Summary: Inuyasha and Kagome are in high school together, the perfect relationship ever. Inuyasha gets an offer to study at the best school in the world, literally. Kagome wishes him the best of luck and promises to await his return. After a month Inuyasha moves without telling her, leaving her with a secret. Four Years later he returns with a fiancé. How will she react? Will she tell him her secret? Or will he be kept in the dark about his own son?

She watched his eyes dart from Kouga back to her and turn almost hurt yet furious. He looked away to his brother who had also seen her, but didn't say much in the matter. Kagome turned back to Kouga and sighed.

“Aahh Sesshomaru. Nice to see you. Care to join us?” Kouga asked jumping up. Kagome thought she would die.

“I think that would be delightful.” Sesshomaru answered. She could almost hear him smirk. Kouga took a seat on Kagome's left moving his glass and Sesshomaru on her right, leaving Inuyasha right in front. Everyone sat down and Kagome tried her best to smile under the conditions, especially Inuyasha's heated glare. “Lovely to see you again Kagome.” Sesshomaru said taking her hand and kissing it, in a friendly way.

“Likewise Sesshomaru.” She replied. Looking over at Inuyasha. “Nice to see you again Inuyasha.” She said softly and holding out her hand to shake. She watched fearful as his expression went from angry to devious. There was only one other time she had seen that in this situation.

Kagome sat down with her date, Hojo in front of her and Inuyasha on the left. Hojo had known Inuyasha and considered him a friend. Kagome met Inuyasha earlier in the hallways. The meeting was not a good one. She was putting books into her locker and he bumped into her causing all her books to fall. He looked over and sneered and she made the mistake of calling him a no good selfish dog-boy. He came over and pinned her to the lockers promising punishment. That night when he walked in Kagome could have laughed at how jealous he looked, but then Hojo had to make him sit down, and he chose next to her in the booth.

“Nice to see you again Inuyasha.” She said rather cockily, and that's when it changed. Angry to devious in seconds. She wanted to laugh then.

“Pleasure is all mine Kagome.” He replied kissing her hand. “So tell me, have you finished your research on how many hotels have sexually related organisms on the walls?” He asked. Kagome choked on her soda.

“My what?” She screamed.

“Oh yeah, you know she's into that gross stuff? She once tried to dissect a booger.” He said and Hojo stared along with Kagome. “Did you tell him about when you ate the frog in science, the one we had to dissect?”

“Umm Kagome I just forgot I had to do something, bye.”

“WAIT HOJO!” She called after him but she was too late. She glared over at Inuyasha. “What the hell do you think you are doing?” She asked.

“Paybacks a bitch huh?” He asked smirking.

“You know what? I think you're jealous!” Kagome said smiling.

“Heh of what? You? Pfft!” He said laughing.

“No of the fact that I didn't accept your offer earlier to go out and I accepted Hojo's.” She said and smiled even brighter sipping her soda.

“So what are you saying that I can't have you? Is that a challenge?” He asked huskily in her ear.

“Maybe.” She said turning to face him only to have her lips crushed against his. She squirmed and tried pushing him off, but gave in as soon as she felt his tongue slowly drag across her lip. She slowly reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck and allowed him to deepen the kiss further, which he wasted no time in doing. All she could do was sit there and kiss him back. It felt so right. But why? She was the smart, yet semi-sexy (in her view) study girl and he was the rough, tough, hot, rich punk. Two opposites worlds, yet they seemed to mold into one perfect world. They broke and panted.

“You should learn that I always get what I want.” He said smirking.

“Then I guess you want me. But you won't ever have it!” She said and pushed him back, which he allowed and she stormed out.

“I will in time Kagome!” He called after her. “I will in time.” He said softly growling.

`The first time we kissed.' She thought as he took her hand and kissed it.

“Pleasure is all mine Kagome.” He said leaning back and smirking. He knew she was having the same flashback as he.

“Well mutt I haven't seen you in awhile.” Kouga said breaking their thoughts. Inuyasha looked over at him and Kagome again took a huge swig of the liquid making Sesshomaru smirk. “Like my new woman?” He asked putting an arm over Kagome who looked rather angry and uncomfortable. Inuyasha saw her expression and wanted to jump up and beat the hell out of Kouga.

“I didn't think you were interested in women who ate dead frogs in science.” Inuyasha chuckled. “In fact she ow!” He yelped grabbing his shin that she so harshly kicked. “Why in hell did you do that for?” He yelled.

“Sorry, I thought it was another spot on your body I meant to hit.” She growled back. Sesshomaru was very entertained by her. This vixen who had tamed his brother.

“You're upset because I proved I was able to get you to go out with me.” He smirked.

“I only went out with you because no other girl would date your sorry ass!” Kagome replied angrily.

“You're right no other girl, except the whole female high school population!” He laughed.

