Chapter 14: who is she?

Kimiko POV

I left Hiei and went to the bench. It's so calm here. Watching the rolling waves, they seem to wash away all my troubles.

Shippo was still in my arms. He was looking at mi with wide eyes. I glanced down at him and placed him on the sandy shores.

"Shippo…. you do noe that im different from before, right?"

"Ya…. but I still wanna be with you!"

"I dun mind treating you as my son, but there are certain things that will change…."

"Like?" being the curious kitsune he is.

"I am letting you see my memories and after that you see whether you still wanna stay with mi. Okay?"

"Okay." Jumping back into my arms as I settled myself on the rock facing the sea. Flashes of my memories I gave to him, from the beautiful ones that I once had and the hurtful ones that I have endured.

After the images ended it was already morning. I waited for his reaction. He looked at mi, and then cuddled even nearer into mi.

"You will always be my mommy!"

"Oh Shippo, thanks. Let's go home." I said and kissed him on the forehead.

At school~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Yusuke POV

Keiko was bugging mi about Kagome. What was I supposed to say? Hey Keiko! Guess what? Kagome changed and is no longer herself, instead she is a not so friendly Kimiko.

Hell, she will kill mi, with that answer.

Here she comes again.

"Kagome is gone, so dun bother looking for her."

"You MEAN she changed to Kimiko?"

"Ya…hey wait a minute. How on EARTH DO YOU KNOW?"

"She told mi." and whack.

"What's that for?" nursing my bruised cheek.

"For shouting."

In Class~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Yu Yu gang was restless with the lack of Kagome, even Kuwabara.

"Class, Miss Higurashi is no longer with us, she left to someplace else. And we have yet another new student. Please introduce yourself."

"Hi! My name is Kimiko. Nice meeting all of you!"

"WHAT!" the sound of chair dropping to the ground and Yusuke exclaimed.

"YUSUKE! How can you welcome the new student like that?"

"What NEW student, she's Kagome."

"He must have mistaken mi for another person." Yusuke felt a shiver down his spine, as the temperature to the room got colder.

"Fine, im sorry!"

"That's okay. Just dun let IT happens again."

As she went to take an empty seat. Yume stood up and afforded her his hand. She took it as he led her to sit in his seat. He took the seat next to her. Smirking smugly at the Yu Yu gang.

Hiei POV

She took his hand. How dare she. She has a lot to explain.

Kurama POV

I could feel Youko anger rising to rip that Yume guy head out.

#How DARE he touch her! Let me OUT, im going to KILL him! #

`Calm yourself! You will only make things worse.'

#HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? #

` What if she likes him?'

# SHE CAN'T, SHE WILL NOT! #

`She isn't Kagome.'

Lunchtime on the roof~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I think I shocked those spirit detectives by attending this school and accepting the hand of Yume. I am going to make this into a great enjoyment till I get bored with them.

"So, have you accepted my proposal?"

"Why the rush? Im still thinking."

"What's there to think? Its perfect."

"That's why, its too perfect…."

"What do you mean?" Yume questioned while grabbing onto my shoulders. I snaked away from him and turned. He took a step closer to mi, I could feel him breathing down my neck.

"Its too perfect. Ever thought about what are you going to do if you fail?"

"You are right. I never did thought of that, because there's no need for that." he placed his hands on my shoulders and leaned closer to whisper into my ear.

I brushed him off.

"Being over- confident, is not always a good thing. You are not invincible."

"But I will be if you join mi." lifting out his hand, palm facing mi.

I looked at it before heading towards the door. Turning the handle and said,

"I dun think so." I yanked the door open and found Yusuke, Kuwabara and Botan tumbling down onto the ground, Kurama and Hiei were by the wall.

Lifting an eyebrow at the crumpled mess. I turned and faced Yume. He was still standing facing backwards from mi and the crowd.

"Think about it…. it may not be too late to stop now…."

Turning around with saddened eyes and vanished into his shadow.

