Hinata slowly opened her eyes to see the ceiling staring back at her. It was another day in the Hyuga residence. Hinata sighed lightly as she sat up. Suddenly, a loud yawn was heard startling the Hyuga heir. Hinata looked down to see Mayu lying next to her; she was rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "M-Mayu-san...!" Hinata squeaked. "What are you doing sleeping out here? What if someone came in and saw you?"

Mayu sat up and then stretched similar to how a cat would. "Sorry, Hinata... but I prefer having my own dreams. Free of your Naruto-kun, that's the kinda dream I want," she said standing up and stretching some more; she didn't notice the blush that was forming on Hinata's face.

"T-That's not the point!" she said standing. "It could be dangerous if anyone else found out about you, especially father!" Mayu smiled at Hinata, and then she gave her a big hug.

"Oh, Hinata-chan, I'm so glad you're worry about my well-being!" Mayu said squeezing the surprised Hinata. "You are a great friend!"

"M-Mayu-san...!" Hinata yelled falling down taking Mayu with her.

Hinata stood up causing two pairs of eyes to look at her. "I... I have to go n-now," she said turning.

"Where are you going, big sister?" Hinata's little sister, Hanabi asked curious. "You're not going to eat?"

"No... no, I'll eat while I'm out," Hinata answered smiling at her younger sister. Although, Hinata's father paid more attention to Hanabi than her, Hinata couldn't help but to think her younger sister was cute.

Mayu: No one is as cute as Hinata-chan!

That comment caused Hinata to blush. "Do you have a fever?" Hanabi asked.

"N-No! I'm fine!" Hinata said batting the air like a kitten. "I'm just going t-to t-train." Hinata was about leave the room but her father's voice stopped her.

"With whom are you training with?" Hiashi asked. "You're teammates?"

"No, a couple o-of m-my friends," Hinata answered turning to face her father. She wasn't exactly lying to her father.

Hinata was planning to meet Naruto at his favorite ramen place, and then start training after they eat. After all, they had planned to do this some time ago. Before Naruto had left the village. "With your friends, hm? Do they know your strengths? You are going to be hurt if they don't know," Hiashi answered. Hinata's fist were clenched at her sides.

"Why does father always do this?" Hinata thought bowing her head.

Mayu: That ain't even cool! Hinata, you better say something, right now!

"What can I say, Mayu-san?" Hinata thought. "He's my... father."

Mayu: Fine, I'll handle this this time! Next time, you will step up to the plate!

"Wait...!" Hinata thought, but it was too late, Mayu had already made the switch.

"Hinata, answer...!" Hiashi made the girl look at him. Hiashi was taken aback at what he saw. His 'daughter' was grinning at him! "Hinata has never..." his train of thought trailed off course.

"Actually, father, my friends... Naruto-kun and Sasuke-san, know exactly how strong I am," Mayu said putting an emphasis on strong. "And that's why they want to train me, father. Maybe if you'd pay attention, you'd see how much I've grown and how strong I've before since the chunin exams. Even before then I was strong!"

"Hinata, you are out of order!" Hiashi said not liking the tone in his 'daughter's' voice.

"N-No... I'm right," Hinata said; she had switched with Mayu as her father was talking. "I have grown a lot stronger in the past few weeks. And I... wanted you to acknowledge me, but you wouldn't. So I choose to train with my friends. Goodbye, father, I don't know what time I'll be back. My friends and I train longer than normal." And with that being said, Hinata turned and left the room.

Mayu:WHAAAAAAAAAT?? Hinata, I am so proud of you! I LOVE YOU!

Hinata blushed at Mayu's compliments. "Thank you, Mayu-san!" Hinata thought cheerfully. "I... love you, too."

Mayu: Now, if only you can say that to your Naruto-kun!

"M-Mayu-san...! Please stop teasing!"

