It would be great and Dio knew that Lavi was his ticket into the guild and al was his ticket out.

A sweaty Dio laid spent on top of a sobbing Lavi and heard a knock at the door covering Lavi's mouth Dio asked

 

"Yes hello who's there" his voice smooth as silk.

 

 

CHAPTER FOUR DIO'S MARK

 

"Luciola is that you" Dio whispered

 

"It is I lord Dio. I have your breakfast along with some for miss Lavi" came a cool voice from the door Dio got up and pulled on his outer robe unlocking the door as Lavi gave a squeak in terror as he started to open the door realizing that she was nude she grabbed up the blanket and hid under it. and when she finally heard the door swing shut giving a little time she listened for sounds and heard nothing a glimmer of hope ran through her at the thought that maybe Dio had left her and only with that thought did Lavi have the nerve to finally peek out and gave a jump at the vision of Dio's face right in front of her she gave him a glare knowing that he had done that on purpose but his face clamed innocence. Dio felt his mouth grow into a wide grin from ear to ear.

 

 

"Why Lavi what's the matter?" he almost giggled

"You know darn well what the matter is!" Lavi felt flustered and got even more fidgety when all Dio did was stare at her and then when he did speak Lavi made a little jump

"Why do you love Claus?" his question was blunt and to the point but he knew that if his plan were to work he need to start right away.

"None of your business and why should I tell you?" Lavi was caught off guard by his question and she wondered why he had even asked.

"Oh no reason really I just thought it was odd that he would choose to fly with Tatiana and leave you behind." Lavi was getting mad Dio gave a small smile knowing that he had hit a tender nerve.

"She was the one who chose him to fly with her and I no longer want to fly if it means hurting other people, it scares me." Lavi didn't know why she had added that last bit and wondered what Claus was doing, and then it hit her that he would be looking for her. With that last thought Lavi said

"Turn around" Dio was confused and asked

"Why?" Lavi was annoyed he never took an order from anyone; she didn't know why he would now.

"I need to find Claus and in order to do that I have to get dressed so turn around." Dio's temper was rising he need her to want him, need him for his plan to work and all she could think about was Claus!

"Now Lavi did our little chat make you forget who is in charge here?" Lavi wiped her head around filling with anger she had thought that Dio had started to lighten up and would let her go now that he was done with her. Dio took hold of Lavi's chin making sure that it would hurt her and said

"Yes, I do believe you are a lot prettier when angry" Dio saw fire in Lavi's eyes and waited for her temper to overflow.

"Let go of me you have done what you wanted now let go of me." Dio was surprised to see the anger turn into sadness as her eyes glistened with unshed tears. Dio felt himself getting aroused and wondered why he lived to cause Lavi pain. He then released her

"I have, have I?" Dio said turning his head to the side as if innocent of any crime. It was then that Lavi's tears overflowed and she turned her face towards the door and away from Dio and with a shaky voice she said

"I hate you." Dio knew that he was loosing sight of his plan and said

"Now Lavi there is no reason to be mean" Lavi turned around to slap him but when she swung her hand Dio caught it just before she could strike and Lavi felt the pain of his grip. Dio decided to change the subject since her behavior was arousing him all over again but this time he couldn't indulge himself in order for his plan to work she had to want him trust him and he wasn't doing a very good job. Releasing her hand he asked

"Are you hungry?" Lavi's eyes narrowed when she saw Dio look at her as if nothing had ever happened

"No" was all she could say and turned away from him thinking that if she weren't so amusing than maybe he would get board and release her. Dio ignored her and started to eat a few pieces of bacon watching Lavi from the corner of his eye. He could see her full back and her outline was smooth small in the middle but curved outward at the bottom for her hips and the top for ample breasts he knew were there. He could see that slowly she had started to shake either from crying or fear but either one made Dio want to make her his all over again.

Lavi felt his eyes on her but no longer cared she started to cry quietly so he wouldn't know and think he had won. She was lost in thought wondering why Dio was doing this and why had he picked her out of so many others. she didn't ask for much all she wanted to do was fly the grand stream with Claus in their father's van ship she had thought of Dio as a friend and always scolded Claus for being unfriendly to him she never said anything to Dio that she liked him. Sure she thought he was a looker even beautiful but he was guild and the guild had killed her father. she hated the guild at the moment all she wanted was to see Claus again and cry in his arms and then she decided that she would never tell even him what Dio had done to her otherwise she would be thought of as weak and tainted.

