"SCILENCE!" shooting out flames from his palm immediately disintegrates the servant. The rest of the cloaked figures took it as a cue to remain quiet. The Lord was fuming, only a fool will now go and provoke him.

"She left mi with no choice! I will force her to join us." With a wave of his hands, he disappeared into the shadows.

Chapter 17: something amiss

Kimiko POV

"Shippo, where are you?"

"MOMMY! HELP MI!"

"SHIPPO!" running towards the distressed cries of my kit.

"MOMMY! LET MI GO!"

"Put him down!" forming icicles and throwing at the person in black. It reflected my attacks with it's own icicles. Raising its hand, it trapped Shippo in a water bubble. I lashed out a crystal whip at the figure, it jump away but I caught its hood down. My eyes widen as I saw long silky white with blue hair cascade down its back. The figure turned to face mi.

"…Umi?" I was so surprised that I did not notice someone behind mi until he grabbed mi. I tried to turn but was tightly held from doing so.

"You shouldn't have chosen them." Silky voice said.

"Yume. Let go of mi!" I started to struggle; having him so near is not a good thing. I struggled even harder when he nibbled my earlobe.

"Why?"

"Why? Why indeed. Why did you choose them as mates? I am better than them. But no matter I will have you."

I screamed in pain when his hand cupped my breast, and he bit down on my neck. I feel so weak, my power leaving mi. He released mi and I crumbled to the floor. All I saw were two pairs of hands glowing with power before darkness claimed mi.

With the Yu Yu gang~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hiei POV

When we arrived at the reikai, the place was in chaos. Hordes of you kais are destroying the place. Yusuke and the baka are already there fighting. Most of the you kais are class B. Kurama and I started to fight.

Kurama POV

What is going on? This is strange. You kais attacking the reikai instead of ningenkai. There are hordes of them, mostly class B. where did they come from? Wait…we are near the vault. Could it be there's something inside that they want? I used my rose whip and slashed them into pieces, they kept coming and coming. I was surrounded, my rose whip was knocked off and I was left in the open.

They swiped at mi. I raised my hands to fend myself, waiting for the worst. When nothing happened. I looked and saw piles of ashes on the ground, statues of frozen you kais stood there. I saw my hands glowing red and blue, my right shoulder felt warm. I threw a look at it and saw two blades of red and blue forming, a X-cross was marked there.

"What the…" I was stunned but shook out of it when Hiei shouted to get behind him. Knowing what he is going to do next, I jumped behind him.

Hiei POV

There are so many. I decided.

"Stand behind mi!" I shouted at the gang. They understood and jump out of my way. I released the dragon of the darkness flame. But I was surprised as well as the others. I not only have one dragon of the darkness flame, there are now two. And the dragon had changed its appearances. It has red and blue spiraling around its body. It was more destructive than before. After the use of it, I thought I was going to sleep but I did not. The dragon returned to mi, the mark was marked with additional strips of red and blue.

In fact the injuries on my body were healed. For the whole of my life I was truly stunned.

Yusuke POV

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!" pointing to the new mark on Hiei's arm.

*Ring *

*Ring *

"WHAT!"

"Come here now."

"FINE! TODDLER!"

Back to Koenma's office~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Koenma POV

"Good job! You defeated the you kais and protected the vault!" I praised them but they were not listening. They were looking at Hiei's arm, what is so special about it? There is only the mark of the dragon there. I looked and gasped. The mark had changed and is that the crest…

"Hiei explain. What the hell happened just now? How come you have two dragons and they seemed more powerful than before!" Yusuke was screeching.

"That's not all you should be wondering about."

"What?" we turned towards Kurama who spoke. He held up his right arm and there were

Twins blades of red and blue forming the shape of a X- cross on his shoulder.

"You are not allowed to have tattoos in school."

"No. I dun think they are tattoos. They formed when I was fighting the hordes of youkai; I was left in the open and when I raised my hands to fend myself. The next moment they turned to ashes and frozen statues."

"WHAAT!" Yusuke exclaimed again.

"Seems to mi both of you acquired new powers, any idea how IT happened?" I asked.

@ HN, Kimiko did say we would get some of her powers. @

`True we should go back and ask her.'

@ HN@

"Ya, Kimiko."

"What does the pretty lady has to do with these?"

"Hn, mate." With that Hiei left followed by Kurama.

"WHAT! They MATED with HER?"

"Yusuke, its no big deal. But there are problems."

"WHAT!"

"Yume, or maybe the whole Realm is not going to like this."

"KOENMA SAMA! Something has gone missing from the vault."

"WHAT! Call back Hiei and Kurama. We need them!"

Back to Kimiko's house~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The house was perfectly normal, no signs that a fight occurred just now. Kimiko was sleeping with Shippo close to her. They found her in bed.

