“Hmm.” Lili muttered as Laraine and I attempted waking her. We were in her and Laraine's hotel room; she didn't like to be anywhere near Sakura so she happily kept her distance, due to a feud most likely over Sasuke.
“Dang it Lili wake up!” I shouted rolling her off of the bed.
She woke up abruptly as she hit the floor. “Damn it! What?!”
I rolled my eyes. “Laraine says it's after school back home so we're going to talk to some people.”
“How?”
I simply held up my laptop. She smiled and we turned it on.

“Where's Tori?” Naruto asked, as he approached the group, everyone there except Tori and Kakashi (discluding Laraine and Lili considering they weren't in the cell).
“We've been asking the very same question all morning.” Paige said.
The group continued to happily chat until Kakashi arrived. “Who're we missing?” He asked.
But no one had to answer.

The three of us sprinted until we could see the training spot. “Dang it.” I half-shouted as we ran faster. Finally the three of us arrived. My feet slid into a spot in between my teammates.
“Where were you?” Samantha asked.
I tried to catch my breath. It'd been a while since I'd had a problem with my asthma, why suddenly? Samantha took on a worried expression, she'd seen me like this before if we had to run the mile at school and I didn't have my inhaler. Dang it! Dang it! Dang it! I hate this feeling!
Samantha quickly scavenged my bag until she found my inhaler and tossed it to me. It landed next to me and I thankfully used it.
“Thank god…” I muttered. There's seriously no way I could ever survive without albuterol.
“Oh my gosh! You're like Yuki!” Lili laughed.
“Nah!” I said sarcastically then I smiled. “Actually,” I straightened myself and snapped my fingers resulting in a thumbs up. “I'M AAYA'S OTHER HALF!”
She smiled making the same Hand motion as me and shouted, “I'M AAYA'S FEMALE VERSION!”
Then we yelled “Yeah!” in unison.
“What are you two up to now?” Sasuke asked.
Aaya's female version and myself turned to the usually emo boy. “Just a bit of an inside joke, both of us act like Ayame, so we decided I'm his other half and Lili…Geany is his female version.”
“Ooh! Sasuke please please PLEASE read Fruits Baskets!!” Aaya's (Ayame) female version asked the genin.
“Uh alright I guess.” The black-haired genin answered.
“Is it me or does he act different around your friend?” Stacy whispered.
“No he definitely acts different, it's kinda scary.”
“Aaya's other half!” Lili shouted happily. I turned to my other half's female version, “Can Sasuke borrow your copies of the books?”
I raised my eyebrow then after about a minute smiled. “'Kay.” I searched my bag for my `box of Fruits Basket' then when I got out volume one, I held it out to him, but when Sasuke went to grab it I pulled it away and held it to my chest. “You think you're getting it that easily? No way! Not even if you are my other half's female version's favored member of this group, I have rules and warnings when it come to my books!” Lili groaned.
“Well get on with the rules.” My four-eyed friend begged, and yes that's Lili.
“Alright, no bending the spine, no bending the pages, no bending either cover, no eating near my book, no fighting near it, there better be no stains on it when I get it back. Don't defile my book, don't throw it, don't show it to anyone, let alone let them touch it, and if you break a rule or hurt my copy of volume one in any way or are beyond dead! Got it?” I said swiftly.
“Don't you think that's a bit much?” Samantha asked.
“Samantha, do you recall seventh grade when I got my copy of `The Penultimate Peril'?” I asked her.
“Yeah.”
“Do you remember my rule that no one but me was aloud to touch it until I finished reading it?”
She thought for a second then replied with another simple, “Yeah!”
“And do you remember what I did to Scott when he touched it?”
He look of happiness quickly turned to one that clearly stated `I regret asking that question'.
I nodded my head as I slowly and sarcastically said, “Yeah.”
“Yeah Sasuke if I were you I'd follow those rules.” She warned him.
“You know if your gonna be like that then he should just read my copy!” Lili said half-amazed.
“Lili, you may be Aaya's female version, but you don't have a copy.” I said bluntly.
“Oh yeah.” She said. “Sorry Sasuke you gotta follow my psychotic friend's rules.”
I smiled evilly as I held out my book once again. “Remember my rules.” I warned as he took it.
“Aren't those books sort of…feminine?” Laraine asked.
“Yeah he probably won't like them.” I said as he opened the book to the first page, I looked at him then yelled, “What did I just say about not bending the spine!?”
“How can he read it without bending the spine?” Lili asked with a slight tinge of offense in her voice.
