+Chapter 3+
The twins showed all the ninja the rooms that they were staying in and now it was only Kuri, Kajuji, Kuniko, and Koinu in the living room. It was late. Everyone besides them had gone to bed. Their parents were leaving in the morning. They were bored… “Kuri, Kajuji, how about we go in the backyard and train?” They looked at each other and shrugged.
“Why not?” Kuri said happily.
“Well we should at least get one of those other ninjas to keep an eye out for us if nothing else.” Kajuji insisted.
“No way. They’ll just be annoying and besides, they’re all sleeping right now anyways. I’m going to get changed you better not wake any of them up.” Kuniko said as she stomped into her room.
Kuri smiled evilly. “I feel like pissing her off tonight.”
“Dude why?” Kajuji asked confused.
“More excitement during training.” Kuri shrugged.
“Awesome.” Kajuji and Kuri darted up the stairs and kept going until they reached a window that opened onto the roof. They carefully climbed out and peeked out onto the roof and were pleased when they spotted two of the ninjas that had recently moved in chilling up there. They had already done the whole name introduction thing so they knew exactly which ones they were. “Yo! Gaara! Sasuke! We’re going into the backyard with our sister to do some training, want to join us?” Kajuji called out.
Both boys turned around. They smirked and walked over to the twins. “Sure. Sounds fun.” Sasuke said in amusement. “What exactly are you guys training for.”
“We’re ninjas too. Hey by the way, would Sakura or Temari want to join us so that Kuniko has a sparring partner?” Kuri asked unfazed at being underestimated.
Sasuke looked at Gaara. “No way am I waking up Temari, she’d be a bitch if I woke her up right now and she’d go on a killing rampage.” Gaara said bluntly.
Sasuke sighed and rolled his eyes. “I guess I’ll go get Sakura.” He dived into the window and disappeared into the house. Gaara looked at the twins like they had five heads.
“Are you sure you guys are ninjas?” He asked suspiciously.
The twins glared at him. “Yes we’re sure!” To prove their point they ran to the other side of the roof doing simultaneous back flips off the edge. Gaara ran to the edge of the roof and looked down, expecting to see them flattened like pancakes on the ground below but was relieved and annoyed when they were standing upright, perfectly fine. They smiled up to him. “We’re pretty sure a regular person can’t do that.” They smirked when they realized they’d one. Gaara did his own little jump off and landed perfectly fine as well right next to them. Just then Kuniko walked out. She had a black tank top on and black shorts and she pulled her hair back into a pony tail with a black ribbon.
“So are you guys…” She saw Gaara. “Aw, what the hell?! KURI! KAJUJI! WHY?!” She was fuming. She hated being babysat. She was 21 for heavens sake!
“Relax, Kuniko. They’re only going to help us as sparring partners.” Kuri soothed.
“They?!” Kuniko growled. Just then Sasuke and Sakura appeared on each side of her.
“Ok, we’re ready.” Sakura chirped.
Kuniko looked at the pink haired girl in disgust and then back to her brothers. “Go to hell.” They simply started laughing.
“I vote Sakura and Kuniko spar first!” Kajuji announced.
“Brilliant brother.” Kuri agreed.
Gaara and Sasuke looked at each other. “Whatever.” They both said emotionlessly.
They all stepping off to the side and Kuniko went to one end of their large yard and Sakura to the either. “How hard do you want me to go on you?” Sakura asked trying to be nice.
“Give it you’re best shot.” Kuniko sneered.
Kajuji laughed. “Don’t take her attitude personally Sakura! She’s mad at us not you!”
Kuri stepped forward a couple steps. “Ready? 3-2-1-BEGIN!” Just then Sakura jumped into the air and flipped then came down to earth with a powerful kick. Kuniko easily jumped to the side and avoided the attack. The earth cracked and split and a loud ‘bang’ was very audible. Rocks flew everywhere. Kuniko swerved around flying rocks towards Sakura. Right when she was about to punch, Sakura moved into a blocking stance but Kuniko disappeared and somehow reappeared on the other side of her and landed one of the hardest punches Sakura had ever taken and she didn’t even sense any chakra in it either. Sakura flew to the other side of the yard. The twins actually winced. “Felt that one before…” Kuri chuckled.