"N-Naruto-kun. ..!" Hinata sorta yelled as she ran towards the ramen stand. With Naruto's above average hearing, he had heard her perfectly. He turned around to see Hinata standing at the entrance of the ramen stand; her hands were on her knees and she panted softly. "S-Sorry, I'm late! You didn't wait long, did you?" Hinata asked after straightening up. Naruto swallowed the ramen that was in his mouth, he sighed after the ramen reached his stomach.

"No, I didn't wait very long!" Naruto answered. "Sasuke here kept me company!"

"You mean you just began talking about ramen and then switched to talking about Hinata as soon as I sat down," Sasuke corrected; Naruto's face turned into an angry, embarrassed face. "I just wanted to eat breakfast," he continued ignoring Naruto's flabbergasted face; Sasuke finished off his ramen. "Hey, Hinata..."

"Oh, hi, Sasuke-san," Hinata said blushing at Sasuke's previous words. "Naruto-kun... Naruto-kun was talking about me?" she thought, her blush growing my the second. Sasuke looked around Hinata; his eyebrow twitched.

"Hey, is Mayu with you?" he asked.

Hinata turned her attention to Sasuke. "N-No, Sasuke-san, Mayu-san is not with me," she answered shyly. "Why do you ask?"

"Isn't it obvious, Hinata-chan?" Naruto asked with a snicker. "He wants to talk to his girlfriend! I bet he wants to kiss her, too!" he continued not noticing the murderous glare that Sasuke was giving him; Hinata let a giggle escape her lips. "Hmph! That will teach him to embarrass me in front of Hinata-chan!" Naruto thought just before he was hit in the face with a ramen bowl.

"N-Naruto-kun...!" Hinata gasped as the ramen bowl fell to the ground with a clang.

"... SASUKE!" Naruto shouted.

"So where is she?" Sasuke inquired turning to Hinata; he had completely ignored Naruto's outburst. Hinata laughed nervously at the predicament she suddenly found herself in.

"Um... Mayu-san saw you and Naruto-kun here and stopped at one of the nearby stands," she answered.

"I see..." Sasuke said. "Could she be avoiding me because of yesterday?" he thought. Yup, Sasuke remembered perfectly what had happened yesterday night.

He blushed at the mere memory of it. "That's the last time I take pills from the hospital!" Sasuke thought drumming his fingers on the table. "She probably thinks I'm the weird one, now."

"YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO HIT ME, SASUKE!" Naruto shouted, but Sasuke just ignored him and stared at the wall. "Why you...!" Hinata interrupted him by putting a hand on his shoulder. Naruto calmed down as he stared at Hinata's smiling face.

"It's o-okay, Naruto-kun..." she said softly.

"Hinata-chan..." Naruto muttered. "You're so kind to me!"

"Of course, Naruto-kun!" Hinata said softly taking her hand from Naruto's shoulder.

"She didn't stutter!" Naruto noticed. "Please have a seat, Hinata-chan!" he said out loud patting the seat next to him. "Away from Sasuke-teme!" Sasuke just grunted at Naruto's last comment.

Hinata chuckled softly as she sat down. The three sat in silence... well, except for Sasuke's fingers drumming on the table. It was beginning to tick Naruto off! He glared at his friend/rival in annoyance. "Does he have to keep doing that?" Naruto thought angrily. "He's probably annoying Hinata-chan, too!" Little did he know, Hinata had already ordered her ramen and was patiently waiting for her order to come back.

Meanwhile, Sasuke started humming. "What was that song...?" he thought still humming. "In that dream..." To Naruto, this was even more annoying! Why the heck was Sasuke humming?

"He's probably doing it just to annoy me!" thought a fuming Naruto. Suddenly, Sasuke had stopped making noise all together. "Now what's he thinking?"

"I... I think..." Sasuke spoke. "I'm going to go look for her," he rose from his seat as he said this.

"It's about time..." Hinata and Naruto thought in unison, which was very rare; they each had their own reasons for thinking this. Sasuke began to walk away, but Naruto's voice stopped him. "Hey, remember that the ceremony for the Fifth will begin at noon!" he said. Sasuke continued to walk towards the entrance.

"We won't be long," Sasuke said. "We'll meet at the designated training area."

