Here we go again, sorry this chapter is so short, but I couldn't think of anything to write after that. I will be working on Chapter 7 soon though, I have to recollect my thoughts. I decided the way I wanted to end this story was too sappy, so lol, back to the drawing board!

As Inuyasha was on the way back to the castle to see if he could find out how Kagome was, he sensed he was being followed. Jumping into a tree, he sensed it was Sesshoumaru tracking him. Damnit! He thought to himself. He knows I am here. I am not ready to fight him yet. What to do?
“Hanyou! Come out here. I can smell your dirty blood, come out and face me now!” Sesshoumaru demanded. Sesshoumaru did his best to follow Inuyasha when he saw him racing in the woods towards his lair. Wondering what the hanyou was up to, he tried to masked his scent, but apparently it wasn’t enough. That damn nose of his worked nearly as well as a full blooded youkai.
Shit, Shit, Shit. Thought Inuyasha. There was nothing he could do but face him. He did not want his brother thinking he was a coward. “What do you want Sesshoumaru?” Inuyasha asked quietly as he jumped from the tree to the ground in front of his brother. “Where is Kagome!” He spit at him with barely controlled anger.
“Inuyasha, do not worry yourself over her. She is my mate now. Go back and forget her. Find yourself another human that can tolerate the smell of a half blood.” Sesshoumaru growled. Watching his brother with cautious eyes, he saw when he mentioned the word mate, he seemed in pain. Good. Sesshoumaru told himself. He deserves to be in pain.
“You bastard! How dare you take what was mine! How dare you do that to her! Why did you take her? You, yourself make it plain your dislike for humans and for half bloods. What do you think your pup to her would be, huh?! Just like me! A dirty hanyou!” Inuyasha said with heated emotion. It galled him to think of Kagome having his brother’s pup, but the chance was already there since he had taken Kagome’s beautiful body. It disgusted him to even think of what Kagome was put through. “I should kill you here where you stand, Sesshoumaru.” Inuyasha snarled. “First Tetsugia, now MY KAGOME….” In a blinding rage, Inuyasha attacked at Sesshoumaru with his sankotetsou.
Easily sidestepping the attack, Sesshoumaru used his poison claw to swiftly attack his brother. Inuyasha was thrown back from the attack and temporarily stunned. Finally when he regain his footing he charged after his brother again. Growling at each other like a pair of dogs fighting for territory, they continued to claw at one another. When Inuyasha released Tetsugia, he tried attacking Sesshoumaru with Kaze no Kizu. Just barely moving out of the way of the attack, Sesshoumaru sliced Inuyasha’s arm with his light whip that came from his nails. Dropping Testugia, Inuyasha swore under his breath. He knew he was not strong enough to defeat his brother yet. Now he would be killed for his foolishness and Kagome would never know he loved her.
“Inuyasha. Leave. Never come back. If you do, I will kill you. I spare you this time only for her sake.” With a disgusted look at what he just did, Sesshoumaru took off with speed through the forest to his castle. Why? He thought as he ran to his home. I have wanted nothing but to kill Inuyasha and take Tetsugia. Why did I spare him? Kagome. He swore at his thoughts. What did this woman do to him in such a short period of time? He must take control back, he will not, no matter how much he cared for her, let a human change who he was. Racing into his castle, he went in search of the woman who had stayed his hand by just the thought of her and how she would feel if he would have killed Inuyasha.

Inuyasha was in shock. That was the only way he could describe what just happened. Why would he spare me? After all this time, my death was what he wanted. There wasn’t even anyone around who could have prevented it from happening this time. Pushing himself to his feet with the assistance of Tetsugia, Inuyasha heeded Sesshoumaru’s warning for now. He would have to heal and hopefully receive the Shikon no Tama before he had another encounter with his half-brother. Kaede was right though, he could not fight out of revenge, he just wanted to fight for his lost love Kagome. He needed her back. With a small howl of pain and loneliness, Inuyasha returned to the village. Kagome, be safe. I miss you. Inuyasha thought.

Poor Inuyasha, this is so sad how much he wants back Kagome. What would Sesshoumaru do now with her? She is causing him to be weak in his mind. Will there be a confrontation? Will he decide he can’t have her around? Unlikely, after all that has happened between them but you never know. Until then… Chapter 7 is in the works!
