Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Forbidden ❯ Attacked ( Chapter 9 )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

After sowing on his foot, Hidan started to inspect the building he would stay in. He took the white sheets off of the furniture, and found the couch cushions flat, the wood was delicate from decay, and all the other things in the building were starting to weather away. There were quite a few blood stains that were splattered on the building, not that he of all people would care if it were there or not. After looking over the whole front room, he looked into the room with the door slightly off the hinge, and a quarter ways open that was next to one of the couches.

“What a strange girl; hanging out in places she should be, and on top of that, acting as if it were perfectly normal to be socializing with an Akatsuki member! Speaking of which, I bet the Akatsuki failed without me there, seeing that Kohona still stands perfectly fine by how Azarni has hinted about it so far,” he mumbled as he walked in. In front of him about 3 feet away was an old toilet, with a cracked seat along with a tub beside it on his left, and a sink to his right.

“Well this place stinks, when was the last time someone used this place,” he said looking into the bathtub that had some sort of a dead animal, and cobwebs crowding it. Then turning around he saw a mirror above the sink that was fairly large and covered in a thick layer dust. Seeing how different he looked after 200 years of no personal maintenance, he whipped the brown particles away for a thorough look. For a moment, he had a look of near fright before he had a look of defeat.

“No wonder that girl has been pushing me for a hair cut, I didn't think it would get this bad! At least I don't look “old” besides the fact that I have a beard… I've got to get myself back into shape! I doubt my body would be able to do the things it once could do now, so there is no point in leaving this place for now until I build myself up again… Where did that girl put the basket?”

“Nice work Azarni,” Rin said panting as the kunai was stopped inches away from her throat. Azarni and her team left the village early that morning, and didn't get too far in their mission of being body guards before they were hit with a surprise attack by the enemy. A lord's daughter, the one whom they were protecting, was safe being guarded with Yokio and Ren by her sides, Azarni in the lead and Rin in the back. Only minutes before everything seemed alright, none of them could sense another chakra presence, but now one of their own was almost killed.

“No problem,” the startled girl said moving her hands away up to her own neck, as she used her shadow possession jutsu.

“They look like they're from the grass village; strange, we made piece with them a while back I have no clue why one of them would attack an ally of the leaf,” Yokio said with the other ninja, that came from the side, in a head lock. “Tell us,” he demanded the shinobi that couldn't leave the young man's grasp.

“As if I'd ever tell the likes of you,” the young women said as she spat on his foot and tried to brake free.

“What a rude little lady,” he said glairing at her as she tightened his grip, “Rin.”

The girl nodded her head as she squint her sakura colored eyes at the man beside her. “Answer his question, or you die,” she said now arming herself with a kunai she put up to his throat to join his own, preparing for an act of attack incase Azarni's jutsu failed on her. The ninja looked from his partner, to his captors. Though a rather weak shinobi, he didn't budge…

“I think that's the last of it! I must have cut off a good ten pounds or so of hair,” the man said rubbing his now hairless chin. “I look just as good as I did before Jashin-Sama, don't I? Heh, that girl saved me the trouble of waiting longer, though I'd probably still get out somehow or another… Perhaps I should use her as my fist kill for Jashin-Sama? … No, that wouldn't do, I still need her,” the albino man said talking to himself as he looked in the mirror. Looking back at the now rather clean, yet still filled with wet white hair, tub, he smirked and walked out of the room to look at the rest of the house.

Hidan then walked over the stairway, which was going to break down the minute someone put to much weight on it. So instead, Hidan leapt up to the last step that made a loud squeaking noise before he was on the second floor. He quickly looked behind him, then seeing that the stair wasn't broken, and continued to search around the house. There were a few rooms on the second floor; two seemed to be bedrooms, though only one was completely furnished. Then there was another bathroom across the small hallway, and at the very end of it was a room that seemed to be some sort of a Study. Just who lived here beforehand? And why was this place abandoned? Why were there blood stains in the building?

“We'll have to just leave them tied to this tree I guess,” Ren said answering her twin's question as Yokio pulled the tightest know he could with the thin but strong rope that was braided with chakra strands within them. With that, he made a few hand signs, and summoned a ninja dog to notify the Hokage back at the village that there were ninja who needed interrogation, seeing that they wouldn't be able to finish their mission by the deadline if they were to continue further with their own efforts of breaking them. All they got out of them so far was that they needed something of the lord's daughter.

“How ridiculous those ninja are,” Rin said as they took their positions once again. “Of course they'd want something from her, why else would they attack? Those dumb butts!”

“Oh stop complaining,” her sister said as they continued walking, “the interrogation team will get some info out of them soon enough, though I don't see them as a big thread since we took them down within twenty minutes once they got out of our grasp. I get that we're all Chunin and Jonin, but come on what are they genin?”

So what will happen? Why are the grass village ninja after the lord's daughter and why were they so… weak? Find out next time!

Sorry if this seems sort… I was pressed on time, and it's still a good page… Remember that I posted today and yesterday instead of 1 post this week! (I also am frustrated that no matter how much I write, it's all on one page!)
