So, sorry it's been a while since I updated. I appreciate all the lovely reviews! Thanks much! They actually motivate me to keep writing. Well, here's another chapter. Enjoy! ^-^ Oh and there's another character I should mention. He's the guy that Jade hates but ends up being with. His name is Logan. He's 6'3', skinny, sand-blonde hair, green eyes and well built. He portrays my boyfriend! ^-^ That's his character. Anyway, on with the story.

*Ch 3: Lunch

As the students poured into the cafeteria, Jade searched for Naruto. After a few minutes passed, she spotted and mess of spikey blonde hair among the mass of people.

"Oi! Naruto!" Jade called out to the little blonde. He lifted his head from its downcast position and saw Jade. As soon as he saw his long time friend, his face brightened.

"Hey Jade! Um…what did you want to talk to me about?" he questioned.

Jade looked around. "This place is too noisy. Let's go up to the roof and talk there," she commanded.

Naruto sweatdropleted. "Uh…is it that serious Jade? You're not dying are you?"

"No you baka. This isn't serious, the world may be coming to an end but no, it's not serious…baka," Jade said sarcastically. (A/N: I LOVE SARCASM!!! XD)

Naruto stared at her with a confused look on his face and a question mark floating precariously over his head.

Jade rolled her eyes and bopped Naruto on the head. She grabbed Naruto by the wrist, dragging him up to the nice quiet roof. "Come on baka…"

*Back in the lunch room

The rest of the group, which came into the lunch moments after Naruto and Jade had made their venture to the roof, found each other, one by one and sat down and a table. They looked around to try and find Jade and Naruto among the crowd. They had no such luck.

"I wonder where those two are..." Gaara said.

"They could be anywhere, but it's not like Naruto to miss lunch. Jade must have had something important to tell him. Heheh…she must be telling him that she's going to express her undying pent up love to Logan." Joey snickered.

The rest of the group formed nice little sweatdrops on their foreheads.

"BAKA! That's absurd. You know as well as I do that Jade hates Logan. It must be another reason," Yami retorted.

"I bet they went to the roof…" Yugi said smiling and taking a bite out of his sandwich.

"Eh…how would you know that Yugi?" Yami asked the little image of himself.

"I've seen her up there!" Yugi chirped happily.

"I guess it's worth a shot," Gaara stated.

So with that decided, the group made their way to the roof.

*Back to Jade and Naruto

"So, what did you drag me up here for? I'm gonna miss lunch because of you!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Baka, is that all you think about? I brought you up here for a reason so keep your shirt on imp," Jade stated blatantly.

"Hey! I do not. And now you sound like Sasuke. He always says that. And I'm not an imp!"

"You could've fooled me," Jade said smirking.

"Ah, get to the point already. I wanna go eat," Naruto said as his stomach growled.

*Jade

This idiot is going to be the end of me. I swear it. All he thinks about is his damn stomach when he knows that I wouldn't drag him up here for no reason. I hardly ever spent lunch with anyone. I preferred to be alone and that kept me away from Logan.

"Listen baka. I'll get to the point. I saw someone earlier who I don't think belongs in this school. The creepy think is that when I turned around after he passed me, he was gone. Completely. Meaning I couldn't even sense his life force anymore. Plus he had a weird signature to his energy. I couldn't understand it. Something about him just wasn't right. I was debated whether to actually tell you or not. Now if I had only seen him once, I might have ignored it and not told you. But I saw him again before I came into the cafeteria. I don't think this should be ignored."

He stared at me and nodded slowly in response, taking in all that I had said. Hopefully he doesn't tell me I'm just being paranoid.

*Naruto

Hmm…suspicious character huh? That's not good. And the level of not good goes up about three notches because Jade said it was not good. As long as I've known her, she's never been wrong about these sort of things. I guess it was the demon inside her that gave her that sense.

"What did he look like?" I questioned.

"He had long black hair and wore a long black trench coat. He had these murderous red eyes that showed to me that he wasn't human," Jade answered.

Murderous red eyes huh? That seemed familiar to me somehow. Like it was from a dream I once had. Maybe I had dreamed about something like that. But if this guy is as bad as Jade says he is, we should do something about it. I can't help but wonder who he is.

Then I heard a gasp from Jade and turned my head to look at her. I was shocked at what I saw. There was that man that she had just described to me. He was behind Jade, he had her back pressed against his chest, one of his arms was around her stomach and the other held a knife to her throat. His head was perched on her shoulder and he had a murderous grin upon his face.

"Jade!" I cried out as I stared at the horrifying image in front of me. Jade just stood there wide-eyed, which was completely unlike her.

He looked at me with his blood red eyes and if it was even possible, his grin grew bigger.

*Third person

A sickening laugh filled the air as the man held Jade so close that if he or she moved an inch, the knife would pierce her neck.

"Hello Kitsune. Long time no see."

Naruto stood there confused. `How the hell did he know I had the kyubi in me? And why did he say long time no see? This doesn't make any sense!' Naruto thought to himself.

"How is it that you know that?!" Naruto yelled.

"Everybody knows that you hold the kitsune no kyubi little one. And as for my relation to you, I have met that fox in the past. I find it interesting that such a little vessel as you could even hold him." the man said. His voice sounded of pure evil.

Naruto shivered at the man's tone of voice. "W-Who are y-you?"

"Sarron. The bringer of death to man and the end of innocence," came the replay from Sarron. "I have a warning for you and your little friends Naruto. Especially Jade here…" Sarron pressed the blade slightly to Jade's neck, drawing blood. He brought the knife to his mouth and licked the blood off of it. "Stay out of my way. I have plans for you and the rest of the world and I will not allow you to get in my way…" With that, Sarron let go of Jade and disappeared in a puff of smoke. Jade fell to the ground.

"JADE!" Naruto ran to her side. Jade sat there with her hand pressed to her neck where he had cut her.

"Are you ok?"

*Jade

DAMN HIM! Why did I not do anything?! It's as if he had some sort of hold on me. I couldn't even move! I hate feeling week and useless. I felt the blood pulsing out of my neck. The wound had already begun to heal and would be completely sealed within the next second, leaving only a scar to prove that it happened. I looked up to Naruto who was kneeling over me, a look of concern on his face.

"I'm…ok." I managed to stutter out.

"Are up sure?" he asked me.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just a little…shaken."

"That's good to hear." he smiled lightly at me.

I got up and looked around. Then I heard footsteps coming from the stairs. I turned to see who it was that would dare come up here.

*Third person

The group of teenagers walked up the stairs towards the roof. As they reached the top, they were greeted with the sight they wanted to see. There was Jade and Naruto, standing on the roof, only, they didn't look to happy.

"Hey guys," Naruto said with a smile.

They all said hi and looked at the two, rather confused as to what was going on.

"Why do ya look so sullen guys?" Joey asked, a look of worry adorned on his face.

Jade and Naruto just stood there, sparing glances at eachother.

"Well?" Gaara asked.

"Yeah, what's going on?" Yugi said to his two friends. Yami looked down at Yugi and grabbed his hand gently. Yugi looked up to him and Yami nodded to him. Yugi looked back at Naruto and Jade.

Jade and Naruto looked at each other and sighed. Naruto nodded to Jade as to give the go-ahead and Jade looked to the group, a serious look plastered to her face. They all looked to her, waiting for her response.

She closed her eyes and slowly opened them again.

"We have a problem."