Sakura sat up and she looked pissed beyond belief. They ran towards each other and met in the center and began throwing punches and kicks. Each one being blocked by the other girl. People started emerging from the house, the hired ninjas, they were woken up by the loud ‘bang‘ from Sakura‘s first kick. And they began to all watch. Just then something happened and dust was kicked up and one of the girls went flying from the cloud of dust. The girl had pink hair. While flying out of the cloud she hit a tree and fell to the ground. A panting. Her eyes had changed. Sasuke elbowed Kajuji. “What happened to her eyes?”
Kajuji looked at him like he was crazy then back to Kuniko. “Oh, that’s our family’s bloodline trait. It’s called the Ichigan.”
“What does it do?” Neji piped up.
“It makes it so that when your opponent looks you in the eyes, it throws off his/her senses. You get double vision, your hearing is impaired, and you sense of smell is almost non-existent. All together it pretty much kills your balance and ability to think straight as well, and it looks like Sakura looked her in the eyes at some point during that little fight and now she’s stuck like that until Kuniko puts away her Ichigan. And the Ichigan is only being used at it’s weakest ability. What I just told you is what happens when you use it as weakly as you can before it goes away. Kuniko knows how powerful the Ichigan is and that she can really hurt someone at it’s full potential because we’re not even sure what it can do at it’s full capabilities.” Kuri explained.
“So Sakura’s done?” Sasuke asked.
“Pretty much.” Kajuji chuckled. “That didn’t take long.”
Sakura stood up and swayed a little. She started running at Kuniko again and almost tripped. Kuniko stood up straight and took a couple lazy steps to the side. She turned back and looked at her growing audience and they all gasped at her eyes. They were a beautiful neon yellow with bright purple streaks surrounding her pupil like an explosion. She blinked a couple times and her eyes went back to normal. She blushed slightly and turned back around just in time to see Sakura hit a tree. She stood up and rubbed her head. “You finished yet?” Kuniko asked with a small laugh in her voice.
Sakura glared. “You wish!” Kuniko rolled her eyes she didn’t really feel like sparring right now. She bit her thumb so that it started to bleed then she used her blood and ran a line down each one of her fingers on her opposite hand then clapped her hands so that there was a line on each of her fingers on her other hand. Then she performed a few quick and easy hand signs then dug her fingers into the ground. “Summoning jutsu! The Five Great Dragons!” in five spots, connected make a circle, around Kuniko, and five dragons burst out of the ground. One made out of fire, one out of water, one out of clouds, one out rocks, and one out of sand. “I’d like you to meet the dragon of fire, the dragon of water, the dragon of air, the dragon of earth, and the dragon of time. Any questions?”
Kuniko bowed. Sakura stared stunned. “I thought you weren’t a ninja?”
“Says who? We always trained with real ninjas back in our old home village, what makes you think this will be any different? We were just never able to actually take the test to become actual ninjas. Our parents were too scared for us.” Sakura glared then charged at her again. Then the dragon made out of sand that was called the dragon of time let out a huge ferocious roar and Sakura suddenly froze in mid step. Her eyes didn’t even move. Kuniko simply walked inside the house, got some rope, then walked back out and adjusted her position a little. She then tied her hands and feet together than she ripped off the bottom of her tank top and used it as a gag. Then she walked back over to the dragon and it roared again and Sakura flew through the air, landing hardly on the ground completely bound. She mumbled something incoherent. Kuniko nodded. “Yeah, I think we’re done here. I’m going to bed. Dragons, you may all go thank you.” The dragons nodded and disappeared in a puff of smoke. Kuniko walked calmly into the house and didn’t come back out. No one was really sure what to do next. They weren’t sure how they should feel about what just happened. Humor? Pity? How about fear?
