Muted Flight

 

“…head to the Hidden Leaf Village,” said Ginsora.

 

Everyone went up to two gaurds guarding the entrance to the village.

 

One asked “What's your business here?”

 

“We're travlers, we wish to stay here for awhile and gather supplies,” Ginsora said.

 

They welcomed everyone in, but then one pointed to Ginsora.

 

“You, leave, stay out of the village.”

 

Ginsora was shocked but, then she remembered, she had forgotten to change her headband. She was still wearing her sound headband. They would not welcome a sound ninja.

 

Yuki and Umi started to argue but Kara shut them up and lead them inside.

 

Kai looked back at Ginsora. She knew she could get in anytime she wanted.

 

Kai turned and followed the others into the village.

 

Ginsora ran away from the village. She'd get in soon, but she wanted to be on her own for awhile.

 

She ran until she found a small lake. It was quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to relax and think things over. Before Ginsora did any relaxing she took off her sound headband and put on the one she had gotten from her own village. As she tied it around her, she remembered…those times. All the memories came flooding into her mind but, she pushed them aside.

 

*It could be so easy just to leave the others here.*

 

Many times, Ginsora argued with herself either to leave or stay. This was her problem, not anyone else's. Yet every single one of them stayed with her, no matter what happened.

 

*It's no use*

 

Ginsora slipped her shoes off and dipped her feet into the water. The water was cool. After a few minutes she went and sat under a tree. It was only noon, so she couldn't get in the village yet. She had read the guards minds that they switched with others at 2:00.

 

*What to do for 2 hours?*

 

Kyomi stood near the entrance to the village alone. Kai had went to see her uncle, Kara had went to find somewhere for the team to stay and Umi and Yuki had went to buy things that would be needed. Kyomi was alone and just stood there.

 

*What to do?*

 

Kyomi started walking; she didn't know what else to do. She walked for what was only 10 minutes but felt like forever. She found a small restaurant that sold ramen.

 

*Well I am hungry*

 

Kyomi walked in and sat on a stool. She didn't feel like talking so she pointed to what the boy next to her was having. While she waited the blonde boy next to her started talking.

 

“Hi, I'm Naruto. What's your name?”

 

Kyomi looked at the boy then down as her food was put in front of her. She began to eat and didn't look up.

 

“Naruto, leave the girl alone,” said a pink haired girl. Kyomi noticed her from the incident last night.

 

*Sakura*

 

After that Sakura started talking to Kyomi. She tuned her out as she ate; she looked at the other boy sitting beside Naruto.

 

“Sasuke,” Kyomi hadn't realized she had said it out loud.

 

He looked at Kyomi turning his head quickly.

 

“Do I know you?”

 

Kyomi couldn't stand it; she put down the money for her meal and ran away.

 

 

Kara had just gotten hotel rooms for everyone. Everyone had their own room so no one would complain. Kara had taken the third one. It was simple, a big bed, a bathroom, a TV, a huge mirror on top of a dresser, a small fridge, and a microwave. Well it was normal for her, Umi was rich and Kai and Ginsora always found some way to make money. So, it was never a problem. Kara went outside and walked around hoping to run into at least someone in her group. That's when she saw something a few feet ahead of her, it went to jump over her head, and she caught it.
