It's been two weeks since Koga had the accident and he hadn't gotten better. Kagome walked down the halls in the hospital. Every time she came here she got a chill up her spine, she didn't care for hospitals. The smell of death and sickness wasn't apparent but she knew it was there. Crying, screaming, and blood; it was a horrible place! Yet, she had to come when she had time. No fear of hospitals will keep her away from Koga. Kagome knew her way around the halls and knew all the nurses too. She also knew not to eat the cafeteria food and nurse Kim was bad news. Kagome went into Koga's usual room and the bed was empty, Koga wasn't there. Kagome had a freaking out moment, and then called franticly fro the nurse.

“Where is he?” Kagome asked, the nurse had brought her a cup of water so she could calm down.

“He got transferred to intensive care, his condition has worsened.” Kagome stiffened, “If you go up to his new room the doctor will explain.” The nurse explained as Kagome slowly sipped her water.

Kagome slowly headed to Koga's new room, He's got worse? But he was doing so well! I hope he hasn't got to bad. Kagome entered Koga's new room, more wires. Kagome started getting used to the wires connected to him so she wasn't as shocked.

“Hi honey,” Kagome said, she believed he could here her. “It's me, Kagome,” Kagome took a seat by Koga's bed and brushed his hair. He sweated a lot so she wiped his sweat and stoked his tail. “Please get better…” Kagome said quietly and a couple tears rolled down her cheeks.

Inuyasha looked out his office window; the city was gloomy and gray. Rain poured from the sky and splashed on to his window. Inuyasha sipped his coffee as he walked back to his desk and looked at his mail. Bill, bill, love letter from Kikyo, bill… A letter from Shess? Inuyasha opened the letter slowly and took out the letter.

Dear HALF Brother,

Rin and I are throwing a Thanksgiving dinner for the family and a few of my clients. And as much as I deny it you are my HALF brother and Rin insisted that you come. We ask that you bring Shippo, your fiancé, and a couple people that you wish. Make sure to tell your so-called- fiancé (Kikyo) to behave her self and not to flirt with the clients and/or the family. You know how Uncle Neil is lonely, Rin however wants to meet Kikyo so don't make her sad. Contact Rin or I with the number of people you want to bring.

Inuyasha sighed, he knew the letter was coming but he hoped it wouldn't. “So-called-fiancé?” what does he's playing at? Why did he put “HALF” in capital letters? I should just throw away the letter and not go to his stupid party! But I wouldn't give him that satisfaction. Inuyasha put down the letter, he would only have to bring Shippo and Kikyo, who else did he have to bring? Inuyasha leaned back in his chair; only one person came to mind…Kagome. But why did she have to come? Shippo needed company and someone to watch over him, Kagome also needed the money. Its final Kagome should come. Inuyasha picked up the phone and dialed Shess's number, Rin please answer!

“Sesshomaru here!” Shess's said. Inuyasha cursed himself.

“It's Inuyasha,”

“Oh, Little Brother, so how many people are you bringing?” Shess asked coldly.

“Only one more,” Inuyasha said simply.

“One more than I expected, since when have you become popular?” Shess chuckled.

“She's Shippo's nanny,” Inuyasha thought, “I'll ask my partner Miroku if he can come, he might bring a girl,” Inuyasha said.

“Fantastic!” Rin's voice ringed.

“Rin?” Inuyasha asked confused.

“Yea, isn't neat Inuyasha? Shessy showed me how to three way call! Right Shessy?” Rin explained happily.

Inuyasha chuckled at Shess's new nickname. “Yes dear,” Shess answered.

“The more the merrier! Invite more Inuyasha!” Rin said.

“I don't think I'll invite anymore, but I'll let you know,” Inuyasha said trying to stop laughing.

“If you say so, well, say bye bye Shessy! You have to meet me at Mimi's house!” Rin said.

“Yes dear, bye,” Shess said softly.

“Bye Inuyasha! I can't wait to see you at the party!” Rin said and they hung up.

Inuyasha put down the phone and chuckled a little more.

“Mr. Inuyasha, your fiancé is here to see you.” Inuyasha secretary's voice said.

“Bring her in,” Inuyasha said back into the communicating device.

Shortly after Kikyo came in, she walked around Inuyasha's desk and sat on his lap. She gave him a long passionate kiss; Inuyasha was just enjoying it was she stopped.

“I need money,” Kikyo said.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes, “What for?”

