The young man shivered as the mind boglingly cold wind whipped past him, causing the thin hooded cloak to wave violently. He stood in the dark dank cave, infront of the cave wall, praying it would open the stone doors. He sighed, his breath creating a thick fog as he did so.

The stone walls weren't anything special. Actually, if it weren't for the large crack in the middle, you wouldn't think there were any doors there at all. That's the way they were designed. Made so that very few people knew that the doors to the Tymeless Shrine were there. And even if you did realize these dorrs were here, you wouldn never be able to open them, no matter how strong you were.

He shivered violently as the wind picked up. Taking a few steps forward, he shouted as loud as he could, only to have his voice carried away by the wind. These door were made so that only a select few knew how to open the doors. The Guardian and a select few friends. There was another way for him to get into the shirne, but right now that was frozen shut. He had left the Shirne, hoping that the few friends he had let in were still awake when he returned. he had asked them to stay awake so that he had a way in, but it seems like they hadn't been able to do that.

He growled softly to himself. If it were a normal stone wall, he'd be able to get in without much effort. But these were the doors to the shine of one of the most powerful things in the universe. His powers to manipulate rock wouldn't be much help. These doors had powerful ancient protection spells put upon them, which reactivated as soon as he was made aware of these spells. There was almost no other way in, besides these stone barracades.

The barracades which the people he called his friends were supposed to open for him when he returned.

His tightly clinched fist glowed a soft golden hue. Bending down, he slapped his hand onto the half frozen cave floor. in a matter of seconds, the ground beneith him shook violently, reflecting his frustrations towards some of his friends. Just as quickly as it had started, the quake ended, the young man's hand no longer glowing. He sighed, looking up at the large hidden door infront of him. He knew that behind those doors would be warmth, shelter from the harsh winter night that he currently stood in. He sighed, hoping that the doors would open for him and give him entrance into the Shirne he, himself, was supposed to be protecting.

His prayers were answered as the large stone walls slid open just enough for him to dash inside. The warm air of the large room seemed to gently wrap around his cold thin body as he walked further inside of the room. Throwing the thin worn out cloak to the side, he walked further inside.

The room itself was large, round, and seemed to be carved form the cave itself. There was a large fireplace towards the right, which supplied the only warmth and light source. Around the room were several large old wooden doors with incantations carved deeply into their rough surfaceses. These many doors lead to many, many rooms in the shrine, most of which had valuable information needed to know how o work to Tymeless, when to work it, ect. The incantations had to be said in order to enter the rooms, though. Seeing as how not many could read on Catalyst, there was no real problem. In between the many doors were huge wooden bookselfs, each over packed with old books, picture, legal documents ... things of that nature. In the middle of the rounded room was a large brown colored marbel table with four matching chairs surrounding it, each one having a red velvet cusion upon its seat.

The young dirty blonde haired man walked closer to said table, noting the small angel-cat creature that occupied one of the seats. She was small, compaired even to himself, who was only five foot five. She slept on the table, face hidden in her folded arms, her long black and white hair covering what little you'd be able to see. On the sides of her head were large black stripped white cat ears, one which was being scrached by one of her large paws. Her long tail slapped the ground softly, and her huge angel wings twitched slightly. It seemed like the "angelic white tiger" was having another dream.

The Guardian smiled softly, resting one of his thin hands on the angel's shoulder and shaking her gently. "Lady Aratay. I'm back. Please, wake up."

A soft mewing could be heard as the youthful looking girls head lifted. Large yellow eyes blinked tiredly, whiskers on her chubby cheeks twitching in slight annoyance. She rubbed her large eyes, and when looking up at the man infront of her, jumpped out of seat yelping, "WHITESPIRIT!!"

Said puppy waved his hands in the air, shushing her quietly as he took a seat next to her. "Yes, it's me," he chuckled softly. "It's about time we get going, though. Is everything ready for our departure?"

Aratay sighed, looking down at the marbel table. "Yes," she said saddly. "Everything is ready. Ishi, Kage and I will watch over the shrine while you are gone." She paused for a moment, stairing into the faint reflection of herself on the tables polished surface. "Why must you always be gone for so long? Especially during the winter. You know the dangers that are out there this late at night."

