-Kagome soon made it to her room, with her belongings in her hands. She didn’t know what tonight would bring. She only hoped she would have a great time. She entered her room, locking the door behind her. She dropped all her things onto the bed. Looking at the mirror for a moment she couldn’t help but smile. The ladies that did her makeup and hair did a good job. Her hair was down and curled, her eye shadow was black with a sparkles of red within it, the ladies just put enough on, she also had mascara and black eye liner, and her lips was a glossy red color.
“If only Inu Yasha was here to see me..” She sighed as she shook her head. “He wouldn’t notice…” She whispered. She looked up suddenly, sensing something, but she couldn’t pinpoint what if might have been. She shook her head, ‘Maybe its nothing..’ She thought turning to look at the items on her bed. She smiled to herself and started to get herself ready.

-Inu Yasha walked into the kitchen. He looked at Kagome’s mother, who had been cookie dinner and such for everyone. “Hello.” Kagome’s mother jumped a bit at the voice and turned around. “Inu Yasha, I’m so glad to see you, but you gave me quiet a scare there.” She laughed a bit and walked over to him. “Here let me take these for you…” She grabbed the items from his hands and went out side the kitchen, she set them down on the table next to the door, then returned to the kitchen.
“Kagome will be so happy that you’re here for her party.”
“Party?”
“Oh Inu Yasha. A party is when a whole group of people get together for one person to dance, hangout, talk, do anything really..”
“Oh…”
Kagome’s mother looked over Inu Yasha. He was wearing his unusually outfit. “Uh.. Here let me get you something more suitable to wear.” She turned around and started to walk out of the kitchen. “Follow me, please.” Inu Yasha nodded as he walked behind her. They both walked up the stairs and into a room across from Kagome’s room. The young dog demon stopped, he looked at her door smelling her sent, hearing her footsteps behind the door. “This way.” His ear twitched towards the mothers voice. He turned towards her and walked into the room. He watched her as she went to the closet, she slid it opened and grabbed a black suit. Inu Yasha tilted her head to the side and wondered. ‘Men clothing?..’ He straighten back up when she turned around holding the suit in one hand and a red tie in the other. “I think this might fit you.” She said laying the suit on the bed and the tie next to it. She leaned down and gabbed a medium sized box, black dress shoes. “Where these too,” She set the box on the bed next to the clothes.
“Just bring the tie down when your finished, I’ll tie it for you.” She smiled at him and walked out the door, closing it behind her.
The young dog demon sighed and walked over to the bed. He knew how to put everything on, Kagome had taught him how to. She taught him how to do a lot of things. He smiled at the thought. ‘I cant wait to see you..’ He thought then turned his attention back to the clothing. The young demon undressed and put the other cloths on. He looked into the mirror at himself. He still had the same look and hair style. He smiled at himself. “I look pretty damn good.” He laughed at himself then at the window. In a few moments the sun would be down and he would not look like his demon self. He sighed and closed his eyes. He ears disappeared as his white hair turned black, his clawed fingers shortened. He turned human.
Opening his eyes he looked into the mirror. His eyes that were once gold had turned brown. “Ha…I still look good.” He turned around and walked towards the bed.
Picking up the tie he turned around facing the door. He leaned down and searched through his pile of clothes, finding the box he smiled. He tucked it into his pocket as he walked out the door. Pausing for a moment he looked at Kagome’s door once more then walked down the stairs.
Entering the kitchen, he stopped at the door. “How do I look?” He said looking down at himself then back at the women. She turned around to face him, a bit confused for a moment she shook her head. He sure sounded at himself, just looked differently. ‘Most be something about the feudal aura.’ She thought to her self. “New moon, I turn human.” She nodded, now not confused any longer. She looked him over for a moment but when she reached his feet , she laughed a bit as she leaned down and tied his shoes. Leaning back up she grabbed the tie and slipped it onto his neck and tied it. “I’m going to see if Kagome is ready.” He nodded. She walked around Inu Yasha then stopped. She turned around and grabbed his hand. “Uhhh.” Inu Yasha looked at her with a confused look. “Stand here.” She said as she pulled him over to the foot of the stairs. “Don’t move a muscle.” She said with a stern look and walked up the stairs. “Yes Ma‘am…” He said standing straight. ‘Uhh… She scarier then Kagome..'

