Disclaimer: 1- I do not own `Naruto' nor will I claim to. 2- I however do own Renaz and the other original characters you will see. 3- if you don't like reading fanfics with oc char then to bad, so sad don't read it. 4- this is my first fanfic, you flame and you die. 5- I started watching this anime in English so all of the jutsu's names and the likes are in English, if you don't like its your problem. 6- this fanfic takes place some time after the coronation of the fifth Hokage. 7- this fanfic is neither about Naruto nor any of his friends but about my oc char however I will but using the p.o.v. of several character where appropriate.

Simple, now lets get on with this fanfic.

Chapter 3: Questions and Answers.

It was a week after the incident at Hokage's tower not one word had been spoken about what happen nor had anyone caught sight of Renaz after he left, Kakashi-sensei spoke. `Because he is a chakra master he would sense us long before we could find him, so if he doesn't want to be found he won't be found.' Naruto wanted to find Renaz and ask him some questions some of which went along the lines of `why do you know me and why should it matter if grandma Tsunade and pervy-sage mistreated me' although they hadn't but still why? It was a good thing that he had company for reasons that escaped him Neji and Sasuke wanted to go and find him as well. That in turn prompted several shinobi to accompany them as well, Sakura and Ino who wanted to be with Sasuke and so he could keep an eye on all his rivals. So it was a total of six shinobi, all of which wanted to find one shinobi who didn't want to be found.

“Does anyone have any idea on where to find him?” Sasuke spoke obviously wanting to get the search under way.

Ino was smirking now. “At thought this might be the case so I got Shikamaru to get us some intelligence on this guy.” As she said this she was rummaging around in her pack that she brought until she brought out a notebook and opened it up. “I don't see what is special about this guy, from what I read in Shikamaru's notes the only place he seems to live from all the reports is the woods.”

Neji looked over the notes as well after she was done. “It doesn't have any of his rank, status, or missions statements in it so you wouldn't understand why we wont to find him.”

“Well we know where he resides no so would it not be best to get started?” Lee spoke quite formally, and everyone gathered up their things and headed off into the woods.

Shizune headed back to the main room where lady Tsunade was. Lady Tsunade had asked her to mail out two letters to two different places and had just got positive responses from both places. Upon entering the office Shizune looked at the place and thought one thing `drinking again lady Tsunade' as she peered at the passed out Tsunade. She had been doing that more then normal for the past week. She was taking what Renaz revealed to her pretty badly, because she had forgotten about it until he mentioned it.

“Lady Tsunade, Lady Tsunade please wake up I have some good news.” Shizune said trying to get the sleeping Hokage to wake up. After about a half-hour of trying Shizune's efforts were finally rewarded with the slumbering Hokage rising from the depths of sleep.

“What do you want Shizune?” Tsunade asked groggily after being awoken before all of the after-effects from last night have worn off.

“Do you remember the letters you asked me to mail five days ago?” Asked Shizune with Tsunade nodding. “Well I just thought you might like to see the replies.”

It took a second, but upon hearing this, the blond medical sannin shot up shaking off the effect of the hangover. Grabbing the letters she read them over slowly a smile was pasted on her face. “This is great news Shizune thank you for bring it to me now the only problem is that it will take over a month.”

“Thank you Lady Tsunade.” The medical assistant said happily and bowing. “Now that your awake.” After saying the medical ninja slammed a stack of paper on the desk at which the sannin was sleeping on a few minutes ago. Seeing this Tsunade groaned.

Somewhere in the forest:

“Let's see, one, two, …four is it, no six including Naruto.” Said Renaz to no one in particular. “Hmm, it seems as if they want to find me pretty badly, if they want to find out where I am so bad then it looks like I will have to let them find me.” The silver-eyed young ninja stood up and brushed off the dirt from his mismatched clothes that he had borrowed from the village on the day that he awoke in the hospital. “Oh with that Byakugan they should have no problem finding me.” With that he left to meet them

The makeshift search party finally stopped at a clearing in the forest for lunch. All the members of the party pulled out their lunches consisting of a verity of sweet bean rolls to instant ramen. The shinobi assembled were eating lunch, two of which were trying to feed a certain member of the Uchia clan their lunches finally Naruto being ever forgetful didn't pack any water.

“Can I have some water someone?” Naruto asked looking to everybody. Everybody who was there looked at him as if he was insane.

“You forgot to bring water!” Sasuke asked in that annoyed voice that is his normal speaking voice to which Naruto nodded. “What a loser.”

Naruto always goaded but that remark would have responded in normal fashion if not interrupted. “Don't worry Naruto there is a spring due south not to far from here.” Everyone turned to find the one that they had been looking for not to far from where they sitting.

“Ha, the one we are looking for comes to us how fortunate for us.” Neji spoke having been the first to regain his voice from the surprise.

“We have some questions for you Renaz.” Sasuke spoke somewhat relieved to have found him sooner then expected.

Renaz smirked knowing some of the questions they probably had for him. “So what are they mind you though that although I'll listen to them doesn't mean that I'll answer them so go ahead shoot.”

