Sasuke's POV

Someone... I can here someone. They're... singing something. But I can't move my body. I don't know who it is. Why are they singing?

'.... Suddenly, I groaned in pain... I think. The person stopped their singing.

"S-Sasuke...?" that voice... I know that voice. I slowly opened my eyes; when my eyes became focused I realized that it was Mayu. "You're awake..."

"Mayu...!" I said sitting up slowly staring at her; she stared back at me. "Where am I...?" I looked around realizing that I was in the hospital.

"You're in the hospital, you bird brain!" Mayu said making me look back at her.

I was used to being called that, so it really didn't bug me much. "Why can't you just do what I say?" she yelled. Great, not even a full minute goes by and she's already trying to bite my head off.

"Mayu, I just woke up and I have a headache," I told her; she just glared at me.

"Well, if you would've just listened to me, you wouldn't have the stupid heachache!" Mayu continued to yell.

"Well, what about you!?" I yelled back. "If you had just waited a little while longer then you wouldn't have got hurt!" I was not in the mood for her lecture.

"Oh, that's real nice... seeing as though you're the one who hit me!" Mayu yelled standing. She was angry, I knew this because her sarcastic ways were showing, but she can be such a pain sometimes.

"And that could have been avoided also if you had waited!" I said lowering my voice; I didn't want anyone to bust into the room wondering who was yelling. Mayu stood still and stayed silent, she only stared and then just bowed her head. That wasn't very Mayu at all. Mayu would never back down so quickly.

"S-Sasuke..." she muttered.

I must admit... seeing her like this was weird. But any minute now, Mayu will probably punch me. That's just how she is. I could already see her hands clenched at her sides. "Any second now," I thought. But what Mayu did was not a punch... it was... I suddenly felt Mayu's arms wrap around my neck and she literally pulled me into her chest...! Ya see that...? EXCLAIMATION POINT!!!

I could feel her... chest area press against my cheek! God, since when is Mayu so developed? I could feel myself blush being this close to her. I don't blush! I have never blushed! Why the heck am I blushing? Suddenly, I feel drops of liquid on my hair.

"M-Mayu...?" I said as my eyes widen. Was she...?

"Sasuke, I'm s-so sorry!" Mayu cried out. Ishikari Mayu was crying! "I-I-I was just so worried about you." I pried her hands from around my neck and pulled my head away. "S-Sasuke... I'm sorry..." I actually saw the tears running down her face and they seemed endless.

"Stop crying, Mayu," I said to her; I pushed the covers from my body and put my legs over the side of the bed. Mayu took a few steps back at my movement.

"But I--" I cut her off by grabbing her wrist and pulling her towards me.

"No," I said reaching up and wiping her tears away. "Don't cry... I understand that you were worrying about me and I'm grateful. But I don't want you to cry anymore. The Mayu I know doesn't cry." Now, don't put too much thought into my actions. I only did it to stop her from crying!

Mayu blinked causing more tears to fall and then she smiled. "You're right..." she chuckled wiping the rest of her tears away with her free hand. "I shouldn't be crying like this. You're fine now, so... there's no need, right?"

"Right," I said. "Everything is fine."

"Yeah..."

"Are you okay, now?" I asked; she nodded and then grinned.

I sighed inwardly at her grin. "She's back..." I thought. I honestly hate seeing Mayu like that. It's like... she's not suppose to be like that. I'd rather have a carefree, idiotic Mayu, than a sad, crying Mayu.

"Thank you, Sasuke... you made me better!" she said. "You're really good at doing that!"

I looked away as I released Mayu's wrist. "Whatever..." I grumbled.

"No, I mean it... that's why..." Mayu began turning around. Her hands were behind her back, she went towards the window and looked out, but she didn't continue. I became impatient at her silence.

"Well, are you going to finish?" I asked. Mayu turned around and smiled at me.

I coughed a little... why does she always do that? Just say what you have to say already! "That's why... I won't mind marrying you," she finished. And just like that I started choking on my saliva! I even fell off the bed trying to clear my thoat. "Sasuke...?" Mayu said, I could hear her coming towards me. "What's wrong? Do you need some bird food?" I glared at the ground then look at her.

"Please tell me I heard her wrong!" I thought staring at the now confused looking Mayu. She got on her knees next to me. "What d-did you just say?"

"Sasuke..." Mayu said look away. "Don't make me say it again..." she looked make at me, a pink shade was adorning her face!

"Oh my God...!" I thought. "J-Just tell me!" I said out loud.

