CHAPTER 8- WARNING

The people in the stadium looked on with confusion. The village's idiot and a strange girl that was seen pulling the kid she was now on top of around Konoha yesterday, had ran through the doors of the arena without warning.

They were all thinking the same thing…

What the hell?!

Sakura, Ino and Choji looked like they had seen a ghost.

Ino and Choji were just surprised that Naruto had made it on time, with a girl no less. But Sakura thought into depth about this.

She knew that Kakashi-sensei had given Naruto a special trainer with a guy named Ebisu something or another. So wasn't Naruto supposed to show up with that guy? She knew that a girl younger than herself couldn't be Naruto's trainer… could she?

The crowed watched in silence as the silver haired girl was tripped and then landed on the most powerful gennin in the exam, flattening both of them on the ground. Her faint voice could barely be heard,

“H-hey, Gaara-kun…”

She got everyone's attention as she said that. The contestants in the lone looked at her like she was crazy… well she was if she wasn't even scrambling to get away from the homicidal maniac. She just laid there, on top of one Sabaku no Gaara.

Shikamaru suddenly looked like he remembered something that he had forgotten.

`T-that's the girl that was in Gaara's bath! No way…' He gulped and turned away, tacking small steps to get further and further from Gaara.

Temari and Kankuro smiled, Neji stared intently at the two, Shino only shrugged and the third Hokage stood out of his chair with a smirk. The jonnin next to him looked shocked as did the KazeKage.

“Lord Hokage?” The old man put up his hand telling that no questions would be asked. He walked over to the railing of the balcony, the KazeKage watching his every move closely.

“I see you've decided to join us, Akira-chan.” She looked up to where he stood and, as she got off of Gaara, smiled brightly to him.

“Hai, Hokage-sensei!” He chuckled as he got stares from the audiences around him.

“Akira-chan, I thought I told you not to call me sensei. The forth Hokage was your sensei.” Now everyone was confused. He was dead before she was born, right? So how could he have taught her?

Akira only smiled.

“Yes, but as I recall, you were the one who taught me the jutsu to bring him back in the first place, right sensei?” She smirked when she saw him sigh in defeat. But he never lost his smile.

“Just get up here so we can start.” He sat back down getting weird stares from the people around him saying, `you did not do what I think you did.' He only smiled nervously and sweat dropped. `I knew she wouldn't disappoint me…'

Akira started to walk away happily when someone caught her wrist. She looked back and saw Gaara looking at her seriously. She did the same back.

“Gaara-kun?” He pulled her close so he could whisper in her ear.

“Get out of here.” Her eyes got wide with shock. The way he said it… it was like venom was thickly dripping off each of his words to her… like he really meant it. Was something going to happen? Something bad?

She looked at him.

“Wha—“

“I won't explain, but as soon as it's my match, get the hell away from this village, got it?” He pushed her away and she looked back at him, her eyes telling him everything. He shook his head no and her stare quickly became sad. She walked away a few yards and then disappeared, reappearing next to the Hokage.

He looked at her sternly than with question.

“What was that all about?” She was shocked to hear the KazeKage's voice. She looked at the ground.

“Nothing sir.” He stared at her menacingly but than looked back down at the two children who would start off the third part of the chunnin exam in the center of the stadium. `Hyuuga Neji and Uzamaki Naruto… hmmm…'

At last the final part of the chunnin exam begins.