"It's too late…. it has already began…." He whispered into the wind but I heard it. And I knew the others heard it as well, they got on a confused look. Questions were speeding in their mind; I can hear them perfectly clear.

"Mind your own business. This is not one to be trifled by you people." I closed my eyes and advised, and then brushing passes them and left.

Back to class~~~~~~~~~~~

Yume had left. I dun think he is ever coming back again. But I was sure I was going to see him again. But under what circumstances, I do not know, I hope it's the best not the worst.

The teacher is so boring; man I already learnt and mastered them. I am totally bored. I noe im not that bright when I was Kagome, but now im back. I can already graduated.

"Its so BORING! Can you be less BORING!" oh look I surprised the teacher, he broke his chalk. He and the class turned to look at mi.

"What? He is boring."

"I will excuse this outrageous behaviors as you are a new student." He went back to the blackboard.

"No matter how many days passes, I am still going to say that you are SO BORING! Quit teaching and join the BORING club. Oh wait! I bet you are president of that club." I answered sweetly.

Ningens have such short tolerance; he's turning red with anger and embarrassment after only a few comments. Maybe I can burst his blood vessels. I smiled inwardly as I provoked him further.

"MISS, I SHOULD ASK YOU TO STEP OUTSIDE!"

"Why? Should I listen to YOU? You dun own this place."

"YOU!"

"Is that all you can say?"

"Kimiko, stop tormenting the poor teacher." I can recognize that voice anywhere. It was her. She slided the door open and stepped in. Oh god, why is she here!

"You should not torment the teacher, he is old you know. And old folks tend to be boring."

"Tormenting him, then what about my ears. They are numb from his Boring lectures."

"AND why in the name of kami are YOU HERE!" pointing a finger at her. I know pointing fingers are impolite but I couldn't help it.

"Well…. I heard you are here so I came to accompany you. So happy to see mi?"

"WHAT! NO WAY! I dun need you to accompany mi in this school, so you can just leave." I hissed while standing up.

"But I wanna study here, I have not seen you for such a long time."

"And hell was I glad FOR THAT!"

"That's mean, Kimiko. But im used to It." sounding all so cheerful. I could feel my eyebrows twitching.

"Not a snowball chance in hell am I going to allow you to stick to mi like glue!" stomping out of the classroom, earning many curious looks from the other students. She did not get my point like always and followed mi down the hall. What did I do to deserve this?

I made my way around the school with she tagging beside mi, talking in an all so cheerful mode. I could see she's doing overtime with the hyper cheerful mode. This is not good.

I made my way to the next class.

Back to the Yu Yu gang~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Who is that babe?"

"What about Yukina?"

"Oh my dear, Yukina…." The others watched with sweat drops as Kuwabara went into dreamland filled with Yukina and maybe even kittens.

"No idea, Kimiko seems the most displeased to see her. Maybe someone from her past?"

"She doesn't looks that old."

"Hn. Neither does Kimiko."

"Hiei's right. That girl did says that she had not met Kimiko for a very long time, and since she knew she's Kimiko, so I say they know each others for a long time." The observant Kurama stated. As the others nodded their agreement.

"Ill go consult Koenma Sama about this." Botan said as she disappeared into the portal.

"Well, where you suppose that Yume guy went to?" Yusuke asked the gang.

"I have no idea. But they were talking about a proposal which Kimiko did not accept…."

"She did not decline it as well."

"What were they talking about?" a confused Yusuke asked Kurama as he always seems to have the answers.

"I…. Really dun know. They are the only one who knows of it…."

"Let's just force her to say then, she is still my cousin, I think…."

"Hn."

"And that would mean?"

"He agrees to the idea. Let's do it after school."

Back to the class~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Yusuke POV

We were already seated in our seats, when the door slided open to reveal a pissed Kimiko.

"Will you please JUST KEEP QUIET!" having shouting the last part and glaring at any one who dared to look her way.

"Well…. I dun think so." Kimiko glared at her so hard I thought a hole is going to burn through her. She did not even flinch and continued to talk.

