Yusuke's POV

What was that about? Why are they being so hostile to each other? Kagome looks fine, well better get down to business. She has lots to explain especially about why she hangs out with a stupid mutt and a girl that looks like her, but way colder than her.

Last time:

"… After these long years… im finally back. Mark my words; blood will be spilled for what I had gone through all these years…" the person in a black hood whispered to the quiet night.

Chapter 6: changing bits by bits

Just as Yusuke demanded her for an explanation, Inuyasha walked in with kikyo.

"Yo, WENCH. I see you haven die YET".

"What a pity to have kikyo's soul wasted on you!" sneered a stupid mutt face. (Sorry can't help it)

kikyo just looked at her with a smug. Hiei, Kurama, Yusuke and Sango was about to give him a piece of their minds when…

"SIT!!!"

They stopped in mid swing when they were greeted by Inuyasha eating dirt. Dirt eating Inuyasha was teaching the ground some strings of curses. Very colorful.

Yusuke burst out laughing and started rolling on the ground followed by Kuwabara. Kurama stifled a giggle and Hiei just smirked, but in his eyes you could see the twinkle of amusement. Botan was also giggling uncontrollably. Sango, Miroku and Shippo glared at him with anger in their eyes. Kikyo just looked bored, she even yawned.

Inuyasha plucked himself off the ground and glared, promising death to all who still dared to laugh at him. He wanted to hit them but opted to shout at Kagome.

" STUPID WENCH WHAT WAS THAT FOR"

"SIT!!! THAT was for being annoying, HANYOU!!!"

"WHAT did you call mi?!"

"I called you a HANYOU, you filthy half…" she trailed off just as she realized what she had just said.

`Oh KAMI! I can't believe I just said that to him. He hated being called that. And I just…"

^ So wat? He deserves it! He is, after all a filthy HANYOU!!! ^

Inuyasha was steaming hot; you could practically see steam coming out of his ears.

" WHAT ABT U? U JUST A WORTHLESS, stinking NINGEN!"

"SIT! At least im a FULL BLOODED ningen! Unlike someone who is HALF BLOODED!"

Kagome winced when she realized what she just said. So she decided to apologize but Inuyasha totally ruined the moment.

"Look… Inuyasha im sor…"

"SHUTUP, bitch. Who wanna hear from your horrid voice!"?

"WHY U! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! AND here I was thinking about apologizing to you! You know she's right, you deserve it. NOW! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT!"

Satisfied with the deep, and I mean DEEP Inuyasha shaped hole, she turned her attention to the yu yu gang.

The orange haired guy, who was quite ugly, was trying to scoot as far away from her as possible. Hiding behind a blue haired girl, who doesn't feel like she's human at all? The red haired guy with emerald eyes was smirking at the hole, he doesn't feels like a human nor does he feels like a youkai, feels like both but he can't be a hanyou. Kagome pondered on this fact but could not come up with an answer. The black haired guy with a white starburst was looking at her with those ruby eyes. He was trying to read her mind, so up went a barrier. She looked back at him and found him to be a fire apparition, and then again she felt him poking at her barrier so she strengthened it. Suddenly he fell a step back with a surprised look.

Kagome shrugged and looked at her cousin who was turning purple with all those laughing, he was clutching his stomach with a tear- streaked face, trying very hard to grasp for air.

Hiei POV

She turned to me after observing Kurama. I tried to read her thoughts but was pushed back by a barrier. I tried again and was surprised to find amethyst colored eyes looking back at mi. I stumbled back and when I looked back again it was back to the blue eyes.

`What was that about? And who is the `she' she mentioned?"

BACK to the hut, where one pissed hanyou is freed from the ground~~~~~

Kagome stood to help Yusuke off the floor when she cried out in pain.

"OUCH!" and fell to the ground clutching her side.

Upon hearing the ouch, all turned concerned eyes to her.

"Hn, you should be careful"

To say everyone in the yu yu gang was shocked was an understatement, who would have thought, Hiei caring for a ningen, and she happens to be a girl.

Kurama flashed golden eyes and growled, but the gold was reigned in by emerald as fast as it escaped. Hiei just dismissed him, and focused on Kagome.

