A sigh of relief escaped the miko’s lips. She had reach the hot springs. She dipped her foot into the warm water. “Mmm.. Just right..” She smiled and took her foot out of the water. “Thank yoouu..” She whispered. As she turned around. She undressed and folded her clothes. Setting them on the bolder beside her. She looked at the large hot spring. She stood there for a moment admiring the spring. Slowly she walked into the water. Goose bumps formed on he legs then her arms as she sat down in the water. “Mmm…” She moaned in satisfaction.
Closing her eyes she sighed. The young dog demon floated into her mind again. “Inu Yasha.” She whispered. In a moment or so, her thoughts cleared. She forced the dog demon out of her mind. She sighed as she stood up. She stretched her arms up and closed her eyes. The cold air sent a chill to her skin. She smiled, opening her eyes.
The young miko froze. “Inu Yasha.” She whispered
The young dog demon stood there outside the spring. They’re eyes locked. The young henyou stepped into the water. Not caring for his close. He put a arm around Kagome and pulled her close. Staring into her eyes he moved his face down a little. “Kagome..” He whispered. Kagome felt his warm breath brush against her lips. ‘Is that…Love?…noo.. that’s not Inu Yasha.. He loves Kikyo… not me..’ She thought her eyes slowing closing.
A smell filled the air. Inu Yasha pulled back sniffing it. Kagome opened her eyes, looking at him.
“What is it, Inu Yasha?”
Inu Yasha got out of the water quickly. “Stay here.” His voice became firm. He suddenly ran off towards the village.
Kagome sighed, getting out of the water. Drying off, she continued to think about Inu Yasha. ‘Almost… There is so many almost in my life.. But only one was fulfilled.’ She thought frowning. Kagome put back on her jeans and t shirt. Her shoes came next.
‘And he think I would listen to him.. hasn’t he learned by now.’ She thought as she began to walk towards the village.
As she got closer and closer to the village. The smoke became easier to smell. Reaching the top of the hill, she suddenly stopped. “Oh God… No..” She said as she looked at the fire that spread through the village. She spotted Inu Yasha on the other side of the village, he was fight a demon that could breathing fire at him. Kagome gasped. “Inu Yasha!” She yelled and started to run down the hill. But she ran into a invisible wall.
She fell backwards, as soon as she hit it, she lost her breath for a moment. Sitting up she started to breath again. “What is that..?” She said as she stood up touching it. “A…barrier…?”
Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her. She quickly turned around to see a man standing with his sword drawn. Kagome took a step back, hitting the barrier. “Papa…” She whispered and stood there frozen. A tear ran down her cheek then another. “Papa…What are you doing?” She said aloud looking at him. He ran towards her with his sword ready to attack. “AHHHH!!!” He yelled as he came at her.
Kagome moved to the side as the last minute. “WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!??!?!” She yelled. The barrier soon went down and Kagome didn’t waste any time. She ran down the hill. “INU YASHA!!!” She screamed in fear.
Inu Yasha looked back seeing Kagome running down the hill and a man behind her with a sword. “KAGOME!!!” He yelled. He turned towards the beast as it blew its flame again. Inu Yasha didn’t hesitate. He drew his sword back. “BACKLASH WAVVVEEE,” He yelled. His sword flew to the ground a fight coming from it. The demon soon disappeared. Inu Yasha sighed in relief then ran towards Kagome.
The young miko down the hill, dodging each swing of the sword. As she ran she didn’t see the rock in her path, with a scream she tripped over the rock. She rolled down the hill knocking her head hard on a rock at the bottom of the hill.
The man saw blood run down her head, he smiled then sheathed his sword. Walking away he disappeared.
The young dog demon reached Kagome. He saw her helpless body. “Kagome.. No.. Kagome!” He picked her up, holding her in his arms. He whipped the blood from her head with his sleeve and ran off away from the village.
He reached a nearby cave, he slowed himself down and started to walk. Walking into the cave, he saw the villagers inside. Some were injured but Lady Kaede had already tended to them. Songo turned to see them enter. She gasped. “Kagome!… What happened, Inu Yasha?” She said as she ran over to him, Miroko right behind her. He laid her down on a blanket Songo had laid down. “Take care of her, I’ll be back later.” He said as he ran off.

