Oh and if you didn't get who Kagome's bf was go back and read the LAST LINE it should pretty obvious! Well I might be boring you so let's keep going!

 

Chapter 2: Panic! On the Dance Floor

 

When Kagome lifted her head she saw a very hot-looking man. He had long silver white

Hair. He was wearing a black buttoned-up shirt with baggy jeans, and a black cap. He had one foot against the wall. But what really caught Kagome's eyes were his eyes. They were a golden amber of some sort. They were so unique. Coincidently, he had been staring at her too.

 

She walked towards him as he did the same. He was slightly taller than her so had to look up.

 

“ Do wanna dance?” Kagome said trying to overpower the crowd.

 

He bent down to her ear, “Why not?” he straightened up with a smirk.

 

Kagome smiled. She took his hand and pulled him gently towards the dance floor. She put her hands on his shoulders as he put his hands around her waist. They moved their bodies to the music. Sango was looking for Kagome trying to cut through the crowd… she found her.

 

Oh I see, well as long as she's having fun, Sango thought. She made her way back to the bar, and stood next to Miroku.

 

Miroku raised an eyebrow, “Back so soon?”

 

“ Yea. Kagome ditched me to dance with some guy.” Sango looked over the crowd, “Oh she's over there!” Sango exclaimed pointing to the couple.

 

Miroku looked and got a very surprised look on his face, “ Inuyasha?!”

 

“ You know him?”

 

“ Yeah he's the friend I brought here.”

 

“ Oh… My… God!” they said in unison.

 

“ Well at least it looks like they're having fun,” Miroku chuckeled.

 

Oh this should be interesting. Sango thought.

The song ended. And everyone cheered.

 

“ I'm Kagome.” She said.

 

“ Inuyasha,” he said.

 

They hadn't realized it, but they didn't let go of each other.

 

“ You know you're a really good dancer, how'd you learn?” Kagome shouted, again, over the crowd.

 

“ I actually-“ he began but then was cut off by the start of “Low” by Flo Rida.

 

“ I love this song! Care for another dance, Inuyasha?” Kagome asked.

 

“ Sure, Kagome.”

 

Kagome switched positions. Now her back was against Inuyasha and she had one arm around his neck. His hands were still on her waist.

 

She had apple-bottom jeans

Boots with the fur [with the fur]

The whole club was lookin' at her

She hit the floor [she hit the floor]

Next thing you know

Shorty got low low low low low low low low

 

As the last line of the chorus played Kagome and Inuyasha went down. As they were going back up, Kagome was pulled away.

 

“ What the hell?! What's your problem?!” Inuyasha growled.

 

“ Kagome would you like to introduce me to your friend?” the man asked.

 

“ Not really,” Kagome mumbeled. The man shot a glare at her. Kagome sighed, “Inuyasha this is my boyfriend, Kouga.” (A\N for those of you who were wondering, THERE YOU GO!!)

 

“ Kouga! You're dating this wimpy wolf?!” Inuyasha screamed. That's when people started to stare. The club was slightly quiet.

 

“ Long time no see mutt-face,” Kouga smirked.

 

“ You two know each other?” Kagome asked.

 

“ Old rivals in high school,” Kouga said crossing his arms.

“ Kicked his ass senior year,” Inuyasha pointed out also crossing his arms.

 

“ I had something in my eye,” Kouga immediately pointed out.

 

“ Keh. Whatever I kicked your ass and you know it!” Inuyasha laughed.

 

“ So,” Kouga walked over to him. Kagome got in the middle of them, just in case. “I heard about Kikyo, she's with Naraku now. Figured she leave you for a full-blood.”

 

“ You bastard!” Inuyasha shouted charging at Kouga. Kagome held his arm to stop him.

 

“ Kouga!” Kagome yelled.

 

“ Kagome maybe you should go get a drink or something,” Kouga motioned towards the bar.

 

“ But I-“

 

“Kagome!” Kouga demanded.

 

Kagome looked at him, then Inuyasha. “Fine,” she mumbeled angrily. She walked through where Sango met her half way.

 

“ Hey I was watching, are you ok?” Sango put her hand on friend's shoulder, trying to comfort her.

 

Kagome shrugged her hand off. “Yeah, Kouga is just catching up on old times.”

 

“So what the hell do you think you're doing with your hands on my girl?” Kouga questioned.

 

“ Whatever. She asked me to dance. Seeing how you weren't with her I accepted. She had fun dancing with me too.”

 

“ Shut up. Listen here mutt if I ever see you touch her again, I'll track you down and rip you to shreds!”

 

“ Like you would even try.”

 

Kagome stepped through the crowd. Hopefully one hadn't killed the other.

 

“ Kagome let's go.” Kouga demanded.

 

“ What? We've only been here half an hour!” Kagome whined.

 

“ Sango can catch a ride with Miroku, now let's go.” He said with a stern voice.

“ Ok. It was nice meeting you Inuyasha,” she held out her hand.

 

He took it, “ Ditto.” He felt something weird touch his hand. It felt like a piece of paper. He took it. Then he watched her walk away with one hand on Kouga's arm. Suddenly, she turned around and winked at him. Inuyasha looked down at the note and opened it.

 

Kagome's Number

467-0932

 

He smiled. He'd probably call her tomorrow. He'd probably want to disguise his voice in case the wolf answers. But he'd definitely call her. Kagome.

 

Kagome sat in the front seat, looking out the window the whole time. I wonder if he'll call. Inuyasha.
