Chapter 14

An Emptiness Filled

"I can't believe this! What the fuck were you doing while Kagome was falling?" Inuyasha yelled.

"We were trying to protect ourselves from the wolves." Miroku said. He knew Inuyasha was just mad that Kagome was away.

"Why don't you go find her instead of whining about it?" Sesshomaru finally spoke up tired of Inuyasha's babbling.

Inuyasha glared at his half brother and left the room. As much as he hated to admit it he was right. He needed to find Kagome before that wimpy wolf did something. What if he really did give her to Naraku?

Not wanting to think about it Inuyasha grabbed anything he needed and left. The longer Kagome was with Kouga the angrier he got. Not to mention he was worried about her. He didn't want to even leave her alone for a second. They were having fun before Kouga had interrupted.

Kagome woke up the next morning with something breathing beside her. She sat up quickly not recognizing who it was. It was Kouga. She had tried to stay up all night not wanting something to happen while she was sleeping.

Kouga woke as soon as he felt her movement. He yawned, showing his fangs and sat up. "So your awake. I'll go hunting to get some food." Kouga smiled and sat up. "Come on you lazy wolves!"

Kagome watched as the wolves in the den left to go hunting with Kouga. Now was her chance to escape. She waited until she was sure they were all gone. After she made it outside she figured she would just run in any direction. She didn't care where.

She peeked in front of the waterfall and saw a single wolf standing outside. A bird that kept flying nearby distracted him. Kagome walked from behind the waterfall and broke into a run. The wolf heard her footsteps and yelled at her to stop. Being a wolf he was much faster than Kagome and caught up to her quickly.

Kagome screamed and tried to fight her off. Panicked Kagome held out her hand on instinct and shot a beam of white light towards him. He was thrown back and Kagome fell to the ground amazed at what she had just done.

"I thought I told you not to touch her." Kouga yelled from behind Kagome.

Kagome cringed at the sound of his voice and knew she wasn't going to get away now. Kouga jumped down from the cliff he was standing on and lifted Kagome up. "Miko." He said. "Take care of the hunting. I'm sure you can do it on your own."

The wolves nodded and left. The one that was hit with Kagome's powers limped away with the others. Kouga carried her back into the cave and roughly set her down on the hay. "Don't try to escape again." He said in a stern voice.

"I can't believe you!" Kagome screamed. "You can't just kidnap me like this! Inuyasha is going to be furious! I can't be your woman even if I wanted to! I'm with Inuyasha!"

Kouga growled angrily and knocked her to the ground. He was straddling her hips with his hands on her forearms effectively holding her down. "What's so special about him? He's nothing and never will be nothing." Kouga looked her in the eyes.

Angry, Kagome swung her arms and legs violently. "Don't say that about him! He's a good person!" she shouted still not being able to get out of his hold.

Kouga was able to stop her thrashing by pressing his lips against hers. Kagome was too shocked to respond. Her eyes wide open not believing that she was kissing someone other than Inuyasha. "What's so special about him?" Kouga asked a little hurt that she didn't respond at all.

"He's already done so much for me. You don't know anything about what I've been through and what he's done." Kagome said as a single tear rolled down her cheek.

Kouga sighed and sat up right. He helped Kagome up and she turned around, back facing him. "What has he done?" Kouga asked.

Inuyasha ran for what seemed like ages, desperate to find Kagome. He knew where Kouga's den was. He wasn't smart enough to go somewhere else once he kidnapped someone.

Finally the waterfall was in view. Inuyasha skidded to a stop when he saw Kouga and Kagome standing in front of him. "Kouga, what the fuck were you thinking?" Inuyasha growled.

Kouga nodded to Kagome and she ran towards Inuyasha. Kagome had explained what had happened. Kouga sat quietly for a long time not saying anything. Finally he told her after a long time of silence that when he gave her a signal to go to Inuyasha and not to ask any more questions.

