Summery: Naruto caught Sasuke cheating his love on Sakura! But when Sasuke runs over the road to chase Naruto, a car is speeding towards Sasuke! What can happen!?

Chapter 1: How could you?

 

 

It was raining. On the 27th of July, it rained as thunder clashed with lightning that striked. Uzumaki Naruto did not take notice of the approaching heart break he would receive in full blow.

 

Yesterday a clear horizon,

Now the clouds are rollin' in it's disappeared.

The one thing that I've always believed in

Its strange how right now it seems so unclear.

 

Everything was perfect for him. The perfect life, the perfect boyfriend, the perfect love… Naruto smiled while holding his umbrella tightly. It was just after Art Class and the blonde boy is going back to the apartment, he and his love shared.

 

And Sasuke would be meeting him from the door. Class ended early today, so Naruto was happy that he could see his love faster. But who would have suspected that small incident?

 

Black and orange sneakers splashed water and mud around the Apartment 201 and a tanned hand opened the door. Strangely, the house was dark and the lightning reflected from it…making it frightening.

 

“Sasuke…?” Naruto whispered softly. There seemed to be loud thumps and soft noises at the bedroom he shared with Sasuke. Tentatively, Naruto took a few steps towards the room. His hand stretched out to the door knob.

 

I consult my soul, and it tells me that it knows.

There's no doubt one day, I am gunna fly.

Gotta stand up, dust myself off.

Just for now.

 

Lighting illuminated the room for some dramatic entrance and Naruto saw his worst fear. There, Sasuke was with Sakura. Both of them are on the bed, and the moaning is getting to Naruto's nerves. The books in Naruto's hand dropped to the floor, and the both of them immediately snapped their heads towards him.

 

Sasuke's eyes widened and Sakura gasped. One could practically hear the cracking of a fragile heart, and Naruto turned and ran. Sasuke immediately pushed Sakura out and grabbed a pant and a simple a simple sweat shirt with a jacket.

 

He put them on while chasing after Naruto and shouted for him to come back, but the blonde was too heart broken to hear it. How could he do that to me? Why… Why!?

His limbs jerked sharply and he crossed the road. Sasuke sucked in a sharp breath when Naruto crossed the road blindly, but as he ran after the blonde, luck was not on his side. A speeding black Mercedes (A/N: I know this type of car can't speed, bear with it!) suddenly did a U turn and was heeding for Sasuke.

 

One could the driver was dead drunk and Sasuke's black eyes widened in shock and horror. Naruto turned back and saw the car heading for Sasuke. His breath stuck in the throat and his limbs almost stopped.

 

Keyword here is almost stopped.

Thunder striked as fate made its decision. Sasuke closed his eyes for the impact but all he felt was a shove from the right side. Landing on the pavement roughly, Sasuke gritted his teeth in pain but his ears rang with the loud bang and the piercing scream.

 

One line can change a story,
so sometimes let the line just be unsaid

Pride only thinks about the glory
and just the right now.

And not the days ahead
I've held my breath

 

At that moment, Sasuke's heart paused, missing a single beat. His throat constricted and the Sasuke's open eyes catched the incident unfolding in front of him. The black car skidded and bashed into a lamp pole, while pushing Naruto to it.

 

The blonde's eyes became diluted and his mouth simply overflowed with blood. The rain fell more heavily now, and thunder crashed. Naruto them was pushed against the pole with the car upon his body, the pole fell down immediately.

 

The car blasted into flames and Naruto lay there limply. Sasuke gasped and stood up on numb legs. His mind had one last floundering thought and he barely had enough time to drag the bleeding blonde out into the safe zone before the car exploded, no doubt killing the drunken man with it.

 

To hell the drunken man, he deserved it. But...Sasuke's gave turned slowly to face the nightmare of his life. His sunshine had just been…sucked out.

 

Walked on shells hoped for the best,
what the future holds,
I don't know

I've gotta stand up, dust myself off,

Just for now.

 

One trembling pale hand touched Naruto's whiskered cheek…and immediately pulled it back. His body temperature was dropping drastically, and Sasuke tried to warm his lifeless by hugging him.

 

This is just a nightmare! All of this can't be happening…now he should be back at their apartment with his lover snuggling beside him in a warm bed. Sasuke pinched his cheek and closed his eyes before opening them again.

 

Naruto was lying beside him and his skin was deathly white. Sasuke shook his head and tears fell from his tears. He didn't even bother to wipe them off. Rain dripped off the darkening clouds from above and Sasuke's thought was drastically overloaded.

 

`Am I able to hear you call my name again? Calling my name with your clumsy tongue…can I hear it again?'

A red ambulance with a silver leaf carved on it skidded on the slippery road before stopping. A tall woman with a well endowed body hopped out of the van with more other doctors and rushed towards them.

 

Sasuke could make out the tall woman was Tsunade, the head doctor of Konoha Hospital and other was Shizune. “Sasuke, I need to give Naruto to me! He is in drastic condition and need to be put in the A&E immediately!”

 

Too bad, Sasuke thought while clutching the said boy's body closer to him. No way was he going to lose that dobe from him again! Tsunade growled before shoving her finger, pointing to one of the groups before cutting the air with the same finger, making it point to the Uchiha now.

The group nodded before running to Sasuke and holding him back, giving Tsunade ample time to take Naruto away and hang him up to a machine. Sasuke screamed out, his hand reaching out to grasp Naruto's, but his hand was not long enough and one doctor snitched a sedative into his vein.

 

`Naruto…don't leave me again…'

This was Sasuke's last thought as he fainted, and deep inside his confused mind, Sasuke saw the picture of Uzumaki Naruto smiling.