Kurama POV

"Kimiko." gently shaking her up.

"Ya."

"We need to ask you something."

"Ask away."

"What are these?" pointing to both the marks on mi and Hiei.

"Marks of your powers."

"So we now control them?"

"Ya."

"So how do we control them?"

"Get used to them and use it like you use other powers."

"Hn, any other thing that is going to change?"

"Nope."

"What's wrong with Shippo? He should be awake by now."

"Oh, some guy in black attacked just now and he hadn't waken since."

"Guy in black?" Hiei and I growled.

"Ya. But it's okay. He's gone. And Shippo might wake later."

"KURAMA, HIEI! Something is stolen in the vault!" once again we were pushed off by Botan. Leaving a confused Kimiko behind.

Kimiko POV

After they left. I opened a portal and stepped through. Yume is already there waiting for mi. I undressed and stepped into the spring where he is. I leaned my naked form on his. Trailing kisses down his jaws as his hand rubbed circles on my lower back. I snuggled into his chest, listening to his heartbeat as he caressed my naked body. I wanted him to take mi now.

Back at the vault~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Koenma POV

Im doomed how could they have gone into the vault and steal something.

"Well, toddler, what is missing?" I sucked harder on my pacifier.

"I dun noe what is missing."

"Then, how to you know it's missing!" Yusuke hissed, clutching his fists.

"Because I know. There is a spell here that will alert us if anything goes missing. But…"

"BUT!"

"But someone tempted with the spell, it can't tell mi what is missing."

Kurama POV

#There's a hole there. #

`Where?'

#There. At the barrier there. #

`I can't see it.'

# Let mi out then#

`Okay.'

Koenma POV

Why is Youko out? Wait, Youko Kurama.

"YOUKO! Why are you out?!" fearing the thief is going to steal something valuable from the vault.

"There's a hole in that barrier over there you fool."

"What?"

"There. I can see the hole in the barrier." He stated coolly pointing at a stand where my father kept the spear of white. But it wasn't there.

"IT'S GONE! THE SPEAR OF WHITE IS GONE! BUT HOW? YOUKAI CAN'T TOUCH IT WITHOUT BEING PURIFIED!"

"Stop your shrieking!" the two you kais covered their ears, glaring murder at the prince.

"Hee hee. Sorry."

"What is the spear of white."

"The spear of white is…is …ehhhh…I forgot."

"WHAT!" Yusuke started to hit Koenma on the head.

"Call us back when you find out anything." Youko said and left.

"Hn." He left also.

Back at Kimiko's house~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kurama POV

"Glad that you are joining mi."

"Hn. She's not here."

"But Shippo is."

"Your point?"

"Isn't it weird that she will leave Shippo here when the black cloaked person attacked them just now?"

"You saying she's caught?"

"I dun noe. I have this weird feeling."

"Paranoid."

"Maybe…I need to tell my mother about her."

"Hn." And he disappeared to who knows where.

I took Shippo with mi to see my mother. I am going to tell her everything.

With Kimiko and Yume~~~~~~~~

Kimiko POV

I woke up to find Yume standing near the window. I slided out of bed, nude and approached him. He turned around and looked at mi. I could feel his eyes scanning every inch of my body. He reached out a finger and traced every curve. I snaked my arms around him and pulled him to the bed. Re-acting the moments together again, feeling the pleasure of him inside of mi.

Somewhere in the federal era~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A female kitsune with tiny silver stars adorned on her raven hair laid unconscious on the sandy shore. A pair of purple, blue and green gemstones hammered silver link bracelet shone brightly in the sun.

"Can we take her back?"

"Take her with us then."

"Yeah. Thanks!"

With Kurama at his house~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Mother. I need to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"Im a youkai, and this is a kitsune."

With Hiei at Genkai's temple~~~~~~~~~~~

Perched high on the treetop looking down at Yukina.

Hiei POV

What's this weird feeling? Something is amiss and it has to do with Kimiko. I wonder where is she? She feels so near yet so far away.

At Koenma place~~~~~~~~~~

Piles of books towered in the office. Botan and Koenma were busy flipping through the dusty pages.

"Botan! Did you find it?"

"No Sir!"

"Keep looking! I can't believe I forgot what that thing can do!"

"Why dun you ask your father?" George suggested.

"BECAUSE HE WILL KILL MI!" throwing a stamp on George's face.

"Hurry! I dun know what it can do, but I know it's very important and powerful!"

"Hai, Koenma Sama."

Bedroom in the castle in the shadow~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Yume POV

I looked down at the girl that I have always wanted. Finally, I have her. Here, in my arms. Not to mention, both of us are not wearing anything. I smirked when she stirred awake. I climbed on top of her. Pressing my form into her soft and warm one. Kissing her and bringing her into another round of pleasure.