-Kagome looked at herself in the mirror when she finished getting ready. “Wow…When I clean up.. I clean up nice..” She said aloud with a laugh. She looked down at her shoes and looked at her heals. The straps tied around her ankle, they were about 3 inches high, and a shinny black. Walking over to her dresser she looked down at a gold locket laying over her jewelry box. She picked it up and kissed the locket. With a sigh of sadness she kissed it. A knock was heard from her door, and she jumped at the sound. “Kagome?” Her mother called from the other side of the door. “Come in.” Kagome said turning around as her mother entered the room. “Wow. Kagome you look stunning.” Her mother looked over her daughter then her eyes landed on the object she held in her hands. “Kagome..” Her mother’s voice was filled with concern.
“I’m alright… I.. I want to wear it.”
Her mother nodded and walked to her. She grabbed the necklace out of Kagome’s hands. The young miko looked at her mother with a confused look until her mother spoke. “Turn around.” Kagome did what she said. Kagome’s mother draped the necklace over her neck and hooked it. Kagome couldn’t help but smile at her mother through the mirror. “You look so grown up, Kagome.” Her mother smiled at her in return as a tear ran down her cheek. “Oh Mom.” Kagome turned around and whipped the tear away with her finger. She hugged her mother. “I’ll always be your little girl. No matter what…” Kagome’s mother smiled and hugged her daughter for a moment then pulled away. “ Common, I got a present for you down stairs.” She said as she walked towards the door. “Another one.” She smiled and walked behind her mother. Her mother stopped when she exited the door and moved to the side. She motioned her daughter to go ahead of her, Kagome nodded. She walked to the stairs and suddenly stopped. "Inu Yasha." She whispered, staring down at him. She took a step back, not believing what she was seeing.
The young dog demons mouth dropped opened. “Kagome?” He questioned. He gulped looking at her. ‘That is so not her..’ He thought to himself. The miko got herself together after a moment, she walked down the stairs and smiled at Inu Yasha. He watched her every step. He couldn’t resist staring at her. She reached the end of the stairs. Kagome’s mother walked behind her smiling. “You both look stunning.” She said and kissed her daughter on the cheek then her daughter. She walked around Inu Yasha and stood next to the sliding doors to the living room where all the guest were at. Kagome looked at Inu Yasha. “You clean up nice, Inu Yasha.” She smiled at him. He held out his arm for her to take, smiling back at her. She looped her arm through. “Thanks..” Kagome looked at the doors. ’I guess he didn’t notice…. Not even a, Oh You too!…. Or he is too stubborn to say anything.’ She thought trying to avert her eyes from him. She blinked a few times. ‘Wait.. He said thank you..’ For once in his life he had said thank you to her. ‘That’s…odd.’ She looked at him for a moment then started to walk towards the doors. “You look beautiful, Kagome.” Inu Yasha voice was heard, Kagome couldn’t believe her ear. She almost froze but she fought it and kept walking.
“Thanks..” She looked at him with a smile.
Her mother looked at them both as she slid the door opened. About 30 people stood in the living room talking. But as soon as the door opened they stopped talking and looked at the door that opened. Kagome and Inu Yasha walked into the room. The people clapped. All together they yelled, “Happy birthday, kagome!!!” Kagome smiled at them all, “Thank you so much, and thank you so much for coming. I’m glad that you all came.” She said aloud. The all started to talk again. Some coming up to her hugging her and saying happy birthday. Soon her 3 closest friends came up and hugged her.
“Happy Birthday, Sweetie!” On said as she let go of her.
“Thanks.”
The girls all looked at the man standing next to Kagome, not knowing who he was. Kagome looked at Inu Yasha then them. He had a plank expression on his face, and Kagome knew that he was about to say something, because he hated when people just stared at him not saying anything.
“Let me introduce you guys, this is Inu Yasha. “ Kagome said with a smile as she put her arm around him. He looked at her then at the girls. “That’s Inu Yasha..” They whispered to each other. “I’m not deaf you know, Yes I am Inu Yasha. What of it?’ His expression turned angry. “Inu Yasha.” Kagome pleaded. He looked down at her and sighed. “Sorry.” The girls looked at him then at Kagome then shook they’re heads.

-Kagome flopped onto her couch with a sigh. “Wow.. That was a great party..” She said aloud as she closed her eyes for a moment. Inu Yasha leaned against the wall looking out the doors. He turned his head back to look over his shoulder at Kagome.
The whole night was pretty much talking, other danced. Kagome danced once, but with her girlfriends. Inu Yasha didn’t really say much, Only ‘Hi’ When he was introduced to someone new. They all had cake and ice cream. Only a few moments ago, everyone had left.
The young miko sat up, she leaned down and took off her shoes. Standing up she walked over to Inu Yasha. She stood next to him in silence for a moment. A sigh escaped her lips. “How long are you staying?” She asked as she looked out at the stars above. “Whenever you want to go home…” He said continuing to look outside.
“Okay… “ She said turning around. “I’m going to bed, if you want you can sleep in my room on the floor, where you usually sleep…” Kagome felt Inu Yasha grab her arm and spin her around so she was looking up at him. Silence too over the two for a few moments. They stared into each other’s eyes. Inu Yasha slowly brought his hand up to cup her cheek. “Kagome…” Inu Yasha’s voice was calm.
“Yes.” Kagome was lost in his eyes. His face looked as if he was moving closer to her. ‘Are we…’ She paused in her thoughts.
“Happy Birthday…” He whispered then let go of her as he started to walk towards the stairs. Kagome stood there silent. ‘Is he leading me on or something!’ She thought as she took a deep breath and walked towards Inu Yasha as he was about to walk up the stairs. “SIT BOY!” He slammed into the ground face first.

“WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR!!!??” He said picking up his face to look at her. She ignored him. She walked over to her presents table and took the ones that stood out more. The ones in cloth. She figured it was from her friends back in the Feudal aura. She turned around and stepped over Inu Yasha as she made her way up the stairs. “Kagome!!” He yelled. She continued to ignore him. ‘Jerk..’ She thought as she entered her room setting the items on her bed. She turned around, walking over to her dresser, she took out her pjs and walked over to her bathroom. Slamming it behind her.
Inu Yasha soon entered as she slammed the door. He shook his head and saw his clothing laying on the bed. He sighed and quickly changed into them. He started to fold the suit he was wearing just a moment ago, as Kagome exited the bathroom. She had her regular pjs on and her hair was pulled back. She was just too tired to wash her face.
Inu Yasha looked up at her and set the clothes down on her dresser. He set the box next to the clothing. He also grabbed his testsusaiga as he sat down next to her dresser cross-legged. ’Kagome.. I‘m sorry..’ He thought looking outside the window. ‘I wanted to.. but I just…couldn’t..’ Kagome looked at him and sighed, she didn’t know what was going on between them, but she wanted to know badly.
She shook her head and climbed into bed. “Naraku.. Has a brother.” Inu Yasha’s voice was heard, Kagome sat up and looked at him. “What..? He has brother?” Inu Yasha nodded.
“He has the last of the jewel shards.. He took Kouga’s…” He sat there with his hands in his sleeves. “He looks so much like Naraku…. I couldn’t believe it at first.. But its him.”
“You want me to go back as soon as I can, don’t you?” Kagome sat there looking at him.
He sat there in silent for a moment then replied. “No.”
He looked at her presents on her bed. “Open them.” She nodded and grabbed the one that was from Miroku. Uniting the bow the cloth dropped apart. There laying on her lap was a carved block with a star on it, her name in the middle. She smiled to herself and ran her figure along the star. She liked it a lot.
Inu Yasha looked at her and a smile creped up onto his lips. ‘I love it when she smiles..’ He thought then he forced his smile to fade.
Kagome set the cloth and star on the nightstand and grabbed the next present that was from Songo. She untied the bow and a bow laid on her lap. It was long, with flowers carved on the top and bottom. She ran her fingers down the bow tracing the flowers. She smiled once more then laid her bow and the cloth onto the floor next to her. She grabbed the last one and opened it. A rose laid inside and a note. Opening it she read it.

Kagome smiled and couldn’t help but look at Inu Yasha. “What?”
“Nothing.” Kagome got off the bed, standing up she sat down the note and rose on her night stand as well. The young miko picked up the bow. Inu Yasha watched her, his eyes not leaving her.
Kagome took her stance and pointed the bow towards the window. She pulled back the string. It was tight. Tight enough to shoot a arrow at high speed. She began to think of the first time she came to the feudal aura. She couldn’t help but smile.
“What is it?”
“Nothing..”
“It has to be something, now what’s with the smile?”
“Just thinking of 3 years ago….I couldn’t even pull this back, even if I tried.”
“Ha! Yeah. But at least you knew how to aim…somewhat.”
Kagome nodded setting the bow on the dresser. She notice a small box. She picked up it and read the name. ‘From Inu Yasha.’ The young dog demon looked out the window noticing that she had found the box, sooner then he expected. “Inu Yasha!” She opened it, what laid inside was a silver necklace with a small ruby hung from it. Kagome looked down at Inu Yasha for a moment then leaned down and hugged him. But in the process she tackled him to the floor. “Thank you.” Kagome laid on top of him hugging him. The young dog demon froze for a moment. The wrapped his arms around her slowly. “Your welcome..” He whispered into her ear. Kagome pulled back her eyes locking with his. For a moment they laid there in silence. The young miko was the first to move. She stood up and put the box back on the dresser, with the necklace still inside. “Goodnight Inu Yasha.” She said and climbed into bed.
“Goodnight….Kagome.” He whispered.
