Chapter 4

`How did I get myself into this?' Sango asked herself as she tried her best not to look out the window. Sango had agreed to go on a trip to the States with Miroku. They were on an airplane on their way there. As tough as Sango was she was still terrified of airplanes. Ever since her father and brother died on an airplane accident she had never gone on one before afraid that what happened to her father and her brother would happen to her as well

* Flashback *

"Hey Sango?!" Miroku was calling out to her from the other side of the garage. He was wearing a blue jumpsuit that he had hanging from his waist with a loose white t-shirt that had yellow writing on it and a yellow bandana the he used like a headband.

"I was going to visit my dad in the States and I was wondering if you would like to meet him?" Sango knew that they did have a relationship going on but she was still afraid of planes. They had been together for about a week now. They had been meeting eversince the second time they met at the mall when Miroku asked her if she wanted to have diner together. Ever since then they have been going out.

"Sure I'd love to come. How were you planning on going by cruise?" Sango asked. She was afraid of what she might get as an answer but decided to just wait for the right time to explain it to him.

Miroku looked at her puzzled. `What did she mean by was I planning on going on a cruise.' Miroku was confused. "I was going by plane. Why do you ask?" Miroku looked back down at what he was doing. He was putting in more oil into one of the cars that had come over that day.

Sango went stiff as she heard him answer him. She was afraid that he might have said that.

"Miroku I don't think that it's a good idea to go on a plane. I mean it is a good idea but there's something that you need to know." With that said Sango went over to the the table that was against the wall and then motioned for him to stand next to her. He did as he was told and then asked what it was that he needed to know.

Sango told him the whole story and then when he finished he took her hand in his and brought it up to his mouth and kissed it lightly.

He looked up into her eyes and then there was a moment of silence. Miroku decided to break the silence and spoke. "Sango its ok don't worry. Nothing will happen to you I promise. Do you trust me?" Sango nodded and then wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a long and passionate kiss. He instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her close to him.

At that moment Inu Yasha came in with Kagome not far behind from him. He motioned for Kagome to come next to him and look at what was happening. Kagome did as she was told and then broke the silence.

"Oi, cant you guys get a room. Sheesh !" With that Kagome walked over to the table to put down the box that she was carrying and looked at a very crimson red blushing couple.

* End flashback *

"Oh yeah. Now I remember." She looked over to her left at her sleeping boyfriend. `He looks so peaceful.' That was all she said before she fell asleep.
