*Ch 4: The Problem

"We have a problem." Everyone stared at her.

"What do ya mean we have a problem?" Joey asked.

"I mean that there's someone who's out to get us…"

"Why? And who is it? Have you seen him?" Yugi asked looking quite concerned.

Jade sighed. "Yes I know who he is. His name is Sarron and I did see him, in fact, I have the scar to prove it. He was here a second ago. He left right before you guys made it up here. As for why he's doing all this, I don't know. He didn't go into what he was going to do. He just warned me and Naruto and told us not to interfere with his plans. So obviously it's something bad and we have to figure out a way to stop him."

The group of eccentric teenagers gaped at Jade, not knowing whether to be mad or concerned.

"So you're saying that some psychopath is trying to take over the world and we have to stop it?" Gaara questioned. Though he said it more as a statement than a question.

"Uh…I guess you could say it that way…but this is not to be taken lightly. He may seem crazy and harmless, but that's enough to make him kill." Jade stated.

"Yeah…he seemed pretty intent on destroying and killing things. And he certainly didn't want us to get involved considering we have three demons and a crazed Yami, who happens to be a 5000 year old pharaoh, with us." Naruto concluded.

Everybody sweatdropleted.

"You know, you don't know what you're dealing with…" came a voice from the top of a small shed on the roof. Apparently Jade and Naruto hadn't noticed him there because of their bickering, Sarron, and the group of their friends coming up to them.

Jade's eyes narrowed. "What the hell are you doing here Logan? And what do you mean we don't know what we're dealing with asshole?"

Sasuke looked around the courtyard for Seto. It wasn't usual for him to be late. Something must have come up. Then he noticed the yelling coming from the roof. He looked up and saw Jade yelling at Naruto. He also noticed the rest of the group of friends up there and wondered what the hell is going on. He also saw Logan about 20 feet away from them, sitting on top of a tool shed. Logan, Sasuke and Naruto were friends but Sasuke and Logan weren't as good of friends as Sasuke and Seto were.

*Sasuke

That idiot is on the roof again…I swear sometimes I think he's protective of Jade. He may only go up there because she is there. Psh…it's none of my business. Like I'd care anyway.

*Third person

Seto noticed Sasuke staring at the roof and walked up to him, following his gaze. He then noticed the collection of people on the roof.

"Hello Seto," Sasuke said without even looking behind him at Seto.

Seto smirked. "There's just no sneaking up on you is there?"

Sasuke smirked.

"So what's with the little commotion on the roof there?" he said as he pointed towards the roof.

"The hell if I know. All I know is that Jade and her little group of friends, Logan and….Naruto are up there." Sasuke almost blushed at the thought of the little kitsune. Almost…

Seto caught this though. He smiled at the raven haired teen. "Can't stop fawning over him can you?"

"I do not fawn over him. I simply watch him from a distance." Sasuke glared at Seto.

"Hey, Joey is up there…" Seto's gaze landed on his blonde puppy.

"Now who's fawning?" Sasuke mocked.

"Shut up…"

Logan looked down at Jade.

*Logan

I looked down at Jade. I'm surprised she didn't notice me before and that Sarron was able to sneak up on her like that. She must have been too busy yelling at Naruto. Troublesome boy.

*Jade

There was him. The person I absolutely detested. Why hadn't I noticed him before? Probably because I was yelling at Naruto, but that was no excuse. I should be alert at all times. That's how Sarron had snuck up on me in the first place.

"Hey asshole, I asked you a question." I looked at him furiously. How dare he ignore me.

*Third person

"I'm always up here. So are you. You just never notice me because you're always on the opposite end of the school. And as for Sarron…" he trailed off.

Jade looked rather irked. "Ok…and what about Sarron?"

"He's not one to be messed with. I'd be careful if I were you."

"How do you know him?" Jade interrogated further.

Logan looked forward and closed his eyes. He sighed. "It's kinda personal, but to put it simply, I knew him once."

"You mean you knew him before he became an insane raging madman?" she said.

Logan quirked an eyebrow at this. "I guess you could put it that way…"

"Do you have any idea what he wants?" Naruto spoke up.

"I'm as lost as you. I've only seen him like this once and after that, I never saw him again…" Logan said, his eyes still closed.

"Well maybe you can help us with him…I mean, you knew him once which makes you know more that we do." Yugi suggested.

Jade glared at Yugi thus causing Yami to protectively step in between Jade and his little abiou. "You do realize that I hate him right?" Her voice was dripping with venom. Yami stepped back a little, not liking the murderous look in Jade's eyes.

"Aw…he's not that bad." Joey stated. He received a glare as well.

Logan laughed.

"What are you laughing at baka tere?" Jade said angrily.

"Nothing, just how cute you look when you're mad," he teased, knowing that it would upset Jade.

"I'm not putting up with this!" Jade yelled as she started to walk towards the stairs.

"Yo Jade!" Joey called.

Jade turned around, not looking too happy. "What?" she replied coldly.

"Just give him a chance. We may need em…ya never know. He may come in handy." Joey said.

"Fine…but keep him away from me!" She stormed off down the stairs and the rest followed suit. Naruto paused and turned back to Logan.

"Meet us at 425 W. Oakville after school."

Logan nodded in agreement. With that agreed, Naruto walked after the others.

"What a peculiar bunch…" Logan thought out loud to himself.

Logan got up and walked down the stairs.

The bell rang, signifying that the lunch hour was over and all the students went back to class.

The group file their ways into the last classes of the day. It went by quick for the most part. There classes had off coarse, been boring and this caused Naruto to get sent to the office three more times and Joey two more times. Jade gloated most of the day and scared the shit out of her teachers so they decided to leave her alone. Seto and Sasuke were quiet like they always were and the rest just behaved themselves and pushed through the day. The last bell rang and the herd known as the student body flooded out of the school.

Everybody went home except the small group of friends. They were all going to Jade's house after school, like they always did, considering she had her own business selling anime and had a nice cozy mansion.

When they had all gathered under the large sakura tree, they turned and walked through the gates, leaving the school premises and heading for Jade's home.

A set of red murderous eyes watched them walk away and decided to follow…