"Oh, fine then!" Mayu said frowning. "If it means that much to you! I said I wouldn't mind carrying you... you know like after your mission. If you're hurt, I will carry you..." I inwardly sighed... I can't believe I misunderstood her again! But I... why did I feel... "Naw! I'm just joking! What I really said was... I wouldn't mind... marrying you... Sasuke."

"M-Mayu..." I couldn't help but whisper. This has to be some kind of dream... I mean nightmare...

"Yeah, leave it to me!" a new voice filled my ears. What the heck...? Suddenly, Mayu started vanishing before my eyes!

"M-Mayu!" I said reaching out to her, but my fingers just slipped right through. She smiled at me as if she didn't know what was happening.

"Don't worry, bird brain," Mayu said winking. "We'll see each other again."

Sasuke opened his eyes slowly causing his friends eyes to widen. "Sasuke...!" Naruto was the first to speak.

"Sasuke-kun...!" Sakura was second.

"Sasuke-san... you're awake," Hinata was third. Sasuke removered the covers and sat up, his eyes were distant and glazed over. Almost as if, he himself wasn't there.

Mayu: Sasuke... he's okay. A little on the high-looking side, but he's okay.

"High...?" Hinata thought in confusion.

Mayu: Uh... I'll explain when you're older, Hinata.

"SASUKE-KUN...!" Sakura suddenly yelled throwing her arms around Sasuke. Mayu's eyebrow twitch.

Mayu: What the hell? Give the guy some space, he did just woke up!

Hinata tried desparately to stop her laugh at her friends words. "Mayu-san..." she thought smiling lightly. Meanwhile, Sakura refused to stop crying on Sasuke's shoulder.

"Sasuke, you know you own me big time for this, right?" Naruto said laughing. Sasuke, suddenly wrapped his arm around Sakura's waist!

Naruto: O.O
Hinata: O.O -blushes-
Sakura: O.O
Mayu: Oh, hell to the naw!

"M-Mayu..." Sasuke whispered but everyone still heard it.

Mayu: O...O

Sakura pulled away from Sasuke, a look of hurt on her face. "I-I-I think it's time to go, now!" Naruto said grabbing Hinata's wrist and going for the door. "Come on, granny! Kakashi-sensei is next!" Tsunade sighed and followed Naruto and a blushing Hinata out of the room.

"Don't get used to calling me that!" she called to Naruto, who wasn't listening. Back in the room, Sasuke's eyesight had finally become clear.

"S-Sakura...?" he said facing the pink-haired kunochi.

"M-Mayu... is that her name?" she said wiping her tears away.

"She knows about Mayu...?" Sasuke thought. "But how? It can't be!"

"The name of your girlfriend?" Sakura continued making Sasuke face fault.

"I hope she isn't the one going around saying that! It was most likely Naruto," Sasuke thought. "I don't have a girlfriend," he said out loud.

Sakura looked up at Sasuke with almost disbelieving eyes. "B-But that name... was the first thing you said when you woke up," she said. Sasuke's eyes widen and then he looked away.

"I said I don't have a girlfriend, okay!" Sasuke said. "Just forget what some moron might have said to you." Sakura's face brightened at his answer, but then frowned.

"But then... who is this Mayu?" she asked curious.

"I guess she forgot about who she was sitting next to during my fight with Gaara," Sasuke thought. "She died a long time ago... she was like a grandmother to me," he lied through his teeth.

"Oh," Sakura gasped. "I'm sorry to have brought up sad memories."

"Whatever..."

"Tell ya what... to make you feel better..." Sakura began. "Let's get something to eat, just me and you."

"No thank you," Sasuke said getting out of bed. "I have to train."

"But you just--" Sakura sighed. "Oh well, at least you're okay, now." Sasuke opened the door to the room. "Hey, where are you going?"

"To train..." Sasuke said walking out.

"Don't you have to check out first? And you don't even have your shoes on, yet!" Sakura shouted after him. "Sasuke-kun, come back!"

"How pathetic," Tsunade said with disappointing eyes. "I heard you got beaten by two thugs. And I thought you were a genius."

"You don't have to be mean about it, right, Hinata-chan?" Naruto said turning his attention to the said girl. Hinata nodded her head slightly, a blush formed on her face.

"Yes, but that was a-amazing, Tsunade-sama," Hinata said poking her fingers together.

"You like that...?" Tsunade said turning to Hinata. "Are you thinking of becoming a medic nin?"

Hinata shook her head in response. "N-No... I w-want to focus on g-getting stronger, right now," Hinata answered still blushing.