“That's it! Kouga come by work for a reschedule I don't feel like being near the dog-boy today!” She said walking off.

“Wow, she'll be a handful.” Kouga said laughing. Inuyasha watched her get a piece of paper from Rin before walking out. He stood up and rushed after her.

“Kagome!” He called but she didn't stop. “Kagome stop.” He said easily catching up on her.

“Leave me alone Inuyasha I don't want to hear anymore of your bull shit!” She growled sticking her key in the lock. Her hand left it as she was spun around and pinned against the car with his body.

“I know you don't want to but you will.” He growled. “I know this is hard for you, but…”

“Hard for me? You bastard!” She screamed pushing him off her. “You have no idea what you're talking about! You have always had everything you ever wanted. A car, a stereo, whatever! You have no clue how hard it is to have a child ask you for things you can't afford on your 1 year college education, going job to job hoping the other won't dismiss you once he sees your record. You don't know how it is when your son opens his gifts on Christmas only to find he didn't get the only thing he asked for and having to tell him maybe next year knowing that it won't happen! You don't know…” She stopped as tears filled her eyes and her lip trembled. “…How hard it is to have your son ask you where his daddy was, and why he wasn't there with him, and when he was going to come home. You don't know how much it hurts to tell your own son his father will never see him again because he found another mommy! I've been waiting Inuyasha, Waiting all alone for you all these years just trying to support me and my son barely getting by when I had to drop out of college. I can't do this anymore! I only went out with Kouga because I'm trying to forget you!” She screamed as tears rushed down her face. “I'm trying to forget what we had, what we shared, how we felt, because it's all been taken from me. God I hate you!” She screamed pounding his chest repeatedly, but he didn't even flinch. “I HATE YOU!” She yelled sobbing and collapsing into his chest holding onto the chest of his shirt for dear life. He slowly wrapped his arms around her and rubbed her back while nuzzling into the top of her head with his cheek. Holding her as she cried.

“I'm so sorry I can't be there for you Kagome. I love you both so much. And you're right, until now I have had everything I've ever wanted. I would give it all up in a second, but I want to be able to support you two. I haven't found a new mommy for my child. Kagome I have already made it clear I will not produce an heir with Kikyo. She may posses my body but my heart and soul are already married to you Kagome.” He whispered. Kagome stopped crying except for a few stray tears.

“And mine to yours Inuyasha.” She whispered. He pulled back bending over to look her in the face and she looked up. Her eyes were back to white again and only tear stains remained, still she looked like a goddess to Inuyasha. Slowly he bent down and lightly caressed her lips with his. When she kissed back he took it as his que and pulled her body flush against his. Kagome moved her hands to wrap around his neck allowing him to push his tongue into her mouth. Kagome didn't fight his back instead just stroked it with her own wanting to savor this last taste of pleasure. He slowly removed his tongue and broke the kiss. Their eyes flew open to look at each other.

“Kagome, just tonight let me have you. I yearn for your body, and I know you yearn for mine.” He said softly pleading. Kagome looked down and shook her head.

“Inuyasha we've been through this. I can't give you what you want.” She said sadly.

“I see. I'm sorry I touched you Kagome it won't happen again. It must be awful to be touched by a mutt, I'm sure you would enjoy a wolf better.” Her growled pulling away like she burned him. Kagome took one step forward and smacked him. He put his hand up to his lower cheek and growled opening his mouth to say something. Kagome took his face and slammed her lips on his and heatedly dragging her tongue across his lips occasionally and nipping them. Inuyasha growled contentedly and slowly backed her against the car putting his hands on either side of her and breaking from her lips to move down her neck licking up to her ear then back down to her collarbone making her tremble. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he stopped to suck on her pulse point. Inuyasha broke away and looked back up to her face both breathing rapidly. “I'm sorry Kagome. I'm not making this easier on either of us. I know why we can't I just want you so bad.” He whispered laying his forehead against hers.

“I know. I do too.” She replied and they both stood like that never wanting to let go.

“Inuyasha. Lunch is here.” Sesshomaru said poking out.

“Be right there Fluffy.” He smirked hearing his brothers growl along with a growl
Inuyasha could hear.

“You're lucky mutt, if I wouldn't get my ass kicked for you not showing up to your wedding I would smother your sorry ass.”

“I need to get back and make sure Kin is ok. He wasn't happy when I left.” She chuckled lightly and pushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

“Ok. Bye.” He said backing away. Kagome nodded and got in her car backing out and speeding off. She willed herself to not cry so Kin wouldn't see her like that. She parked her car and opened the door.

“Mommy!” Kin cried running into his mom's arms.

“Hey, I thought I told you to be in bed.” She said sarcastically and tickled him. Izayoi appeared from around the corner.

“Heeh, gamma came to visit.” Kin said cutely.

“I guess she did.” Kagome replied stunned.
