"I have no busy in harming you today. I came with a proposal for you to join us. Join us and share our power, u can then defeat that fox and calm Kimiko as your own. We may even help you cast a spell to make her forget everything and only know you. She will live to serve you and do anything you say. So how about it?"

Join them. What game are they playing at? The reward is tempting. I really want Kimiko, maybe I should take the offer and she will be mine and no one else.

"Hn. I will take the offer."

"Good, lets go meet the Lord." Releasing the spell that held mi to the ground. Opening a portal.

Chapter 16: everyone is happy?

Shadow POV

What a fool. Does he really think that the Lord will give him Kimiko after he joins us? The lord himself wants her as a mate. Who wouldn't, with that beauty that she possesses and the power she has. And on top of all these, she is not just an ordinary princess. She is the next heir to the throne of Moon Crystal Kingdom. One of the three most powerful kingdoms. And she is also the goddaughter of Father god.

Hiei POV

I waited for him to release mi. I waited for the right moment and released the dragon of the darkness flame at him. Successfully defeating him. I was too exhausted and collapsed in the middle of the clearing for all to kill mi.

Kimiko POV

Oh look. There's Hiei. Why is he sleeping there? (Poking him with her finger) The ground must be very nice to sleep on. I lay beside him and fell asleep with my arms around him. He feels so warm, just like Kurama. With that thought I fell asleep.

Back to the Yu Yu gang. Outside the vault~~~~~~~~Sora had left~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kurama POV

"Anything missing, toddler?"

"Fortunately no, and I am not a toddler!"

"Where did Kimiko go to?"

"She went to find Hiei." I answered.

"And its Kimiko SAMA to you people." Koenma cut in.

"Why SAMA?" Kuwabara asked.

"Because she is royalty and not just any ordinary princess. She is the princess and the next heir to the throne of Moon Crystal Kingdom. Which is one of the three most powerful Kingdoms ruling the Crest Realm. And the fact that she is the goddaughter of Father god is enough proof of how powerful she is, and someone with that history should be respected. And therefore we SHOULD ADDRESS HER AS SAMA! Get it?"

"WHAT! She is the princess of WHAT!"

"Let's get to my office and I will fill all of you in with the new information that I received from my father."

Back at the office~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Take a seat. This will be long."

"Spill it out, toddler."

"Crest Realm used to have a war among the people themselves. They fought the war of light and darkness. Greed overwhelmed the people with the promise of eternal strength and power. Thus many fall into the depths of darkness. Those were dark days; finally, three warriors stood up and trapped the evil miasma into the farthest end of the land. The land was then splitted and three of the largest continents were given to the three warriors to rule. But soon as time goes by, challengers arise to defeat the heirs of the three warriors and took their place as rulers. Many centuries passed and the rulers were challenged and replaced, and the Kingdoms kept changing names. Until they rested on Moon crystal, Ice Spirit and Shadow. The rulers of these lands were never defeated, no others dared to challenge them when they heard of the powers their next heir possesses."

"So Kimiko is one of the heirs to the three most powerful Kingdoms?"

"Ya. And that's not all. She was the one deemed to possess the most power among the three heirs. It was only a saying, it was never tested out."

"Then, why fear them when no one tested out how truly powerful they are?"

"There was no need. Father god with the approval of all the other gods and goddesses adopted the three heirs into their community. It was said that they had predicted how powerful they will grow up to be, fearing that one day the three heirs will endanger them they made them one of them."

"But you said that they wanted to kill them."

"Yes. Because they feared them. Now there are not only the three heirs that may be against them, but the entire realm. The verdict that they passed for the punishment was truly unfair."

"That's their problem."

"Yes, I agree with Yusuke. Why do something that you will regret in the end."

"They din't realize until the sealing ceremony. When they sealed the power of the three heirs, they realized that they possess far greater more power than they had predicted. Only that the three heirs have yet to realize the power they truly have. If they touch on that power, and are back for revenge. Kiss good-bye to the god Realm.

"They deserved it."

"That's true, but no one deserved to die, right?"

All of us were staring at him.

