The sound of birds chirping started to ring in your ear. Your body felt as if it's wrapped in something warm and soft, like wool. You flutter your eyes open and discover you're back in your house. Everything was just as you left it. Your bed untidy, your clothes covering the ground, and the hole in the wall from Deidara's explosion. You sighed. “Mew!” You felt your cat's sand paper like tongue lick your cheek. “Aw, hey! I missed you!” You kissed the top of his head lightly. “You're probably thirsty by now, right?” you laughed, jumping out of your bed stretching. The sun was shining brighter than you expected. “It felt like I've been sleeping for twelve years…” You went into your tiny kitchen and headed toward the back door. The cat followed behind, rubbing against your ankle lovingly. “You're lucky today, baby. You get bonus treats.” You filled his bowl with two large cups of cat food, and water complimented with ice cubes. He flew to the savory dish instantly, and ate like crazy. You walked away scratching the side of your head. You decided to watch the news to see if Tobi's “wanted” picture would pop up somewhere. You walked into your living room. Someone already beat you to the television set. “Hey, name-chan!” You had a mini heart attack, feeling shocked to see him there. Sighing, you plopped down next to him. “What's up, Tobi..” You gave him a lowfive. “I was trying to see if I made it on TV! I could be famous by now, y'know!” He was surfing through the limited number of channels, numbers one to twenty-three. He stopped, and turned it off. You smiled, and suddenly began coughing uncontrollably. Tobi turned his gaze to you. “I'll get something for that name! Stay there!” Within five seconds, he returned with a cup overflowing with water. You swallowed the drink urgently. Shortly afterward, your feel a sharp sting below your eyes. “Gah!!” You curled your hands into your face. “…Then it is true…!” You turned to him shakily. “Wh-what? What's happening to me??” There was silence. “You're… dying, name-chan…” Your eyes went wide. You grabbed Tobi by his throat. “Don't you fucking say that!!! You're lying!! Tell me the truth!! I'm not!!! I'm not…!!” You started to cry, as he held you in his arms.
Deidara returned to the large tower in Rain Village searching for Kisame. He was aware that other than Tobi, the two of you were well acquainted. He walked through the dark narrow hallway to reach the room where the thrones were located. “Un!” He bumped into someone freakishly tall. “Oh, Kisame no danna, just who I wanted to see, hmm…” Kisame looked down upon him questioning. “You and Name are pretty close, right?” Kisame leaned against the wall. “What is it, Deidara..” “Nothing much, I want to know what she's really like, yeah.” “What!? That's.....” Kisame stopped, and sighed. “Come on.” They headed into the Akatsuki's meeting room. Kisame went by a wall with a thin line stretching a few inches. “It's there. Her whole profile records with her likes, dislikes, blood type, all of it. Just don't…” Deidara went up to the wall and punched it fiercely. “Make a mess…” Kisame finished. “I'll leave you two alone…” He closed the door behind him. Tons of old plaster covered the ground and there it was: your life, summed up in a dingy vanilla folder. Deidara grinned evilly, thinking he would get some dirt on your past life. He immediately opened it. A small photo of you when you were younger slipped out of it as he blown of the dust from the file. “Heh heh, now let's see what she's about….” He began reading. “Woah, she is stupid! She failed ninja academy three times?!” He laughed to himself, continuing. “Hmm?” Deidara squinted his eyes at a newspaper clipping, and saw a photo of an extremely pale man with long dark hair. “…Orochimaru?” Orochimaru was well known for using humans for testing subjects. The events that went on in the village known as Hidden Sound Village was pure torture and hell. He was a true traitor of Konoha. On the back of the photo was a note, reading: I'm sick of this school. People always expect more of me, when I'm doing my best. I don't care if my grades aren't up to point, that doesn't mean I'm not a good person! I have a heart, people are just too blind to see it. Some guy came to me one morning, and told me the school was lying to me. He says I surpassed the teacher's skills! Isn't that cool?! I'm transferring into a new academy tomorrow afternoon. I have hope that I can do better now that Orochimaru-sama is showing me the way!-Name “He… manipulated her…” Deidara said with pity. His grin faded away slowly, as he rummaged through your history. There was a small scrapbook at the end of the folder. “Pictures?” On the bottom of each picture was a certain time. Subject 319026D: Name. Day one. It showed a picture of you looking normal laying unconscious on a steel table. Numerous tubes were being forced into your nose and throat. Deidara was startled by the image, but continued. Subject 319026D: Name. Day Two. A picture was shown where a hand injects a blue substance into your bloodstream. Day Three. Your eyes are opened slightly with dark eyelids. Day Four. Your eyes open some more, while traces of blue lines fade in from your cheek to the bottom of your chin. Day Five. Your eyes were completely black except for your pupil. A small slit of yellow remained in your eye. The blue lines on your face became darker. You were screaming. He tossed the papers out of his hands with his back slumping against the wall. “How could she not have said anything…?” Deidara leapt out of the window with stealth into the thundering city. He glanced at his bag of clay. “I sure could use a leather one by now, hmm…”
