+Chapter 4; Hate is a strong word but I really really really don’t like you+
((A.N. I am starting to like using lyrics from different songs as my chapter title. Lol. This one is from the song ‘Hate (I really don’t like you)’ by the plain white T’s.))
Seconds after passing Gaara, Naruto barged threw the wall of the Hokage office. He was greeted with a surprised Sasuke and Tsunade. Apparently they were having a very deep conversation. “N-Naruto!” Tsunade gasped.
Sasuke stood from the seat at his desk. “This is impossible! You’re not Naruto! Imposter!” He quickly glanced over at Tsunade to see her reaction. Tsunade looked back and forth between the two.
“B-b-but…” Tsunade was at a loss of words. A tear rolled down her cheek as she watched the events unfold before her.
Naruto growled viciously at Sasuke. “The HELL were you thinking?!” In seconds Naruto had Sasuke pinned against the wall with a clawed hand wrapped around his ex-friend’s windpipe. “You selfish…” Naruto tightened his grip slightly with each word. “Spoiled… Lying… BASTARD!” With that Naruto flung Sasuke across the room.
Sasuke sat on his hands and knees and coughed, trying to catch his breath. “You’re not Naruto… WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?! NARUTO IS DEAD!!”
“Oh is he?! Then who the hell am I?!”
“That’s what I’m asking you…” Sasuke stood up and glared. He was ruining everything! “Reveal exactly who you are and I MIGHT let you live. Otherwise I’ll have to sentence you to death for the impersonation of a very dear friend.”
“Bullshit! ‘Dear Friend’ my ASS!” Naruto snarled. Suddenly the door burst open and there stood Jiraiya.
“I had a feeling this would happen.” Jiraiya said grimly. Gaara was standing behind him. Gaara had told him everything.
Naruto whipped his head towards Jiraiya. “Stay the hell out of this pervert!”
“To tell you the truth I don’t think I even want to stop you. But before you go all fox-demon on his ass let me ask him a couple questions…” Naruto snarled at him then decided to let him. He reluctantly stepped back a little. He tried to calm him self down a little. “Sasuke Uchiha.”
“Another imposter… what the hell kind of nut jobs are you?” Sasuke stood and glared at Jiraiya. He knew full well neither of them were imposters but he couldn’t let Tsunade find out he had been lying not could he? She could easily strip him of his title and rank then she could permanently retire him as a ninja and give the title as Hokage to Naruto. Then the plan would be ruined.
“Psh… please… if I was an imposter then I wouldn’t know every detail about your past.” Jiraiya fired wittingly. Ever since the day the Uchiha clan was wiped out, it had been a law that only the Hokage and an Uchiha can speak of the incident unless they had valid permission from an Uchiha. “So since I know about that, I would have had to have been around when it first happened. All the local ninja at that time had to be informed on what happened so we could watch you and make sure no one tried to murder you too. Care to explain why I know that?”
Sasuke glared even harder. ‘Crap.’
“So, down to the questions. First of all, why would you feel the need to lie about something like this and screw with everyone in the village on such an emotional level?”
Sasuke smirked evilly. “Keh, keh, keh, keh. My dear teammate. Why would I care about how anyone feels about yours or that brat’s death? There’s nothing you can do anyway. I am the Hokage. I am in full control of this puny, insignificant, village, and what I say goes. If I say day is night and night is day it will be truth. How do you think you can stop me?! Ranting and raving until you can hardly breathe?! I merely LET that fox- brat choke me to make you think I really WAS Sasuke. You fools. I’ve been using the same jutsu for a full year now and no one has even noticed.”
“You aren’t answering my question.”
“Heh, I felt that if Tsunade thought you and the fox-brat had kicked the bucket I would easily be able to be named Hokage, especially since I told her that Naruto’s last wish was for me to become Hokage for him. But foolish Tsunade let her emotions play and didn’t give it a second thought before I was named Hokage.”
“Humph. What a rotten trick… Orochimaru.”
Orochimaru released the jutsu and he no longer look like Sasuke. He looked like the Orochimaru they all remembered. Orochimaru licked his lips with his freakishly long serpent tongue and smirked. “Correct.”