WS nodded. She was right. There were more dangers here in the winter time then in any other time of the year. During the daytime, there were usually feirce snow storms and larger creatures who came down from nearby mountains looking for food and shelter. During the nighttime, the temperture dropped below zero, which made your chances of survival even slimmer then they were in the daytime. To top it all off, the creatures from the mountains were mainly nighttime hunters, anyway. Often, if you didn't find enought food and shelter to last the winter, you were dead by twilight ...

If you were lucky.

"I know, Lady Aratay. But you know why I had to be gone for so long." Seeing her turn her head away, he added, "I'll try to come back sooner, next time. I promise."

Seeming content, the tiger angel turned back to WS and nodded slightly. "You'd better keep your word, WS. Lately, that's one thing you haven't been able to do."

"And I blame no one but myself for this. I've just been buisy, you know this." Aratay once again turned away. Smiling, WS asked, "So, is Lady Youko ready to go? We're a bit short on time, tonight."

"The seven moons are full already?"

"Yes. We must act quickly, before we loose this opprotunity. It might not come again."

Aratay nodded, getting up from her chair, streching out her arms, legs and wings as she made her way to one of the doors on her far left. "I'll get Youko, you go on ahead," she said infront of the door. turning to the large wooden slab, she muttered the carved incantation, which caused the door to swing open, allowing the hurried angel entrance.

White Spirit stood from his seat, taking in a deep breath as he headed towards the largest door. Looking up at the large, oddly written incantation, he whispered it repeatedly to himself. Obviously, if he pronoucnced it wrong, the door wouldn't open. after being somewhat content with the way he had said this strange incantation, he said it slightly louder. The carving glowed a soft white light, and slowly opened, revealing a long, dark stairway traviling downwards. He quickly started his way down, the door slammed behind him, quickly turning his surrounding pitch black.

Small multicolored flames suddenly appeared around the blonde haired dog creature. Some of these flames danced in the air, some pushed the other flames off of their respective torches, others just lingered in the air as if bored. WS smiled, continueing on his way as many of the different colored flames followed him, each dancing around his head cheerfully. He didn't know exactly what these things were, but they had to be rare. he hadn't seen any other creatures like these anywhere else but here.

As he reached the bottom of the stairway, the flames circled his head once more, then floated back up the stairway. Looking ahead, he found himself inside yet another cave. On the ground, small glowing streams of water dimmly illuminated the gloomy surrounding. It loked like anyother cave, stalagmites and stalagtites, dripping water from above creating small glowing pudles down below. With the exception of the written spells on the wall, it looked like any other cave.

"Well, I see you're ready to go."

Turning around, WS saw a tall sillouett in the dimmly lit cavern. He sighed, replying, "Yes, but are you? We need to get going, or we might not be able to go at all!"

The tall figure walked closer, revealing itself to be a tall female foxdemon with dark sking, black hair and bright narrow purple eyes. She wore a black turtle neck sweater, and over that a green colored camofluge vest with many pockets. Black and white jeans hugged her curvey hips, and on her feet were large, somewhat worn steel toed and heeled boots. The overall outfit complimented her body nicely, and seemed to be practical for where they were going.

Pausing for a moment, WS looked around for any sign of luggage. "Where are all our things?"

"Oh, I used that weird little bag that Yami had given you. You know, the one that ever seems to run out of space, no matter how much shit you cram into it."

WS glaired as she walked next to him. "You're lucky I'm nice to you, or I might decide I don't want to take you.."

"Right, Pup, and then you'll say that Kit-chan wouldn't care if I didn't come."

The words on the moist cave walls glowed slightly. The surrounding water splashed around, then started levitating, forming a large glwoing bubble around the two.

"Lady Youko, are you sure it's wise to stay in your true form? You don't know what will happen, or what Naruto would do if he didn't recognize you."

"You worry too much, Pup." She paused. "Oh, yes. we're changing your name to Shiro Tamashii. We want people to be able to pronounce your name ..." She smerked. "Nacre Alberto Starsein."

WS Raised a brow. "You said you wouldn't call me that."

"I lied. You should know better by now."

"Fine. Just as long as you don't call me by my full name anymore." He paused for a moment, watching as the bubble closed up. He smiled as he said, "Youko Maat Ichi."

"What did you just ---?"

She was cut off by the sudden lifting and flying of the bubble. In that bubble, they'd travel faster than the speed of light, while their bodies were modified to whatever form would best suit the planet they were going to.

And what was this called, you ask?

The space-tyme warp of course!!!
