Three days later, we had finally arrived in Konoha. When I had seen the gate rise from the trees I had found my reserve energy, transformed again and quickened my pace together with Shikamaru, who mumbled his quote. Walking through the gates Kotetsu and Izumo started yelling some very suggestive words at us.

“Had a nice trip?” Kotetsu winked at Shikamaru, who let out the sigh that normally accompanied his favorite word.

`They probably think we had sex on our way. They do think Shikamaru and Temari have spent three days alone in the woods.' I guessed their train of thought. `Alright, Temari had said: “Act sexy, but at the same time unapproachable and make sure to give the right signs that Shikamaru is yours and only yours. I don't want to come back there and have to beat some sense into his fan girls again!”.' Even if Gaara was against her relationship at first in Konoha she had never kept it a secret. Everybody knew better then telling her little brother, which she had used to her Advantage. Mentally nodding to myself I slipped my arm around Shikamaru's neck and smirked flirtingly at the two gate guards.

“Of course we did.” The two only got louder and more suggestive to Shika's irritation.

“You sure our little genius is enough for you.” Kotetsu again.

“We would be more then happy to satisfy you!” Izumo added raising and dropping his eyebrows in a suggestive way. This was what made Shikamaru boil and knowing him that took a lot. Possessively he put his arm around me and pulled me close, glaring at the two guards over his shoulder. The two quickly straightened themselves.

“Sorry guys, my Shika is more then enough for me.” I winked and while we continue walking to the Hokage tower I had trouble keeping my laugh in. `Temari is such a fun character.' I chuckled and felt Shikamaru release me.

“You were convincing.” He mumbled. It actually seemed like he had almost believed it.

“Just following orders.” I said back with a big smile on my face. His eyes met mine and a small, but honest smile came on his lips. You could see the love he had for the blonde. He opened the door of the tower and let me enter first. He led me to Tsunade's office and after a short knock the door opened, showing Iruka to my surprise.

“Ah, Shikamaru-kun, Temari-san, come in.” He said with a smile and opened the door completely. Walking inside I noticed to my surprise that the room was being occupied by three more people I had expected. Tsunade sat behind her desk with Shizune beside her which I had count on, but seeing Sakura, Sasuke and Kakashi next to Iruka was a surprise. I heard Shikamaru close the door and the Hokage opened her mouth.

“Drop it!” She ordered, after blinking in confusion for a couple of seconds, I realize she was talking about the hence and quickly dropped it.

“Shizuka!” Sakura exclaimed surprised. I could see Kakashi's and Iruka's eyes widened, but Sasuke didn't look amazed at all.

“You can already transform in what two months?” Iruka asked interested. I nodded.

“That's not all I'm also good with my kunais and Gaara made me a genin!” I said proudly pointing to the Suna symbol on my hitai-ate.

“Wow, you must have trained hard.” Sakura walked over to me to inspect it. “You can see it's new, there aren't any scratches on it yet.” She smiled up at me, before Tsunade interrupted us.

“Happy reunion is over, now why we're all here.” She got to business and her student took a step back to her previous place. “Like you probably already know is Shizuka-sama the Kazekage's concubine.” I quirked an eyebrow at the -sama suffix, but didn't question her.

`Probably something added by the concubine status.' I thought.

“Because of the increase in attacks, the Kazekage has asked us to hide her here as his sister until things settle down.” I had noticed that the mention of the attacks had made the present ninja's turn serious if they weren't already. “You six are the only ones, who know Shizuka-sama's true identity and I want you to make a schedule to accompany her 24/7.” Everyone nodded understanding. “Now your team exists out of a medical nin, Haruno Sakura, an academy teacher, Umino Iruka, we'll go over the training contents later, the boyfriend…” Tsunade couldn't help but smirk a little. “… Nara Shikamaru and guards Uchiha Sasuke and Hatake Kakashi. After Iruka-san gives you the permission you two are also going to train her.” I blinked stunned at her. She really had thought this thing through. Gaara probably had stood on continuing my training here. “Now I would like to talk to Iruka-san and Shizuka-sama alone.” The others nodded and left, except Shizune of course. “You should have gotten a scroll with your school results.” The Hokage said to me and again I blink stupidly at her.

“I do?” I asked before remembering that Temari had packed my bag. I swung it off my back and kneeled on the ground to search through it. I fished out a couple of scrolls and looked questioning at Tsunade. “How do I know which one is the right one?” I asked. I had to admit I really was curious about her answer.

“They're all for me, aren't they?” I nodded and the busted blonde signed that I had to give them to her. Together with Shizune she started to check the seals and after her search she ended with two scrolls in her hands. She showed the seals to me. “We have a secret code and this is the symbol for school.” She explained and I stepped closer interested.

`One must be my results and the other the lesson plans of Suna.' She opened the one in her left hand and scanned through it before tossing it at Shizune.

“It's the lesson plans.” She said to her assistant, who nodded and straightened herself again after having a firm hand on the scroll. Then the Hokage opened the second scroll and took in my grades. “It seems you have a fast learning student.” She complemented making me blush a little. A smile caressed her face while she tossed the scroll to Iruka, who looked at it on his turn.