"Pfft! Yeah, sure you will!" Naruto muttered sarcastically.

Sasuke delivered a final glare to Naruto before disappearing into the crowd. "Here's your order, Hinata-san!" the owner said breaking the silence; he sat down the bowl of miso ramen in front of Hinata.

"Thank you, sir!" Hinata said picking up chopsticks. "Itadakimasu..." after that, she began to eat.

"Hey, old man! Another bowl!" Naruto shouted. The owner grumbled something under his breath; sounded like 'expensive tab'. "And make it snappy!"

"Naruto-kun--" Hinata began but a really loud voice stopped her from speaking any further.

"NARUTO, WHERE ARE YOU?!" the voice sound female.

"Hey, that's Sakura-chan!" Naruto exclaimed turning around causing Hinata to frown and bow her head.

"Why her...?" she thought trying hard not to grind her nails in her own skin. "Of all people, why did it have to be her?"

"Sakura-chan, I'm in here!" Naruto called. Seconds later, Haruno Sakura appeared; she moved the paper... things out of her way and walked in.

"Naruto, do you know where Sasuke-kun is?" she asked causing Naruto to roll his eyes.

"Who cares...!" he answered turning back around. Suddenly, Sakura's arm wrapped round poor Naruto's neck; like other countless times, Sakura had Naruto in a choke hold.

"I care, you little brat!" she yelled in an evil voice. "Now tell me where my Sasuke-kun is or I'll snap your neck!" Hinata's eyes went wide at the scene in front of her; this was the first time she had ever seen Naruto's face turn blue from Sakura's torture. "Speak, Naruto!"

"Sakura...! Please let go of Naruto-kun!" Hinata ordered dropping the 'san' from Sakura's name, as far as Hinata was concerned, Sakura didn't deserve it; Hinata's anger steadily growing larger since Naruto's face had turned purple. How dare Sakura try to 'kill' Naruto! The angry look from Sakura's face vanished as she turned her head to Hinata; she still held on to the struggling Naruto.

"Hinata...? What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Let go of Naruto-kun!" Hinata said in a more frantic voice because Naruto's face turned white. Sakura promptly dropped Naruto to the floor, she ignored the fact that Naruto was struggling to get in as much oxygen as possible back into his lungs.

"So what are you doing here, Hinata?" Sakura asked, but Hinata ignored her and instead of answering, she dropped down to Naruto to see if he was all right.

"Are you okay?" she asked him.

"I will be... in a minute..." Naruto coughed out.

"Sakura, don't be so mean to Naruto-kun!" Hinata said helping Naruto stand.

"Oh, he's used to it by now," Sakura said waving her hand dismissively. "Anyway, tell me where Sasuke-kun is!" she demanded once Naruto had calmed down.

"How should I know?!" Naruto shouted. "Go find him yourself! He's probably with his girlfriend, anyway!"

Sakura bowed her head and it was eerily quiet. Her head suddenly snapped up causing Naruto's eyes to widen in fear. Sakura's eyes had started glowing! "HOW DARE YOU?! SASUKE-KUN DOESN'T HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!" she screamed punching Naruto in the face. The boy fell out of his chair... again. "You liar! Sasuke-kun told me that himself!"

"Well, he lied!" Naruto said standing up, he held his cheek in pain. "Because they hang out together all the time, and her name is--" Naruto was just about to blurt out Mayu's name, but Hinata quickly covered his mouth with her hand.

"Well, I guess we'll be going n-now!" she said, and then proceeded to exit dragging the confused Naruto with her.

"Girlfriend...?" Sakura mumbled. "Sasuke-kun would lie to me about that, would he?"

"Hey, you! Are you going to pay for your friends food?" the owner demanded. Sakura looked at the owner in confusion.

"What...?"

"You're paying for the bill," he responded handing her both Hinata and Naruto's bills. When Sakura saw Naruto's bill, her eyes went red in anger.

"NARUTO, YOU FREAK!" she yelled.