Kimiko just slammed her head onto the table.

"DESERVE"

*Bang *

"THIS!"

*Bang *

Wow, she really is annoyed.

"Kimiko, are you okay?" she asked.

"No…. NO IM NOT! But I will be if you just SHUT UP!" she shouted from her position with the head on the table.

"Oh okay!"

"Stop talking in my head!"

"YOU din't say I CAN'T"

"Well, I say you CAN'T right NOW!"

"Say so earlier the next time."

"Why you! I absolutely hate you."

"And I love you too." Smiling grandly at Kimiko, who just glared at her.

After School~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kurama POV

Throughout the classes, Kimiko is so annoyed with that girl, that she set the teacher's wig on fire. That girl is telepathic as well. There they are at the gate. We approached them.

"Schools over! Why are you still gluing to mi?"

"Well, there's so much to say to you."

"THERE ISN'T MUCH TO SAY!"

"But there is!"

"No, there isn't!"

"YES."

"NO!"

"YES!"

"NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!"

"YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!"

"If you finish whatever you wanna say, you WILL leave mi ALONE."

"Yes."

"Then, start the ball rolling."

"Ok, you see."

"Are we interrupting something here?" I butted in politely.

Both of them blinked at us before Kimiko latched onto my arm. Her eyes shining with gratefulness.

Kimiko POV

"Of course you are not interrupting! You just saved mi from losing my ear!" I was so grateful I din't think twice about latching onto his arm.

"Kimiko! What about him?"

"What? What about him?"

"What is he going to think when he finds you latching onto some other guy's arm, and on a youkai some more."

I could feel Kurama froze at that sentence. I wonder why? Hiei doesn't look too happy as well.

"He's going to do nothing. There's nothing wrong with being a youkai, dun forget we also have a youkai form."

"I know, but we are different. Youkai is only our second form. Our true form is not youkai, but that of a sorceress. And both of us know we are different from the other magic casters. We are way…."

"I know, I know! Dun have to start nagging. You nagger."

"I am not a nagger!"

"…."

"Kimiko!"

"Okay, you are not a nag. BUT you are OLDER than mi!"

"Yes! And you should respect your elderly."

"Ha ha ha, very funny."

"How old older are you?" a curious Yusuke asked.

"Yusuke, its not polite to ask a lady's age." Kurama apologized. What a charming person he is. So sweet.

"Hmm, im 50 years older than Kimiko. Right?"

"Ya, I think. Who cares, age is no importance to us."

Yusuke POV

"What were you and Yume talking about on the rooftop during break?"

"Yume is here? Where? How come I din't see him?"

She knows that guy too? What is going on? And what is second and true form?

"He left before you came."

"Oh why. I had so much to say to him…."

"Yes, why. He shouldn't have left. At least he will have a fair share of torture being with you all day."

"Hey! What does that means?"

"No offense, but you tend to get annoying when you have lots to say…. especially now since you did not see us for such a long time."

"It not my fault we were separated for so long that I had to annoy you."

"So where DID Yume come for?"

"What else? The proposal of course. You came to see mi because of it as well, right?"

"Ya, you are so clever. How did you know?"

"Because I know."

"So what did you say?"

"I did not accept neither did I declined."

"Hmm…. why? The proposal is quite tempting dun you think? Especially when it is designed to tempt you."

"Ya, I noticed. But there is a flaw in the proposal."

"If you say so. So where did Yume go then?"

"I think he went back."

"He went back? How did he go back? The gate is not opened yet."

"Who noe? He is after all the great Yume."

"Ya, I guess I forgot about what he can do."

"WHAT PROPOSAL are you both talking about!" I was getting confused and annoyed by the lack of answers.

"You need not know. It does not concern you."

"I think it kinda concerns him, I mean he does live in this world."

"So you suggesting we tell them about the proposal?"

"I guess there's no harm telling them about it."

"Fine, you tell them then, Sora."

"Okay. You see the proposal is about…"