"What?" he sweats dropped and sucked even harder on his pacifier.

"Anything else?" I enquired.

"As feared by the gods, some of them are plotting revenge."

"That must be the proposal that Yume guy was talking about."

"What proposal? Wait, did you say Yume? A guy with reddish purple hair and violent eyes?" instantly jumping onto the desk.

"Ya. How do you know? Kimiko knows him too, and that Sora girl also.

"Did you say Sora? Girl with orange hair and blue eyes, quite a mouth?"

"Ya… Why?" I am starting to get suspicious that there are lots of thing we do not know.

"You see, since Kimiko is so beautiful and powerful, many sought after her and only the best deem worthy of her. And so one guy was chosen by her father to be her mate. In the promise of producing more powerful heirs.

"You are not telling mi that, that guy is Yume, are you?" I knew they saw mi undergoing transformation. I didn't care and let Youko surfaced.

Koenma POV

"Are you going to answer mi?" a smooth calm baritone voice sounded but yet it was hidden with threats and dangers. I gulped and scoot farther away from him as I can without falling down the desk.

"Ya, that guy is Yume."

"What is it that he has that I dun?"

"Well, you see. Yume is the prince and heir to the Shadow. Like I said, Shadow is also one of the three most powerful kingdoms. So… and there is also the species difference. You know, he's like more compatible to Kimiko than yo…"

"Finish that sentence and you forfeit your life." Lifting mi off the desk and looked at mi with malicious eyes.

"Of course the decision lies with Kimiko. And, she did not seem interested in him. They were more of a childhood friend." I stated quickly before he swiped my head off.

"You should say so earlier." He said while his form shimmered and Kurama came back.

What a relief. Kurama is less menacing than Youko, the legendary bandit.

"Who is Sora then? The heir to Ice spirit?"

"Sora is the retainer of Kimiko. She grew up with her, she may not act her age but she is older than Kimiko."

"So what do you want them to do now, Koenma Sama?"

"I will inform you when some other things crop up. Take the time off and maybe gather some information of that proposal they are talking about. Bring Kimiko Sama to mi or Sora to mi if you can, and as soon as possible."

Yusuke POV

"Okay." Botan opened a portal for us and we crashed at my house. They left for their homes, and I lay on the bed thinking where Kimiko and Hiei went. I am so beat.

The next day morning~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~at Makai.

With Hiei still exhausted and sleeping on the ground. Kimiko was sleeping besides him with arms encircling him.

Hiei POV

I was exhausted after the use of the dragon of the darkness flame. I tried to move but found that someone was on mi, holding mi down. That thing stirred. I opened my eyes and met amethyst eyes. There's only one person that I know eyes like those, but it can't be her. She should be with Kurama, probably he claimed her already.

"Hiei, are you all right?" that voice, its her. What is she doing here?"

"Hn."

"Im glad you are alright, I couldn't wake you!" she latched onto my neck and pressed her form into mine. She's so soft and warm. I inhaled her scent and found that she was unmarked.

"What are you doing here, aren't you with Kurama?" I said coldly brushing her off.

"I saw you sleeping here, so I slept here along with you." She chirped.

"You slept here all night with mi?"

"Yup! The ground is not that comfy, dun sleep on the ground the next time." She pouted. She thought I was sleeping here, so she accompanied mi here. I could not help it, I started to laugh.

"What is it?" she leaned closer; I really want to kiss her. So I did. I crushed my lips onto her, pinning her onto the ground. Running my tongue over her lips for entrance. She opened and I tasted every inch of her mouth. She tasted so sweet. But she belongs to Kurama. I started to pull away, but she encircled her arm around my neck pulling mi down into another kiss.

"Kimiko. Stop this before you regret it."

"Regret what?" as she trailed kisses down my neck.

"Regrets from choosing the wrong person to love."

"What is love? I dun know what that is. Kurama says he will help mi find it back, will you help mi find it back?"

"What?" she looked at mi with sad eyes. She doesn't know what love is? But she is different, she isn't like mi. I was abandoned since birth. Thinking that she was taunting mi, I lost my temper.

