CHAPTER 8

Inuyasha was the first to wake up. He looked around and was a little confused as to where he was. Then he felt Kagome shift in his arms and he remembered.

Inuyasha looked at his watch and saw that it was almost half past four in the morning. He decided to bring Kagome into the bedroom so that they would both have more room and be more comfortable.

Very calmly and quietly Inuyasha asked, “Are you following me now?”

“You just don’t know who you’re fucking with, do you? The man you say you love died when you had that abortion.”

“Inuyasha?” Kagome suddenly called from the bedroom sleepily.

“Bitch, this shit is not through. Be very, VERY careful,” he warned Kikyo. He didn’t give her a chance to reply and ended the call. He then turned off the phone for good measure.
“I’m coming, Kagome,” he called back.

As Inuyasha walked into the bedroom, he noticed that Kagome had pulled the sheets up to her shoulders.
