Author's Notes: I've been trying to throw in random stuff I say into the disclaimers. I hope you like this because I'm probably going to keep it up. I have no idea where this story is going I'm just typing and hoping that the gibberish forms a story. Serious I don't know what's going to happen in this chapter yet.

 

 

Naruto's snoring woke Hinata and she decided to grab a glass of water. She walked down stars and tried to remember where the kitchen was be fore running into Sakura. “Oh hi.”

 

“Hey. Are you alright?”

 

“Yeah just getting something to drink.” Hinata said as she walked around Sakura. “Couldn't sleep?”

 

“I could but Sasuke's tossing and turning woke me up. What about you?”

 

“Naruto snores.” Hinata said.

 

“Never would have guessed.” Sakura laughed. “At least I can stop Sasuke if I get him holding me.”

 

“Naruto quiets down if I roll him onto his stomach.” Hinata smiled slightly. “Sakura can I talk to you about what happened. Sakura nodded. Hinata told her the whole story. “Then Kakashi showed up and the rest I guess you know. I haven't even told Naruto everything that happened. He'd try to go after Itachi. I don't want him to get hurt.” Sakura held Hinata for a moment.

 

“Shh. Don't worry Naruto's not that stupid. He's not going to get himself killed for revenge. He loves you too much. Besides me and Sasuke wouldn't let him do anything stupid like that.”

 

“Thank you S-sakura.” Hinata smiled. “I'm glad you two are here for me.” They heard doors slamming upstairs.

 

“Oh my god! Sakura?! Dammit Itachi!”

 

“Hinata?! Sasuke have you seen Hinata?”

 

“No! Dammit he has them both! Come on we'll find him.” The boys ran down the stairs and saw the girls shaking their heads.

 

“Itachi? Where!” Kakashi ran out of his room and saw Sasuke. “Naruto move!” He threw a kunai straight a Sasuke.

 

“I'm not Itachi you idiot.” Sasuke called.

 

“Oh Sasuke right. Where'd Itachi go.”

 

“These two woke up and we weren't in the room they flipped out.” Sakura said dragging Sasuke upstairs.

 

“Naruto. You're an idiot.” Hinata said grabbing him too. “I'm out of bed for five minutes and…argh.”

 

“Next time check the rest of the house before you do that.” Kakashi said to the retreating figures.

 

“They won't!” Hinata called. “Will you?”

 

“We thought…” A loud smack was heard throughout the house.

 

“I don't want to hear it.” Hinata said angrily as she threw him on the bed. “You would have went after him without even telling Kakashi wouldn't you?”

 

“I…”

 

“Shut up! Just shut up! You would have gotten yourself killed! How the hell would that have helped me?!”

 

“Hinata I'm sorry.”

 

“That's not going to help you! You ever let me catch you trying anything that stupid again and I swear to god…grr!”

 

“Hinata what did you expect me to do. I'm willing to die for you. Can't you respect that?”

 

“Yes, but there's a difference between that and that stupid suicidal…stunt you just tried.” She was on the verge of tears from being this frustrated. “Just please never do that again. I don't like yelling at you but it's the only way sometimes.”

 

“I know and I'm sorry but…you have to understand. If he ever does take you. Trading myself for you would make more sense than coming with a group of people who care more about killing Itachi than saving you.”

 

“I would die for you. Can't you respect that?”

 

“No. Sorry but no. Hinata if I died saving you I could die without regrets. If you died saving me…” He just shook his head.

 

“Let's just rest nobody's dying today.”

 

“Yeah.”

 

 

“Sasuke that was really brave and noble and all that but…think before you go to run out the door like that. I don't want you getting killed because you don't see me next to you. And next time tell sensei before you try that. At least he could give you backup.”

 

“Sorry but next time leave a note or something.”

 

“Okay I will. And next time you see Naruto trying to go after Itachi, stop him. I don't mean that if Itachi has Hinata, but if he gets restless and want to go after him please don't let him.”

 

He nodded. “I will. I don't want Hinata to get hurt again.”

 

“Did she tell you want happened?”

 

“It's fairly obvious. I almost can't believe that he would do that. Isn't that terrible? He slaughters an entire clan, but I'm still shocked that he could rape someone.”

 

“I understand. Killing someone is different. Hinata's really shaken up. If Kakashi hadn't stopped him…”

 

“You mean he didn't actually…thank god. I know it's still traumatizing but it could have been a lot worse. I'm glad that Hinata's okay. No one else need to suffer at his hands.”

 

“No. Hinata's still so much more worried about Naruto. Even though Itachi said he'd be back. She's terrified.”

 

“Anyone in their right mind would be.” Sasuke said simply. “She's braver than I gave her credit for though.”

 

“Yeah. That girl's really something.”

 

“Kind of like you.” Sasuke grinned and laid her back on the bed. He kissed her gently on the mouth before rolling off her.

 

She was on him in an instant. “We aren't done yet.” She smiled down at him. He smiled back as she got undressed.

 

 

Naruto and Hinata had made up. She was still irritated but he wasn't getting screamed at or beaten senseless. She was a little short with him but that was okay she'd cheer up. “Hinata?” He had been holding her in silence for a time and thought she might be asleep.

 

“Yes, Naruto.” She sounded like her old sweet self. She rolled over and kissed him. “What's wrong?”

 

“Nothing it's just…I know that was stupid earlier and I won't do it again so…Are you still mad?”

 

“I'm a little annoyed but I'll get over it. But today was just so…I've been stressed out. I overreacted and I'm sorry I shouldn't have hit you. But I'm not going to apologize for yelling at you.”

 

“Okay. I can deal with that.” Naruto held her next to him and she smiled. “You still love me?”

 

“You know I do. I love you more than anything in the world.”

 

“Yeah. I'm glad to here you say that.” He gave her peck on the cheek. “Well we should get a nap in before sunrise.”

 

“Oh I disagree.” Hinata suddenly straddled Naruto and turned off the light.