Night soon falling and went. Kaede had cleaned up the young miko as Songo and Miroku sat near by. Songo was so worried she almost started to cry. Miroku held her tight.
The woman awoken that morning. She rubbed her eyes and stretched. Opening her brown eyes, she peered at the faces staring down at her. A man, a old woman, a young one, and some type of animal. The woman felt a sharp pain to through her mind. Her hand reached up to rub her temple.
“Ye, Child, are you alright?” The older woman said with worry in her voice
“My…My head hurts a lot..” She moaned in reply.
“Kagome, what happened?” The young women asked staring down at her.
“Ka…go…me..” She whispered, ‘Is that my name?’ She wondered as she looked at the woman in confusion. She sat up, feeling a hand behind her helping her, she looked at it and followed the arm to its owner. A young man with shoulder length hair, that it was tied in a pony tail. Someone could easily see he was a monk, from his robs, and staff he held in his right hand.
“Uhhh, thank you..” The woman said as she was about to stand up. The old woman’s hand went out in front of her. “You should stand up, Lady Kagome..” The old woman said.
“Kagome, why do you keep calling me that..” She said, the old woman looked at her in confusion,.
“Because that’s your name, silly.” The young demon said in a cheery voice.
“Name…”She thought long and hard for a moment, only causing her more pain. “Yeah that’s my name.”
“Kagome, are you alright? What happened earlier?” The monk asked still having his hand on her back just incase she fell back.
Kagome looked at the four that kept looking at her, questions started to run through her mind. “Who are you?” She asked with confusion in her voice.
They all looked at each other then back at Kagome. “We’re you’re friends…Don’t you know us?” Tears appeared in Songo’s eyes. Kagome frowned. “I’m sorry, but I do not remember any of you..”
“Ye, Child, hit your head pretty hard then.”
“Kagome…Do you remember anything that happened to you just a moment ago?” The concerned monk said.
“Kagome, are you going to be okay?” Shippo looked at Kagome with tears also showing up in his eyes.
“Just stop, Please, Stop it with all the questions, I don’t know what happen, or who I am!” Kagome yelled as she got up and started to run away from the group with tears flowing down from her eyes.
“KAGOME!!” The group yelled.
“Stay here Lady Kaede, you too Shippo!” Called Miroku as he and Songo started to run after the crying girl. Kagome continued to run, as fast as she could, not caring for the cuts and scratches she was obtaining from the branches and bushes. ‘Why do they have to ask so many questions!?!?’ she thought to herself as she ran. ‘My head hurts so much..’ Half the tears the young miko was pouring out was because of the pain, the other was because she didn’t know who she was. The two continuing to run after her, but Kagome had a bit of a head start on them, so as they ran they only say a small figure running away from them.
“I think we pushed it too hard, Songo.” The young monk glanced at the demon slayer beside him.
“I think so too….Has she lost here memory because she hit her head on something.?” She said to the young monk as they ran
.“Perhaps. Lets not talk about it now, Songo, lets just try and catch up to her.”

Kagome continue to run, her vision a bit blurry because of the tears. Suddenly darkness engulfed her as she ran into a darkened forest. She continued to run, using her hands to guide her through. Her paced slowed trying to find her way through the dark. ‘Where am I?’ She cried.
Song and Miroku reached the edge of the forest. Looking within it they stopped.
“Oh….god…Miroku.”
“The Dark Forest….We can’t go in there.”
“We have to at least try and find her, or Inu Yasha will have out heads!”
“But how can we find her, no light shines in that forest.”

The Dark forest. A place where no light shown. Only things that could see in the dark ventured into it. Not even fire that entered the forest would stay lit for long. The trees blocked the sunlight from entering, and that evil spirits that lingered there kept the curse on the forest. So no light would be in or entering.
“Lets go!!” Songo grabbed Miroku’s hand quickly and ran into the forest, slowly her pace to a walk as she did.
“Songo.. We have to turn back, we cant see a thing, and were not the top of the food chain here you know!” Miroku said with a hint of fear in his voice.Songo sighed. “Lets turn back.” As then retraced their steps they ventured out of the forest. They stood there for a moment, staring at the forest, in silence.“What are we going to do now?” asked the sadden slayer.
“We have to go back to the cave and wait for Inu Yasha.”
With that, they turned around and started to walk back to the cave.

Inu Yasha stood in the middle of the village sniffing there air. “DAMNIT!” He yelled as he looked around. He had spent the whole time trying to find that man that hand tried to hurt Kagome or even worse, kill her. ‘Where the hell did he go? DAMNIT ALL TO HELL!’ He yelled inside his mind. “I will find him, and damn well kill him…” He paused for a moment, anger appearing into his eyes. “How dear he hurt my Kagome.” He said aloud as he started to run off towards the cave. After a few moments he arrived at the cave, as soon as he did, Songo and Miroku ran over to him. Inu Yasha looked around for a moment. “Where the hell is Kagome!?” He yelled, all the faces turned to look at him.
“Inu Yasha….Kagome has lost her memory… And… when she awoken and said her head hurt… We all started to ask too many questions..” Miroku paused for a moment ad looked towards the Dark forest. “And she ran off… Towards the Dark Forest… well.. Into it.”
“We tired to go after her but when we went inside, we couldn’t see a thing.” Songo said quickly.
“WHAT!!!!! YOU MEAN TO TELL ME YOU LOST KAGOME!!! I LEAVE HER WITH YOU GUYS FOR A LITTLE AWHILE AND YOU LOSEE HER!!” Inu Yasha yelled and started to run off towards the Forest.
“INU YASHA!!” Miroku called as he started to run after him. Reaching the forest the three stopped. They watched as the young hen ou sniffed the air. “Damn it all to hell! I can’t smell her sent at all…” He said angrily. ‘Don’t die on me Kagome.. Dont you dare die on me..”
