doing He took Sango's hands and pulled her close. Sango was a little startled by his actions, but she wasn't about to complain. Miroku looked into her loving eyes, and then pledged his love for her.
"Sango, I want to make you as happy as Inuyasha makes Kagome ... I love you more than any woman I've ever known. I know I haven't taken our relationship seriously over the last few years we've been together, but being with you has taught me how to truly love and how to reciprocate. You have changed my old ways dramatically and I love you all the more for putting up with me for so long!" He said stroking her hair.
Sango stood there entranced not knowing what to say. She simply allowed herself to melt as she cried in his arms.
"Miroku, you have changed so much... you know, I think I've always loved you no matter how perverted you were, for I knew underneath that licentious exterior was something far more valuable ... I knew you were special," She said smiling while looking at him with eyes brimming with crystalline tears.
He smiled at that little remark.
"You haven't mentioned that in years ... why bring it up now?" he asked with a heart felt chuckle before his expression changed to one of deep emotion. "I just want you to know I'm committed to you, and only you. If you'll have me, I would love to be your husband,"
Sango was so happy. Once she'd found out what Inuyasha had planned; she was hoping Miroku would take the hint and do the same. Sango was elated for he had done just that and she was so happy.
"Lord Miroku, I would love to be your wife!" She said smiling as they embraced.
Miroku looked lovingly into Sango's eyes and gently brushed his lips upon hers. Sango responded to the kiss whole heartedly, for she knew with certainty she had found her mate. Finally, they broke the kiss, not because they wanted to, but for lack of air.
"May I have you?" He asked a little uncertainly.
He looked pleadingly into her eyes hoping she would say yes, but he would understand if she said no.
"Yes Miroku, you may!" She said huskily.
Miroku closed the gap that lay between them as invisible sparks arced between their bodies once more and embraced her.
"I love you Sango,"
"And I you,"
Miroku took off his robe and placed it upon the ground; he gently took Sango in his arms and laid her against the soft fabric of his robe. Miroku could tell she was scared.
"I promise I will be gentle, Sango. This is my first time also!" He said in an adorable boyish manner.
Sango's eyes almost popped out of her head.
"What, but the way you act... I just assumed you had many women!" She said as her beautiful eyes doubled in size in an instant at this unexpected revelation.
Miroku began to blush a crimson red; he was truly embarrassed. Sango pulled him towards her, and their noses touched as she grinned mischievously at her love.
"I'm glad we're sharing our first time together!" she said seductively and she kissed him deeply as their tongues danced with one another as their pleasure grew.
Miroku began undressing her; he palmed her soft breasts and lightly circled her nipples with his fingertips. Miroku trailed a series of kisses over her face, neck and kissed her breasts before placing one of her warm breasts into his mouth while caressing the other. Sango's soft moans excited him as he took her other breast in his mouth whilst his hands explored her secret places sending shivers of desire throughout her body.
Miroku massaged her gateway of love and life; he carefully ran his fingertips over her vulva then moved inside her floral depths yielding to his sensual ministrations. He worked his love magic inside her well of ambrosia; she yelped with ecstatic pleasure as her body responded to his secret kisses and his sensual touch. He began rhythmically to massage her walls of love slowly. Sango's floral core felt so warm and wet to the touch; he almost lost it then and there. Sango began to move her hips in that primordial dance lovers have known since the dawning of time as her passion rose like an erotic tsunami. Miroku's excitement heightened whilst watching and listening to Sango's lover's song. Miroku couldn't hold out any longer; he needed her now. Miroku removed her remaining clothing and gently knelt between her moisten thighs, he slid his hands beneath her behind and she stroked his manhood and guided him inside her open flower as he sunk deep within her and moved gently within her wonderful depths.
She kissed him once more as their bodies moved in concert.
"Oh god!" he cried ecstatically. "You're so warm and tight!" He said in awe of her womanhood.
Miroku decided to increase the rhythm of their lovemaking; he wanted her to get used to the movement of his hardness within her before he broke the barrier that would end her girlhood and make her a woman. Miroku sensed the moment was about right, and he looked lovingly into her eyes seeking her ascent, and she nodded.
"I'm sorry, Sango my love," He cried, and with that thrust his hips and he broke her hymen. Sango let out a small scream, and began to cry and clung to her lover as he soothed her with soft endearments and re-assured her the worst was over and the best was yet to come. Miroku kissed her pain away and began to pick up his rhythm once again.
Sango's pain began to subside, and was replaced by a burning passion and overwhelming explosion of love for her man.
Sango moved her hips in sync with Miroku's. She wrapped her legs around him, and arched her back drawing him deeper within her. It was this that did it for Miroku; he thrust harder and felt himself move even deeper inside her. Sango screamed out his name as she reached her climax as he too felt himself explode inside her. The experience was rapturous for them both, for they had no idea how wonderful love making could be.

Miroku lay on his side and covered them with his robe. They whispered soft endearments to one another as Sango ran her hands threw his hair and he drew his index finger along her spine sending shivers throughout her already highly charged body. He caressed her breasts as he lay behind her as she sighed with the pleasure of his subtle touch as they basked in the afterglow of their loving.
"Are you okay, my love?" he asked smiling down at her peaceful expression as he leant upon an elbow looking over her shoulder
"I am fine Miroku ... It was wonderful!" She said and opened her eyes and looked at him, "I love you, Miroku," She said smiling.
"And I love you too, Sango," He replied as he slipped his arms about her waist.
They were completely spent; she snuggled against his chest smiling contentedly. He kissed her on the back of her neck, and soon they fell into a deep restful sleep. Sango dreamt about how happy their lives had become with a contented smile upon her lips.