Inuyasha hugged Kagome as she ran towards him. He inhaled her scent relieved that she was okay. He looked towards Kouga not letting go of Kagome. He wondered why Kouga was giving her up so easily. Not that he minded he was just worried that Kouga had something else planned.

"I have nothing else planned." Kouga said almost as if he read his mind. "I'm returning her to you because of what she told me. Treat her well or I'll have to take her back!"

Kouga looked longingly at Kagome and then left without another word. Inuyasha stared in shock where Kouga once stood. When the shock wore off he looked to Kagome.
"What the fuck just happened?" He asked.

Kagome sighed, "Can we go home first?"

Inuyasha smiled. `She said `home'' He picked her up bridal style and headed home.

As soon as they got into the castle they saw everyone waiting near the front entrance. "What happened? Kagome are you okay?" Sango asked.

"What did Kouga do?" Rin asked.

"She's fine, he did nothing. You can ask her your stupid questions later. We're going upstairs to talk and NO INTERRUPTIONS!" Inuyasha growled in warning.

Everyone was taken aback. They didn't think he would be so angry. Sesshomaru was the only one who knew of his brother's temper and his reasons behind it. He was an inu youkai, full or not when you get frustrated your anger takes over. Its even worse for Inuyasha being a hanyou, his emotions were harder to control.

"Anyone who disturbs them will suffer severe consequences. I suggest everyone pass the word around." Sesshomaru glared at everyone. He nodded for Rin to follow and headed to his room.

"Do you think something bad happened?" Sango asked.

"I'm not sure. It's not everyday Inuyasha asks to be left alone like that. Sesshomaru also helped him out too. With his threat no one will bother them." Miroku explained.

"I hope nothing bad happened." Sango said. Miroku nodded in agreement.

Inuyasha made his way to his room and didn't set Kagome down until he had locked the door. He motioned for her to sit on the bed and after she did he sat next to her. He took a deep breath to calm himself and looked at her.

"What happened and don't lie." Inuyasha said sternly.

"Well he took me to his den behind the waterfall and told me that Naraku had told him to get me and bring me back to him. I told him that I wasn't going back and he said he liked that and that he would have to rethink his deal with Naraku. He claimed me as his woman and I slapped him when he put his arm around me." Kagome explained.

"That's not all of it." Inuyasha said knowingly. He did everything he could not to growl during her explanation.

"Well when I woke up this morning he was sleeping next to me and he kissed me." Kagome said.

"What?" Inuyasha yelled. "I can't believe that fucker did that! He's going to die now!"

"What does it matter now? He asked me to explain why I stayed with you and I told him. He understood and let me go easily." Kagome said. She moved closer and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. "Arigato for coming for me."

"Of course I came for you. I wasn't going to let that damn ookami have you." Inuyasha growled as he returned the hug. "I'm glad your back. The wolf is still going to die!"

Kagome giggled and moved from the hug. Inuyasha looked into her eyes and inhaled her scent. He let out a yawn as his eyes drooped. He went a long way to get Kagome and brought her back.

"Why don't you get some sleep?" Kagome asked.

"I'm not tired." Inuyasha said after another yawn.

"You are too. You went all that way to get me and then brought me back without a rest." Kagome said. "I think you need some rest."

Inuyasha ignored her and pushed her back down on the bed, straddling her hips in the process. "How about instead we finish where we left off?" He smirked.

"What do you mean?" Kagome asked even though she knew what he meant.

"You remember." Inuyasha said as he kissed her neck.

"But I don't know if I'm ready yet." Kagome said nervously.

"Let me know when to stop." Inuyasha said. He kissed her lips to shut her up.

Inuyasha tapped her lips with his tongue to get her to open up. Kagome shyly met her tongue with his and moaned as his hand made its way to her breast and massaged slowly. Inuyasha broke the kiss and smirked at the redness of her cheeks. He continued his kissing on her neck.

