CHAPTER SIX LAVI'S DEMISE

"Yes lord Dio it is very smart of you, but will you be able to sacrifice al for your happiness?" Dio closed his eyes and when he opened them he looked deep in thought and a minute or two passed and he finally answered

"This a war and a lot will die for the greater good. Besides the guild will get her sooner or later so why shouldn't I get something out of it. it would be a shame if she had to sacrifice herself for nothing." and with that Luciola knew that the subject was closed and that Dio would execute his plan when the time was right and deep inside Luciola felt proud at how cunning and ruthless lord Dio had become.

 

 

 

Lavi woke up late that night with a pounding headache. Feeling something pulling on her skin Lavi reached up to pull what ever it was away but when her fingers hit the smoothness of tape her eyes grew wide remembering Dio's face as her mutilated her body with his so called mark. Lavi sat there not moving an inch as tears streamed down her face with a faraway look in her eyes. She started to make small whimpering noises as she thought of Claus and how he would never want her now that she was tainted. Her mind whispered as an after note, now that she was marked. the thought made her break into heavy sobs hanging her head low her arms hanging limply by her sides as she thought, what kind of person is Dio that he would mark her like some animal or possession.

 

Lavi grew angry and the tears stopped coming as she sat there shaking in anger and hurt. Yes, she was angry at Dio but mostly at herself thinking, how stupid, I am so stupid to have trusted him when this whole time he was playing with me. I should have seen the truth; I should have been more like Claus and kept my distance. She clenched her teeth raising a fist and hitting her forehead over and over again until her eyes grew dull letting her fist finally fall to her lap. Her jaw hung limp making her lips part as she stopped shaking. Lavi's mind was clouded not wanting to remember or think about what had happened making her thoughts were slow and overwhelmed.

 

A knock on the door made her turn her head slowly. She could hear al's voice penetrate through her clouded thoughts but still made no move to unlock the door. Finally hearing the concern in al's voice she opened her mouth to speak quickly clearing her throat she asked al to wait a minute.

 

Lavi stood up as her mind cleared she fixed her overalls making sure that no sign that Dio had left showed. Lavi didn't want al to know at least not yet she said to herself. She lifted a leg starting to walk but could only shuffle because of the lingering pain between her legs. She opened the door slightly at first then seeing that only al was there she quickly opened it fully.

 

Al stood there concern on her face as she told Lavi how she had been knocking on her door all afternoon but with no reply. She told of how she had stayed with Sophia in her room and had snuck out to check on Lavi one more time. al gave a smile at the thought of how she had so easily snuck to Lavi's room not noticing how Lavi quickly wiped her face on her sleeve or how her face was very pale.

 

Lavi gave a weak smile that didn't reach her eyes as most of her smile did. She saw al try to suppress a yawn and quickly looked at the clock seeing it was eleven at night. she quickly ushered al out of her room and told al that she would walk with her back to Sophia's room incase Sophia was awake wondering where al had went. And with that Lavi took a slow step out of her room looking to see if anyone was in the hall. She heaved a sigh that it was disserted and held Al's had as they walked a few hall over to Sophia's room. Lavi asked al if she had heard anything about Claus and if he had made it back to the ship. al stopped looking down at her feet and muttered no. Lavi seeing how upset al was about Claus's disappearance knelt down in front of the small girl lifting her chin she gave the biggest smile she could and told al not to worry because Claus couldn't die before they flew the grand stream together. Al gave a small smile nodding her agreement and skipped ahead as Lavi stood up, she did not see the small single tear that ran down Lavi's cheek. Lavi quickly wiped it away trying to convince herself that Claus was okay.

 

When they made it to Sophia's room Lavi could see the relief on al's face when she cracked the door seeing that her absence had gone unnoticed and gave Lavi a quick hug before quietly stepping in the room and closing the door. Lavi stood there staring at the door then shook her head clearing her mind as she started the lonely walk back to her room.

 

When Lavi reached her room she stepped in the doorway and just stood there pictures of the night before flashing in her head. She turned to close the door wincing at the pain between her legs her eyes clearing as she thought of a hot bath. Lavi started to cheer up as she gathered her bath things, a robe, and a long sleeveless silk nightie. she was lost in her thoughts of a soothing bath to wash away all of die's dirt so much so that she didn't notice the pair of eyes that followed her as she stepped out of her room and started to walk to the women's public baths.

 

Lavi was relieved when she opened the door to see the bath was disserted so she didn't need to worry about anyone seeing her bruised body or the mark on her chest. She walked over to the first-aid kit hanging on the wall opening it taking out a tub of antibiotic setting it on the sink to use after her bath. Lavi turned away from the mirror in disgust not wanting to see herself as she was and slowly unzipped her overalls dropping them to the floor wiggling her feet from her shoes and socks and soon her bra and underwear followed. Lavi picked them up and stuffed them in the laundry shoot and reached up wincing as she peeled the tape from her chest and discarded it along with the gauze in to trash. she stepped into the large public bath giving a sigh as it slightly stung her skin and walked to the farthest corner lowering her self slowly breathing in the steam and closed her eyes feeling as if the water stripped her of Dio's touch and made her mind blank so she could just relax without fear or anger giving a sigh of content. Lavi was so relaxed that she didn't hear the door open or the soft footsteps of another as he disrobed himself and gave a smile at the relaxed form in the corner. Lavi only noticed when the water rippled at a disturbance on the other end of the pool of water. She opened her eyes a little and saw a being at the other end she opened her eyes wider in fear as she saw Dio wading towards her. She started to shake in fear as he gave her his trademark grin. Lavi opened her mouth to scream but nothing came out. She pressed into the corner as far as she could but it only made his smile larger.

 

Dio couldn't believe his luck finding her alone in the bath no less. He had left Luciola behind hoping to just check up on her when he had seen her leave her room with a arm full of things so he decided to follow her and see what she was doing. And luck had been on his side when he peeked into the bathroom seeing that it was disserted he had entered. Dio had quickly undressed quietly as he saw her silent form with eyes closed in the corner. And when he had stepped in the water he gave a smile at the shock and fear he saw in her movements he said

“Why Lavi whatever is the matter?” he could hardly suppress a giggle seeing his question brought her to silent tears. Dio reached out to take her in his arms but Lavi shied away saying in a whisper that Dio could barely hear

“Get away from me.” Dio fained a look of hurt and replied

“Why dear is that anyway to talk to your mate?” he narrowed his eyes and started to smile again. Lavi only gave a squeak of fear as Dio's form reached her pulling her away from the wall into his embrace. Lavi could feel herself cringe as she felt his arousal pressed against her stomach as he smoothed her hair making soft noises of comfort. Lavi knew why he was there and wished that he would just do it and leave her there to die inside.

 

Dio slid his hand down to her chin and lifted her face to him licking her salty tears that now covered her face. His eyes darkened with desire feeling her slick body against his, he was pleased that she no longer fought him and he could no longer ignore his lower region so he lowered himself and her into the steaming water excitement starting to take over.

LEALA: I know I know you must all hate me. I am in the middle of this chapter but needed a place to stop so I made a cliffy hehe no need to worry though I will post the next chapter as soon as I finish it which at this rate will be tomorrow or the next day.