# How DARE he dismiss us like THAT #

After hearing the ouch, Yusuke snapped out of his laughing and rushed to her side. Having no qualms to lift her shirt to check the wounds.

" YUSUKE URAMESHI! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YA DOING!"

"What am I DOING? Im JUST checking your WOUND!"

"… Well NOT in front of HOUSHI"

She pointed at a certain pervert, and next we found the pervert on the ground with multiples bumps from the courtesy of the boys, and Sango of course.

With that, Yusuke resumed to lift the shirt. Kagome just glared at him but did not stop him.

Yusuke POV

I would feel eyes staring at mi from the back. I could not help but shiver a little. Oh well, I must be paranoid. I lifted the shirt and started to unwrap the bandages. I was prepared to meet up with an ugly hole through the side but all I saw was skin.

"Well, how is it?"

"Good skin…"

"WHAT! YUSUKE, you pervert!"

*Slap *

"What was that for… you do have good skin…" I replied while tending to a bruised cheek.

"I asked you the condition of the wound and you tell mi I got good skin, WHERE were YOUR eyes looking at?!"

"Oh… ha ha, not a single scar on you" I replied sheepishly.

"HEY wait a minute! No scar how is that possible!" I burst out.

The others leaned in to get a clearer look at the wound or what was left in its place; fair skin, not a scar in sight.

Kagome pulled down the shirt with a `humph' and glared daggers at me. Then I realized the guys were staring at her skin and kuwabaka was DROOLING.

Moments later all the guys were spotted with big bumps on their head, the courtesy of both Botan and Sango.

Kurama POV

[That really hurts… sniff]

Kuwabara was about to open his mouth to say something but the glare Kagome was sending him made him stop.

"So… Yus Kun, you gonna tell mi how you came about the company of youkai and him"

Pointing a finger at the orange guy.

"Well… this all started when I saved a boy from being run over… … …. …. ….. ….. And that's how I am now a reikai tentai with them."

"Oh, I see that's interesting. OH! Look at the time, I need to get home to prepare for school so pardon mi for leaving now." Kagome said innocently as she stood up getting ready to walk out of the door.

" OH NO YOU DUN! You are NOT leaving until you tell mi why are you here!" not falling for her trick, Yusuke pulled and pushed her back to sit on the ground.

"Im just here to visit my friends." Said an ever-cheerful Kagome.

"THAT'S not the point here! Kag WHY are you here, this is the federal ages."

"Oh… you meant that. Why didn't you just say so?"

"KAGOME…." A rolled eyed yusuke grounded out.

"Hee, hee. Well, you see it all started on my 15th birthday… that's what happen and this is Sango, the perverted monk is Miroku, the dog eared person is Inuyasha and the one that resembles mi is kikyo and this.

Lifting and hugging Shippo.

"Is my beloved son."

"Well… that's nice … WAIT! WHEN DO YOU HAVE A SON!? WHO DID YOU HAVE IT WITH! IM GOING TO …"

"YOU won't be killing anyone. Shippo is my adopted son, his parents were killed by the thunder brothers."

"I see. Well, that blue haired gal is Botan. She's the grim reaper and the one who come gets mi for missions. That orange haired ugly idiot is kuwabaka.

"Uramenshi! What did you say?!"

Grabbing hold of Kagome's hands, staring intently into her beautiful blue eyes. He asked

"Will you be my girl…"?

Before he can even finish he was hit to la la land by Yusuke.

"And then the red haired guy with emerald eyes is Shuichi minamino or known as Kurama"

Yusuke was once again interrupted by Kurama holding Kagome's hands and giving her a heart warming smile when he bowed during introduction. Kagome smiled back to him and taunted Yusuke.

"Yus kun you should learn from him. So polite."

Yusuke just scowled at both of them and continued.

"The black guy with the white starburst is…"

" HN Hiei"

All the yu yu gang was staring dumbfounded at him. Processing the information that Hiei just gave Kagome his name. They were even more shocked when he blushed a light pink, when Kagome teased him.

"Hmm… so your name is HN Hiei?"

"No"

"So its Hn then?"

"Its Hiei."

