Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Love Just Hurts ❯ Protection ( Chapter 3 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Temari thought her brain was going to explode from all the new information she was learning. The teacher talked way too fast for her liking. Her eye twitched annoyingly as she continued to write down her assignment. The bell rang and she silently thanked it, gathering her books quickly and rushing out the door. Crap to those freaky teachers!
During Temari's next few class periods she found out that Tenten had all of her classes since the girl pestered her about them. It was the only way to get her to shut up. Lunch was next and Temari headed into the cafeteria with all the other students.
Gah. Too many people in one room. She got in line for lunch. Her eyes wandered all over the huge room. Once obtaining her lunch, which was a burger and some chocolate pudding, she searched for an empty table, one where she could be alone. Spotting one, she headed towards it only to be shoved out of the way by a jock. Her food spilled on her shirt as all the teenagers erupted into laughter in amusement at her misfortune.
Temari glared at the tall boy before her, burning holes through his head mentally, "Fuck you! Next time watch where you're going asshole!"
He laughed, "What are you gonna do about it devil worshipper?"
"Beat the shit out of you," she replied coldly, a smirk appearing on her face.
"Oh-ho! Lookie here boys, a bad girl thinks she can beat the shit outta me! Well guess what missy, I have a special present just for you!"
His friends circled around them both. Temari straightened up to her full height ready for the fight, until Tenten broke through the ring of jocks and looked him straight in the eye glaring daggers. "Back off her, Naruto!"
Her again? Temari was shocked.
The jock now identified as Naruto looked at her for a few seconds before turning around and leaving. He couldn't hurt his girl, or her friends.. no matter how strange and rude they were to him. Though he really did feel like beating up Temari cause in some way, she was more annoying then all the others.
Tenten turned and looked at Temari, smiling slightly. "Hey, are you alright?"
Temari had kind of zoned off during that time. Someone actually protected me, for once. Realizing she was out in "her own world", she came back to reality when Tenten waved a hand in her face, "Huh? I'm sorry, what'd you say?"
Tenten sighed. "I asked if you were alright and when not getting an answer from you, I was assuming you weren't."
"Eh? Erm...well, thanks. I guess, but I didn't need your help."
"Sure you didn't."