"Yeah, yeah!" Naruto piped in grinning. "Hinata-chan's going to get stronger just like me! Hey, hey! Did you know she learns from me?" Hinata's blush deepened at Naruto's words.

"I see..." Tsunade muttered.

Mayu: Hinata ease down on the blushing! It's hot in here!

"Sorry, Mayu-san..." Hinata thought.

"Anyway, Kakashi-sensei is done, now!" Naruto shouted gaining attention. "Now it's time for bushy brows!"

Suddenly, Gai popped out of nowhere with a frantic look in his eyes. "Please hurry up and take care of my Lee!" he said pointing out the door.

"Fine, fine..." Tsunade sighed out heading for the door. Everyone followed close behind the big-chested woman. Hinata was the last one out, she didn't notice someone leaning on the wall until they grabbed her wrist. She almost let out a small yelp, but a hand covered her mouth.

"Quiet... I just want to talk to Mayu," a familiar voice said.

"Sasuke-san...?" Hinata thought looking back at Naruto's teammate. Sasuke released Hinata and then looked to where the others had disappeared to.

"She is with you, right?" Sasuke asked turning back to Hinata. "She's okay, isn't she?" Hinata nodded slowly, slightly confused at Sasuke's actions. "Well, I want to talk to her."

Mayu: He doesn't have to be rude about it!

Hinata performed the hand signs to release Mayu. "Clone jutsu," she said making the final hand sign. A puff of smoke appeared right next to Hinata.

"Did you have to talk to Hinata like that?" Mayu asked once the smoke fully cleared.

"Um... I'm going to leave, now," Hinata spoke up. Mayu turned to Hinata and waved.

"Okay, then, Hinata!" she said. "I'll catch up in a minute. But please don't wait up for me." Hinata nodded and then took off down the hallway where Naruto had gone.

Mayu turned back to Sasuke with a smile on her face. "So... what's up?" she asked casually.

"Not here," Sasuke said grabbing Mayu's arm and pulling her towards himself. "Come with me."
"Ah! Bird brain, stop with the pulling!" Mayu said following Sasuke.

"So what the heck did you drag me up here for?" Mayu asked. The two were standing on the roof of the hospital.

"I want to talk," Sasuke answered not even glancing at Mayu, who in turn, frowned.

"What is it then?" Mayu asked.

"How... how can you be so damn care free all the time!?" Sasuke asked turning to face her with angry eyes.

"What the hell just happened...?" Mayu thought in confusion. "Wasn't he just calm?"

"MAYU!" Sasuke shouted. "Answer the damn question!"

"Okay, first up, you need to quit yelling at me!" Mayu said calmly which wasn't normal for her. "Second... I've got no idea what you mean when you ask that."

"How can you be so casual after what happened?" Sasuke asked calming down a bit. "You act as if this didn't happen. You act as if I..." he trailed off leaving Mayu in even more confusion. Sasuke turned away from her and bowed his head. "... I hurt you, Mayu physically and mentally. You don't remember?"

"Something is definitely wrong with Sasuke," Mayu thought taking a step back. "I remember... I started to remember stuff when you were unconscious," she said out loud. "But it was my fault... I should have listened," Mayu looked at the ground. "I'm the one who needs to be forgiven."

"Mayu..."

"No, it's true. If I had just stayed put for a little while longer, you probably wouldn't have got hurt so badly," Mayu continued. "That makes me feel sad that I was the one who did that. I just want to forget about it."

Without any type of warning, Sasuke appeared in front of Mayu and gently grabbed her chin. "How the hell does he move so fast?" Mayu thought staring up at the taller boy; Sasuke had a small smile on his face. So small that Mayu hardly recognized it. "Huh...? What the heck is wrong with him?"

"Mayu... you really do care for me," Sasuke finally said.

"Of course I do!" Mayu said. "You're my friend, bird brain!" she couldn't help but say his nickname. "Why would you think I wouldn't?"

Sasuke shook his head and mumbled something. "Okay then... would you mind letting me go, now?" Mayu asked. "I'm gonna get a crook in my neck."

"Sorry," Sasuke said but he didn't release her.

"Um... Sasuke..."

"What color are your eyes?" Sasuke suddenly asked. Mayu looked at him like he had gone insane. "It's been bugging me since you came here."

"Uh... they're blue, very rare for someone like me," Mayu asked forgetting the fact that Sasuke still held on to her. Sasuke let his arm drop to his side.

"Why is that?" Sasuke asked.

"Well, I'm Blackanese..." Mayu answered nonchalantly.

"What?"