Naruto about to speak was cut off from asking by Neji who asked first. “Tell us why would Kakashi-sensei not let use our abilities in your presence?” Sasuke agree as well to the question being asked.

“You know that was the one question I would hope you would ask.” Renaz grinned looking over to Sasuke. “You the Uchia boy why don't you and me have a match don't worry I'll go easy on you.”

Sasuke grinned back. “You wish, you will need all your skills to defeat me.” With that Sasuke close his eyes for and when he opened them again the Sharingan was revealed. “Lets start shall we.”

Back at the Leaf village in front of the ramen shop:

“Hey Kakashi have you seen Neji or Lee?” Gai spoke when had finally found Kakashi it had taken a better part of the morning.

Kakashi looked surprised “No I haven't and Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are missing as well.”

“Oh are you looking for the little guy that buys ramen here?” they both turned to see that it was the shop keeper/chef of the place. They both nodded to the question. “He bought some instant ramen early this morning saying that they were going to find someone with strange eyes.”

Kakashi and Gai looked at each other then Kakashi cursed and they headed off toward the woods.

Back at the clearing:

Sasuke found himself impressed with this guy's level of taijutsu but so far had found no answer as to his and Neji's earlier question. “I still don't see what the problem is, you don't seem to be able to counter the sharingan so why is Kakashi didn't want me to use it?”

The man with silver eyes just keep smiling the whole time. “Are you sure you want to find out.” Sasuke just looked on with more determination. “Fine get ready most people only see it once right before they die.” Sasuke prepared himself as Renaz flashed through hand signs end with a combination he know instinctively to be a blood trait thanks to his sharingan eyes. “Here we go Ninja art: Blood Mimicry.” With that he lowered his hand and closed his eyes. “Have you prepared yourself?” he said with his eyes still closed.

“Yes, get on with it.” Sasuke said with impatience “What ever you got hidden away won't stop me from wiping the floor with you.” Saying this but thinking `it looks like chidori is the only thing that will work'.

“Fine, lets continue this fight.” With that said, Renaz opened his to look upon his opponent. Gasps could be heard among those gathered there but none so loud as Sasuke's.

“What is the meaning of this!” Sasuke shouted outraged at what he beheld. For when he looked upon Renaz's face he seen not the normal eyes, well at least for Renaz, but Sasuke's own incomplete sharingan.

“This is the reason why I am called the `Blood Hunter' ninja.” Renaz spoke with authority. “For those with Kekagenkai with find no advantage against me.”

Startled for a second Sasuke regained his composer rethinking the situations until finally he found a solution. “Ha I get it that is only a genjutsu, you're a second there I thought you were serious well lets see you handle this.” With his statement and rationalization complete, Sasuke flashed through the hand signs that is need to use the chidori. Renaz just starring at the young Uchia let him complete the jutsu and soon Sasuke's left hand was covered with lightning and the sounds of birds could be heard coming from his hand. Finally finished gathering the necessary chakra needed Sasuke charged at the `imitator' while Renaz just stood there seemingly unconcerned When finally Sasuke was within striking distance he thrust his hand at his chest. “Chidori!”

However Renaz countered in a way no one expected him to, he grabbed it. As he did the energy from the attack shoot up his arm to his shoulder bursting out of several places along the way making the analogy bursting from the seems appropriate. As the energy dissipated and with pain clearly showing on his face, Renaz disappeared and reappeared behind Sasuke. Grabbing him by the shirt with his good arm and gave him a toss to the other side the clearing.

Uchia got to his feet with a smirked on his face, feeling that his victory was assured. “Don't get cocky I did this to make a point to you, look at my arm.” Renaz shouted to his opponent.

Sasuke's grin slowly disappeared from his face as he observed what appeared to be steam raising from Renaz's arm `his arm it is healing itself' he thought. Then Sasuke remembered Prof. Kaid's words from a week ago. “Renaz has something that can best be described as `Malleable Blood, this allows his blood to change and morph, which in turn allows him to regenerate automatically'. `Does that mean that he really has copy the sharingan from me?' he thought as Renaz's arm completed it's healing process.

“He since you gave me such a sparkly special gift, I think I should return the favor.” Renaz said suddenly giving a wicked smile and flashed through familiar looking hand signs and finally his left hand started to glow and chirp.

Sasuke could do nothing but look, as his strongest attack was preformed not by his or Kakashi's hand but by someone who not only copied it with the sharingan that was stolen from him but could perform the attack without any prier training. Suddenly he was gone but not lost as Sasuke could now clearly hear the chirping that was coming from behind him.

“Know this Sasuke Uchia, if I wanted you dead you would be so already just from my speed alone.” Renaz spoke in a quite voice that could clearly be heard by all as the chirping and lightning disappeared.

“Well Sasuke I hoped you learned what you need to.” Came a voice from nowhere as Kakashi and Gai appeared in the clearing.

“Kakashi-sensei how long have you been watching?” Sakura spoke now able to now that the intense fight was over.