"What game are you playing at? I saw you hug Kurama and you tell mi you do not know what love is." Pushing her to the ground as I stood up.

"Hiei."

"How could you not know what love is? You were never abandoned before. I was unwanted since birth. You have parent, friends who love you. If you are here to torment mi, then leave." Turning to walk away when she latched onto mi. I smelt salt. She's crying. Why? She went in front of mi and hugged mi. I tried to push her off, but she held on tighter.

"I did not come to taunt you. I did not. I did not." She was shaking her head while tears streamed down her cheeks. She raised her head and kissed mi on the lips. I saw images flash through my head. That's when I realized they were her memories. I was wrong. She did not come to taunt mi. She lost love and trust when she died.

"Who was she?" I asked while wiping the tears away from her face. It did not suit her.

"My mother…she died because of my lack of control."

I hugged her to my chest.

"Hn, its not your fault."

"Everyone has scars on their heart. If one did not have, then he is nothing but a bastard."

I tiled her chin up and kissed her. I savored every moment as she returned the kiss. I pulled away.

"What about Kurama?" turning my head away, not meeting her glaze.

"He said that he doesn't mind sharing mi with you. The decision lies with you, whether

you want to share mi with him or not?"

"He said that?"

"Ya, Youko also says that he doesn't mind at all."

"If that fox don't mind, then why should I mind." Taking her into another breathtaking kiss.

Kimiko POV

"So you dun min…" I was cut short when Hiei's mouth met mine. I allowed him to lower mi onto the ground; he placed his hand below my shirt and lifted them off. He claimed mi there and then. I became his; I merged a bond with him.

"Let's go tell Kurama." I said after I used the water to have mi clothed again.

"Hn. It's his turn to claim you." Hiei said as he came behind mi and hugged mi.

"So you coming?"

"Hn. I need to tell the toddler something."

"About what?" l leaned up to nibble his neck.

"Yesterday, before you came. A guy in black coat came to offer mi a proposal to join them." I tensed. They asked Hiei to join them? Why? I know he's strong and all, but they despise other species of creature other than themselves.

Hiei POV

I felt her tense.

"What's wrong? I did not accept it."

"You should know something. You noe that Yume guy?"

"Ya…"

"He was chosen by my father to be my mate." I froze.

"But im not interested in him. I see him more as a friend, but…"

"But he thinks not, right." I nudged her on the neck.

"Right. I think. You know, im kinda dense when it comes to love relationships."

"Try very."

"Hn!" she huffed and I kissed her. Sharing one last kiss, she went back to Kurama.

Kurama POV

`Where are they?'

# I bet Hiei claimed her #

[You did allow him to share a mate with you.]

# But I want to claim her first. #

`Too bad, if he claims her. What does it matters, we are still getting her.'

[Ya. And everyone is happy.]

#Not all. #

`You mean Yume'

#Ya. #

`There's Kimiko.'

She should have seen us by now.

Kimiko POV

Something is not right. I am forgetting something. But what? I was wondering what I had forgotten when I bumped into a person.

"Im sorry, I wasn't looking."

"What are you thinking about." A pair of arms encircled mi. I looked up and saw red.

"Kurama…"

"Hiei marked you."

"Ya."

Kurama POV

#See, Hiei, claimed her#

"What's wrong?"

"I was wondering what did I forget."

"Forget what?"

"Im thinking…" she looked at my face, searching for something when she suddenly

gasped.

"I FORGOT about Shippo. He's still at the house." She ran off with mi closely behind her, she turned into an alley and disappeared into a portal.

I emerged to find myself standing outside a grand mansion. I followed her scent into the

mansion. I found her with Shippo in a room. The room was huge. Shippo's bushy tail was sticking out of a pile of toys.

"Shippo! I am so sorry I forgot about you! Are you alright down there?" she asked concernly and levitated the toys away from Shippo.

"Hai! Im okay. I had fun with the toys here."

How could you not, I mean the room was filled with all sorts of toys and games. Any kit will be entertained here. He saw mi and leaped onto mi.

