Just after Kagome entered the house out side with the fights.

Sesshoumaru pinned Yura to the roof of the well house. "Why do you want Kagome?!" He said in a rather gruff voice. "Why should I tell you?" Yura squirmed under him trying to get free. "Stop moving and answer me bitch!" He held her hands down. "I don't think you should be telling me what to do." She tried to free her hands but found that Sesshoumaru was much stronger than she is. He slapped her across the face. A red spot formed on her right cheek. "I want answers now!" He said loud enough to make her deaf. When he had slapped her, her head snapped to her side and she took in a quick breath. "I will not tell you." She slowly turned her head to meet his gaze. Her eyes became cold unlike they were a minute ago, like she was having fun fighting him.

"Sesshoumaru! Take over for Inuyasha! Kagome disappeared and he think that she went inside!" His father turned toward him after using the blunt end of the sword to knock both Naraku and Kagra back. 'What is that bitch thinking!' Sesshoumaru thought as he knock Yura unconscious. He jumped off the well house gracefully and landed on his feet unlike Kagome had done only seconds later. "Hey! Your fights with me now!" Sesshoumaru shouted at the ogre and girl as he threw a couple of good sized rocks at them. He made his yellow energy whip appear and slashed at the ogre. Unfortunately the ogre dodged and hit him to the ground.

Inuyasha, seeing his chance, ran into the house through the back for the front door was now completely on fire. As he ran inside the lights overhead exploded and he had to cover his head with his arms as he ran around the pieces of burning furniture that by now were just a piles of burning ashes. He ran up the back stairs just as Kagome was coming down the front stairs. He looked around the hall and saw two rooms with busted doors. The smoke was soon becoming to powerful for his delicate nose. He brought the sleeve of his shirt up to his face and coughed as he started to walk down the hall. A huge beam of wood that looked like the support beam to the house's roof fell right down the middle of the hall way. 'That was close.' He thought as he watched it make a slight indent in the floor. The floor slowly started to cave in s he ran down the hall. "Kagome!" He yelled but it was a futile attempt as the roar of the fire had drowned it out. 'Damn! What could be so important that she just had to come in here!' He thought as his knotted silver hair got caught on a piece of wood sticking out of the wall. He wrestled with his long hair trying to get it untangled. Finally he broke free from the door. He entered what looked like a girl's bedroom and could tell that she had just been here because of the stuff thrown all over the room. "Shit!" He yelled and turned on heel to the door and noticed a room across the hall also had its door knocked down. He noticed that water had been running because the room was now flood and the water was slowly seeping onto the carpet. At this time Kagome had gotten the bucket filled with water and had thrown it onto the fire. He ran down the other stair case getting stuck in the same hole as Kagome had, making it slightly bigger. He herd a crash. 'NO! Goddamn it!' He thought as he fought to get free of the stair case making the hole bigger. Then the floor completely collapsed under him. He was knocked unconscious as a piece of wood hit him in the head.

He woke up a minute later and looked around. 'That's right! I'm supposed to save Kagome!' He stood up and noticed that he was in the stairs. He ripped through the side of the stairs and unknown to him his hair caught on fire, then he saw her. She lay under a pile of wood her breathing was slowed and she had little cuts and burns all over her. He rushed over to her. 'What did you get yourself into?' Was his only thought as he picked up the biggest of the boards. Then an odd feeling came over him. He felt like curling up on the floor and falling asleep, but when he looked around he snapped out of it. "I'll go to sleep when this is over." Then he realized he had dropped the board back on Kagome. He bent over his tired and sore muscles screaming with protest as he once more picked up the board a threw it aside. Then more wood fell on top of Kagome and everything thing seemed hopeless. The door caught fire once more and inuyasha knew that if he didn't work faster both he and Kagome would become toast. He pushed aside the wood and picked her up. Carefully he stood up and herd a loud boom. The house started to collapse. He gathered his muscles under him and took one big jump out of the house just as it collapsed. Careful not to land on Kagome, he hit the ground and hard. She opened her eyes slightly and then they fell closed once more as she fell into sleep.

Inuyasha's father looked up. "Sesshoumaru! Try to finish this fight soon!" He nodded toward the house and Sesshoumaru saw why. He quickly thought about a house and attacked wildly. He had figured out that the reason why he was unable to kill this ogre thing was because it could read his mind. So instead of thinking about the fight he thought about his house that he would get when he would finally be able to move out. Even though he was old enough to move out by human standards he was unable to get a house anywhere so he lived at home working day in and day out then going to college when he could still looking for a house. He eventually hit the ogre in his chest and the ogre was sliced in two. He turned on the girl but realized that she had run. He looked over at his father and saw that Naraku and Kagra had run as well. Him and his father then ran over to Inuyasha. Sesshoumaru picked up Inuyasha and his father picked up Kagome.

It was a bit awkward getting them to their house. When they reached the house Inuyasha's dad yelled loud enough to get his wife's attention but not loud enough to wake the sleeping girl and boy. Inuyasha's mother rushed to the door and pulled them in. "How could you let them get in this shape?!" She exclaimed putting the each of them on a couch. She immediately ran to the kitchen and got a bowl of cool water and two wash cloths. She dipped each cloth in the water and put one on each of their foreheads. "We tried but when that girl went into the fire we had to send some one and we sent Inuyasha." Sesshoumaru said coldly. His father then elbowed him in the side. "The question now is, where is the girl going to stay? Her house burnt down in the fire and her family was killed." He stared at Kagome with pity in his eyes. "That's not a question, I', going to invite her to stay with us, after all she has no place else and I've always want a daughter so I could dress her up and play with her hair." The woman's voice was filled with delight on the last sentence.

See! Its longer! But it took longer to complete. At least its getting done!
