Sun seeped into the large room as Sasuke slightly stirred before sitting up and rubbing his eyes, only to find himself alone in the room.

‘Well this is a nice way to wake up’ he mentally mused at how quiet it was since Sakura wasn’t there. ‘But where did she go?’ then it hit him. Today Naruto and Ino were leaving!

Sasuke rushed out of his room, taking no bother in changing out of his boxers and into something more. Through some halls, down the stairs and a skidding stop at the front door. Looking out one of the large windows by the door, Sasuke was greeted by the sight of Sakura waving towards the blond couple getting into their carriage. Sasuke watched as the carriage departed and Sakura turned around, a smirk evident on her face as she made her way back inside.

“Good morning, Sasuke-kun” Sakura greeted as she walked in and looked over at the raven-haired boy still looking out the window.

“Why didn’t you wake me up?” Sasuke said calmly as he turned to glare at the pink haired girl.

“You seemed so peaceful” she said in an innocent tone, fluttering her eyelashes a bit before continuing. “Besides, I’m sure you wouldn’t want to put up with that annoying boy. He kept asking to come say good bye but I shooed him off for you.”

“You what!” Sasuke nearly shouted at the girl.

Sakura looked at Sasuke a little fearfully that he had raised his tone for once. Sasuke sighed before walking back up to his room, coming back out soon after in a black T-shirt and jeans. Not the clothes of a future ruler but he could care less. As he plopped down onto his bed.

“Sasuke-kun?” Sasuke’s attention went to the door where Sakura was knocking. “Sasuke-kun? We have to get ready to head to the East for the meeting with the Hyuuga clan.”

‘The East? Their kingdom is close to the North border… I can visit Naruto!’ Sasuke mentally cheered as he walked over to the door and put his stoic mask on.

“Sasuke-kun, are you feeling well?” Sakura asked as soon as Sasuke opened the door.

Sasuke nodded and walked back down the hall and around the corner. Down the stairs and out the door and the two were on their way to the East of the fire country. It was a cloudy day, Sasuke noted as he looked out the window of the carriage while him and Sakura sat in silence.

“Are you sure your well, Sasuke-kun?” Sakura broke the silence when the two were about half way to the East border.

“I’m fine, Sakura” Sasuke growled, not bothering to redirect his attention to Sakura from the window.

It was a few more hours before the two finally arrived at the East kingdom, a large estate that belonged to the Hyuuga clan. The area was very lush. Trees were very popular in this part of the fire country, basically since there was so many birds living in the area. The large building where the clan actually lived was very old, made back in the feudal era for the first ruler of the East.

“Isn’t it lovely, Sasuke-kun?” basically Sakura was trying to suck up, not only to Sasuke but to the fact that she drooled over the newest ruler of this part of the Fire Country, Hyuuga Neji, almost as much as she did over him.

“Hn” was the only response Sasuke gave as they pulled into the estates front entrance.

The Uchiha wasn’t too excited to be here. Him and the Hyuuga were friends/rivals as children. He hadn’t seen the boy in years and now he had to face him for contracts and other stuff? Today just wasn’t working for him, at all!‘I wonder what Naruto is doing…’ Sasuke thought as him and Sakura walked into the large mansion.

“Well if it isn’t Uchiha Sasuke himself” dark eyes met clear silver ones as Sasuke looked up to see a very cocky looking Hyuuga Neji standing in front of him with a woman with burnet hair in two buns and chocolate brown eyes beside him giving Sasuke a dreamy smile.

“Neji” Sasuke growled the name as said man’s smirk grew.

Both glared at each other for a few moments before the burnet woman beside Neji decided to speak up.

“Neji-kun, maybe we should get on with the contracts” she suggested and Neji nodded and motioned for the other two to follow as he walked to a door and led them into a large room with a old fashioned table and four mats for them to sit at.

Each sat down and began their work. Both men did most work since the two girls kept giving looks towards both males and sighing when one talked.

‘This is why girls are so annoying’ Sasuke mentally huffed as him and Neji continued.

After a hour or so of agreements and disagreements, the two sides were finally at peace.

“Its pretty late” the burnet girl said as she looked out the window and at the dark night sky. “Would you two like to stay?” she asked, mainly looking at Sasuke when asking.

“No we should head back” Sasuke said calmly while glaring at Neji who was glaring back. The East and South might be safe but between those two, it would always be a war at which one was more superior.

Sakura sighed and accepted the offer, despite her fiancé’s decision.

“Ten-Ten, please go tell Lee to set up some rooms” Neji said as the girl ran off to do as told.

A few minutes later, a young man with black hair in a bowl cut and huge eyebrows jumped down the halls with Ten-Ten following behind.

“Yosh! Follow me to your rooms!” the boy named Lee said excitedly which caused Sasuke and Sakura to give slightly freaked looks towards him.

“Don’t worry, he’s harmless” Ten-Ten said with a soft smile towards the boy. “After all, he is my brother” she added while giving the boy a small hug and whispering a ‘calm down’ to him before he nodded and once again told them to follow him.