As his other hand slowly inched its way down towards the ribbon of her kimono. He untied it and let it fall open. Self consciously, Kagome tried to cover herself. Inuyasha moved her hands away and quickly kissed her on the lips. "Don't hide your beauty from me." He said.

Kagome's face turned even redder and she forced herself to relax under his gaze. Inuyasha pulled the kimono open and gazed at her goddess like body. She had full round breast, white ivory skin, and a curvy body. Inuyasha thanked the gods for bringing Kagome into his life and removed the kimono from her body and tossed it into the far corner of the room.

He trailed butterfly kisses from her lips down to the valley of her breasts and lightly sucked on her skin. His mouth encircled her breast and he massaged the other one with his hand so as not to neglect it.

Kagome moaned and arched her back as Inuyasha licked and kissed her body. With one last nip to her breast he pulled back to start the removal of his clothes. In an instant his inner and outer haori were off and he was already working on his pants.

Kagome gasped as she saw Inuyasha undress himself. It was the first time she'd ever seen a man naked and Inuyasha looked really good. He had a nice shaped chest with well-defined muscles. He was nicely tanned. Even though Kagome never saw a naked man before she was sure he was bigger than most.

Inuyasha hovered over her and kissed her to wash away all and any doubts she might have. "Are you ready? Once we've started I won't stop until we're mated and that means we'll be together forever." Inuyasha whispered in her ear. "Inu youkai mate for life."

"I'm ready." Kagome breathed softly.

Smiling Inuyasha leaned down to taste the sweetness of her lips. He positioned himself over her opening and slowly slid inside of her. Kagome tensed at the feeling of being stretched. Inuyasha patiently waited as she adjusted to him. He knew it would take some time for her to get used to him.

After a while Kagome nuzzled Inuyasha's neck signaling that she was ready. The pain had passed. Inuyasha looked in her eyes to make sure she was ready to continue. She nodded and Inuyasha pulled out and thrusted back in.

Kagome's moan told him that she was now feeling the pleasure and no more pain. He smiled happily and moved at a moderate pace. Finally after all this time of wanting her they would finally be mated. The emptiness he felt inside of him was now filled.

Ever since he'd met he'd been waiting for this moment. When he could taste the sweetness of her lips and skin. Feel the curves of her body and her skin on his skin. To smell the scent of their mating warning other males that she was his and always would be.

They were in the process of creating a bond no one could break. Not even Naraku. This would keep her safer and close to Inuyasha. Relief flowed through Inuyasha's body at the thought of her finally being his.

The feeling of her beneath his was incredible. It was indescribable. Words couldn't sum up the way he felt. It was at that moment that he knew he would always crave and need her touch, to smell her scent around him laces with his own.

Kagome couldn't believe the pleasure she felt. She couldn't believe she was so nervous and had any doubt. The feeling of being wanted and needed was more than anything. Mating with Inuyasha made her feel reborn. Like she was a new person.

The feel of his fingertips on her skin, his lips on hers drove her crazy and she wanted more. She no longer doubted Inuyasha's care for her. The lonely feeling slowly died as she felt the pit of her stomach feel with heat.

They were both lost in passion as Inuyasha picked up the pace. They were both feeling the heat waiting for the best to come. They could feel something coming to an end. Kagome whimpered and moaned anxiously waiting for it.

Inuyasha growled in pleasure as his eyes blinked red. His youki demanded to finish and finally claim her as his.

Soon enough they were both close to completion. Inuyasha began sucking on her neck waiting for the moment to bite down on her skin and claim her as his.

Kagome's muscles tightened around Inuyasha and she clung to him. Inuyasha breathed in her scent before hearing Kagome scream his name. At that moment he bit down on her neck. He too came and released his seed inside of her. The mating was complete.

Inuyasha collapsed on top of Kagome. He rolled over to the side and took Kagome with him so she was lying on top of him. She smiled happily and Inuyasha kissed her forehead.
