Reaching Kaede's village, Inuyasha rushed to find the older woman. When he finally found her taking care of an injured child, he waited as patiently as he could for her to finish and go to her hut. He kept thinking of how to explain this to her. How do you ask for the Shikon no Tama? He would never get it unless he told her all that has happened to Kagome. He already stopped to see Miroku and Sango on the way back. Explaining what he could to them, that his Kagome was kidnapped by Sesshoumaru for a twisted reason. They questioned Inuyasha if it was to get back at him for Testsuiga, but Inuyasha knew the answer to that, ecspecially after seeing that youkai touch HIS Kagome! After Sango fed him some ramen left over from Kagome's last visit, he left knowing he had help from Miroku and Kirara if he needed it. Sango practically begged to come help herself, but in the end knew she could not. Now if only he could get the Shikon No Tama from Kaede. How? Inuyasha kept thinking. How? He kept berating himself because he knew he had to hurry, he had to get Kagome out of that castle before irreputable harm was done to her. If it wasn't already done. NO! He had to stop thinking that way. Even if something happened, she was still his damnit! He still loved her, and wanted her with him! He would kill his brother, that is the only way to make sure this ends now!
Finally Kaede left the hut. "Inuyasha, have you found Kagome yet? Did she return to her own time?" Kaede asked.
Growling slightly Inuyasha responded, "Yes, Sesshoumaru has her Kaede. We need to talk now, I want her back, and I want him gone! I need the Shikon no Tama."
Kaede widened her eyes at this, she felt a bad aura lately, but not something like this. Whatever did Sesshoumaru want with Kagome? If it was Testsuiga, why does Inuyasha need the Shikon no Tama? Sighing, and thinking she was too old for sibling rivalry she said, "Come Inuyasha, tell me what has happened. I fear this may have much more behind it than I thought." She walked into her hut, and Inuyasha followed.
As Inuyasha explained what he saw was happening so far and his plan, Kaede felt sorry for him. He really did love Kagome. Maybe his plan would work, as long as he got rid of this vengeful spirit inside of him. If he fought his brother with vengence instead of his love for Kagome, he would be defeated. "Inuyasha, give me time to think on what you have said. Give me two days to decide if I will give you the Shikon no Tama for your wish of having a youkai strength within you. Remember what happens when you do not have Testsugia, Inuyasha? Your demon half overpowers you. The same could happen with the Shikon no Tama. What good will you be then for Kagome? Give up this need for vengence and focus on Kagome. I believe only that will save her and you."
"Two days! Old hag, we have no time for that! Think of what could happen in two days! We need to get Kagome now. Please." Inuyasha pleaded suddenly. "Kaede, please. I need her back. I am afraid of what he is doing to her. She looked so sad when I seen her in the window."
Sighing Kaede responded, "Inuyasha, have you told her you loved her?" Seeing him shake his head, Kaede continued on,"I will give you my answer tomorrow. For now I must pray to the gods for the right path. As you know the Shikon no Tama is greatly desired, and can not be tainted. Needing revenge while using it will taint it, and only Kagome can purify it. Return here tomorrow Inuyasha. Go find others to help in your plan until then." With that said, Inuyasha had to accept her words, and think on them as well. Everything that old hag said was right. He needs to think of Kagome, and how he loves her, he should have told her. Now he wants to tear his half brother to pieces! Growling he stalked off into the night looking for wimpy wolf and his pack. After seeing them, it was time to check on Kagome again.

"Ka..go..me!" Sesshoumaru growled when she bit his neck causing him to finish early. Collasping next her and his breathing heavy, he laughed. Actually laughed! "What did I do to deserve that my little minx?" He growled into her throat.
She blushed, and responded with ease, "You were taking too long, so I figured I would speed things up a little bit." After having made love three more times last night, she learned some of his weak spots. One was his neck, and the other his lower back. Sesshoumaru reached for her again and she quickly jumped out of the bed. Squealing with delight as he chased her around the room. Somehow after making her decision, things didn't seem so bad. He actually seemed happier, and kinder to her, and she, well... She was starting to like him as a person, not just a body. During those times in between their love making, he sat rubbing her back, and just talking about his childhood, the good and the bad. She wished Inuyasha would do that. He never wanted to talk to her. It was always argument after argument. Yet she did enjoy the fights at times, because he would get that serious look in his eyes when he felt bad about something. He always looked like he wanted to tell her something important, or do something to her, but never did.
Engrossed in her thoughts, she forgot she was being chased and was caught, and swung into the air above Sesshoumaru's head, her black hair framing her face. As he let her feet touch the floor, he looked at her with a most heartfelt smile and whispered in her ear, "You make me happy. Please never leave." and kissed her with such tenderness that Kagome felt tears in her eyes.
How can someone change like this over night? When he kidnapped me, he was so harsh to me. Oh no, Kagome. You do care for him! No, I can't! He stole me and made my body bend to his will. I love Inuyasha! I can't love his brother too! Oh god! She cried into her mind. Whatever was she to do? This whole thing of leaving her guard down and getting him to let her free, backfired. REALLY backfired. She was so confused now. I just want to cry!
Sesshoumaru noticing her tension looked at her with concern and questioned, "What are you thinking that makes you so upset?" When she looked at him quickly and dropped her head, he knew. It was that damn hanyou again! "Why, Kagome? Why him and not me?" He asked wounded. "What has he ever done but put you through hell when Kikyo was still here! Do you think his attentions would be what they are now if Naraku hadn't killed her? At least with me there is no other woman! I didn't try to choose between you and someone who was already dead! I chose you because of Rin. Then I chose you because of the strength you have in yourself." Something that looked suspiciously like hurt came into his eyes when he left the room.
Kagome fell to the floor crying and thinking a lot about what he had just said. He was right. Inuyasha never cared about her this much until after Kikyo died...again. She thought dryly. He never made any verbal or physical actions that he cared except once in a while, and usually that was when she wanted to go home. She knew Inuyasha cared for her, but did he love her? She loved him, but should she pass up a chance to be with someone that seemed like they truly wanted her? Someone who made her feel needed as more than a Shikon shard hunter? Someone she could maybe have a definite future with? She knew then what her answer would be when Inuyasha demanded her back. If only he... he would never admit that. Yet if he did... then maybe...maybe my answer will change.

Leave me reviews to who Kagome should be with! It seems this little woman has herself in a big pickle right now. She loves both of them, but who should she choose? Sesshy is right when it comes to all the things Inuyasha did to her, yet Inuyasha obviously does love her but never said anything. Yet look at what Sesshy did to get her! Is this thing between Sesshy and Kagome just a temporary love where both will get burned, or is it something more? What did she decide to tell Inuyasha when he came to get her back? READ ON!
