“Lord Sesshomaru!” Sesshomaru turned his head and saw Rin running towards him. “Yes, Rin? What do you require?” “Lord Sesshomaru, someone needs your help. A beautiful lady came and told me that Kagome, Inuyasha's friend, is in trouble and might die. She said Tenseiga is the only thing that will cure her. You must help her, Lord Sesshomaru, please.” Sesshomaru looked at Rin's eyes, pleading for his help. “where is this lady, Rin?” “She's over in the clearing where I was gathering flowers. I asked her to wait there until I came back with you.” Sesshomaru looked over at Jaken, who was sleeping near Ah-Un. “I suppose I should at least go see whom Rin speaks of. That pathetic toad will be fine for a few minutes.” “Come, Rin. Lead me to this woman.” Rin smiled brightly and grabbed Sesshomaru's hand. “She's this way. Oh, thank you, Lord Sesshomaru, thank you.”

 

Mika was startled as she heard Rin calling to her. “He's here! He's going to help Kagome.” Mika watched Rin approach, dragging Sesshomaru behind her. “so nice to see you, little brother.” Sesshomaru glared at the violet-haired hanyou. “Had I known you were the one who asked for my help, I would not have bothered to come.” Mika smiled. “I know. Why do you think I told Rin not to tell you my name? Now, are you going to help out?” Sesshomaru looked to Rin, then back at Mika. “I do not wish to upset Rin. I suppose I have no option but to assist.” “Well then, Sesshy, whip out that floaty cloud thing of yours and let's go.”

 

Soon, Mika led Rin and Sesshomaru to the cave. “Here, Rin, take my hand and Sesshomaru, you take the other.” “Of what usefulness could holding hands be?” “To get you through the barrier so you aren't purified, Fluffy,” Mika replied in a mocking tone. Sesshomaru glared at his sister before reluctantly taking Mika's hand. Mika led them through he barrier and back to Kagome. Sesshomaru dropped his sister's hand and looked at the injured nisou and the hanyou sleeping beside her. “Well, I see Inuyasha is taking excellent care of her.” Inuyasha opened his eyes and saw Sesshomaru looking down at him. “What the hell, don't tell me you actually came to help?” “Rin informed me of the nisou's state and I was asked to assist. I cannot betray Rin's faith in me.” Inuyasha stood, jaw dropped. “He's actually gonna help? Wow, I didn't know Fluffy had it in him!” Sesshomaru drew Tenseiga and prepared to strike. He raised the sword and struck it directly at Kagome. Kagome's body began to glow pink and the others watched as he injuries disappeared. Kagome blinked slowly. “Inu…yasha?” She seemed shocked to find Sesshomaru standing over her. “Sesshomaru? What're you doing here? If you've come to kill Inuyasha, I'll-” “Relax, young nisou, I have no desire to kill my little brother today. I merely came on Rin's whim to heal you. Now that I have done so, I shall leave. Come along, Rin.” Before she left, Rin raced over and hugged Mika. “Did I do a good job, Lady Mika?” “Yes, Rin, you did a wonderful job.” Rin smiled and raced out of the cave after her lord. “Did he say… he came to help me?” Inuyasha smiled “Yeah, Kagome, Fluffy actually did somethin' nice for once. Too bad that won't last long.” Mika laughed and hugged her two friends. “I'm so glad I found you guys!”

 

Two days later, Kagome was back to her old self. “Inuyasha, you pervert sit!” THUD! “How the hell was I supposed to know you were changing clothes?” “You're supposed to knock!” “There's no door to knock, wench!” “SIT!” THUD! Shippo sighed and turned to Mika. “Isn't he ever gonna grow up?” Mika laughed “That stubborn hanyou? I doubt it.” “It's not my fault, damn it!” “SIT!” THUD!
