Last time: Marie was late for an important, almost daily, meeting with her father to find her soon -to -be husband. Her parents never did approve of Maries' taste in boys or hobbies. At the hokage tower Marie spots shino aburame and his father. She approves of him but her father does not and she wonders why…

My Father followed my gaze and growled. “No. not him. That's shino Aburame and his father Shibi aburame. He's not suitable for you and will never be.”

“Huh? But…why not? He looks fine from where I'm standing.”

Father “Then, we'll move down wind.”

I put my hands on my hips. “You know, this guy is probably the only guy I'll accept as my husband. You're going to blow it father.”

(Present time and normal view)

 

Mr. Takemina looked sternly at marie. “ Your mother and I are only doing what's best for you…”

Marie crossed her arms knowing a lecture was coming. `It's not fair that they use the whole they know what's best for you speech. They don't even know that what they did in the past was the worst thing they did for me and they're still trying to find what's best for me.'

Mr. Takemina “…so our entire clan is counting on you to uphold our great honor and choose a suitable husband…not someone who doesn't meet the standards.”

He pushed her in another direction that was away from shino and his father. Marie took one last look before completely turning around to interview another ninja boy.

 

Shino slightly turned his head to the retreating marie. Shibi followed his gaze already knowing what his son was thinking. Shibi puts one hand on his shoulder for support.

Shino questioned. “Father? Why am I here? The same thing happens every time mom forces us to come here. We're not going to find a girl for me.”

Shibi shook his head. “There's a girl out there for you and she's actually here right now. You'll just have to be patient and wait for the right day for her.”

*~Silence~*

Shino “You don't make anymore sense than I do. If she's here than where is she?”

Shibi shook his head at his naïve son. “Think of her as a butterfly that our clan cannot control…she has her own free will but she's still under someone else's control and--“

Shino interrupted him. “I get it father. Can we go home now?” Not waiting for his father shino began to leave the area, with his father following after him.

 

“NO! WAIT PLEASE!!” A male voice yelled in fear.

“NOT A CHANCE YOU PERVERTED SLIME BALL!!! “ marie swung a red pole at a poor young ninja who was shaking in fear at the enraged marie.

She unmercifully bashed the young ninja into a wall and she continued shouting many colorful words at him while waving her red pole.

Both Aburames looked back at the action. Shino “I don't care about the details. I don't want that crazy girl as my wife. Any ninja would fear for his life.”

Shibi nodded in agreement. “That they would, but it shows that she can hold her own.”

They continued their leave and disappeared.

Mr. Takemina shouted at his daughter. “Marie Takemina! How dare you bring that chakra pole here with you!! Your Mother and I told you not to bring it with you!!”

Marie shouted back “Didn't you see that boy grab my butt and asked me to bear his children?! He didn't even ask for my name! he just blurted out the question!!”

“That shows he's a good man who thinks of his wife and kids!!”

“NO! It shows he has one thing on his mind and I'm not giving it to him!” She picked up the lower part of her kimono and when down the nearby stair way. “I'm going to clear my head and I won't be home until dinner!”

Mr. Takemina yelled in frustration. “I forbid you from having any daughters!”

Everyone that was left on the rooftop of the hokage tower stared at the young family and went on their way.

 

 

(In the village where naruto is always wondering around)

 

Marie was still fuming over about her father. `I just want to follow my own ninja way…not the clans or my mother or my father's way…if I get married I'll have to give up my dream of becoming a great kunoichi like Lady Tsunade. I'm not ready to give all that up.'

Marie turned the corner to a local small restaurant and ordered sweet dumplings and a cup of iced tea with lemon.

(I never ate them but I heard about them. I think it's those colorful round things on a stick that people are always eating)

She sat there in silence until she heard a soft voice call her name. marie looked up and saw hinata sitting across from her. “Hello, hinata. Where's that big head neji?”

Hinata took a bite out of one of the dumplings I ordered. She's gotten more relaxed around me but she's still shy.

“Neji's out training with Tenten and Lee is watching.”

She pondered on the new names. “Tenten and lee… never really heard of them.”

Hinata smiled sadly at me. She's the only girl I know who knows everything there is to know about me. She understands what I'm going through. Not really knowing what's out there beyond the walls of your own home. Walking in unfamiliar territory and trying to take every new thing in until it's taken away from you.

“Tenten and lee are Neji's teammates, Just like Kiba and Shino are to me. You remember them right? Kiba, akamaru, and shino.”

She nodded. “Yeah. Kiba's the dog boy and Shino's that bug boy. In fact I was shino a few hours ago when I was looking for a future husband. You should've been there when I knocked a pervert clear into a solid wall with my charka pole.”

Hinata asked timidly, “Why did you hit that boy?”

She said flatly. “He asked me to bear his children, grabbed my butt, and went into a wall. He didn't even ask my name. Father took the situation hard though. I left after that.”

Both of them shared a laugh and shared current events until they decided to go home. Hinata walked her home part way leaving marie to walk home alone. Occasionally marie had to swat a bug or two out of her face and stopped a few times to use her chakra pole as a swatter to kill them. Strangely she couldn't kill them they keep dodging her swings and in a mocking manner.

Marie was always short tempered. “Stupid bugs!! Keep playing with me and I'll get the OFF Spray!” The small bugs buzzed in different tunes before flying off into the sky.

Marie puts her charka pole in the holster on her back before going home.

“You really do have a short temper. Every little thing bothers you.”

Marie turned around on reflex. No one was there. Being really scared and alone she took the fast way home and used a teleportation jutsu to appear in her room inside the Takemina mansion. She quickly stripped into her pj's and went to bed with Lil' brother at the bottom of the bed.

“Who said those words earlier? Was someone watching me the whole time?'

Deciding not to think about it too much she went to sleep. Not knowing that someone was watching her outside her window.

Next time on My own ninja way…

Marie narrating: Talk about all fun and no play makes a ninja a robot ninja! Who knew I had a stalker all this time!? And Naruto finally convince lady hokage to give me a mission to the land of waves with Hinata. But I don't remember inviting neji along and I don't care how skilled he is! As princess I want to be leader! Hey! What's shino doing here? Hinata…what's going on?
