Here Comes the Bride

Inuyasha gently took her hand and kissed it before they headed toward the door. It burst open before they even touched it to reveal a very angry senior Tashio.

 

“I'll teach you to run off like that pup.” He growled taking Inuyasha by his collar.

 

“Hey! Let go!” Inuyasha whined as he was dragged out.

 

“I told you, you can't see her before the wedding but oh no! You have to rush over here. What am I ever going to do with you.” Kagome giggled as their voices slowly vanished as she stepped out into the hall.

 

“Kagome! Get over here, we are about to start!” Sango cried at the end of the hall.

 

“Coming!” Kagome called picking up her dress and running toward her. She reached her before she stopped dead in her tracks… That young man…. The boy in question turned around and smiled.

 

“Hey sis.” Kagome ran forward, tears welling up again.

 

“SOUTA! I THOUGHT I'D NEVER SEE YOU!” She cried happily as he hugged her back. He was taller then even her now. “Where's mom?” She asked wiping her eyes and looking around.

 

“She didn't want to come. She doesn't even like to talk about you anymore. It's saddening, but Grandpa is here….” He said turning her around and surely enough there he was.

 

“Grandpa!” She ran to him next throwing her arms around the old man. “But how did you both know?”

 

“That young man, Inuyasha, called us. He said that you were getting married and pleaded with us to come. Though he didn't have to plead very hard.” He laughed. “I'm sorry your mother didn't come Kagome. She was remarried to an awful man not long ago, only good thing is he is rich so the shrine is in good shape. She moved out so you are welcome to visit us whenever you wish. I would love to see my grandson.”

 

“Of course!” She complied, still crying as she hugged them both.

 

“Hey Kagome, its almost your time.” The wedding planner reminded.

 

“Okay! Are you two going to take me, or do I have to go alone?” She asked them.

 

“No, that's why we came.”

After being dragged and lectured he was finally able to go out and stand once more in the same spot as before. This time his father and mother stood in front of him and he was on the second step. Shippo was in the back with his girlfriend Satsuki, along with another surprise for Kagome. The organ started for its second time and everyone in the audience turned toward the back. The doors swung open again and this time it was people he actually knew. The first one to go was one of Inuyasha's, friends, daughter, Kiki. She was dressed in a small cute little white dress with a black ribbon around the waist. She skipped along the white rug that ran the aisle throwing red, pink, and white rose petals everywhere merrily. Her little black hair was up in two pig tails in big curls tied with white ribbon. Kin came next holding the small white pillow with red and black ribbon that held the rings. He looked more irritated then happy which made Inuyasha laugh. The entire audience awed at him making him blush and scowl at the same time. Inuyasha noticed he even walked a little faster to get up and safely hide behind his grandfather. Inu no Tashio laughed as his wife picked him up. Next was Shippo and Satsuki. She had on a Black dress with a white ribbon, that had cute white trim on the bottom just like Kiki's. They were both about 12 now, and Shippo was still shorter than her, but only by an inch. Like the other guys that would be coming up the aisle, he had on a tux with a red tie, and white under shirt, matching all except Inuyasha who had opted for the darker black jacket and silver tie, same white shirt though. Sango and Miroku came next, and by the way Sango blushed when he whispered something in her ear and patted her hand, they were talking about the baby. True youkai could smell a child, but only when they knew what it was they were looking for. It wasn't until about the third month or so the scent became potent. Sango and Miroku were to be married soon, in fact their wedding was in about two months. He thought they were the happiest couple he had ever known. A few more couples followed, the guys going to the right, the girls to the left until finally the organ sounded its blasts again and Kagome turned the corner, holding her bouquet of red, white, and black roses, her family on both sides. She was smiling so happy he wondered if she would ever be sad again. Not while she was with him that's for sure. The aisle seemed to stretch with each step, going on and on without end. When she finally came out into the light of the church he gasped. Before, when he had snuck in, he didn't really take the time to look at her fully. Now he did. She was breathtaking. She seemed to glow with each step closer. Their eyes never left the entire time as she walked up. Though she did look down blushing a few times, which he found cute to no end.

 

“Inuyasha!” his mother whispered quietly. His ears swiveled to the side and he turned his head a bit when she touched his hand. “If you don't breathe soon you're going to pass out.” He realized she was right, he hadn't taken a breath in at least two minutes, impressive for even a youkai. He took slow steady breaths trying to recover and slow his wild heart. She finally did reach the steps though and he tried his best to stay still. She kissed her brother first then her grandfather. He saw her whisper something and nod toward Kin before she handed her bouquet to Rin who had come up the aisle alone and kissed her on the cheek along with Sango before lifting up her dress and taking Inuyasha's hand. Together they made their way up the stairs. They reached the top and the organ stopped, letting the father come forward.

 

“You look so beautiful Kagome.” He whispered softly smiling. Kagome blushed a deep red and looked away toward the father.