Lavi was so lost in her thoughts that she jumped when Dio touched her shoulder as a feeling of dread overwhelmed her she made a decision and turned around eyes lowered and in a soft voice of defeat muttered

"Do what you will but get it done and over with and let me go." and raising her eyes she met his. Dio was surprised at Lavi's comment and when he looked in her eyes, her eyes looked dead. And all he could think of was the vision of her flushed underneath him. he gave a smile knowing that the first part of his plan was already at work and got up crossing the room picking up her clothes and handed them to her feeling pleased with himself at her look of surprise and she quickly put on her clothes no longer caring if he saw her pulling on her last shoe Lavi jumped up and started toward the door when she was stopped she turned to see Dio gently holding her wrist and raised her face to see what he wanted.

Dio grabbed Lavi's wrist making sure not to hurt her and when she turned and raised her face to see his he pulled her to him and when she started to protest Dio stopped her pressing his lips on to her's taking advantage of her surprise he slipped his tongue to meet hers and then quickly withdrew so she wouldn't bit his tongue.

Lavi was stunned and all she could say was a very quiet

"No" before Dio silenced her with a finger and tightened his grip on her waist he grinned and said

"I need to make a mark on you so that you don't let Claus have some fun. Do you understand? You are mine now!" Lavi's eyes were about to pop out of her head but she no longer cared if a mark was what it took for her to get out of this nightmare than she would take it and with that thought she nodded her dead.

"Good now this might hurt some." Dio was amazed that she had agreed so quickly but with his words he could see fear in her eyes. Dio slowly pushed her shirt aside and unbuckled a side of her overalls licking his lips when he saw her collarbone. he placed his hand on her chest just below the collarbone and drug her with him to his left over breakfast reaching for the knife and felt every muscle in her body go tight when he looked at her face he could see that her eyes were closed and he smiled knowing that it would hurt more than a little. Luciola had brought a nice sharp knife and Dio released Lavi only to shove her on the bed and then he himself straddled her waist she had started to whimper a bit but still kept her eyes shut waiting. Dio's face looked like he had just gotten a present as he lowered the knife to her chest carving a large D on it not deep enough to kill her just deep enough to scar and only large enough to see if she were shirtless in front of you. Dio could feel Lavi's chest quake with sobs and happily licked the blood that was coming from his mark. He was pleased with himself and looked up at Lavi's face to see her reaction.

Lavi felt a searing pain on her chest and clenched her teeth against sobs of pain. Her eyes were squeezed shut against the pain. she could feel the warmth of the blood coming from the wound opening her eyes squinting to see threw the tears she couldn't believe what she saw Dio was licking her wound and then he looked up at her with a big grin on his face the only thought that entered her mind was that Dio had gone insane. He scared her and she started to struggle frantically hoping that he wouldn't go further and kill her.

Dio saw this reaction in her and suppressed a laugh saying in a calm voice

"Now look at the mess I made. Luciola come in please." Luciola entered eyes going wide as Dio's words made their way through the fog and into his mind.

"Luciola snap out of it I need you to sneak some bandage down here I seem to have made a mess." Dio gave a smile as Luciola nodded and quickly left.

Dio knew that Lavi was scared and reached behind himself to get some napkins to keep the blood from getting anywhere. Lavi was ripped out of her daze as Dio said

"Don't worry it's nothing hurtful I have just put a large D on your chest nothing to worry about they were small thin cuts and should heal soon only leaving a small D shaped scar there." Lavi was amazed at how calm Dio's voice was and she looked back at him in confusion asking in a whisper

"Why?" Dio shook his head and said

"Why? Lavi you know why I already told you that you are mine and I don't want you falling all over Claus." Lavi's eyes became slits as her anger rose just as she started to open her mouth Dio gave her a smile scaring her and seeing this Dio said

"You will start to know why I have marked you in a few months. I am only trying to keep you safe." Lavi started to speak

"Safe from what my friends?" but before Dio could reply Luciola came into the room swiftly standing next to Dio. Dio asked

"Did anyone see you?" and when Luciola shook his head no Dio reluctantly got off of Lavi and let Luciola set next to her to clean and bandage Dio's mark. Lavi turned her head to watch Dio take a quick look out the door and close it leaning his back against it and looked at his shoes with some interest.

"Lord Dio I am done." Lavi jumped at Luciola's voice and watched as Dio came back over and looked at Luciola's handy work and gave Luciola a smile and a nod of approval. Lavi watched all of this as if she weren't even there and when Dio said

"come on get up" Lavi just stared at him and only when he grabbed her hand did she sit up but even then Dio had to pull her up and seeing that she was a little out of it Dio said

"Luciola please take Lavi to her room but don't make it look suspicious as for me I am going to play some fairy chess. Dio looked at Lavi's small face and suddenly it made him see that no matter what she said she was still fragile. He lowered his head and gave Lavi a light kiss on the lips and smiled whispering in her ear

"We shall be together soon my love." Dio knew that his words wouldn't register in her head till she was alone with her thoughts. And he gave a larger smile and thought how ingenious his plan was. And as soon as he told Luciola the complete plan Luciola would too agree that it was a fool proof plan.