"There you are, bird brain...!" a voice made Sasuke stop walking. He didn't need to look around to figure out who had just spoke to him. There was only one girl that would call him that.

"Mayu..." Sasuke said. The said girl jumped from a nearby roof; she stood next to Sasuke.

"I've been expecting you," Mayu grinned.

"So she wasn't trying to avoid me," Sasuke thought staring at the girl. "What for...?" he asked out loud with mild curiosity present in his voice.

"Follow me, and you'll see!" Mayu answered and then dashed down a nearby alley. Sasuke sighed at the girl's actions, but followed her none the less.

Hinata sat under a tree panting lightly. Naruto stood next to her with a confused look on his face. He wanted to wait until Hinata's breathing became regular before asking her a question. The two genins were at the edge of a forest, a flowing river was next to them; they had certainly traveled far from town. Hinata put a hand over her heart in hopes to calm it down a little. "That was close," she thought sighing. "Someone else almost found out about Mayu."

"Hey, Hinata-chan... why did we run?" Naruto finally asked. "I wasn't finished with my ramen!"

"S-Sorry, Naruto-kun," Hinata replied standing, yet still leaning against the tree. "You were about to t-tell Sakura that Mayu-san was Sasuke-san's girlfriend, were you not?" Naruto nodded to answer her question.

"Yeah, I mean... those two are always together, aren't they?" Naruto said nodding his head. "They must be boyfriend and girlfriend!"

"N-No, Naruto-kun... they are not together," Hinata corrected. "They are just very good friends. I mean, just because two people are together frequently doesn't mean they are together like that. That would make us boyfriend and girlfriend, Naruto-kun... since we're together right now..." she poked her index fingers together as she said this, a pink blushed graced her face. Naruto's eyes widen in realization as Hinata's words finally dawned on him, small blush appeared on his face.

"D-Does that mean... Hinata's my GIRLFRIEND?!" he thought staring wide-eyed at the girl in front of him. "Do y-you really mean that, Hinata-chan? I never had a girlfriend before!"

"N-Naruto-kun, are you okay?" Hinata asked. "A fly just f-flew in your open m-mouth!"

Naruto started coughing and making retching noises until the fly came out. "Dumb fly...!" he muttered watching as the fly flew away with it's annoying little buzz. Naruto turned his attention back to Hinata. "So..." he began.

"So..." Hinata couldn't help but mumble.

"... You're my girlfriend," Naruto finished causing Hinata's eyes to widen in surprise. "What do couples do, exactly?"

"WHA-WHAT?!"

"Come on, Sasuke! I think I just heard Hinata!" Mayu called to Sasuke, who was behind her. "We're close!"

"Why are we doing this again?" Sasuke asked annoyed.

"So Naruto and Hinata can get together! B'duh!" Mayu answered making Sasuke grumble. "And besides, this way Naruto can stop messing with Sakura leaving her free for you." Sasuke lost his balance after Mayu had said that and was now falling towards the ground. "Sasuke...!" Mayu stopped hopping from branch to branch and jumped down to her fallen friend.

When Mayu reached Sasuke, she leaned bent over and frown. "You are so lucky we were not that high!" she said. Sasuke stared with wide eyes from his place on the ground; he didn't bother to get up.

"What did you say about Sakura?" he asked.

"I said she would be free for you to date her!" Mayu answered. "I didn't know that you would get choked up over that." Mayu stood straight up and turned around. "... you must really like her."

"I-I do not!" Sasuke said still not moving from the ground. "Sakura is nothing but my teammate! I was just surprised that you would even think that I--" he stopped because Mayu was now standing over him.

"Do you... really mean that?" she asked. "You're not considering making her your girlfriend?"

"No... of course not!" Sasuke answered. Mayu smiled causing him to close his eyes. "Why does she always do that?" he thought.

"Well, come on, bird brain!" Mayu voice reached his ears. "We've got lot of work to do before noon! Hurry and get up, so you can transform!" Sasuke opened his eyes to see that Mayu was not standing over him anymore. "Hinata and Naruto aren't far from here, so we should walk."