“He's been there since Sasuke started charging the chidori.” Renaz spoke clearly the only one who knew so, as the sharingan disappeared from his eyes to be replaced by the metallic silver ones once again.

Sasuke looking ashamed a strange look on the boy. “Kakashi-sensei what about the sharingan he has it now.” This was going to dishonor him for sure. If `he' found out then there would be not helping him then.

“Don't worry kid.” Renaz spoke seemingly not caring at all. “My blood mimicry only can copy Kekagenkai while I'm around it.” Sasuke looked relieved at this. “Haven't found the way keep them, but I'm working on it.”

Sasuke looked intimidated by this as well as everyone else in the clearing. “I'm glad we found you though we been meaning to give this to you.” Gai said handing him the pack that was thrown over his shoulder. “It is some of the stuff you left behind from your last mission, although the clothes have been retailored to fit you.”

“Thanks Gai, I appreciate that very much.” He thanked the taijutsu master.

“Well it looks like you guy's were about to have lunch.” Gai said with bravado in his voice to which everyone nodded in agreement. “How about we all go back to the village and grab something to eat, my treat.”

For some reason that made Kakashi and Renaz smile “should I tell him” Renaz spoke in a whisper to the copy ninja.

Kakashi just shook his head. “No he'll soon learn his mistake.” Renaz only smiled at that.

“Alright Gai I'll be right behind you just let me get dressed into my clothes and I'll meet you there.” Renaz spoke once again aloud.

“Right we will be off then, everyone.” Gai spoke preparing to leave.

“Gai-sensei you'll buy for everyone you said.” Naruto the obvious one that said this and Gai only agreed with the boy. “Then let's go!” the knuckled-headed ninja was of in a poof of smoke and suddenly Gai felt a strong stab in his wallet.

Naruto was already on his third bowl much to the amazement of the others and pain for Gai knowing that this would continue. Just then a figure appeared wearing black boots and pants, with a red shirt, and a black coat from head to ankle long covering it all. On the back of the coat a red circle with a drop of blood in the center of it that had five blue lines in a swirl pattern emerging from the center of the blood drop extending to connect to the circle. The only other distinguishing factors were the necklace with the blood charm on it and black sunglasses.

“I hope you've save up enough money for this Gai.” The man now identified by his voice to be Renaz. “I would feel bad if you ended up having to live in the woods like I do.”

“Be assure that I can take…” However Gai's words deciding to stay in his throat at seeing that Renaz had already finished his first order and on his second already. “What you already finished with the first!”

Upon hearing this, the second bowl of ramen was finished and he was still ordering more. “Excuse me Gai.” Gai turned to look at the person speaking. “Back when Renaz became a chunin I decided to take him to lunch all you can eat to congratulate his success.” Kakashi spoke with pain clearly in his voice as well as a hint of amusement. “I was broke for about six weeks afterwards.” The taijutsu master just gaped at the silver-haired ninja then looked towards the silver-eyed man who had caught up to Naruto who was on his fourth bowl. “However that was a long time ago and I'm sure by the looks of it he won't eat as much as he did then.” Gai breathed a sigh of at that maybe he wouldn't have to live in the woods with the guy after all. “Ya no doubt he's going to need a lot more food to fill him up this go around.”

An audible thud was heard just then and Lee looked over to see his mentor unconscious on the ground, which prompted him to see if his squad leader was still alive.

Seeing that everyone was to distracted to ask any questions to the ninja that was giving him a run for money, Gai's money actually, he decided that this was a perfect opportunity for his questions. “Umm excuse me Renaz.” Naruto asked and would have gotten a reply if not for the noodles that were hanging from his mouth but his attention was definitely drown in by Naruto. “Why did you saw those thing about me to grandma Tsunade?”

Renaz looking at the face of the young gennin to see if there was something there, which had a result of making the blond-haired ninja a little uncomfortable. “You don't remember do you?” The chunin asked his mouth free of any food.

That question puzzled Naruto, what did he mean? “Remember what?” For a second the young ninja thought he saw a hint of disappointment and sadness cross the chunin's face but could not tell for sure.

“Don't worry about it.” Renaz quickly spoke his face suddenly being stoked full of noodles. “Maybe I'll tell you later.”

Naruto still could not figure it out, tell him what later? What was he supposed to remember?

Renaz then turned to him and smiled seeing the confused face on the gennin. “Don't worry about it right now let's just concentrate on eat Gai out of house and home.” The chunin laughed and Naruto could not help but laugh with as he agreed clearly hearing another thud that was Gai-sensei who had just gotten back on his stool just to face plant right back in the dirt.

End of Chapter 3

Well, what did everyone think of Blood Hunter and his powers to you guys who were disappointed on not seeing any of the wire stunts there will be more of that in the future. From here on out this time line will deviate from the Naruto episodes but I might tie them back into them later if I feel like it and if I can find a way when I come to it.

Well how did everybody like chapter 3, people who liked this will be blessed by any and all things that like me… if only I could remember what or who they were, if any at all. Those who flame me, well who cares about you anyway. Well, R & R or punishment will come quick.
