Meanwhile, back at your house Tobi spent the whole morning consoling you. “H-hey! Tobi is truly deeply sincerely sorry about this, name!!” You broke from his grip, heading out the front door, changing into your complete ninja attire. Tobi shielded his eyes. “Huh? Where are you going?” “I'm getting my life back.” You rushed out into the street. “Wait!” You stopped, huffing with annoyance. “You're going to find Orochimaru, aren't you?” “You're damn skippy I am!” He approached your side. “You're going to need some help getting there.” Tobi kneeled down in order for you to climb upon his back. “For old time's sake, Name-chan?” You sighed, climbing up. “This might be the last time I do this, you know…” “Well, we're gonna fix that, now aren't we? Hahaha! Let's go!!” He ran into the busy town in Konoha. Wind rushed in your hair with acceleration. As soon as he gained a sight of a tree, he leapt for it. You could have sworn he ran super faster than before. The both of you spent four days and four nights finding your nemesis. On the fifth day, you saw something so horrible, that you'd regret leaving home in the first place. Tobi let you down gently. “His presence was around here…” Tobi looked around. It was a large field with some trees surrounding it. Numerous cracks and holes were in the hard dirt ground you walked on. You walked over to a nearby bush, and gasped in horror. Tobi ran over to you. “What happened?” Then he saw it. It was a scarred and burned arm with a mouth on its hand. “Now, don't worry name-chan, Senpai does this a lot! He's bound to be here somewhere…” You were praying Tobi was right. You sat on the ground hugging your knees waiting for him and Deidara to return. He came back with nothing. You didn't want to, but you mourned silently for Deidara. Even after he told you off, you admitted you still had affections for him, no matter how much you denied it. “It turns out that Orochimaru wasn't here after all, but his chakra is strong. Someone else with his power must have defeated Senpai…we'll have to keep going…” Tobi muttered sadly. You wiped your face and coughed. “No. I'll do it.” “What?” “I'm gonna get that bastard on my own.” “Hey! You're not being rational-” “I don't give a shit! I'd be damned if someone else I care about get killed! Stay here. I'll see you when I see you, Tobi.” You turned to leave. “Hey, name-chan!” You looked over your shoulder. “The Heaven and Earth Bridge, Go east, you should find him there, I'm certain.” The two of you went in the opposite direction. Dark clouds made its way across the sky, as you wiped of beads of sweat. The Heaven and Earth Bridge was torn apart, so you couldn't make it across. You sighed and punched the ground. “Look what we have here…” You turned around to see a man with silver hair appear from the forest. “Who the hell are you?!” “Aw, I'm disappointed in you, name. You should remember your… Orochimaru-sama…” You froze. ;He had silver hair that was kept up in a low ponytail, with pieces of hair falling upon his forehead. He didn't look familiar at first, until you gained a closer look at the man, finding out Orochimaru was merged within him! Half of his face was pale with those venomous snake eyes you feared. “Come closer, child…” He extended his hand out to you. Hesitantly, you walked over to him. There was a quick silence, until you attempted to slice his face with your readied kunai. Orochimaru grabbed your arm, and spun you around so that your back was facing him. The kunai was now rubbing against your neck. “Now why would you do a silly thing like that…” he sounded like a snake when he spoke. It freaked you out. “Give me my life back, Orochimaru.” You growled. “Oh? Your life? The thing that I gave to you?” The kunai sliced your neck, as blood spilt on your collar. “You aren't even worth my time…Ungrateful kid…” He threw you on the ground. “Y-you did this to me… I want you to get rid of it now! It's sad to say that… I had faith in you… but I was wrong. You gave me nothing but misery after I left that hellhole of a village!” You coughed, slowly transforming into your monstrous state. A grin formed upon his face. “She looks ill…Kabuto, give her this…” A small vile with clear liquid was rolled to your ankle. “If you want things to go back to the way they were, before we met… drink it before dawn approaches… it is your `dying wish', right?” You were silent as he grinned at you. “It was…a pleasure seeing you again, name…” He disappeared into the night, leaving you alone. You decided to head back to the Akatsuki's new lair to see Kisame. Drenched in rain, you rushed up ten flights of stairs to meet up with him. You slowly opened the door where the last meeting was held. You were relieved to see Kisame sitting down. “Kisame…” You hugged him from behind wearily. “Name… you're okay.” “Look,” you flashed the bottle to Kisame, and popped open the top from the potion. “Be proud Kisame, because after tonight, I'll be back to normal. I'll… be able to learn more jutsus from you. I can become stronger... I can finally call myself a true Akatsuki member….” You swallowed slowly as the liquid traveled down your throat. “Name, wait!” You felt your body go numb, and you fall to the floor. You see Kisame's face looking worried. He's yelling something to you, but you can't hear it. You feel yourself starting to sweat, as the entire room gets darker and darker, finally fading to black.