" He likes you."

"Ya I would be glad to be his dad, if you allow, now?" I hinted suggestively.

"What are you saying?" acting all innocent. I jumped at her, she ran out of the room and into another. Closing the door behind mi, I crept closer to her, pushing her onto the bed behind.

"Claiming my fair share of mate." Allowing my eyes to change into Youko's and claim her. She tasted as sweet as she looks. I bit down on the mark below Hiei's. Taking off her clothes and mine, I entered her.

Nightfall~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hiei POV

Being bonded to her, I easily found her; she was sleeping with Kurama beside her. I slipped into the covers, and embraced her.

"Hi, Hiei." Kurama said showing he knows that im here.

"Hn." With that we embraced her and slept. I have never felt so wanted.

Next morning~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kimiko POV

I felt something warm engulf mi. I opened my blurry eye and saw arms and hands around my naked body. I kicked them off the bed. Satisfied with the `plop' I snuggled into the warm covers and slept on.

"Kimiko!" I was about to enter dreamland when I heard two voices shouting my name. I shot out of bed. Glancing around the room hastily.

"What!" I exclaimed out loud when I saw nothing.

"Do you enjoy kicking your mates down the bed?" a jokingly voice spoke. I followed the voice and saw that I had kicked Kurama and Hiei down to the ground.

"Not really." I smiled sheepish at them. Pulling the covers back to cover my bare chest.

"Let's not make it into a habit." With a kiss he said and went into the bathroom.

"Okay, but it is fun." Turning to face Hiei.

"Hn."

"Hn, to you to." Hugging him and giving him a kiss before I go and change.

Kurama POV

`Its not that bad sharing with Hiei.'

[Yeah]

#I am going soft; I am actually sharing my mate with another youkai. #

`That's not any youkai, that's Hiei. Our friend. And you said you dun mind at all.'

#Well, I din't know that she is better than I have expected. #

[Whose house is this?]

#True, its very grand. #

I went out of the bathroom, clothed. Hiei was beside Kimiko who was staring at the mirror. I went beside her and saw the reflection. It was a sight to see. The two bites marks on her shoulder and neck junction was gone. In its place was a marking of black lines. The lines were gliding out of nowhere forming a shape of a dragon. Looks like Hiei's dragon, but smaller in size. Then red and green lines with thorns snaked around the dragon. It glowed blue and returned to normal.

"What was that about?"

"Both of your marks of claim."

"Aren't them supposed to be scars?"

"Ya, when I am in the second form. Since im in my true form they become marks, this means that some of your powers are transferred to mi. Both of you will also get some of my powers."

"Your hair."

"My hair?" she spun around, hair facing mirror. Fine lines of green woven through her streaks of blue and red. When she looked up from the mirror, I saw that her amethyst eyes with dark blue outline is accompanied with a hue of ruby red on the pupils. She looked even more breathtaking.

"What's your second form?" Hiei asked. I could see he like the change.

"A youkai. And for good reasons."

"What reasons?"

"I will only turn to youkai when I lost too much power and during the period of being a youkai. I can recover the lost energies. Being youkai, I at least have ways to defend myself. But if I exerted way too much, I can change into the third form, which is the ningen. When I am a ningen, I only have miko power. Get it?"

"Ya. So whose house is this."?

"Mine."

"But I thought your family lives at a shrine?"

"Hiei's right you know."

"We stay at the shrine for ancestral reasons, this is my house, and we also have another

house for the family."

"So this house is solely yours?"

"Yup. Come on im hungry."

Kimiko POV

"HIEI, KURAMA! Reikai needs you now!" Botan popped in, opening a portal and pushed them in.

"Okay, that was weird. Oh well. Shippo wanna eat something?"

Castle in the shadow~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"My lord, she mated with the two youkai."

"SCILENCE!" shooting out flames from his palm immediately disintegrates the servant.

The rest of the cloaked figures took it as a cue to remain quiet. The Lord was fuming, only a fool will now go and provoke him.

"She left mi with no choice! I will force her to join us." With a wave of his hands, he disappeared into the shadows.