“The same way I do.” I said obviously.
“How do you?” Naruto asked.
“What does it matter to you? You've probably never read a book.” I shot back. “And I read like this.” I gently took my book from him and opened it at around a 75 degree angle.
“How do you read when it that closed?” Lili asked me.
I laughed. “It's just a matter of reading the outskirts first while keeping the inside closed then when you get to the inside open it a little more to see it all then when you get back to the outskirts close it.”
“That's a lot of work to keep a book in shape, why not just read it normal?” Laraine asked.
“Because, the better you take care of them they longer they last! Plus, smart one, they cost 10 bucks! They better stay in shape!” I handed the book back to Sasuke.
“Can we please train?” Naruto asked.
“No fighting near my book!” I warned Sasuke.
He rolled his eyes and set the book aside as we all focused our attention on Kakashi.
He gave us some chakra control excersize, which was in Lili's opinion `a colossal waste of her time'.
Finally after what seemed like forever the guys got it, this `oh so sadly' included Tristan. At break Sasuke was actually reading Fruits Basket, so we decided not to discuss it and instead I decided to rest.
After a few minutes of resting when I'd gotten into a truly relaxed state I heard something I hadn't heard in awhile.
“Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?” I got my cell phone out of my pocket not even bothering to hide it due to the fact that I didn't even realize where I was, I was so relaxed. I flipped it open and read `New pix message'. “What the…?” I pressed a button to see a picture of my sister on stage playing the part of `Princess Amneris' in the Broadway musical `Aida'. “NO WAY!” as I sprang up from my position laying on the grass, until I was in a sitting position. “SHE'S PROFESSIONAL?! That's so unfair!”
“What are you talking about?” Lili asked me.
“My sister! She's a professional Broadway actress! She's playing `Princess Amneris' in `Aida'!” I answered.
“What's Aida?” Haley asked.
“Really? You've never heard of it? It's `the story of a love that flourished in a time of hate. Of lover's no tyranny could separate. Love set into motion on the Nile's shore. Destiny ignited by an act of war.' Duh.” I replied quoting the first song in the play `Every Story is a Love Story'.
“Yeah, how would I know that?” Haley asked.
“It's a musical that's how!” I retaliated then looked back at the picture. “This is so unfair! Now she's gonna be rich I have to…but…I can't…”
“Can't what?” Naruto asked in between bites of his lunch,
I sighed sadly, then muttered, “Fulfill my real dream.”
“What are you talking about? Don't you want to be a ninja?” Naruto asked.
“Well I do, but…” My voice trailed off.
“Are you serious? You still have that dream?” Samantha asked me, “But that's so boring!”
“Not to me!” I shouted. “He's my idol! I wanna be just like him! Imagine it! All that money! Living in a gold plated apartment on the top floor of a building with a tv show centered around hiring your next apprentice and being in the top of business!”
“That still sounds boring.” Samantha said. “I'm gonna work at Elephant Bar!”
I rolled my eyes, “My sister works there and hates it, anyway it's still my dream despite what you say! I envy Donald Trump! He's amazing! Think about it! He's got money and pretty much everything else he wants! His apartment is literally gold plated and people are making fools of themselves to work for him!”
“I thought you wanted to act.” Stacy said.
“If I were to become the next Donald Trump I could act! I could go on `Saturday Night Live' just like he did! I could guest appearances in many places! Think about all the opportunities! It's so much! And now my schedule is ruined! I'll be too behind in math and other general education to go to a good collage like Harvard!”
“Harvard really?” Tristan asked. I decided to ignore him.
I could practically feel all my emotions bubbling up inside me. This is so aggravating! Awful! My future was crumbling before my eyes. My dream was evaporating thanks to that book. This was so…horrid…unnerving…sad…terrible. My childhood dream was floating farther and farther away. I could feel a tear drip down my cheek.
“You are such a freak.” Haley mumbled.
“What the hell is wrong with you?” Naruto asked.
“I love being here and everything but it's screwing with my future, the life I wanted at home, to be able to prove to my family that I can make it in the world without good looks and a great voice! That it's ten times more important to have a brain that good looks! That, yeah, Tiff and Alex are beautiful, but I can be just as successful if not more!” more tears continued falling. “And if I were to be the next Donald Trump I would be more successful but now I can't!”
“Jeez! Tori! Stop freaking out!” Lili shouted.
“I can't help it!” I said defensively. “I have so much to deal with! And it doesn't help that my future can never happen now!”
