As Inuyasha ran he could tell he was close to wimpy wolf’s tribe. He could stay there as long as Kouga would keep his hands and eyes off of Kagome. Even though he was finally mated with Aymae, Kouga still held love for Kagome. “Kagome, you okay back there?” Inuyasha asked softly when he felt her grip slipping.
“Hmmm? Yes, I was actually drifting off to sleep.” Kagome yawned. “Could we stop for a while?”
“Sure.” Gently helping Kagome off his back and settling her to the ground, Inuyasha listened carefully to the surrounding area to make sure Sesshoumaru or any other dangerous youkai weren’t nearby. Sensing no danger close, Inuyasha turned to Kagome and said, “Will you be okay alone? I will go find us food and water. No danger is close by, so you will be fine.”
“Oh. Yes, I should be okay, please don’t leave me for too long. I don’t want to be alone anymore.” Kagome quietly pleaded.
Inuyasha bent down in front of her, staring into Kagome’s eyes. They were filled with fear, and guilt. Why would she feel guilty? he wondered. Giving Kagome his robe for warmth, he went to stand up and was suddenly caught in Kagome’s grasp. “What is it?” Inuyasha questioned.
“I…I missed you Inuyasha. I am just scared is all.” A tear silently fell down her cheek. Inuyasha bent down once again, and took her chin between his fingers to lift her head to stare at him. Noticing her tear, he wiped it away, gently stroking her cheek in the process. How come he had never touched her like this before? Kagome thought.
“Kagome…I…” Inuyasha stopped there as his eyes filled with warmth and he bent down to kiss her. He wanted to tell her he loved her, but couldn’t. Not after all she has been through. Yet the temptation of her lips mixed with the trust she had for him, he couldn’t resist even if he had tried. He didn’t want to try though, he was tired of suppressing any attraction he felt for her. If he wouldn’t have been such a coward in the first place, none of this would have happened.
Surprised by Inuyasha’s mouth on her own, Kagome pushed herself back a little bit. Yet as she did, he put his arms around her to deepen their kiss, almost like he was trying to make it go on forever. It was tender, sweet and filled with love, she could tell. It wasn’t anything like when Sesshoumaru kissed her, the fierce need he had to possess her and bend her to his will. “Inuyasha.” She whispered with a suppressed longing.
When she said his name with such love, he thought his heart would burst. My Kagome, he thought to himself, my sweet Kagome. Pushing her gently to the ground, he heard a nervous breath escape her. Sweetly he kissed her closed eyes, and moved his warm lips to her neck, nipping gently with his fangs. He could smell the sudden change in her scent as he withdrew and looked into her eyes. Eyes that were now filled with longing and passion. Sensing he could continue, he carefully took his hands down the length of her small body, touching briefly, and memorizing every spot.
As Kagome lay there entranced in the warmth he awakened in her, she felt his hands move over her body. She wanted to give in to him, wanted to show him the love she had, but she had a fierce need to tell him what had happened to her before it had gone to far and he found out for himself. Being with Sesshoumaru had awakened the woman inside of her, and all she wanted to do was give that woman to Inuyasha, to let him claim her totally, body and soul. He had to be told, she thought firmly. Feeling his hands move to he breasts she stopped him gently and on a sigh said, “Inuyasha, stop, I need to tell you something, please listen to me…”.
“Shh, shh, Kagome, I already know. You don’t need to tell me what happened, I already know.” Kissing her again to silence, Inuyasha began touching her breasts again to show it did not matter to him, that he still wanted her just the way she was.
He still wants me! Thought Kagome. He knows and he still wants me. Her heart filled with even more love for this hanyou. Leaving down the last of her guard, she brought Inuyasha’s lips to hers, kissing him deeply. Feeling him try to remove her kimono, she assisted him, never once taking her gaze off of his. When she was naked beneath him, she heard his sharp intake of breath.
“You are a true beauty, Kagome.” He swiftly removed his own clothing, as Kagome eyes widened when she noticed his raging desire for her. Leaning over her, he kissed her again and then moved his lips lower, leaving a fiery trail of kisses on the upper length of her body. He suckled her nipples until they turned into hard dusky peaks. Her moan was near a whisper, when he felt her grab his hair and tangle her long fingers into it. “Tell me Kagome, please. I need to know this is what you want.” Inuyasha said quietly. He would not continue until she gave her consent.
“Please.” Was all she could choke out. Her body felt as if it was on fire, as if every time his lips or hands touched her, he ignited a deep hidden longing to the surface. As she felt Inuyasha settle himself between her legs, she could feel his arousal seeking her now wet entrance. As he pushed himself inside her, she cried out.
“Did I hurt you?” He asked suddenly afraid.
“No.” She giggled slightly, as she realized he didn’t know she had climaxed just by his entrance. Shifting her hips to get more accommodated to him, she brought his head to her, kissing him to show she was ready to continue, that everything was okay, that she trusted him.
Understanding her actions, Inuyasha started a gentle rhythm into her passage. Soon though, the need turned to something fierce as he quickened his strokes and pushed into her harder. As she moaned as sighed between kisses, he felt her scalding heat squeeze him tightly and then release and start over again. With one last thrust he cried out loudly and spent himself into her. Collapsing onto her he felt her hands gently stroking his back. When he pushed himself up on his elbows, he saw her smile.
“I love you, Inuyasha.” She said as she stared into his eyes. She said it, she thought. She actually told Inuyasha she loved him!
Shocked by her innocent remark, Inuyasha felt something wet in the corner of his eyes. Tears! Her admission of love to him, was felt all the way to his heart. She loved him, he cried into his mind.
Tell her, he thought. He must tell her. “Kagome,” Holding her close. “I… lo…”
“Well isn’t this a touching scene!” Interrupted a familiar voice. “Kagome, my dear, what are you doing with this hanyou?”
Kagome stiffened at the voice. Damnit, she swore, Inuyasha was going to say it. She knew it, he had started to, until HE found them. Suddenly Inuyasha sat up and grabbed his robe to cover them from the now prying eyes. “Ahhh, Wimpy wolf, I see you have found us. You have the worse timing though.” growled Inuyasha.
“Yes, well, I knew I could smell you dog face. I see that things have gotten, umm.. Better between you two?” He grinned. “Come, get yourselves dressed and visit with Aymae and me.” He stared at Kagome. If he wouldn’t have noticed how deep the love was between them two when Naraku was killed, he would have taken Kagome from this hanyou. Yet he knew he never stood a chance in hell with her, as long as dogface was around.
“Umm, Kouga-kun?” Kagome said quietly.
“Hmm?” Kouga responded, brought out of his thoughts.
“Turn around please.” Kagome stated.
Laughing, Kouga turned so they could get dressed, when they were done, Inuyasha lifted Kagome onto his back so they could head out. Before they started though, he could see her blush before she hid her face into Inuyasha’s hair. “Lets go.” Kouga said before running off. He could sense someone else in the woods, which is why he followed Inuyasha’s scent. He wanted to tell him, he caught the scent of Sesshoumaru close by.

Awwww, Kagome told Inuyasha she loved him, and Inuyasha almost admitted his love, until Kouga interrupted them. I wonder if Sesshy was closer than they thought though? Maybe because of being obviously distracted, Inuyasha let his guard down and didn’t sense his half brother nearby. Who knows… Chapter 9 will be out soon!