"Heh... I'll explain later," Mayu laughed nervously. "Much later, if I can help it..." she finished in thought.

"I want to see them," Sasuke said gaining Mayu's attention again.

"What?"

"Your eyes, I mean," Sasuke explained. "I bet they're full of defiance just like you." Mayu glared at her ninja friend and then stuck her tongue out.

"So what if I am a little defiant?" she said.

"I bet they're as cute as you, too..." Sasuke said.

Mayu blinked rapidly at Sasuke's words. Her blinking slowed down and now, she just had a confused look on her face. "What's with the look?" Sasuke asked almost with an innocent face.

"Sasuke... I'm going to ask you something, okay?" Mayu said. "And I want you to answer this truthfully."

"Okay, what is it?"

"While you were in the hospital... did someone give you 'medicine'...?" Mayu said with bunny fingers when she said medicine.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" Sasuke answered making Mayu's eyes go wide.

"H-How m-much did you t-take?" she asked shaking slightly.

"The nurse said one pill was to help me regain my strength and energy, so I took five!" Sasuke answered.

"Well, that would explain his creepy behavior," Mayu thought staring at Sasuke strangely. "Okay... uh... I think it's time to go back inside the hospital, now!"

"What for...?"

"Because you'e going to start acting like... a crackhead," Mayu explained with a straight face. "And that's something I do not want to see... no matter how funny."

"Fine... fine," Sasuke said. "Doesn't make a difference to me."

Mayu's POV

"SASUKE-KUN, THERE YOU ARE!" a woman's scream filled my ears as soon as Sasuke and I walked through the entrance. I saw a lady behind the desk; I'm guessing she was the nurse. "I've been looking all over for you! Why did you take so many pills!?" the nurse yelled at Sasuke. He only ignored her and stared out the window. I grabbed Sasuke's arm and dragged him over to the desk.

"You have to forgive him," I told her. "He's a bird brain. And he's ready to check out, now."

"Are you the one checking him out?" the nurse asked.

"He can't do it...?" I asked.

"Not in his... current state," the nurse answered looking at Sasuke making me turn to him as well. Sasuke... Uchiha Sasuke was trying to catch an imaginary thing with his hands! "I don't he will be able to walk home by hisself either. He'll pass out in a hour or so after taking all those pills. Taking many of those pills will drive him hyper and then pass out. Kinda like sake..."

"Does that mean I have to carry him home?" I asked as I signed my name on the paper, secretly thinking anime tears were streaming down my face.

I finished signing Sasuke's name and looked up at the nurse; she had a grin on her face. "Aren't you his girlfriend?" she asked. "You two look so cute together!" At first I didn't understand why she would think something like that! Then suddenly... my friggin' face feels like Hinata's! You know what I'm talking about, when Naruto's around!

"N-N-No! We're just friends!" I tried hard not to yell. "N-Nothing but friends!"

Suddenly, I felt an arm wrap around my waist! It was Sasuke! He pulled me close to his body! AAAAAAAHHHH! "Don't be so modest, Mayu-chan," he said in my ear, but I'm pretty sure the nurse heard because she had stars in her eyes! I'M SO GLAD NO ONE ELSE IS AROUND! "We don't have to lie about our relationship anymore," he continued.

"He's on the pill... he's on the pill..." I chanted in my mind.

I elbowed Sasuke in the gut almost forgetting that he was just hurt, but I remembered and still did it. "I guess you disagree..." he muttered falling to the ground. I huffed out while crossing my arms.

"Can we go now?" I asked the still starry-eyed nurse.

"Oh, yes, of course!" she answered waving us off. I picked up Sasuke by the back of his collar and dragged him through the doors. "Ahh... young love," I heard the nurse say as I exited. My eye twitched... now I'll have a glare on my face right about... now!

"Stupid old hag!" I thought angrily. Even though, she was probably in her early 30's.

"Mayu, can you stop dragging please?" Sasuke asked me. Yup, I still hadn't stop to release. Besides, we're almost to Sasuke's house... the Uchiha Estate. I can't believe Sasuke could live down after what happened. "Hey!"

"Oh, calm down," I said letting him drop to the ground. "You've should have said something earlier."

I stopped and looked back at Sasuke, who was wiping his butt off. "You're awefully heavy, Sasuke," I told him. "Maybe you should lose some weight," I suggested; I continued walking. Sasuke walked beside me and grabbed my hand.

"It's muscle," he said making me roll my eyes; we both walked through the entrance. "Anyway, we're going over here." Sasuke made me follow him east. "A hotel is on the grounds," he said.