"And just like that... it's over," Sasuke thought getting up from the ground. Mayu did a couple of hand signs at a fast pace.

"Transform...!" she said, and then she was shrouded in a cloud of smoke.

When the smoke cleared, in Mayu's place stood a taller form. The person had a mask on, so you couldn't see nothing but the pupil less white eyes. The person was wearing nothing but black. "How's this...?" the person turned to Sasuke. "Am I thuggish enough?"

"You do realize that that's probably not a word, right?" he asked. Mayu in disguise just giggled. "Thugs don't giggle!"

"Oops! Sorry about that!" Mayu said. "Um... Sasuke?"

"Yeah."

"Aren't you supposed to be in pain?"

"...Well, now that you mention it..." Sasuke said, the word pain was finally registered in his brain. "M-My b-back!" Mayu was about to say something, but decided against it. Instead, she had a sweat drop going down the back of her head.

"Sasuke looks like an old person," she thought.

"Hinata-chan...! Hinata-chan, wake up!" Naruto said in panic. "Was it something I said?" he thought. Naruto had been trying to wake up Hinata up for the past few minutes since she fainted. "I know...! I can you use water!" he said as he gently set Hinata's head down on the grass. He went over to the river and plunged his hands into the water; Naruto kept them their for a few seconds before running over to Hinata. "I hope this works," he mumbled running his cold wet hand over Hinata's hand, and then one hand over her forehead.

Hinata groaned lightly before opening her eyes. She blinked several times before her eyes focused on Naruto. "Naruto-kun..." she whispered causing Naruto to sigh in relief.

"Hinata-chan, I'm really glad you're okay!" he said helping Hinata sit up. "You really scared me when you just fell out like that!"

"Sorry, Naruto-kun..." Hinata mumbled, a small blush on her face because Naruto was so close to her. That's when the memories of before came rushing back to Hinata causing her blush to get deeper. "N-Naruto-kun said I was his girlfriend!" she thought in glee.

"Hinata-chan, is the sun getting to you? Is that why you fainted like that?" Naruto asked, his voice was laced with concern.

"I-I'm fine... Naruto-kun!" Hinata answered nervously. "I-It's just what you s-said... about me being y-your g-g-g-gir--" she couldn't even finish the sentence.

"My g-girlfriend...?" Naruto finished with a small blush causing Hinata's whole face to turn bright red.

"Y-Yes..." Hinata replied nodding her head. "And I think you might have misundersto--"

"HEY! YOU TWO!" a voice interrupted.

Naruto and Hinata both looked towards the trees to see two dark figures standing in a tree. "Who the hell are you?!" Naruto shouted pointed at the two, he was angry that they had interrupted whatever Hinata was going to say. "They look like adults..." he thought. One of the figures jumped down from the tree and into the light.

"I'll be the one asking the questions, brat!" thug 1 yelled pointing. "You are in the lands of the Shisaki Brothers!" Thug 2 jumped down beside thug 1.

"That wasn't exactly a question, moron," thug 2 said.

"Shut up!" thug 1 hissed.

"And you're a girl..." thug 2 continued.

"Just stick to the script!" thug 1 bellowed. "Anyway, you are hereby trespassing and so, we must destroy you!" thug 1 said pointing at the two, now bored looking genin. "Hey, listen to me!" Suddenly, thug 2 threw multiple shuriken at Naruto and Hinata.

Naruto quickly picked up Hinata bridal style and jumped to a safer location. "These guys are serious...!" he thought glaring at the two thugs. "How dare they try hurt Hinata-chan!"

"Something is familiar about thug 1," Hinata thought reluctantly getting out of Naruto's hold. "No matter, I have to defend myself!" she said out loud.

"Hinata-chan, this might get dangerous, so--" Naruto began but Hinata stopped him from talking by putting a hand on his shoulder.

"No, Naruto-kun, I want to... fight with you," she said.

Naruto grinned at Hinata's warm smile. "Thank you..." he whispered causing Hinata to look on in confusion. "Let's do this!" Hinata nodded in agreement; she activated her Byakugan.