"Well just say so then, dun Hn Hn here and Hn Hn there, your name is nice enough no need to add Hn in front to make it sounds even nicer." Giggled out Kagome.

Hiei just looked away with a light tint of pink. And hned.

The yu yu gang just looked on silently at this historical event of Hiei blushing. They were brought out of their stupor when Kagome announced that she needs to go home for school.

"Its ONLY school, no need to rush"

"Well. Im not you, Yus Kun, so I dun tend to skip school."

"You make it sounds like a bad thing"

"Im attending a new school, mum wants mi to get used to this new school."

"So what school are you heading" Kurama asked.

"Hmm… I think its called Sarayshiki Junior High"

"That's great, we all except Hiei attends this school."

"Really, that's great now I have someone to show mi around. So Yus kun you can help mi with my lessons then"

" Ask Kurama for help instead. Yusuke can't even save himself from his drowning grades." Suggested Botan. While the rest laughed, Hiei just smirked.

"HEY! You all do know that im HERE, right!"

"That's the point of letting you hear, Yus Kun," said an innocent looking Kagome.

Yusuke just glared at her.

` At least she's still alive and talking. Im so glad she's okay. She's like a sister to mi instead of a cousin, ill never forgive myself if anything happens to her. But she sure heals fast then normal…'

# Smart girl! I love her more already. #

`Maybe we can get closer to her in school if you learn some control'

Oh yeah I forgot Koenma wants to see her.

" My boss wanna see you. So you think you can go see him?"

"Oh… okay. But can I go after schooling for a few days?"

"Sure, no proble…" I was rudely interrupted by the mutt face.

" FEW DAYS, YOU AIN'T GOING BACK FOR EVEN A DAY!"

"AND WHY NOT!"

"FEH, YOU BROKE THE JEWEL AND WE NEED TO GET IT BACK SO I CAN WISH TO BE WITH KIKYO FOREVER AND NEVER TO SEE YOU AGAIN!"

"WHY YOU SIT! Like you said I broke the jewel so therefore its up to me whether to find it or not! Im not going to listen to an inferior being like you."

"WHAT! THE JEWEL BELONGS TO KIKYO NOT YOU. IM HELPING YOU FIND IT, YOU UNGRATEFU…"

"WELL FINE THEN, SINCE ITS HER JEWEL THEN SHE CAN GO FIND IT. HER JEWEL SO SHE MUST BE ABLE TO SEE IT. SO WHY BOTHER WITH MI. ASK YOUR BELOVED ZOMBIE TO FIND ALL THE SHARDS THEN. BAKA!!!!"

" SHE'S NOT A ZOMBIE!"

"Of course not. She's a CLAY POT!"

" TAKE THAT BACK, YOU ARE NOTHING COMPARED TO HER!"

"So fine, I dun care at all." With that she walked away dragging Yusuke along to stop him from killing the mutt.

Kagome POV

"Ok guys. Ill be back after a few days. So see ya soon!"

"Bye!" a chorus rang through the air. I turned and walked to the bone eater's well, closely followed by a very pissed yu yu gang. I can understand why Yusuke is mad because im more than a cousin to him. And Kuwabara being mad because of his some honor code. Botan because we are females. What I dun understand is why Hiei and Kurama are burning with rage. Kurama's eyes are changing to gold and I could see an image of a silver fox overlapping his features.

Back at the shrine~~~~~~~~

"Well, Yus kun. Ill see you tomorrow at school" he hugged mi one last time before going off. The rest left except Hiei. I looked at him to show that im listening to what he is going to say.

Hiei POV

What am I doing?! The rest have already left.

{Ooo… say something, dun act like an idiot! Here's your chance, alone with her! }

What the hell are you talking about?

She looked at me with a smile expecting mi to say what I want. So I said…

"Hn, your eyes changed to amethyst a moment when I was trying to read your mind. Why?"

Silent {nice try buddy… she's not replying!}

"It did? I din't know? Maybe something to do with her?"

"Who's her?"

"No idea, and you have no business poking into my mind. Wanna noe something ASK"

"Hn"

" Fine be that way. Goodbye, see ya tomorrow!"

With that she left in a huff into the house. After her presence entered her room I left to Yukina.