"We're not going to your house?" I questioned. Sasuke started running all of a sudden making me almost trip and fall, but it didn't happen. Thank the heavens!

"If possible, I try to avoid that place," Sasuke answered. Oh yeah... I nearly forgot.

"So you own all of this land?" I asked trying to change the subject. "I'm impressed that you've managed to fix this place up," I said looking at all the building as we dashed right by them, Sasuke had released my hand by now.

"Had to, can't restart the clan with a dirty place," Sasuke said stopping his run.

I stopped beside him and looked at the building we were in front of. It looked like a typical hotel, only two floors, though. "The Third Hokage helped me. Come on," he continued walking towards the entrance; I quickly followed after him. He unlocked the door and opened it. Sasuke gestured me to go in first, which made me become suspicious.

"You don't have a plan to drop something on my head, do you?" I asked with my hand on the doorknobe.

"Of course not," Sasuke said pushing me forward. "Hurry up, I'm hungry and -yawn- sleepy."

"Alright, already!" I muttered opening the door and then I walked in. WHOOSH! Something whizzed passed my face! "What the heck was that?" I yelled turning my head to see what almost hit me. It was a kunai! A friggin' kunai of all things. "And here I was thinking it was going to be water!" I thought terrified. I heard Sasuke walk in behind me.

"Oh, sorry about that," Sasuke said moving me to the side. He grabbed the kunai out of the wall and sighed. "This whole place is booby trapped... as well as all the buildings on this land."

"W-What f-for...?" I asked scared while looking around suspiciously.

"Fangirls..." Sasuke shuddered.

"O-Oh yeah..." I said about to sit down on the giant couch.

"Don't sit there!" Sasuke shouted at me causing me to jump up scared out of mind. "Ha! Just joking...! You fell for it. Only the windows and doors to the buildings are booby trapped."

I took one of my shoes and threw it at Sasuke's head when he took off his shoes. It hit him dead on, too! "Don't be an A-hole!" I told him taking off my other shoe. Sasuke just laughed at me... what a jerk...! I sat on the couch in front of the T.V. "I can't believe they have T.V.'s in this time!" I thought staring at the black screen.

"Hey, you hungry?" Sasuke asked.

"You cook...?"

"Yeah, but all I have is Ramen right now," Sasuke answered.

"Oh, turning into Naruto now, are we?" I asked grinning up at him. Sasuke was standing right behind the couch and staring down at me.

"Would you like me more if I were?" he asked.

"Huh...?" I asked confused at his question. "Sasuke, quit acting weird!"

I stood up from the couch and walked around it to Sasuke. "Those pills must be still messing with his mind," I thought staring into his eyes like I was trying to see where in his mind were the pills. Yeah, I'm strange like that.

"What?" Sasuke said; I shook my head and sighed.

"Let's get this over with," I said. "Take me to your kitchen!" Sasuke rolled his eyes and then grabbed my hand. He seemed to be doing that a lot lately... but I shouldn't put much thought into that. My head would hurt so much if I did.

Anyway, Sasuke pulled me down a hallway. I noticed that there was a door at the end of the hallway. Sasuke opened the door and boom! We were now standing in a kitchen. It was clean! Not what I'd expect from a boy Sasuke's age. "Not bad... not bad!" I said going over to the refrigerator.

I was about to open it but Sasuke's voice stopped me. "The Ramen is in the larder, moron," he called over to me. "What, you thought I was talking about leftovers?"

"Shut up!" I said to him. I walked back over to Sasuke. "You fix them then! I'm going to watch T.V.!"

"Don't let the couch get you," Sasuke said to me in a teasing voice as I walked past him.

"Don't make me hurt you," I also said in the same teasing voice as I walked back to the 'living room'.

"Hey! Mayu, wake up!" Sasuke's voice made me groan. I opened my eyes to see Sasuke standing over me, he was holding a tray with two bowls of Ramen. Man, it smelt good. "I was only in there for four minutes! Who falls asleep in four minutes?"

"A person who has to take care of your crazy pill-taking self," I muttered stretching, I covered a yawn with my hand. "That smells good, Sasuke." I reached to get a bowl, but he backed away making me whine a little. "Don't be mean!"

"You're going to have pay for it," Sasuke said. I didn't like his tone, it sounded as if he was teasing!

"I have no money," I said trying to reach for a bowl again, but Sasuke held it out of my reach. And I was too lazy to stand up from the couch. "Darn my laziness!" I thought glaring up at Sasuke.

"I don't want money," Sasuke said; I gestured for him to continue. "I want you to... give a... massage."

