“What's your idea, Inuyasha?” Mika asked. Inuyasha smiled slyly. “Just watch.” Inuyasha drew Tetsuiga and pointed it towards Kagome. “Hey, wench!” Kagome turned in his direction, nisou powers racing through her katana. “Try this move. Wind Scar!” Inuyasha was careful to attack slightly to Kagome's right, so she would not be harmed by it. Kagome seemed to smile and watched Inuyasha jump behind her. Kagome raised her katana and began to use the Wind Scar. “Perfect! Now, if I time it just right…” As Kagome released the mock Wind Scar, Inuyasha jumped out of the way and Kagura, who had been behind him controlling Kagome, took the full force. “Ahhh!!!!! Kagome, you bitch, how are you disobey me!” Unbeknownst to Kagura, she had lost her concentration when attacked and now Kagome was free from her spell. “How dare you take control of my body? Now, it's time for you to feel pain!” With that, Kagome put all of her nisou power into the katana and cried, “Purifying blast!” A giant wave of pink energy crashed towards Kagura. She cried out in pain as the blast began to purify her, bit by bit, until at last, her cries ceased. “We did it! We destroyed that bitch!” Mika cried happily. Shippo peeked out from behind Kirara, where he had been hiding. “Is it over?” Inuyasha smiled slightly. “Yeah, runt, its over. For now, anyway.”

 

Atop Kirara's back, Mika and Shippo watched over Kagome, making certain to keep her conscious. “She's lost so much blood, Inuyasha. If she blacks out for even an instant, it may be for the last time.” Inuyasha merely turned away, but inside, his heart was beginning to break. “Damn it! If I lose Kagome, I don't know what the hell I'd do. I mean, I do have Mika, but Kagome and I…. Damn it all! Love is too damn confusing!” Shippo squeezed Kagome's hand repeatedly to keep her awake and Mika ran a damp cloth over her head. “Mika…. Let me sleep. I… need rest.” “No, Kagome. If you sleep now, you might not wake up. We have to get you to Kaede. Hopefully, she has a remedy to help out in this type of situation.” Kagome sighed, then winced in pain as Mika attempted to bandage her arm. “Sorry, Kagome. I'm not used to doing this kind of thing.” “It's okay, Mika. I understand.” Shortly, they arrived at the village in which Kaede resided. Inuyasha hopped off the two-tail's back and bounded over to Kaede's hut. He shoved the door open and said, “Kaede, get your ass out here, you old hag!” “Inuyasha, ye need to learn something known as respect for your elders,” Kaede said, walking over to him. “We ain't got time for respect! Kagome's really screwed up this time. She's lost tons of blood and she keeps tryin' to fall asleep.” “Lead me to the child.”

 

Inuyasha took Kaede to Kagome, where she gasped at the sight. “My word. What has happened?” Mika decided to explain this part. “Let's see here. We fought Naraku, Sango and Miroku got sucked into the Wind Tunnel, along with Naraku, Kagome was kidnapped and Kagura tortured her. I think that about wraps it up. Oh, and we fought Sesshomaru, too.” The elder nisou simply stared at the hanyou, then looked back to Kagome. “I cannot do much, I'm afraid. All I can do is give ye a potion that will keep her conscious, even while she sleeps. Most of her wounds will have to heal naturally. That is, of course, unless you can acquire Sesshomaru's Tenseiga.” Inuyasha and Mika exchanged glances. “We'll take the potion for now, hag, then we'll talk to Fluffy.” Mika giggled. She had never heard Inuyasha call his brother Fluffy before. “Very well. I shall retrieve the potion for ye. I suggest ye let Kagome get plenty of rest before ye go out shard hunting again. Take her to a sheltered area where there is little fear of being ambushed.” The two hanyou nodded and, once Kaede returned with it, gave the potion to Kagome. “That should do for now. In the meantime, just think about what I have told ye.”