“I need some new shoes! And Ramon needs a new outfit.” Kikyo's dog's head out of Kikyo's bag and barked at Inuyasha. “Hi Ramon! Did you say hi to Daddy?” Kikyo said to the dog. Kikyo smiled at Inuyasha.

“You want me to pay for an outfit for the dog?” Inuyasha asked frustrated.

“Don't you want me to be happy?” Kikyo got up from Inuyasha's lap and put her hands on her hips. “Aren't I more important than money?”

“You know what? I'm not sure if you are!” Inuyasha got up from his chair.

Ramon growled. “You don't mean that!” Kikyo gasped.

Inuyasha's secretary came in with Kagome and Shippo. “You brother and his nanny are here.” She said.

“Um, I hope we're not interrupting anything,” Kagome said.

“No, your not! I was just leaving!” Kikyo said angry and picked up her purse and with a flip of her hair she was out the door.

Shippo was about to laugh but Kagome gave him a look and he kept it in. Inuyasha was at his desk rubbing his temples.

“Are you okay?” Kagome asked and put Shippo on to a big chair.

“Does it look like I'm okay?” Inuyasha said harshly.

“Sorry,” Kagome said sassy and rolled her eyes at him.

“I think I demand a little more respect than this!” Inuyasha brought his fist down on his desk.

“I was just thinking the same thing,” Kagome said getting annoyed.

Inuyasha sighed and saw Shippo spinning in a chair, “Oh, Shippo, Shess invited us to his Thanksgiving party,” Inuyasha said in a grumpy voice.

Shippo stopped spinning, “Really? I get to see Shess? I miss him! I miss the uncles, aunts, and cousins too!” Shippo said and smiled widely.

“Sounds fun Shippo,” Kagome said. She smiled and spun his chair.

Inuyasha got up and stopped Shippo's chair. “Kikyo is coming too.” Inuyasha said and rubbed his temples at the thought.

“Oh, Inuyasha! Does she have too?” Shippo asked and crossed his arms.

“She's practically part of the family!” Inuyasha insisted.

“Well if she's considered family, then Kagome is like my mom! She has to come too!” Shippo explained and smiled at Kagome.

“Don't worry I already made the arrangements, Kagome's coming too.” Inuyasha said and raised one of his eyebrows at her.

“But what if I had plans?” Kagome blurted out.

“Do you?” Inuyasha asked.

Kagome thought, I was going to see Koga on Thanksgiving but other than that I didn't have any plans. All of my friends had their own families to celebrate with. I guess I can just visit Koga the day before and go with Inuyasha and Shippo. “No,” Kagome said defeated.

“Then we don't have any problems,” Inuyasha said coolly and got out his PDA. “You'll need some nice clothes, you dress so… common,”

“Is that a problem? I am a nanny, I can't take care of Shippo in a floor length dress!” Kagome said and put her hands on her hips.

“I know that! But you have to look presentable for these people.” Inuyasha explained.

“Fine! But who exactly are these people?” Kagome asked.

“Clients, snobs, whores, gold diggers, smart asses… that kind of people,” Inuyasha explained.

“Oh,” Kagome said and Shippo smiled.

“Kagome's coming! Kagome's coming! Kagome's coming! Kagome's coming….” Shippo cheered and spun in his chair.

Miroku took a bite out of his donut, Inuyasha gave him the day off and he didn't know what to do with him self. He just drove and ate… and drove and ate. He was taking a bite of his donut, when he looked up he was driving straight toward a girl in the middle of the street. He threw a side his donut and slammed on the brakes just in time. The girl jumped in fright.

“God! Watch where you going!” She yelled at him.

“Sorry,” Miroku said simply but the girl ignored him and kept walking. She was very beautiful; she had a long ponytail and a great body. Miroku parked his car to the side and followed after her. “Hey!” he shouted when she came in sight.

She turned around and saw it was the man that almost hit her. “What?” She asked and pulled her purse closer to her.

“I wanted you to take my apologies, and if words don't work, I would like to treat you to a nice dinner.” Miroku said and winked at her. “I hope I didn't harm your goddess body,”

“What are you playing at? Are you some kind of lecher?” she said suspicious.

“Oh no, I just was being a gentleman, and as a gentleman I forgot my manners. My names Miroku,” He said, “And yours,”

“Sango,” She said and he grabbed her hand and kissed it. Sango's face turned bright red and pulled away. “Maybe… dinner would be nice,” Sango said.

“Great! Lets go back to my car,” He said and Sango followed him.