.... He's kidding, right? "... Y-You're k-kidding, right?" I asked him.

"No," he answered bluntly. "My back's killing me. You can do it after we eat."

"He's on the pill... he's on the pill..." I chanted in my mind. "Whatever..." I mumbled. Don't get me wrong, Sasuke would probably fall asleep by the time I finish eating. "The nurse did say he'd be asleep in a hour."

Sasuke put the tray down on the small table that I moved to the front of the T.V. while waiting for Sasuke to come out. He grabbed the two bowls and then handed one to me. Sasuke then sat down next to me. "So what were you watching?" Sasuke asked me after we said 'Itadakimasu'. I shrugged my shoulders and then stuck the ramen in my mouth.

"I guess I fell asleep before I was interested in the show," I answered after swallowing. "I did manage to moved the table in front of the T.V. though."

"Oh, that helps me so much," Sasuke said, I think he was being sarcastic.

"I do what I can," I said just as sarcastic. The two of us ate in silence, nothing but the T.V. was making noise.

"Hey, Mayu... how long are you planning on staying here?" Sasuke asked me suddenly. I swallowed the ramen that was in my mouth.

"That's really not up to me... remember last time?" I said. I saw him look towards me and then nod. "If I want to stay, then I have to be careful."

"Mayu... I want you to stay," Sasuke said to me. That almost made me smile. "So try to die, okay?" That almost made me frown. I ate some more ramen.

"Hey, is this miso?" I asked changing the subject.

"Yeah, " he answered.

"What's yours?" I asked curious.

It smelt like chicken... I love chicken flavored ramen! It's the best! "It's chicken flavored," Sasuke answered. I think I started drooling because Sasuke was looking at me weird.

"Sasuke..." I muttered.

"W-What is it?" he asked, I could tell he was slightly uncomfortable because I had gotten closer to him.

"Give me chicken ramen," I ordered in monotone.

He looked at me strangely before turning away with the ramen, I whimpered at the scene. "Sasuke...! Don't be so mean!" I said setting down my ramen and then reaching for his. Sasuke stood up and backed away from me.

"No, it's mine," he said. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I had stood up and began slowly walking towards Sasuke; he was backing up with each step I took towards him.

"I love chicken flavored ramen," I said in what I thought was a scary voice. "Come on, Sasuke, let's just trade."

"N-No, I want this!" Sasuke said, his shaky voice told me that he was slightly scared of my voice. "A-And you can't have it!" I stopped and smirked at him. He must have not known that when it comes to food, I'm a spoiled brat. And I always get my chicken flavored ramen!

"Wanna bet?" I asked before I jumped on my prey. Sasuke fell to the ground with a yell with me on top of him.

I looked up to see the bowl of CHICKEN FLAVORED RAMEN in the air. And it was about to come in for a landing! I quickly lifted my hands up to catch the bowl, but...

SPLASH

There I sat, on top of bird brain, with a bowl on my head; the contents of the bowl poured over my head and ran down my face and hair. The 'juice' dripped from my face and on to my clothes. "You..." Sasuke began glaring up at me. "... are a moron." I giggled nervously at his statement.

"Yeah, well... I sorta get weird when it comes to chicken flavored ramen," I said picking the noodles off my shoulders.

"Get off!" Sasuke ordered, his face was red with anger... I think it was anger. I rolled off of Sasuke and in the process the rest of the noodles as well as the bowl. "Great, now you're going to smell like ramen all day!"

"Shut up!" I said taking off my jacket. "It's not like I planned on you to take the chicken flavored kind!" Oh man, I think I need a shower, now! I decided then to voice my needs.

Sasuke looked strangely at me and frown. "You want a shower?" he asked. I nodded my head rapidly. "But you don't have any clothes!" Sasuke pointed out. I nodded my head in thought. That was a good point.

Suddenly, I got an idea! I'm pretty sure that a light bulb appeared over my chicken flavored ramen covered head. "I can change into some of your clothes!" I said grinning at my intelligent idea. I could have sworn I saw Sasuke's mouth drop open.

"Y-You want to change into my clothes?" he questioned. I nodded in reply.

"I'm sure you don't mind," I said as Sasuke stood.

"Whatever... come on, follow me," Sasuke said. I followed him with a smile on my face. At least there's a good side effect to these pills.

"Sasuke's a lot nicer to me!" I thought gleefully. We went up a flight of stairs and into the first room on the right. Sasuke stepped into the room first. When I entered the room, the first thing I saw was a bed.