"Are you just going to stand there and flirt?" thug 1 yelled. "If you haven't noticed... we're trying to kill you! Get ready!" The two thugs began running at the two genin. "Remember the plan thug 2!"

"Whatever... and don't call me that!" thug 2 responded. Naruto went in front of Hinata and held up a kunai, but the two thugs just flipped over Naruto and began to attack Hinata! Luckily, Hinata went on the defensive and held off their attacks. "So you're stronger than you look, huh?" thug 2 said jumping back along with thug 1. Thug 2 began performing multiple hand signs. "FIRE ELEMENT: BLAZING FIRBALL JUTSU!"

Fire shout out and it headed straight for Hinata! Naruto saw this and ran to Hinata knocking her to the ground. The fire flew over their heads until it disappeared. Naruto slowly stood and then turned a evil looking glare at the two thugs. "How dare you?!" he yelled. Thug 1 took a step back.

"Um... perhaps you went a little too far, thug 2..." thug 1 said nervously.

Hinata stood up panting slightly. "That was a close one," she thought. "If it hadn't for Naruto-kun..."

"How dare you try to hurt my very first girlfriend?!" Naruto shouted causing Hinata to turn beet red.

"G-G-Girlfriend...?!" thug 1 exclaimed in surprise. "You mean you two are already..."

"I told you, moron!" thug 2 said. "Now we did this for nothing!"

Naruto didn't hear a word, all he knew was that someone had attacked Hinata-chan... and they must be dealt with. "Enough talk...!" he shouted doing familiar hand signs. "SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" Suddenly, about ten more Narutos appeared!

"Oooh! We're in trouble!" thug 1 whined.

"Don't worry, think of it as training," thug 2 said and then charge at the Naruto clones.

"Idiot...!" thug 1 sighed and then followed thug 2.

"Everyone, attack...!" Naruto shouted, but thug 2 went straight for the real Naruto; thug 1 went straight for Hinata!

"I know my target," thug 1 thought charging at Hinata. "Even if they're already together, I can't back down!" Thug 1 kicked down a couple of the clones, she was ready to attack Hinata, but what she thought was a clone stood in her way. That was actually the real Naruto coming to punch her! The hit made thug 1 fly back a few feet. Thug 2 watched this happened and jumped to thug 1's aid before she hit a tree.

"Are you okay?" he asked holding thug 1 bridal.

"My face feels like it's on fire...!" thug 1 stated holding her face. "You definitely made Naruto angry. I think it's time to retreat."

"Yeah, I think Hinata hit me with her Gentle Fist," thug 2 said nodding. He jumped up into a tree.

"You might have one this time, but next time you won't be so lucky!" thug 1 shouted before the two disappeared in a cloud of smoke. The rest of the Naruto clones disappeared leaving only one.

"Are you okay, Hinata-chan?" Naruto asked the girl. Hinata fell to her knees causing Naruto to get on the ground with her. "Hinata-chan...?"

"That was strange..." she whispered. "It felt as if I knew one of them."

"Well, they're gone now!" Naruto stated proudly. "There's no way, I'd let anyone hurt my girlfriend!"

Hinata blushed deeply at his last comment. "N-Naruto-kun... I think we need to t-t-talk about t-that!" she said.

"About what...?"

"... Although I'm very flattered, but I think you might have m-misunderstood me," Hinata said. "... When I was talking about Mayu-san and Sasuke-san..."

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked.

"A-Allow me to ex-explain," Hinata began.

"I'm going to kill Naruto!" Mayu yelled out as he held her face, a bruise was staring to appear on her cheek; she was laying with her back to the ground. "He's so lucky that he didn't hit my eye!"

"Stop your complaining," Sasuke grumbled. "I told you we didn't have to do anything, but you just kept insisting."

"Oh, shut up!" Mayu said sitting up. "And, anyway... you said that Hinata hit you?"

"Yeah... my leg kinda stings," Sasuke answered holding his leg.