“You're scaring me.” Tristan muttered.
“life scares me.” I muttered still slightly weeping.
“Onto less…” Paige paused as she looked amazed at me, “freaky, life-threatening, serious matters. Lilith where are you guys living?”
She laughed. “Me and Laraine are paying for a hotel room.”
“Why don't you stay with Sakura?” Naruto asked.
“Yeah right.” Laraine laughed. “Her and Lilith do not get along.”
“Yeah!” Lili agreed. “And at home everyone loves me!”
“Yeah everyone.” Laraine said sarcastically. “You sound like Ayame.”
“I am his female version!” She said happily.
“Why don't you stay with Sasuke?” Stacy asked. “He has a mansion.”
Lili's eyes widened which is very much out of character for her. “He does but I don't think he'd want us there.” She was getting nervous which was even more out of character for her, after all she's Ayame in a woman's body!
“Why don't we stay with Sasuke?” Laraine asked. “Hey Sasuke!” The black-haired genin looked up from reading `Fruits Basket' volume one, which he'd been doing the whole time, and soundlessly urged her forward. “How come you haven't asked Geany and I to stay with you?”
“Why would I?” He asked.
“You're rich, you should've taken those six in, in the first place!” Laraine shouted.
“You're psychotic, you know that?” He replied before returning to the book.
“And I'm sure everyone of your fangirls would love to know exactly what you're reading.” I added. I'd stopped crying enough to follow the conversation. “You know all about…”
Before I knew it a pale hand covered my mouth. Dang you Sasuke! “Fine you can stay with me jus shut the hell up.” I smiled behind his hand then realized how he was holding my book.
“MMN'M I JMMT MMLL MMM,” he removed his hand, “TO BE MORE CAREFUL WITH MY BOOK?!”
“Uh oh.” Lili muttered. “You really should be more careful when it comes to any reading materials when you're around her.” Samantha nodded. “So really we can stay?” This time he nodded. “Well then you gotta let Tori stay, think about it, you can read her books with hr there, plus I ain't going without her.”
“Yeah.” Tristan said. “Get rid of Tori!” I glared at him.
“What ever smuck.” I yelled.
“He go with that word again.” Stacy said.
“I love that word! Donald Trump called Tarek a smuck in the boardroom when Tarek said that Cermaine was a weakling because she believed everyone in the suite should be friends, but Tarek thought that when it gets down to the wire they're competitors and they shouldn't get close. Then Donald Trump thought that Cermaine's idea was better so he called Tarek a smuck.”
“You really have no life.” Tristan said.
“Well at least if I didn't miss this school year I could've been the next Donald Trump!”
“Would you forget Donald Trump?!” He shouted.
“Why that guy is so amazing!”
“You know,” Stacy interrupted, “you have got to be the only 13 year old to idolize an old business man. You truly are strange.”
“Thanks!” I laughed.
“So what do ya say?” Lili asked the genin hopefully. He grunted which she decided signaled `yes'. “Yay! Hear that Tori it'll be like a giant sleepover which you know what that means!”
I raised my eyebrow. “I know!” I shouted as the two of us hopped up, and snapped resulting in a thumbs up again, then yelled, “RENT!”
“Are you guys like totally addicted to `RENT'?” Stacy asked.
“Uh ya!” We yelled in unison. She rolled her eyes.
“What's so great about `RENT'?” Naruto asked. “You guys talk about it a lot.”
“Yeah, because it's awesome. Think about having an amazing voice like Anthony Rapp and becoming rich and famous off of it! That's almost better than being the next Donald Trump!”
“Nothing beats that for you huh?” Haley asked.
“It's just such an awesome dream!” I said. “Hey who do you think these guys would be in `RENT'?” I asked Lili motioning to cell 7 and Kakashi.
“I'd say Sakura's Mimi and Naruto's Roger.” That made me crack up.
“Can you seriously picture those two singing `Light My Candle'?” I asked.
“Ooh! Kakashi would be Mark!” She continued.
At that, had I been drinking anything it would've been spit out most definitely. “Really? Mucho masturbation?”
“Yeah!” She yelled nodding continuously.
I laughed harder. “I so can't picture that!”
“Really I can.”
“Well that's just scary.”
“YOU PICTURE ME AS THE STRIPPER?!” Sakura shouted.
“Sakura knows it?” Lili asked me.
“Yeah, we've watched it like 10 times at her house.” She rolled her eyes.
“Hmm Sasuke would be…Benny.” I nodded my head slightly.
“That does make the most sense.” I said.