"This my room," Sasuke's voice reached my ears. I looked towards him and notice that he was taking some clothes out of what I thought was a drawer. He threw the clothes at me, and they hit me straight in my head!

"Hey!" I shouted; Sasuke just shrugged. I looked at the clothes he threw at me and blinked in surprise. "Sasuke... these have little duckies on them." Seriously, they had yellow duckies all over the blue night clothes.

You know the kind you bathe with. "And they're night clothes! Do you actually sleep in this?" I asked curious.

"Uh... yeah..." Sasuke answer making me grin.

"That is so cute!" I squealed picturing a little/chibi Sasuke wearing the duckie pajamas.

"You don't have to joke about it!" Sasuke said to me. I stepped to him and smiled before grabbing his wittle cheek.

"I was being serious!" I said. Sasuke's face grew red in anger again, so I let go of his cheek "Thanks for the clothes."

I began walking towards the door. "Where's the the shower, anyway?" I asked before walking out.

"I-It's down the h-hall," Sasuke said with a stutter. I looked back at him in confusion.

"Is something wrong, Sasuke?" I asked. Even without the pills, he has been acting very strange recently. Sasuke coughed and muttered a nothing.

He walked passed me and before he went downstairs he said the weirdest thing. "Put your clothes outside the bathroom door before you get in the shower. I'll wash them for you," he said. I blinked again and agin trying to process what he had said. Uchiha Sasuke just said he'd wash my clothes! "Uh... do you have something in your eye?" I heard Sasuke ask. I shook my head and began walking towards the bath room; that's when I thought of something!

"SASUKE!" I shouted making him come back up the stairs.

"What?" he asked.

"I need some of your underwear, too."

"Mayu, you...."

Mayu came down the stairs still drying her head with a dark blue towel. "Sasuke, I'm finally finished. Are my clothes done yet?" she asked going into the 'living room', she saw Sasuke lying on the couch sleep. Mayu giggled dropping the towel on the table. "I wish I had a friggin' marker!" she thought grinning walking over to Sasuke. Mayu grabbed Sasuke by his shirt and sat him up; she sat down next to him. "Sasuke sure is heavy!" she thought picking up the remote. But it wasn't long before Mayu's own eyes started to droop. "Why am I so tired all of a sudden?" Mayu thought yawning.

Mayu looked through sleepy eyes at the screen in front of her. 'And now a word from our sponser!' the T.V. Mayu tried to see who the sponser was, but her eyes slowly closed. 'Join Akatsuki today! Remember, there's free cookies and ice cream for everyone who comes!' And with that, Mayu drifted off to dreamland.

A tall figure opened the door to Sasuke's hotel. He caught the kunai that he knew that was coming. He set it down on the floor quietly. "He probably fell asleep in front of the television again," the 'visitor' thought taking off his shoes. The visitor went straight to the T.V. to turn it off. He didn't look towards the couch until he turned off the power button to the television. The figure finally turned towards the couch.

His eye blinked in confusion, and then he smiled underneath his mask. "And he said he wouldn't allow anyone to get close," the masked man thought. The man left the room quietly not wanting to wake up the sleeping forms. Mayu twitched in her sleep when Kakashi walked past, but other than that she didn't wake. Kakashi smiled as he covered the two with a cover. Mayu stired and finally opened her eyes; she blinked and looked up.

"K-Kakashi-san...!" she said sitting up, she rubbed her eyes with one hand.. "What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same question, Mayu-chan," Kakashi said. Mayu took at the covers from her body. "... In such a position, too!" he continued. Mayu blinked in confusion at Kakashi's words.

"What the heck are you talking about?" she asked standing... or tried to stand. Mayu looked down at herself to see Sasuke's head in her lap; he was facing up and his eyes were close. "WHAAT THE HELL?" she yelled with wide eyes.

"Now, now Mayu-chan, we don't want to wake Sasuke," Kakashi said chuckling. "She obviously didn't know that Sasuke was there... but it won't hurt to mess with her a bit," he thought grinning under his mask. "I see you and Sasuke decided to have a little sleepover," Kakashi teased.

"I-I-It's n-n-not like that!" Mayu shouted blushing pink. "He must have fell on me!"

"Then why are you in his pajamas?" Kakashi questioned. Mayu's blush deepened to bright red. She didn't really want to tell Kakashi that she had jumped on Sasuke causing him to toss the bowl on to her head. Mayu really didn't want to tell him about the jumping part. That would just cause more teasing!

"I-I... spilled Sasuke's ramen and his pill-filled self started a food fight! I mean... he was acting crazy and just started throwing food!" Mayu lied. "So I took a shower and... he's the one who gave me these duckie night nights!"