Mayu crawled over to Sasuke, who was sitting under a tree. "Let me see," she said. Sasuke held out his leg so the curious girl could see his leg. Mayu did a couple of hand signs and said: "Byakugan...!" Her eyes transformed and they glanced at Sasuke leg. "Oooh, not good."

"What is it...?" Sasuke asked just a little nervous.

"She made the muscles in your leg tighten," Mayu answered. "Don't worry, they should loosen up later on. But I wouldn't recommend running anytime soon."

"Whatever..." Sasuke responded; Mayu smiled at his reaction, and then she bent over and kissed his leg. "Wha-what was that for?"

"My mom used to do it all the time!" Mayu said smiling. "Whenever I had a injury, she'd said it'll make it heal faster!"

"You actually believe that?" Sasuke asked looking away from her, not wanting her to see the small blush that was forming on his cheeks.

"Well... yeah, what's the point in living life to the fullest if you don't believe in the little things?" Mayu said. "That's what I say, anyway!" Sasuke suddenly grabbed Mayu's wrist and pulled her close to him, and then he kissed her cheek! "S-Sasuke...!" Mayu stuttered once Sasuke had let go of her.

"So... it'll heal faster," he said closing his eyes, so he didn't see how red Mayu's face got. She stood up, turned around, and held her face.

"Oh my gawd! My first kiss from a boy!" Mayu thought. "And it was friggin' Sasuke! BIRD BOY!"

Mayu fell to her knees and glared at the ground. "That isn't true... my first kiss from a boy was with... Uchiha Itachi!" she thought, that's when realization dawned on her. "I WAS KISSED BY A FRIGGIN' WEASEL MAN!"

"Mayu, stop looking like that," Sasuke voice caused her to snap back to reality. He was standing in front of her. "Come on, let's go back into town."

"Hey, you're not suppose to be on your leg!" Mayu scolded completely forgetting about what happened before.

Sasuke looked down at his own leg unconsciously, and then he shrugged. "I'm not running. I'll be fine," he said. Mayu sighed, and then glared at her friend.

"You are so stubborn!"

"And you're not?"

"......Shutty..."

"Hey, you two!" a familiar voice caused the two to look up. They saw Kakashi standing in the tree closest to Mayu.

"Kakashi-san...? What are you doing here?" Mayu asked.

"The ceremony for the Fifth is about to begin," he answered.

"I thought it didn't start till noon," Sasuke said as Kakashi jumped down from the tree.

"That... was the original plan," he said. "It's starting now, so we better get moving."

"Ah! Kakashi-san...!" Mayu stopped Kakashi from jumping away.

"Yes...?" he asked.

"Sasuke hurt his leg, so he can't run," Mayu answered. "Can you carry him?"

"I don't want to be carried!"

"Sure...!" Kakashi said going towards Sasuke.

"Thanks!" Mayu said as Sasuke was picked up by Kakashi and slung over his shoulder.

"I didn't ask for this!" Sasuke yelled as Kakashi jumped up followed by Mayu.

"Now, now Sasuke, you should just enjoy the ride!" Mayu grinned at Sasuke, who glared in return.

"Easy for you to say! You're not being carried like a sack of potatoes!" he grumbled causing Mayu to giggle.

"Kakashi-san, why are they starting early, anyway?" she asked catching up to the older man.

"It's because... they're planning to hold a celebration afterwards," Kakashi answered.

"Oh, like a festival...?" Mayu asked in excitement; Kakashi nodded his head. "Are you required to wear a kimono?"

"No... but I hear most females are going in a kimono," Kakashi answered.

"Will Mayu wear a kimono...?" Sasuke thought closing his eyes. "I've never seen her in one before," he accidentally said that out loud.

"You say something, Sasuke?" Kakashi asked him causing Sasuke to have a cough attack.

"Oh my gawd! You think a fly got in his mouth?" Mayu asked.

"I-I-I didn't say anything!" Sasuke said after calming down a bit. Kakashi smiled under his mask.

"What's this...?" he thought. "Sasuke... has undercover feelings for Mayu-chan? And more teasing insures!"
