Chapter 10: A Weekend Getaway (Contd.): One Sunny Day, One Cloudy Night
Kagome woke up to the chill that was blowing over her. She grew panicky for a moment,
unfamiliar with her surroundings. She then realized that she was in a pair of strong, warm
arms. She looked over to see Inuyasha. She smiled as she looked at his features, he looked
like a little boy when he was asleep. Suddenly his eyes snapped open,his amber eyes met her
blue ones.
"Mornin' beautiful." He said, his forehead touching hers, noses overlapping.
"You scared me, don't do that!" She exclaimed, after jumping.
"Sorry." He said, giving her a chaste kiss.

Sango woke up with a terrible headache, that was the last time she was going to participate
in a chugging contest against guys. She looked over to where she set her portable alarm clock
and paled when she saw someone next to her, Miroku!
She jumped up quickly, waking the sleeping hentai.
"Huh? Why am I in your room?"
"Oh lord, please don't tell me we did the nasty!"
"Damn,I can't remember if we we did or didn't."
"I can't remember either, but the answer better be no!" Sango yelled, outraged.
"If we did, could you refresh my memory."
"Hentai!" She yelled, punching him.

Ayame was in the kitchen cooking some bacon when Inuyasha came in with Kagome. Kagome sat down
at the table, while Inuyasha started to hound Ayame for some bacon. Then, the phone rang,
Inuyasha went over and answered it.
"Hello?" He answered, begging Ayame silently for some bacon.
"Inuyasha! Where the hell are you?! You and your brother disappeared without so much as a
word of goodbye or where you're going!"
Inuyasha wasn't really listening at this point, he just wanted that bacon and kept silently
mouthing to Ayame, who was staring back cooly as she served out the crispy bacon. Inuyasha
got pissed, slammed the phone into the receiver and yelled,
"Man, why I can't have no bacon!"
And stormed out afterwards. Everyone busted out laughing.

Before everyone knew it, it was time to head home. Kagome really didn't want the trip to end,
but would be kind of glad to get home. She had so much fun, but missed how she and Inuyasha
would spend everynight together, it was like a routine.
It was 9:45 when Kagome returned and she wanted nothing more than to get into her comfy bed.
When Kagome got inside however, her mother told her something that she wasn't expecting.
"What did you say?" Kagome asked, the words that her mother said to her not registering in
her mind right away.
"I said one of your friends from school are here to see you."
Kagome thought for a moment. What friend was her mother talking about? All her friends had
just dropped her off, she didn't have any other friends.
"She's waiting for you in the living room." Her mother said.
Kagome walked to the living room and stopped dead in her tracks. There sat Kikyo, who looked
over and smiled at Kagome, it wasn't the smile of a friend either.
"Kikyo, what the hell are you doing here?" Kagome said in a dangerously low tone of voice as
to not alarm her mother in the next room.
"My, such hostility towards a guest in your home is not very manner like at all." Kikyo
replied, smirking.
"Get the hell out of my house Kikyo, I'm going to bed. I trust you know your way out."
Kagome said, turning to walk up the stairs.
"Don't you want to know why I bothered wasting my time to come here?" Kikyo said.
"Not really."
"Fine, I guess I could tell everyone else, including your little friends, about the
interesting facts about your previous life that your dear friend Naraku informed me of."
Kagome froze in her tracks, her face drained of color as her hand clutched the banister
railing. Kikyo's smirk deepened as she watched Kagome's reaction in sheer delight. This was
her chance to get revenge on Kagome, oh how delicious it would be, to have her at her mercy.
Kagome turned and walked over to the couch opposite of Kikyo.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Kagome said, playing it off as best as she could.
"Don't play dumb. Tell me, does Inuyasha know yet?"
Kagome stared at Kikyo, with hard unflinching eyes. Kikyo smirked at her response and said,
"No, of course you haven't. How do you think Inuyasha would react to such startling
information?" Kikyo said, never letting her smirk fade.
"What do you want form me for you to keep quiet?" Kagome said finally, bowing her head in
defeat, closing her eyes.
"I want you to hang with me and my group and don't come in contact with any of your little
friends, especially Inuyasha."
"And if I refuse?" Kagome said, holding her head up high, defiantly.
"Then the entire school will find out in various ways about why you've kept your head down all
this time."
Memories of the past went through Kagome's mind. So much had happened in her life and now
Kikyo wanted to share all these horrible memorires with the enire school, filled with some
people she cared for and most that she didn't know. Kagome began to shake with a mixture of
emotions flowing through her, some pain, and the rest mostly anger at the thought of someone
invading her life so much.
"Alright Kikyo, you win." Kagome said, lowering her head, fists balled up in her lap.
Kikyo stood, began to walk out and said before exiting,
"I'll expect you to be ready by 7:30, so you can ride to school with us."
She then left, leaving Kagome to sit there in despair. Kagome got up and ran to her room. She
shut her door and locked it, running a hand through her hair. She leaned against the door,
thinking. How could this happen? Just several hours ago she was with Inuyasha, in a loving
embrace, laughing and having fun. Now with one visit from Kikyo, her whole world had come
crashing down around her. How could Kikyo have found out about her past?
"...Naraku..." Kagome whispered with hatred and conviction in her voice.
He was the only one that knew and she figured that he'd made a deal with Kikyo in exchange for
information on her past.
"Did you sell yourself to him for revenge Kikyo?" Kagome whispered questioningly.
Things were quickly beginning to go wrong. Kagome's nerves had already begun to fray when
Naraku arrived and they only got worse with each passing day, as she had expected him to make
a move. Was he only trying to scare her? No, she highly doubted he would go through all this
trouble to find her just to pop into her life and say hello. Whatever he was planning, she
needed to be ready for it, but with Kikyo constantly backing her into a corner, that would
be immpossible.
Kagome sank to the floor and begun to sob silently, her small form trembling.
"...Inuyasha..." She whimpered as she cried herself to sleep, rocking back and forth, in an
attempt to ease the great pain that stabbed at her heart.

Well, that's all for now, Kikyo's such a bitch isn't she? She can never let ppl be. Don't
worry though they'll get through it somehow, I can't tell you how though, you'll have to
review! One more thing, I have finished writing a new chap for the world of rock, so expect
to see it updated by either later tonight or by tomorrow, it is a long chapter though, so