 

“Good people, we gather to join this man in holy matrimony….again.” The crowd laughed, even Kagome did. Sango had told her the entire story. “I hope we have no objections that will subject us to a third wedding this evening…” No one made a sound except for a light chuckle. “…Then let us begin…”

 

***( And now we skip to the end because Weddings are truly long and boring… Its only the end that makes the good scene) ***

 

“Let the ring come fourth.” Inu no Tashio urged little Kin telling him to go to Inuyasha, which he did shyly. Inuyasha bent down and took the rings and patting his head. He came back up and took Kagome's hand.

 

“Kagome…” He began. “…We met in high school what seems like a long time ago. I was some rich boy who didn't care about anything. My grades were low, and I was almost kicked out. But then you came and saved me. Kagome, you saw me for more then a half-breed. You showed me what it's like to live, to breathe. I couldn't live one second without you from this moment on. I love you, and I want you to be with me, forever.” He finished by slipping the ring on. Kagome had to blink back the tears he had caused once again. She took the ring from him to place on his finger, and held his hand.

 

“Inuyasha…” She sniffed shaking her head before looking up at him and smiling. “From the moment I met you I knew I loved you. The day you left you premised me you would come back. And you did…” She started to cry again. “I would wait a lifetime for you. So with this ring, I do give you my body and soul. As for my heart… You've had it all along.” She slipped his ring on his finger. Get smiled, but she could see the small tears forming in his eyes.

“Nicely said. I do now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.” Inuyasha wasted no time in scooping her up into his arms and kissing her. “And now, the wedding is finally over, you all just have the reception to get through.” Kagome and Inuyasha laughed along with the others. The organ started to play again and he swept her off her feet, carrying her out past the standing people. Kagome wrapped her arms around his neck as he did so. Outside people threw small white flowers instead of rice, because frankly that was a mess to pick up, and there would be kids thinking it funny to pelt the poor newlyweds. He carried her into one of many limos setting her down gently and closing the door before going around and getting in. They both laughed as they closed the door.

 

“I thought we were never going to get out over there.” Kagome sighed leaning against his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around her.

 

“I know. Just think, now we get to go party!” Kagome playfully slapped him and he laughed. Kagome held up her hand to look at her ring.

 

“Did you have this custom made?” She asked looking at it closely.

 

“Yeah, I had it made before I left.” She looked at it closely.

 

“As you are mine?” She asked looking at the inscription between to two small diamonds on the silver band. He held up his matching one.

 

“I am yours…” He whispered as she read it. True enough one of their favorite quotes. `Lady, as you are mine, I am yours' from Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. It suited them perfectly. She blushed a little at his closeness and moved away a little. He moved with her. “You know I noticed you wore the necklace I gave you for Christmas.” He whispered nipping her ear and fingering the necklace.

 

“Inuyasha, stop someone might see…” She scolded trying to pull away. They were waiting for the other family members to get into the limos before they left for the reception.

 

“You know it makes me wonder…” He continued cornering her in the car. His hand went down to settle uncomfortably high on her thigh. “…If you're wearing the matching set to go with it.” Kagome sighed deciding to play along. She leaned toward his ear as he continued to kiss down her neck.

 

“Who says I'm wearing anything?” This must have gotten to him because the hand supporting his weight slipped. She laughed as he slipped landing on the floor of the limo. Just then the divider slipped down.

 

“All of them are in and we are going to go now.” The driver informed them.

 

“Ugh! Okay.” Inuyasha said sitting back up on the seat and straightening his jacket. Kagome laughed as he pouted.

 

“Oh come on, don't pout because I got you back.” Kagome said slowly curling up next to him. He snorted and looked out the car window as they drove out. Kagome sighed as she took off her high heels and exchanged them for the flats that were provided in the limo. “You are such a baby.” She sighed. “…Oh sorry, puppy.”

 

“What! I'm not a puppy!” He argued turning around. She tapped his nose lightly before smiling.

 

“You're my puppy.” He just snorted looking out. Kagome sighed happily leaning against his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around her again and brought her legs to rest on his. That's the way they stayed for the rest of the ride.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

a/n: I thank you all for your patience. THIS IS NOT THE END!!!!! I still have the reception to write, and the epilogue, but first I want to know how many out there want a lemon. Be aware this would be my first. So its up to you guys, do we want a wedding night lemon? Thanks, and let me know. Next chapter, will be up by either midnight tonight or 5 pm tomorrow! Inuyasha 1 (Summary) : She was a normal shy girl, unseen to the world. He was a popular out going hanyou seen by everyone. He was in all her classes, sat next to her, and fell in love…with her sister.

 

Explanation: like every other High school fic. Going to be lots of angst.

 

Inuyasha 2 (Summary) : I was his most “precious” slave. He hit me, took me. He stripped me, put me on display. Let others touch me while he watched. Though I kicked and screamed and fought, I could not deny, I loved every minute.

 

Explanation: Lots of lemons and Limes (which means I'm going to have a lot of writing and rewriting to do) >_<. Hard to explain other wise. No rape, and not like brutal harassment. So in other words, not a dark fic. Just a lot of sexual…shit… (I know I'm weird)

 

Inuyasha 3: He came through the well at our shrine one day. My sister called to him. But he called to me.

 

Explanation: Basically Kikyo gets Inuyasha through the well (she was never on the other side), and while staying in the future, falls in love with Kagome, while Kikyo falls in love with him. Gotta love, love triangles = P