“You're right, Hokage-sama, but I do notice that Shizuka-sama has learned less different techniques then our pre-genins.”

`I wish he dropped the -sama.' I thought looking back to Tsunade.

“That's where you come in. Teach her everything you teach your students.” The confusion was finally lifted from Iruka's eyes. “And since Temari-san is here concerning our lesson plans she can sit through some of your lessons.” The blonde smiled her conspiracy smile.

`No wonder she's the Hokage!' I said to myself. It really was a lucky coincidence. Her hand started to shoo us out and I quickly transformed back to Temari before walking after Iruka.

We found the other waiting on us on the other side of the door.

“Temari-san, Iruka-sensei, we decided to grab something to eat.” Sakura informed us when their conversation fell still.

“Oh, okay.” I answered. I was starting to get hungry and stopped next to Shikamaru. “What are we going to eat?”

“Barbecue.” My fake boyfriend said and I could feel my hunger increasing. I always had wanted to do that. It always looked delicious whenever they did that. `I wonder if we'll meet Ino and Choji or maybe Ino with Neji on a date.' I chuckled inside. I really wanted to know how they were getting along since I kind of forced them to dance together on the flower festival, which had led to their becoming a couple. When Shikamaru took my hand I snapped out of my train of thoughts and noticed that everyone else was already ahead of me.

`Thank Kami, Temari and Shikamaru aren't that intimate in public.' I sighed relieved, looking at our entwined hands. `Would Gaara and Temari also be like this?' I couldn't help but imagine them walking around hand in hand and the moment they were alone Gaara would pull his hand away like his sister was infected with some sort of contagious disease. Smiling I walked towards the restaurant after Sakura. We got to choose our own table and Iruka picked one near the window in the corner. He quickly sat down and pulled me in the chair next to him, making Kakashi pout sadly at him.

“Don't even think for a second I've forgotten what you did.” The teacher lectured him. Defeated the copy-nin dropped down in front of his boyfriend, who glared at him. Without a word Shikamaru sat down next to him and Sakura picked the chair on the head of the table next to me.

“What did he do?” I asked Iruka saving Kakashi from the icy glare.

“Souta-kun asked for a bedtime story…”

“And Kakashi picked his favorite book?” I guessed correct. Iruka nodded while the copy-nin looked sheepishly from the teacher to me.

“I just wanted to tell him about the birds and the bees and Jiraiya-sama's books are the best.” He turned back to the brown haired man in front of him. “When he knocks up some girl you'll be angry I didn't prepare him.” Even with a mask on, I could see the serious expression on his face.

“You're kidding right, he's only five!” Iruka yelled hysterical, pulling everyone's attention to us.

“Better now he's still young, kids these days start with everything much younger then we did.” Kakashi glared at the people, who weren't respecting our privacy.

“That's true.” I mumbled not really knowing if it was a good thing or not to defend him. Probably not since Iruka looked shocked at me. “But five is way too young!” I added quickly and the academy teacher turned back to his boyfriend.

“You should at least wait until he's 12! He's going to have nightmares.” The copy-nin's eye looked guilty, making the brow-head guilty on his turn.

“They really do care a lot about Souta, don't they?” I smiled at Sakura, who nodded.

“Where's Sasuke actually?” I thought he had entered the restaurant with us, but he was nowhere to be seen.

“Probably went to the bathroom, when you hear a couple of squeals you'll know he's coming our way.” She answered without a thought.

`She said that so easily… To think she was once one of those squealing girls… I wonder if she likes someone else, because that would be the only reason I could think of her backing off with Naruto gone. The connection between her, Naruto and Sasuke would be the perfect reason she could have a shot… after mourning of course. Who could it be?' I kept looking at her almost expecting the answer to show up on her face while pushing the bickering of the two senseis to the back of my mind.

“What?” Green eyes looked confused at mine and I shot out of my daze.

“Nothing!” I said too quickly and got a weird look back. The odd moment got broken by some squeals and I watched Sasuke rush to our table with a waitress behind him. He dropped down on the only free seat over Sakura while said woman quickly ordered our meals.

“So, we agree that…” Iruka bowed forward and whispered.

“Shizuka-sama comes with me to class and Kakashi will be guarding from outside the window.” Said copy-nin nodded happily. I could guess that he would be more occupied with watching his darling dolphin instead of me.

“He's good at that.” Sasuke mumbled with a smirk sharing the same thoughts. His old sensei glared playfully at him before looking back at Iruka, who continued.

“Then after school she'll train with Sakura and Sasuke, who'll escort her to Shikamaru's house where she'll be staying after they're done.” He glanced at everyone to see if they understood their parts.

“Then let's start eating.” He said grabbing at a piece of meat when they didn't show signs of confusion. I couldn't help but smile and followed his example when something hit me.

“Oh yeah, all of you drop the -sama suffix.” And the first piece of meat entered my mouth. “This is delicious!” I said startled, the flesh was much tender and juicier then I was used to.

“I'm glad you like it…” This time Iruka bowed to me. “Shizuka-chan.” I smiled thankfully back.
