Chapter 10

 

 

The next morning Kagome woke up and found her self not in her room. `Where am I?'

 

When she tried to move she found she couldn't due to a certant Hanyou's arms around her. `Oh yeah. That's right. I left early from school yesterday. And I told InuYasha what happened.'

 

Just at the thought of that made her start to cry. InuYasha's nose and ears started to twitch. `Why is Kagome crying? She must be thinking about yesterday.' He thought while he was waking up. “Kagome…” he whispered.

 

She looked up and just started to cry harder. “It's okay. It must still really hurt.” She just nodded her head and held on to him like it was the last time she'd ever see him. “Do you wanna skip school or go in late?” He asked. “No. We left early yesterday so we have to go.” She said as she got up and motioned him to follow.

 

When they were outside and getting in his car he said “Kag. Are you sure you wanna go? I mean you can just stay at my house. I'll stay with you.” InuYasha looked at her with concern and love showing in his eyes

 

“No. We missed yesterday and besides I'd like to see my friends. Maybe it will cheer me up some more.” Kagome said putting on a fake smile. Of course InuYasha could see right through that. “Okay then. But if you change your mind just tell me and we can leave when ever you want to k.” She nodded and they were off to pick up there friends like they did every morning.

 

They finally got to school when Koga walked up to them and grabbed Kagome away from the not so prepaird group. He shoved her up against a car and said annoyed “I thought I told you to stay away from him?!” InuYasha whipped his head around and saw what Koga had done.

 

His mind filled with what Kagome had told him yesterday and he planned on keeping his promise to protect her. By now Kagome was crying and it looked like Koga didn't really care as he begain to kiss her. InuYasha rushed over and punched him on the side of the face knocking him off of Kagome.

 

“KOGA YOU EVER DO THAT TO HER AGAIN YOU WILL DIE IN 30 DIFFERENT PIECES!! YOU GOT THAT?!?!” InuYasha yelled at him in blind fury. He knew what Kagome was thinking and went over to her and hugged her tightly. “Its okay. I'm here Kagome. Your safe.” Kagome just held on to him for dear life and cried into his shirt.

 

Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara rushed over to them and they all made one bid hug. Kagome and InuYasha in the middle. (and no Miroku didn't do anything stupid…for once.)

 

When they finally broke apart InuYasha still had Kagome in his arms and told Miroku and Shippo to go “Talk” to Koga. He then told Sango and Kirara what happened 2 years ago. When he was finished Sango and Kirara were in tears and hugging Kagome. Sango finally said

 

“Kagome. I want you to go home with InuYasha and take the day off. It is Friday so you wont miss anything. You just lest us handle Koga.” Kagome was still crying very hard into InuYasha's shoulder and Kirara said “InuYasha take her to your house and get her some rest. Will come by at the end of the day to see how she's doing."

 

He just nodded and got Kagome into the front seat of his SUV. “Thanks you guys. And take REALLY good care of Koga. But don't tell him what happened. Okay?” They both nodded yes and went after Miroku and Shippo to help “talk” to Koga.

 

Once InuYasha got Kagome into his room, he got out of his school clothes and into some p.j. pants. He left Kagome so she could change in to the same thing, except she had one of his shirts on.

 

InuYasha pulled Kagome into his bed and just wrapped his arms around her. She looked up and said “Thank you for everything Inu. I don't think I could've survived with out you. I love you so much.” InuYasha smiled and hugged her tighter to hos chest.

 

“I love you too. Now you need to get some sleep. It might be early but you need some sleep. It's 7:00 a.m. I'll wake you up around 10.K?” she nodded a yes and snuggled deeper into his arms. He lovingly kissed her forehead and tried to sleep him self. He could smell that she wasn't crying any more and thought `Good, she's not crying any more. Why would anyone want to do that to her?' He looked down at the now sleeping girl in his arms and saw the tears stains on her cheeks. He hated seeing her cry. He then feel asleep, very content with where he was.

 

 

A/N: srry its short but im leaving to night around 2 in the morning and i have to pack, buy stuff for the 5 HOUR long plane ride. any suggestions on what i can do? i gotta get to school at 230 we leave the school at 4 and im at the airport aroun 530...i dont check in until 615 and then my plane leaves at 815 so im gonna b board outa my mind and i only know 1 person on my flight and hes a freshman. so much to do! but hey im goin to Arizona...i get to swim! make sure ya watch the Fiesta Bowl Parade on PAX or the Home and Garden Channel the 31st! and look for Alexis I. duPont Tiger Marching Band...ya can miss us. were big, loud, and blue and gold. o n we have a kick ass drum line. i g2g pack...later!
