By time Inu Yasha arrived at the village Kagome was already long gone. He ran through the door to where Miroku and Sango were quietly talking. Shippo still lay asleep, ignorant to Kagome's abduction. Kirara had finally returned and was ready for the journey ahead. The monk and demand slayer stopped talking and looked up at Inu Yasha. "What happened? Where's Kagome?" Inu Yasha asked, well, more liked yelled.

"Kouga came to see Kagome and took her while we lay sleeping." Sango answered, looking back at the monk. "We better go now. Kirara! Do you mind holding Kagome's bag?" Kirara moved in a way to show she didn't mind at all.

"Why did you let Kouga near Kagome?" he screamed louder than before. "You should have known that mangy wolf would have taken Kagome, and why did you fall asleep?"

"Inu Yasha" Miroku stood up and walked to a slightly more that pissed Inu Yasha. "Kagome needed to see somebody who loves her when she wakes up."

"Huh?" Inu Yasha's grew huge. "Loves her?" (Surprised jealously look)

"Yes that's right. He would have made her feel better after what you did"

"Listen monk"

"Come on Miroku" screamed Sango, holding the bundle of fir that made up Shippo, who was still sleeping.

"Coming, look you stay here, we will retrieve Kagome"

"In your dreams! I'm coming!"

"Why is it that you care anyhow Inu Yasha, you have Kikyo, go to her. Kagome will be fine, Kouga would never hurt her." He looked down with a grin on his face, trying to get a rise out of him. Inu Yasha has never looked so pissed… "After all, why would Kagome want to see you? You were trying to help Kikyo, while she was trying to kill kagome." He does his fake thinking face while putting his hand on his chin. "As a matter of fact it seems as if you wanted her to die"

"I WASN'T HELPING KIKYO, I WAS TELLING HER TO GIVE BACK…." He paused in anger… "Who cares, I'll find kagome, without your help!" he turns and runs full force back into the forest.

"Miroku? What did you say to him?" Sango asked while on top of Kirara.

"Just that he wanted kikyo to kill kagome…or that's what it seemed like, from kagome's perspective at least." They both look forwards the direction he ran "he took it better than expected"…

"Come on Miroku, let's follow!" He climbs on behind her. They ride off.

A few hours run north was Kouga's den, but he wasn't going to go there… he knew that it reeked of the sent of wolf and didn't want his precious kagome to wake up in that. Instead he took her a little way down stream to a cliff, to watch the sun rise, hoping she'd wake up to see it.

A few hours went by and the sun just started to rise over the horizon. Kagome moaned in pain as her eyes flickered. He looked at her with wide eyes, she was just so beautiful, he could no longer resist. Kouga still held kagome like a baby, gazing at her, hoping she would wake any moment. Kagome let out another moan and placed her arms around his neck. Kouga leaned in for a kiss. His lips finally met hers as he closed his eyes. Her lips were so soft.

She started to kiss back as her eyes slowly opened. Inu Yasha? She thought right as inu yasha ran up beside them…witnessing for himself this kiss. Kouga pushed his tongue into her mouth, kagome excepted as she opened her eyes to see that it wasn't Inu Yasha. She jumped out of Kouga's arms to see Inu Yasha standing not ten feel from them, in complete shock and horror. As she stared at him, not sure what to say, he just whispered "traitor".

Kagome pushed herself up on her knees. "What do you care?!?! You have your Kikyo! Why don't you just run off to her…you already proved that you wanted her to kill me. So just go!" she screamed as loud as she could.

"Who me? I was trying to protect you" he screamed in defense.

"It didn't look like you were protecting me…you were all over her!" she cringed at the thought of it.

Her eyes darted open "SIT BOY!!!" she screamed, leaving Inu Yasha in a three foot hole.

"Why you!"

"SIT!" she screamed again, trying to get up but falling back to the ground. Kouga, who was enjoying this argument, ran to her side. She was obviously too weak. Tears rolled down her face. "You should have just killed me yourself" She put her face in Kouga's chest and cried.

"See was you did mutt face!" Kouga screamed…you made her cry…" Inu Yasha looked up pissed "and what is this about my woman dying?" he screamed.

"Stay out of this wolf boy!" he screamed back… "You weren't there, you don't know."

"SIT!" she screamed again. "YOU WERE BY KIKYOS SIDE….WITH YOUR ARMS AROUND HER WILE I WAS Dying…" She cried more "I would have died if not for the thought that maybe I would seek my revenge…i will not for give you!" she tried to get up again, but fell back.

"kagome!" he stared right into her eyes, sad and miserably "I was not trying to kill you, or aid Kikyo in doing such, but I was telling her to give back your soul"

Kagome didn't budge.

"She doesn't believe your lies!" screamed Kouga. He picked her up and carried her to his den. "Let's go home kagome!" he said to her…

"Ok Kouga"

He smiled and Inu Yasha looks as if he was going to cry. "See mutt face, she's rather be with a real man! She doesn't need to waste any more on shit like you!" he tuned and walked toward the cave. He wanted Inu Yasha to suffer…watching them walk way…slowly. He smiled.