"Night nights...?" Kakashi thought with a chuckle.

"Hey, I don't see anything funny about this!" Mayu said irritated; she lifted Sasuke's head from her lap and softly pushed him to the other side of the couch. She stood up and crossed her arms. "I was just waiting for my clothes to dry, that's all! What are you doing here anyway?"

"I usually come here to check on Sasuke," Kakashi answered. "I'm glad he has settled in this hotel. It takes a long time to find him sometimes."

"So... you know this place?" Mayu asked.

"I'm familiar with it," Kakashi said.

"Good, then you don't have a problem with going to get my clothes, no?" Mayu asked/ordered. Kakashi sighed and then whipped out his favorite book.

"I'll be back in a sec," he said. "Bossy girl..." Kakashi finished in thought.

"Hey, Kakashi-sensei, what are you doing?" Mayu asked; she had just come back from changing into her clothes. Kakashi had picked up Sasuke from the couch, and now had the boy on his back; Sasuke was still sleeping soundly.

"Oh, I'm putting him to bed," Kakashi answered and began walking towards the staircase; Mayu quickly followed behind him.

"Do you usually do this, huh Kakashi-san?" Mayu asked. "Take him to his room, I mean."

"Yes, yes, Sasuke usually falls asleep downstairs with the T.V. on, so..." Kakashi trailed off. Mayu didn't think anything of it, though. "Shouldn't you be getting home?" Kakashi asked entering Sasuke's room; the copy ninja set Sasuke down on his bed.

"Yeah... Hinata's probably worried about me; it is dark out," Mayu answered watching as Kakashi pulled the covers over Sasuke's body. "... But I wanted to ask you something."

"What is it?" Kakashi questioned looking up at the girl who was standing in the doorway.

"It's about... Sasuke's older brother," Mayu whispered causing Kakashi's eye to go wide in surprise. He quickly walked towards Mayu and pushed her out of the room and followed her; he closed the door behind him. "What's the problem?"

"You've actually come into contact with Uchiha Itachi?" Kakashi asked.

Mayu nodded slowly; she was slightly confused by Kakashi's reaction. "Yes... because I was following Sasuke, I met his brother."

"I see..." Kakashi muttered. "So what is it you wanted to ask me?"

"Well, um... I'm sure this is just a coincidence, but..." Mayu began. "... Did there used to be a clan in Konoha called Ishikari?"

Kakashi was quiet for some time before answering her. "Yes... there was an Ishikari clan here in Konoha," he said making Mayu's eyes go wide. "But not anymore... they were all eliminated by Itachi... on the same day he killed his own clan."

"What...?" Mayu said in disbelief. She couldn't believe it. Was all the things Itachi said true? But they couldn't be! Mayu isn't even from here! "So why...?" Mayu thought staring at the ground.

"I'm sure it's a big coincidence that your name is Ishikari as well," Kakashi said making Mayu look up at the jounin. His back was facing her and he thought: "I shouldn't tell her if she is a part of that clan. It will only cause anger and confusion."

"Yeah, I'm sure..." Mayu said a little too unconvincing. "Um... why did Itachi kill that clan in the first place?"

"No one knows really, it remains a mystery," Kakashi answered. "No one knows why he killed that clan as well as his on that day."

"Oh, I see, so no one has a clue, huh?" Mayu pondered making Kakashi sweatdrop.

"Is that really what she heard me say?" he thought turning to the girl.

"Can I ask something else?" Mayu asked, when Kakashi nodded his head, she continued. "The head of the Ishikari clan... what was their name?"

"Actually... there were two who were in charge," Kakashi answered. "They were, in fact, married to one another. Their names... Ishikari Hakuka and Ishikari Mayuka."

"That's what I thought..." Mayu thought closing her eyes and bowing her head. "Was what Itachi said true... no, it couldn't be!"

"Ishikari Sheena...?" Itachi said. "That is not your true mother's name. Your mother was indeed a great women, and her name was... Ishikari Mayuka."

Itachi's previous words echoed through Mayu's head. "What is my relationship with that woman?" she thought. "Better yet... what is my relation to Itachi? And what's with the Spanish?"

"Is that all, Mayu-chan?" Kakashi asked breaking Mayu's thoughts. Mayu looked up and blinked.

"Oh... oh, yes! That's all!" she replied putting on a smile. "I guess I'll be going, now!"

"But how are you goin--"

"BYE!" Mayu interrupted. POOF! She was gone again.

Kakashi: How did she do that? O.O
